Reviews of Brighton Dome
b. m.
Very good venue for music and shows. Feels like a traditional setting but with modern facilities, long bar for example to serve people during the intermission.
j. b.
Great venue for shows. I've been to a hand full of shows here ranging from acoustic to metal and they have all been great. Quite a bit of standing space at the bottom with some seating. The circle at the top is staating and has a great view. Bar is limited in beer choice but it is under a fiver for a pint which is good.
Friendly staff and clean bathrooms which are all genders. Awesome :)
A.
Excellent covid precautions before entry, even had an ambulance to offer lateral flow tests. Great venue with wonderful auditorium. Comfy seats, with decent view of the stage. Well stocked bar with plenty of bar staff and drinks not overly priced.
r. r.
First visit to watch a ballet. I was really blown away with the dome structure, the seating spacing. The ushers were very helpful and friendly. Sound and lighting very good and appropriate for the performance. Cannot wait to return! ❤❤❤❤
J. G.
This is a wonderful venue. I have seen live music and comedy here. The seating is comfortable and the raking is just right so your view is never obscured by the 6’ person in front. Sound wise this venue is also excellent. I have sat in various places around the room for concerts and there doesn’t seem to be bad place.
The staff are also very nice and friendly and the facilities are well look after.
Definitely one of my top venues for seeing live music right now.
E. D.
Fabulous venue. Great assistance for disabled and lovely, kind, helpful staff. The only complaint I have is the seats aren't comfy but other than that. Brilliant acoustics and sound and atmosphere
J. L.
Beautiful venue. Very helpful and friendly staff.
Tip: Pre-order interval drinks and avoid the queue.
S. M.
Stunning building inside and out. Sound was great. Saw Peaches live and the sound was incredibly clear despite her being a bass fiend. Staff were incredibly friendly and not too many questions at toilets or bars. Great time and great place to see live acts!
N. L.
We went to watch Dylan Moran at the Dome on Friday 25/03/2022 and the show was incredible. However the Venue was just as much of an event as the show. The building in beautiful and the staff where really friendly and the atmosphere was spot on. It must of had a renovation of sorts recently because it was clean, comfortable and the paint looked fresh white. Most definitely one of the best venues I have been too in some time and I will return, so should you!
C. W.
Went here to see Skunk Anansie.
First time at this venue and loved it.
Small enough so even if you are the furthest back you still have a good view.
Seats are a bit of a squash but they are tiered high enough so the person in front doesn't obstruct your view.
Drinks are a reasonable price but the bar area is a little under whelming.
E. M. d. C.
Great sound, and steeply tiered seating in the circle to help with sight lines. 🎶😊🖤
A. O.
Amazing night with Lea Salonga. Beer is good and staff were very friendly in handling with ticket problems
J. W.
Loved this council run venue.Fantastic, smiling & friendly staff.
Great acoustics in the hall & Skunk Anansie were brilliant.
J. S.
The venue is old, but clean. Extremely professional staff who are happy to help.
My last visit I was in a lot of pain. They offer to move me to different seats.
Check with venue before buying seats, the stalls often are expensive but don't offer best view as stage layout can be different.

Great evening out ( finally) after a 2 year wait, show was fantastic, Stranglers and the ruts, well worth a trip to a very windy Brighton, Venue was great and drinks 🍸 were very reasonable, had to show covid app to gain entry, staff were cheerful and pleasant so all in all a fantastic evening. Many thanks to the bands who were brilliant 👏
D. P.
Great Venue, came here to see the shires. Good atmosphere and brilliant view of the stage.
B. D.
Loved Imelda May's gig here , great sounds and acoustics. Great venue
T. P.
I actually do stage crew and set up events here! It's a beautiful original theatre hall, original feature peieces are excellent condition! You can catch a wide range of acts from royal philharmonic orchestra to Nick Cave to Stick man theatre production! Always friendly and professional staff.
It's bank in the centre of Brighton and sits just off the Royal pavilion gardens. Easy access to shops, cafes, restaurants and all other wonders of Brighton and Hove. Few mins from the beach and pier.
A. H.
Always a great venue. Not too big so you can see the stage easily when standing. Well organised staff at entrances, bar and cloakroom.
J. F.
Saw the Brighton philharmonic orchestra play today. Great venue, with good line of sight to the stage from all seats. Good acoustics, comfy seats and good value tickets for our concert. Will look to see more events at this venue
A. S.
Excellent acoustics and friendly bar staff, but the Ryanair style seating is such a shame. It would have been nice to be sat in a comfortable chair to enjoy the entertainment, but the tightly-packed seats with thin cushions were disappointing
D. C.
Didn’t actually go inside but the outside is 100% worth seeing it’s soo beautiful
A. H.
Nice venue! Lovely decor, very airy. Seating layout is good. Nice big stage. Friendly helpful staff.
I. E.
Fantastic venue, great acoustics and bar prices are reasonable. Saw The Shires here in April.
M. N.
It's a great venue acoustically. Similar to the Royal Albert Hall but the Brighton Dome is showing its age both in terms of decor and management.
Entry is slow because it's staffed by pensioners, which is cute but not efficient.
They offer a drinks ordering service, so you can pick your drinks up beforehand or in the interval, but the poor management means you pay for your drinks in advance but they don't prepare them, so you have to queue up like everyone else, making it completely pointless. It just lulls you into a false sense of security thinking everything's organised.
It's a bit like a school report saying "Could do better".
C. K.
Great to be back here again!
5 concerts in the last 2 months, Skunk Anansie, Jose Gonzales and Little Simz were highlights.
Well organised and felt completely at ease attending during these difficult times.
N. H.
Great venue, good bar, good people
J. F.
To be fair there is nothing wrong with the venue. The issue I had was with the show I went to watch. I went to see Stuart Lee. I left during the interval. Personally, not my cup of tea.
T. J.
Stunning inside and out, lovely capacity - large enough to attract big acts, but still intimate. Really friendly staff and very inclusive.
r. j. r.
Historical versatile venue. From all things
artistic, creative, musical and funny. To
exhibitions, functions and conferences.
In the Heart of Brighton - surrounded by
pubs, cafes, shops & restaurants. Easy
access. Undergoing a massive project
of refurbishment.
S. G.
Seen Elvis Costello the night before our Spanish trip. EC is amazing, the dome is a great venue.
M. L.
Really like the venue, always enjoy going their to see a good band in action
C. G.
A most enjoyable evening watching the dance show. Good facilities.
N. D.
Brilliant venue with a lovely atmosphere the staff are very helpful and polite, drinks are a little steep in price but I'm not to complain, parking is easy with a car park just 2 minutes up the road from the venue.
B. B.
Beautiful venue, very unique. They were hosting a very tech exploratory event when we visited, and it was great to have such a beautiful surrounding for it.
J. W.
Very established event venue. Well-tamed acoustic, reasonable bar prices, and central to many other attractions. Efficient ticketing system.
R. J.
Great venue, good views where ever you are. Not to big that you need binoculars to see the performers. But larger enough to attract big acts. Great atmosphere and large vestibule/ bar area.
D. T.
Went to see the stranglers and the ruts in concert, absolute fantastic night, showed covid pass to enter, drink was very reasonably priced, all in all a great time 😀, a fantastic atmosphere in a fantastic venue.
A.
The venue is incredible. Now one of my favourite. Capacity is great as it's not too big and not to small. I believe it is around 2,000 people. There is a nicely decorated bar inside and cloakroom.
D. M.
Saw Dionne Warwick here for her farewell concert. She was really entertaining. Great venue.
T. S.
The architecture is nice. Looks like a mosque. And can see the indian architecture associate with the british building. The garden is well maintained. The place is nice
S. P.
Brilliant show on at the dome for Christmas circolombia till mon 27 th dec
D. N.
Great venue. Well located. Staff well organised, friendly and efficient. Perfect size for a gig.
C. H.
Lovely venue.. One the whole.
The door staff were good and the Laura Marlin gig I attended was great.
Only real problem for me was when the concert was finished they ushered us out of there far to quickly, straight out onto the streets without even a chance to use the it loo's
L. S.
Beautiful building, very well organised. Only part that was a bit chaotic was the interval drinks but that was our fault for not pre-ordering them when the paperwork said to lol.
J. A.
Great venue that I have been to many times, very well laid out in a partially circular shape with very few obscured views and a large upper circle. An ideal place to see plays or musical performances.
M. S.
Such a beautiful venue with a sound to match, just wish we lived closer
S. P.
Excellent venue. Attended the Marillion concert. Sound quality is very good, facilities are correct, the Saxon (Sussex-based) lager is delicious (for my taste!) and affordable.
All in all a great experience.
S. S.
Great location, visited for Skunk Anansie concert. More places (all places) should have gender inclusive toilets. Well done!
A. B.
We went there to see Postmodern Jukebox and it was amazing. We found the place quickly and the people there were very nice and helped with all the information needed. Toilets were clean as well. There was a bar there, where you could get drinks and at the end of the event they were offering water. Had an amazing time!!
S. H.
Love seeing shows here chairs comfy. Drinks not over priced. Staff are friendly
A. W.
Saw Everything Everything. Beer queue was quick. Sound was a bit quiet, but didn't ruin the atmosphere.
c. c.
Brill evening - venue has comfy seats & you can take drinks in from bar to main event
M. B.
Would really benefit from a better refreshment service. I'd estimate that 20% of people didn't make it to the front of the queue at the interval because of long lines.
G. A.
Great venue. Really like that it's not too big, you feel intimate with the artist. Good bar too. Central brighton so loads of restaurants and bars nearby.
I've seen comedy, classical music and drum and bass at the dome, all have been great.
J. G.
Great concert. Jess Gillard absolutely terrific. Dome ideally suited to this type of concert.
V.
Only visited once but was a nice experience!
Does get busy, of course, during events so queues are very likely. Staff are lovely.
E. D.
Great venue, good drinks. Always fun for gigs and comedy
K. J.
We have been a few yome to see various events. Easy yo get to and has drinks and snacks at the interval.
S. B.
My favourite venue for a proper Brighton music gig. Even if I was up in the gods for this one.
w. h.
Great little venue. Very intimate and good sound quality.
R. F.
A wonderful concert hall, really like the refurbishments and restoration of key features of the building, some stunning original work, presumably from Robert Atkinson. Was there for a packed evening to see Dara O'Briain: Voice of Reason, which was excellent. I was truly grateful to the staff who managed to change the night of my original ticket after I'd made a mistake, very accommodating and efficient. The Concert Hall is brilliant and there didn't seem to be a bad seat, we were in the circle, and I would have liked more leg room, but I wasn't cramped. Shame there aren't more venues like this outside of London in the South East.
J. S.
Wonderful, haven't been for many years, it was to see Dionne Warwick, she was good, considering she had her leg operated on a month ago,
b. p.
Went to see
Circolombia: Acelere
It was amazing.....
D. R.
Great show. Facilities are ok. Visibility vey good.
P. M.
Life affirming Billy Bragg concert, with great atmosphere, acoustics and unity in the audience. Well managed by excellent staff. A celebration of of the common good against the meagre demonstration of the against vaxers outside. Joyous evening in a wonderful venue
G. R.
Really nice looking room (concert hall). Helpful staff too. Good night out.
I. L.
Beautiful historic building, excellent staff, plenty of bar staff available to serve drinks. Very close to performers, no visual obstructions. Only down side was the que for the gents loo was large due to a lack of urinals for size of venue.
L. B.
Great venue, super beautiful and sound great. Easy to see the stage from wherever you are in the hall. Well organized and great staff. The venue is right in the heart of Brighton, one of my favourite towns in England.
I.
Great venue, very well supervised, amazing building, went to see The Fishermen's Friends perform, 👍
A. S.
From a disabled point of view, I had a really enjoyable experience. The staff and facilities I used were excellent. I can't comment on cost of beverages as I didn't take advantage of this particular amenity. I noticed there are a few parking spaces directly outside the Dome but I used the NCP 2 minutes up the road as suggested on the Dome's website
T. D.
Really nice venue, great event, friendly staff and fab atmosphere throughout!
Amazing conference - if anyone wants to get healthy with the option of earning an extra couple of quid a month, get in touch!
R. W.
Fabulous venue for any musical event
a. h.
Fantastic acoustics. Very helpful staff. Seating was comfortable and the place had a clean air about it. Wheelchair friendly, gender neutral disabled toilet. Very hot on Covid security. Need evidence of vaccination to enter, and take temperature checks before entry too. Reasonably priced spirits and mixers aswell. Worth a visit.
L. C.
Fabulous and free if you’re a local. The Snowman installation was fabulous and very it’s all very family friendly with activities for the children.
J. M.
Acoustics are good considering the size of the venue. Good seating plan. Seats aren't overly comfortable but considering the age and history, it's an amazing place to be in
M. M.
Getting a bit old and tired but wow look at the history so think being a bit tiewd is allowed. Lovely venue for all sorts of events.
N. P.
Great venue. Stage is easily seen from anywhere.
C. C.
Saw John Barrowman here, staff were lovely and made finding our seats incredibly easy! Everybody greeted us with a smile and the seating was brilliant, could see everything despite being towards the back.
N. W.
Fantastic venue. First time I had been.
S. D.
Love this building been twice in last month 1st to see Gospek Choir singing Bob Marley & then this week to see the ballet The Snow Queen both performances so good well done also the staff felt as safe as could be in these horrible times
D. i. B.
The atmosphere was amazing, the staff were welcoming and friendly and the show we went to see was fantastic. My only complaint is for the sound system, it wasn't at 100% hence only 4 stars, BUT that's only a minor issue, the whole event was just brilliant.
M. A.
Excellent venue, great shows and gigs. Staff are really sweet and helpful, they have their own Epione Ambulance on site which is great to know. The architecture is like no other. Would recommend!
P. N.
Felt very safe going in. Checks made for jabs and PCR tests at the door. All maske kept on at least until people were seated
W. A.
I had a great experience coming to a show here. The bar is great with a couple of nice local beers, the architecture is gorgeous and everything is very clean. There are a lot of covid measures in place but these are handled quickly and competently by the staff.
J. P.
Great night. Well managed during current crisis. No cash sales inside, so make sure you have a debit card with you.
S. D.
What a great venve qnd run by some great and friendly people. Ill go again. Dana Dentata was sooo good. :)
A. H.
One of the best venues for music gigs. Unlike the Brighton Centre you are reasonably close to the bands even towards the back. Very impressed with the Covid precautions in the bar areas. Staff were friendly and helpful. Organised queues for the bar. Only disappointment was the limited range of beers.
D. M.
Great venue, if a little up it's own bottom sometimes
C. N.
A grand small-ish venue. Whatever seat / area you choose to book, you won't be far from the stage.
R. P.
Lovely venue and the line up of coming events and artists is superb.
S. N.
Beautiful venue, my first time there I had a decent seat and was amazed by the view!
M. -. F. S. s.
Beautiful venue, bar average priced. Seating needs updating!!
E. J. M. (.
While seeing RY X perform I was thoroughly pleased by the whole experience, the seating is spacious and comfy with enough room to manouvre. But more importantly the sound system and acoustics are super awesome if you like clarity and bass. Small enough for intimate ambiance but large enough to give the sense of space. Drinks are allowed in stalls and if your lucky enough, behind the sound tech area theres table/ledge space place your drinks on. Venue has bar and toilet facilities. Should you need more there are a plethora of stores in the immediate vicinity. If your favourite artist is performing there, it's worth the commute.
D.
This is the best venue in Brighton. Good acoustics and sight lines, lovely art deco interior. Works for a whole range of performers
A. G.
Always have adored this lovely historic building. A brilliant venue for gigs and all manner of performances. Lucky enough to be with Soul of the City Community Choir, singing two of songs, as part of the covid Compassion Service, this afternoon. XXX
D. B.
Great venue for gigs!
S. B.
Great experience during Philharmonia Orchestra event.
C. M.
Dita von tease was amazing this venue is the perfect size for a great view Everytime
S. P.
One of my favourite venues, the refurbishment is top quality and the bass is felt throughout the venue #recommended 😎🎶
A. L.
Great venue, nice location, bar staff quick.
M. H.
Went to see Clannad on their farewell tour. Very easy to find and very friendly staff. Keeping up with covid restrictions, you must produce your covid vaccination card plus a temperature check before entry. So long as no problems you then enter and produce your tickets. Plenty of space inside with a well stocked bar. Perfect for a night's entertainment.
C. M.
Excellent organisation for points of Entry to the Gig. Well placed, polite, informative and very pleasant staff. Delighted to see Brighton Dome carries out "bag searches", very important. Bar staff quick & efficient. Highly recommend as a venue.
L. S.
Beautiful building, very well organised. Only part that was a bit chaotic was the interval drinks but that was our fault for not pre-ordering them when the paperwork said to lol.
D. E.
A little tired in the auditorium but still a great place. Reasonably priced bar. Easy access to bus routes.
i. c.
Lovely building. Bright but not very warm acoustic... And scarily only a third full for a fine concert....
I. L.
Beautiful historic building, excellent staff, plenty of bar staff available to serve drinks. Very close to performers, no visual obstructions. Only down side was the que for the gents loo was large due to a lack of urinals for size of venue.
a. h.
Fantastic acoustics. Very helpful staff. Seating was comfortable and the place had a clean air about it. Wheelchair friendly, gender neutral disabled toilet. Very hot on Covid security. K. M.
Love this place for live music..♥️
J. C.
Great venue. Good views from all seats. Comfy. Drinks not too expensive. Enjoy
A. H.
One of the best venues for music gigs. Unlike the Brighton Centre you are reasonably close to the bands even towards the back. Very impressed with the Covid precautions in the bar areas. Staff were friendly and helpful. Organised queues for the bar. Only disappointment was the limited range of beers.
N. W.
Fantastic venue. First time I had been.
A. L.
Enjoyable visit to the New Year's eve gala but was a little peeved when they removed our water and sweets for collection afterwards. Should be put on the ticket information to prewarn people.
B. D.
Great venue for concerts. Went to see Passenger here and the dome was a great place to see him in. Nice big hall where we bought beer and snacks and a big space for buying merch.
D. H.
Great venue for a good night's entertainment 👌
S. P.
Amazing venue, such a great night
C. K.
Been to the Brighton dome numerous times, every seat is a good seat.
Free cold, filtered tap water available so you can save your money the super expensive ice cream
P.
I have not personally been yet so can only comment on a very small portion of BD's services.
If you can't go to a show, BD have a system where they offer to sell the tickets for you - sounds great doesn't it? Unfortunately they don't put them back on the system, so anyone using their website won't know and you have to rely on the box office remembering to check a separate list of tickets available for re-sale, which they don't always do. I may be being a little harsh as I don't think they have to offer this service at all, so I am very grateful to them for eventually selling my tickets and hope they may be able to make this system more robust in the future.
N. S.
Historical Concert Hall with good acoustic! Had a lovely time there!
D. I.
Great music venue. Great acoustics. Great staff.
R. B.
Marvellous Orchestra and the Conductor was brilliant. The concert was excellent.
V. M.
Fantastic venue. Covid passes checked at door felt safe. Gay men's chorus was amazing.
G. C.
Great venue with an interesting history. Also this is where ABBA won the Eurovision back in 1974!
L. &. D. 2.
Even though I have not been there, I still know the fact that ABBA won the Eurovision Song Contest here back in 1974 for Sweden!!
R. K.
Went to see Fishermans Friends here. Fantastic venue even better band.
D. R.
First event following Covid 19 relaxing of rules and the staff could not have done more to make us feel safe. Seating was spaced brilliantly. Ordering was easy and plenty of staff giving advice around the one way system, etc. Would thoroughly recommend.
C. P.
Only thought about killing myself 3 times, the idea of jumping off the top balcony seemed very appealing until the acts started. From then on, very enjoyable night. Would highly recommend, thankyou for a splendid experience.
Lots of love n hugz

Fantastic venue , staff friendly and very helpful xx
i. s.
Great venue, more intimate than the Brighton Centre
N. H.
Gorgeous building. Organised. Very enjoyable evening. Seats were pretty comfy.
j. m.
It was attractive clean and well attended by staff. It was wonderful to be at a live performance. Hard for artists to generate real verve with the social distanced seating, but THEY DID! Bring it on Brighton.
A. L.
Great venue friendly staff, goood comedy
E. P.
Love this venue, great view where ever you are seated (in main room)
p. w.
Superb friendly venue. Efficient organisation. Superb clean facilities
J. E.
Great venue for music, great acoustics. The Darkness rocked
C. P.
My first event since all the covid fun began, staff at the dome were really good and covid measures done well. The bar area had an aroma that reminded me of rock pools, mist be the cleaning stuff they use.
S. G.
Excellent venue, really enjoyed the show
A. G.
Fabulous acoustics. A real treat for music lovers.
C. S.
Well organised (re:Covid passes etc) friendly staff, can order drinks & snacks on line - or over the bar for the interval. ALWAYS really great performers!
J. C.
Great venue. Good views from all seats. Comfy. Drinks not too expensive. Enjoy
R. W.
Great venue for live music with a great sound
P. H.
Really cool venue and great job on the socially distanced shows!👍
S. S.
My favourite venue for live music.
m. t.
Saw Grayson Perry, show was good, interval was chaos if you needed the bar or toilets, the one way system created queues that combined do people didn't know what queue they were in! Seats also seemed to make you slide down and have to keep resetting your position.
R. K.
Great venue for theatre & music 🎶 Great vibe
S. S.
Friendly venue, quick service both inside and outside.
Seats could be more spacious and comfortable, only reason i gave 4 stars.
T. W.
They are so helpful. My mobility is limited presently and they do so much to help me. I am allowed a personal assistant who can attend the concert.
L. S.
Great venue, you are so close to the performance.
S. L.
Had a great time with viewing experience in the circle. However seats desperately need an update, wasn't a long set but by the end of it my backside was killing me.
i. c.
Lovely building. Bright but not very warm acoustic... And scarily only a third full for a fine concert....
M. w.
Great night could have more choice off lager very well run...
D. E.
A little tired in the auditorium but still a great place. Reasonably priced bar. Easy access to bus routes.
R. B.
Very impressive never been before I normally go to the Chichester festival theatre which is 200 metres from where I live
G. T.
It's one of Brightons famous venues for all different types of events lovely place to go to .
K. “. H.
The gig was amazing however the staff & ticketmaster did not advise us that we had to provide recent negative covid test or vaccine passport. We waited in line for 26 mins for the staff to tell us at the end of the line we needed to go round the corner for my partner & my sister to be tested (I had a covid passport) and then we had to wait another half an hour. We missed the first act and wasted a whole hour due to the domes staff not informing us prior. The gig was great, all of the staff not involved with letting people in were great. But I can't leave a 5 star review due to the complete timewasting staff outside. Be prepared next time tell people all of the information and do not argue with me at the door, we were not informed by email, I check these things meticulously!!
Otherwise had a great time.
D. M.
Great venue but the drinks are far too expensive
L. W.
Couldn't go.in without covid pass so no jab no.show . Then told to wear mask 😷 but soon as you walked like 100 plus stood around drinking at bar so was bit pointless.then when seating so many were not wearing them.. seats so.close together and if want toilet everyone has to get up
C. H.
Went to see passenger at the dome, all covid checks done very well, felt safe, then the concert, wow, so good to be back out enjoying Brighton, what a star to watch as well, he was fantastic.
L. F.
Great venue, there's air conditioning too!
S. J.
Nice venue, lovely surroundings, just needs a bit more legroom in the auditorium.
D. p.
Great venue with excellent sightlines, even from the back of the balcony. Great acoustics, helpful staff and a beautiful looking venue
a. m.
Good access for wheelchair. Seating getting a little old now and a bit uncomfortable. Friendly stewards. Good bar area.
J. R.
Great place for a gig! Saw Shakespears Sister there last night!
D. B.
It's a great venue. Nice staff, good bar, easy to see the bands from most places..
S. B.
Good fun! Staff is friendly, wait at the bar is minimal for a place that is full when a show is on & getting out the hall is pretty speedy as well! However the leg space on the circle seats is limited. I have quite an average height but my legs are really tight and makes the show a long sit!
e. m.
Beautiful venue with lots if character. Comfortable seating and good views.
J. H.
Brilliant venue!! Had really good seats when we went to see Mo Gilligan
C. C.
Really lovely venue, perfect size.
S. P.
Well run and easy to get in and out of... Only cristisim would be more staff on pre ordeded drinks.. The comedian was very good and could here it very well with helpful staff.
S. B.
Watch out for the long ques to buy refreshments especially in the interval was problematic. Otherwise a large and spacious venue.
D. B.
Excellent venue. Great views and quite intimate for its size.
S. W.
Really good venue loved it
S. K.
Dome back open for concerts, saw manic street preachers fantastic night out,had temperature check before allowed entry,&confirmation of covid vaccines or negative covid test, staff very organised, run very smoothly.
A. G.
Great venue for comedy show , we saw Stewart Lee, good visibly from circle and good acoustics, lots of character and the bars coped pretty well even for a sell out concert but toilets had a bit of a Q .NCP car park just a hundred or so yards away - you can get cheap deals after 5pm- and lots of eating options just outside. Perfect venue.
E. R.
Lovely venue, 1st time here and won't be our last. Well worth the trip down from London!
C. L.
Very Good And Helpful Staff
A. B.
Brighton Dome is a beautiful building with a fantastic concert hall. The staff are always very welcoming, friendly and helpful, which adds to the enjoyment of any event. The concert hall itself is a wonderful intimate space in which the visitor can feel part of a performance, not detached like other venues and their are few areas (If any!) where one's view is restricted. Last night at the Wendy James/Psychedelic Furs gig was absolutely brilliant! Brighton Dome is definitely my favourite performance space.
J. K.
Such a beautiful venue for live performances. My 1st time there, but certainly not my last. Attended a Marillion gig here earlier this week, & they sounded amazing. Lovely intimate size where every seat has a good view, due to the circular layout in the dome.
G. S.
Great venue, always a good atmosphere whether it's popular music or an orchestral concert. Only downside is that maybe the seats are due for refurbishment or replacement - can notice them a bit during the course of a show.
r. w.
Great show great venue friendly and helpful staff xx
S. W.
Pretty eclectic mix of display pieces, looking back through Brighton's history. But the Bowie photograph exhibition was the icing on the cake. Loved it :-)
J. C.
Beautiful venue, great for acoustics. My experience here was wonderful.
C. H.
Great venue but big wait for the bar.
G. T.
My favourite music venue. Always a great experience. I loved Jethro Tull too
M. L.
Haven't been to a gig at the Dome for years and I'd forgotten what a great venue it is. I saw Suede there tonight and it was fantastic. The size is just right, small enough to still feel intimate, but big enough to have a good atmosphere. The acoustics are good and the sound is excellent. The bar is good with reasonable prices and efficient staff. A large car park is less than a hundred metres away and you can park all night for £6.50.
I can't recommend the Dome highly enough, a great place to see a gig.

L. M.
Great venue. Layout thoughtfully designed, the place has a premium feel to it. Great acoustics inside the main performance hall. Very large bar area with speaker announcements advising when the band/performer is about to come on stage.
J.
Went to this venue to see Apocalyptica! Great location, very friendly staff, bar had a great selection of beers and other drinks
B. L.
Lovely place and staff but their beer selection is rank! No Guinness (even in cans) and no standard lager (only Hepworth Blonde which has too strong a 'bitter like' taste)
Go to the Black Horse opposite for the interval- cheap drinks!
K. S.
Saw James Acaster at the Brighton Dome which was a great venue. Very welcoming and open. My partner and I sat in row G in the circle numbers 50 & 49 and we had a perfect view of James, very pleased with the seating. Staff were all very friendly. Little tip as the ladies can get quite busy on the ground floor, if you go on the first floor where you enter the circle there's more there which are not so busy before a show.
T. L.
Wonderful theatre with stacks of character, beautiful decor and good acoustics. I'm 6'2 and the leg room is about the limit of comfortable for me but otherwise the seating is good and views are excellent from everywhere I've sat.
D. T.
Loved the Dome. Beautiful venue for music events. Very welcoming staff and well laid out design.
I. M.
A concert hall with real character and a lovely atmosphere, good sight lines and a great acoustic. The foyer and bar space are also large and interesting. Altogether, a good experience every time I visit.
M. W.
Very cool standing outside the building because I'm broke.
T. C.
The building is beautiful and has loads of history. It's had various uses in the past.
The 2 concerts I have seen there have been brilliant, but it's all let down by the seating.
On the stalls to the side there is only 1 exit/entrance to get to your seat, so if you have mobility issues and get a seat on the far left or right of the stall, you have to ask people to stand and shuffle past them. This to some is not a problem, but is something to be made aware of. I'm not sure what it's like in other areas, as sat at the front the time before.
The staff are friendly, helpful and kind and can't fault them.
S. G.
Fantastic venue, brilliant staff really friendly and helpful, comfortable seating and lovely venue overall. Great location for local restaurants and bars. The views of the stage looked like they were good all round.
E. P.
Lovely space. Great view even from restricted seat. Would be better if late comers were held back from interrupting our view and experience. Had to get up 4 times in the first 15 minutes of the performance.
R. P.
Love the wonderful architecture of the palace. Looks stunning, especially in the evenings when it's lit up.
In addition to my graduation, I've been to several concerts (soft rock to heavy metal) and the acoustics have been amazing each time. Well worth traveling here to catch a show even if there's another show closer to me in London.
N. T.
Great atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff-beautiful venue too.
A. K.
Very intimate place. The auditorium is quite small regarding what I expected. The bars outside has a very small selection of food, but it is commendable that they had diary free alternatives to drink and also the taste of the hot chocolate was wonderful!
P. J.
Excellent night out at Live is Alive. Very well managed by friendly and helpful staff team. Bands were superb. Not a bad intro to the new normal.
T. D.
Prices for drinks are very decent, clean and the seats were very comfy.
J. D.
There are amazing places, there are glorious venues and there are rarely historical, amazing, glorious venues.
Brighton Dome is one of those rarer than rare places indeed
P. B.
Excellent venue with a cosy feel although a large theatre. Great architecture and impressed with the ceramic walls in the entrance hall. They dont RIP you off with food and drink prices although obviously on the high side. Definitely will keep a look out for future performances there.
T. O.
Great to see Nina Conti at the Dome Brighton, great venue.
K. B.
Always atmospheric. Staff are friendly and professional. Always a good experience.
S. L.
Fantastic venue! Great theatre and sound. Good facilities. Excellent staff and plenty of them. Really impressed with that.
S. T.
Stunning old venue, a great space to see shows, talks or stand up. Nice bar area with good beer and wine selection. They even have free chilled water rather than robbing you for bottles of the stuff.
C. T.
What a fantastic venue!
Can't wait to go again!!
A. J.
Mo Gilligan was so good, I ached from laughing, venue was nice and clean, bar prices not too bad, only complaint was the lack of toilet paper in the ladies,
S. T.
Great old school concert venue.
H. P.
Easy layout. Intimate venue feel even though its a good size. Needs a bit more thought at exit times... The bottle necks after shows could be eased with some slight planning.
C. W.
I absolutely love coming here for gigs and TEDx Brighton. Such a beautiful building and staff are always helpful. If you have a seat upstairs, make sure you wear layers as it can get really, really warm up there!
A.
Beautiful building in central Brighton. Right next to the Royal Pavilion so you can't miss it.
Went to see Ludovico Einaudi here. Seats were really comfortable and felt like there was enough space for everyone.
Acoustics are really good too so well worth going to see events here.
c. p.
A lovely looking venue. I personally found it very frustrating having to queue for ages for the loos, and the bar was too crowded to get a drink. It took a long time to leave the venue too. All of which detracted from the experience. On the plus side, Stewart Lee was brilliant as always.
P. B.
Always love the dome, great venue, wide diversity of acts and performances
K. M.
Love this place for live music..♥️
T. H.
Excellent venue, sympathetically converted Foyer. Comfortable theatre seating with good leg room. Has a lovely atmosphere about it. Good variety of events throughout the year. Foyer could do with more seating for those who arrive early. WATCH OUT - Brighton recently increased parking charges so it's likely to cost you £30 for a 3 hours or so. Could put us off going so frequently now.
A. D.
Really excellent venue, very considerate and organised to cope with covid protection. Well worth seeing anything here
N. C.
Looking for an epic wedding venue?. Plenty of photo opportunities and the staff are super friendly. As a Brighton wedding videographer I love this venue. Worth a look for sure if you are looking for a venue in this area
N. M.
I've been to loads of concerts here now and I can tell you as a disabled person who uses a powered wheelchair, that this place is great! Staff are really lovely and have never caused me any problems. Sadly when you are put into an accessible spot it is quite far back from the stage but I'm sure if you ask nicely they can put you into a more appropriate spot.
L.
Great venue, friendly staff
L. M.
Never visited such a relaxed venue. We were told to sit wherever we liked as it'd become unreserved seating since booking our tkts. Staff very helpful & venue is AMAZINGLY architectural. Great acoustics too. Easily accessed for disabilities. Lovely bar area & great toilet blocks.
B. F.
Great venue, very clean. Awesome event
D. H.
Comfortable and easy access, great view from my seat. I will be coming back!
S. R.
Great atmosphere and great view of acts on stage. Not too large auditorium so nice intimate atmosphere. Good bar open before start of performance and during interval. Also ticket prices very reasonable. To make a complete evening some good restaurants or pubs very near by and one immediately opposite. There's also an NCP carpark quite near but a little pricey at £6 for the evening.
T. H.
Whether it's comedy or music this space is phenomenal. Great bars, good supportive staff- I once had a coughing fit as my asthma kicked off and they were there to offer help instantly- but not too keen on the booking fee
S. t. I.
I've been to lots of gigs in Brighton and this is definitely my favourite venue. It's always a treat getting to go into the Dome and see the beautiful decor up close as the architecture only gets more and more stunning the more I see it. Shows are great too!
C. S.
Beautiful venue oozing history. I have enjoyed every trip to the Dome. From the friendly staff to the wide selection of refreshments, you can tell that they value their customers. Lots of soft drinks and non alcoholic beer as well as a fine selection of ale beer wine and cider. The toilets have never been crazy busy with long queues when I have been there, whether it be a comedy night or a rock gig. Highly recommended, oh and they are a charity so if you enjoyed your evening why not make a small donation to help ensure it stays open.
B. W.
Great venue. Bar is too pricey though.
S. H.
Lovely venue with lots of attentive gigs and shows. A little tip in the interview the bar gets busy and the stuff can be slow, so pop outside and enjoy the drink and toilet break in one of the surrounding pubs.
J. S.
I'm not sure there's a bad seat in the house, it's always a joy to see anything at the Dome. The only downside are the queues for the ladies loos and the hot drinks during intermissions (interminable), but they're not worth docking a star. Great venue :)
A. C.
I saw Flaming Lips here and it was an incredible show. The venue itself is pretty stunning and the show was awe-inspiring! There was so much confetti. The staff were helpful and the bar staff were fairly prompt. Overall an awesome night!
W. H.
Great venue fantastic music (Afro Celt Sound System ) the in house sound system sounded really nice. Down sides are the plastic cups in the bar are wasteful and don't help you feel a sense of occasion and more importantly the wine (pinot grigio) was honestly so bad my through it way rather than drinking it.
L. C.
Venue staff and security were faultless for the show I went to. Friendly, approachable and always helpful
A. F.
Wow, what a venue, and Shed 7 were on fire!!!
s.
I don't think I've ever been here and had a bad view, you can always see the stage. Can get a little warm other than that, nothing bad to say really. Good all round venue.
R. P.
We watched Romesh here and I found it a lovely venue. Being a smaller arena it meant that wherever you sat you had a good view of the stage. My only critisicm was leg room as I sat Centre Circle (seat 30) and at 6'2" and size 13 feet I found the legroom very tight with my knees pressed against the chair in front causing discomfort towards the end. Other than this I liked the jugs of free ice water by the bar as I was driving and the toilets were clean and easily accessible.
W. H.
What a fabulous venue. Currently being refurbished, so I'm sure it'll be even more fabulous when the work is complete.
A great mix of events and performers, so make sure you regularly check out what's on.
Very highly recommended.
C. C.
A good venue for shows. Although when exiting it seems to forever, I wouldn't want to be in there if a fire broke out. Most annoying though are the toilets, for a venue such as this that experiences surged to the bathrooms they are terrible!
J. E.
Enjoyed the Fish at the Dome. Plenty of covid safety was in place. Everyone checked before entering. A good evening.
J. H.
The security and staff were helpful and accommodating. The covid safety measures are meticulously applied in order to host live events for the public as soon as possible. I highly enjoyed the show I went to in tandem with the arts Festival and can't think of any reason not to give the venue a five star rating.
D. H.
Love The Dome. Good size venue for shows, great acoustics and good seating. Wheelchair friendly, very helpful staff. The bar is limited but they stock the basics and a coffee bar.
S. B.
Such a fantastic venue . Really great acoustics. Very friendly staff & great atmosphere. My favourite place by far to see a music act
A. M.
A fabulous venue for literally anything. Craft fairs, gigs, comedy and graduation.
Seats keep you comfortable until the intermission. a full 3 hour gig and be prepared for a numb bum.
The sink in gents toilets often gets mistaken forms urinal. just thought I'd warn you.
F. C. (. P. L.
I visited the Dome for the first time in February to see Erasure. The concert arena is bloody lovely!!! Great acoustics!
Nice that the wine is NOT ridiculously overpriced - very reasonable and super friendly staff.
P. H.
Drinks range is okay (No Guiness though). Standard price for venue beers (£4.30). Staff are friendly and as a venue was perfect for a stand up performance. Close to decent local pubs and places to eat
A. L.
Have to say, beautiful venue (certainly more upmarket than Brixton Academy), the layout is thoughtfully designed allowing for great performances to be see no matter where you sit! The last time I went here was to attend Brighton Music Conference, and has a blast!
a. s.
If they could just sort out the bar service!
M. C.
Saw Miriam Margolyes and Jo Brand, excellent venue !
K. N.
Great venue. Watched the Banff film festival there and it was great
D. H.
Uncomfortable seating, even by Theatre standards. Long bar queues. Poor restrooms.
Not a great venue by any stretch of the imagination - yes, it's a historical building, and yes the main point of going is the show itself, but very poor use of the considerable lobby area.
P. O.
A very special venue. A wonderful atmosphere.
L. A. S.
Very easy queuing to show tickets and Jabs. Great show too Rob Broydon and a wonderful 8 piece band.
R. B.
Brilliant show at a super venue.
C. S.
Really good venue, great staff, excellent bar and plenty of room for audience to move around before and during event. For ONCE, plenty of ladies loos, clean and modern ones too! Bravo Brighton Dome!
c. t.
Grate evening entertainment.
Let's Dance
C. W.
Awesome venue, first concert (Benjamin Clementine) in Brighton I'd been too. Great acoustics and it's the right size where everyone gets a decent view.
V. W.
Lovely venue, well managed entrance checks. Very few mask wearers, staff all masked.
J. s.
Great venue with a good selection of artists. Keep an eye out for the backstage tours which are available once or twice a year. Bowie and ABBA fans maybe interested!
d. e.
Well done. Really enjoyed it.
M. B.
Excellent music venue, good acoustic and nice bars. Central location, easily accessible by public transport. Would not recommend driving in, the roads nearby are all being dug up!
S. J. B.
Philharmonia orchestra brought me to tears
C. J.
Great venue. Friendly staff and good stage
M. M.
Wonderful venue. creates an intimate atmosphere but holds a good capacity. Historic building part of the Royal Pavillion well worth a look round whether seeing a show or not.
J. W.
Great venue for live music and comedy - actually incorporates three more venues on top of the main one. Only slight gripe - you should list the corn exchange as a separate venue, otherwise it's very hard to find on Google maps for someone who doesn't know it / Brighton.
N. H.
Great atmosphere for a gig.
N. J.
Love the Brighton Dome! I'm a big stand up comedy fan and it's my go to venue to see some of the biggest stars, Dara O'Briain, Rhod Gilbert, Kevin Bridges and more! Comfortable seats and close to reasonably priced parking, just a 2 minute walk up the street.
N. F.
Always a pleasure to see a show at the Dome. It's just the right the right size, that particular area to get big artists and intimacy to appreciate them fully. A top venue with a good bars with fast service for a pre show swifty. Parking is a bit of a nightmare, you need to use local car parks.
D. G.
Fantastic show and fascinating building. Great details across the venue! Friendly staff and comfortable seats! Gorgeous architecturally! Eddie Izard’s show was just amazing!
H. J.
Great bar and waiting space before show with plenty of staff so buying drinks doesn't take ages. Stage and seating were all in good condition. Overall a great show experience.
S. G.
Love this place as a venue, however can't believe how many people turn up to shows & talk loudly all the way through! Personally I pay to watch a show & not use it as a pub! 🙄
M. L.
Good venue, wonderful variety of entertainment and seating.
Never been before but impressed with bars, staff and programming.
Worth a visit and surrounded by Brighton nightlife.
J. P.
I love the Dome. It used to be the Prince Regent's stables. Abba won Eurovision here. Pink Floyd played Dark Side of the Moon. What a heritage! The bars can get a bit crowded, but sight lines are good and the historical surroundings a pleasure.
F. l.
Great venue in the heart of Brighton. I saw a live band here. The acoustics are great and the sight lines are good. The bar is standard Brighton prices. The staff are polite and helpful
S. C.
Went to see Skunk Anansie who came here from the Brighton Centre. Staff dealt with multiple ticketing systems professionally and handled acucessibility needs with sensitivity and aplomb. Gig was amazing and impressed by how smoothly issues were handled. Well done!
B. S.
Always enjoy the Brighton Dome, lovely venue with polite staff ☺
s.
Love this venue, stalls or circle, both fab
T. F.
Love the history of this venue and it's iconic building
a. d.
Nice building but always seem to get long queues for drinks before any show, so get there a little early if you are thirsty. The bar staff are inefficient and the beer can be warm...
A. S.
Beautiful historic venue. Amazing acoustics
D.
Excellent venue. We’ve come here a couple of times for Christmas Queen’s and Dave Gorman and both times the staff have been super helpful and very accommodating to my girlfriend whose in a wheelchair. The ice cream is good too.
J. C.
Fabulous building and a great show by Romesh Ranganathan
D. B.
Really good medium sized venue for music. Good atmosphere and bar. Versatile so seats can be taken out of middle allowing for dancing !
T. N. (.
Nice venue let down by stall seats which are not comfortable.
M. G.
Brilliant venue. Clean and good service. Anne Marie and Lennon Stella were fab.
R. H.
Took my daughter to see Dan and Phil Tour and the Dome was an OK venue for this type of act. The location was good for local shops restaurants and attractions. Just a short walk for reasonably good parking. Parking is expensive in Brighton.
N. J.
I've never been here sober, but loved it everytime I've been here. Possibly helped by the gig I've come to see. Highly recommended drunk. Would be unfair of me to comment on the venue from a sober capacity.
P. W.
Thank you to all the staff at the Dome for hosting our National AGM. We were told there were more than 1,000 ladies present and our Patron, The Princess Royal.
Movement around the building was good and facilities sufficient. The sound system worked and we were not deafened by electrical noises. It was a successful day.
R. F.
I always like coming to Brighton Dome. It's cozy and has a bit of personal atmosphere compared to the likes of big O2 theatre. They have excellent shows and the comedy month has to be booked a year in advance. A lesson I just learned.
G. H.
Great venue for gigs. Lots of seating.
R. J.
A great attraction in Brighton, definitely worth a tour
A. J.
I really enjoyed seeing Jethro Tull there. Well organized venue.
T. O.
Great sounding venue. One of the best
D. O.
A great spacious venue in neat area of Brighton.
G. G.
Fantastic venue with a brilliant atmosphere
L. a. S. H.
Great venue for an "evening with"
M. T.
Fantastic local venue.
S. A. F.
Loved the new decoration. Very well organised event despite all the COVID precautions.
C. S.
Intimate setting very enjoyable
S. J.
Brighton is spoiled by its array of establishments for viewing some great entertainment. Of its larger venues, the former stables for the Brighton Pavilion is my favourite. Seats are comfortable, you are informed of the seats with a slightly restricted view and there is plenty of bar frontage so the wait for refreshment isn't usually too long.
J.
A Wonderful experience. The seating was comfortable, with good leg room. Acoustics were great. Service at the bar was very good, with staff polite, friendly and helpful.
C. G.
Great intimate venue.
p. a.
Went to see Gary Numan, although the gig was OK it was slightly ruined by the not so good sound quality, yes I like loud music but at times it was just a wall of noise and you could hardly hear the lyrics. So maybe just turn it down a bit so we can enjoy it just that bit more
T. M.
Good views where ever you sit
T. O.
My favourite venue in Brighton for music and comedy gigs. The acoustics are amazing, wherever you seated / standing you can always hear and see what's happening on stage. Which can't be said for the other popular venues in Brighton (as they either have pillars obstructing ur view or the poor sound if ur not facing the stage)
C. J.
Beautiful building, wonderful accoustic. Top class live performance of every kind. I’m there a few times a month given a chance!
D. M.
Great architecture. So much green and flowers.
H. L.
Great venue for concerts
M. J.
A great venue, historic (used to be the Prince Regent's riding stables) and always good sound irrespective of who is performing there. A favourite of ours!
D.
Went to watch Jonathan Pie who was AWESOME! The venue is ok, dated and you wouldn't want to spend ages in there. There is a bar and coffee shop, both ok but nothing special.
H.
Absolutely excellent, efficient and helpful staff, great venue, great performances.
A. M.
Great venue. Comfy staggered seating with plenty of legroom and good view of stage. Very helpful staff. Free water jugs at bar. 😊
E. S. D.
Was very good but I would have felt more comfortable if wearing masks inside was mandatory
T. J.
Good show, Rob Brydon in a charming setting. Proof of vaccination was required and plenty of anti bac hand sanitiser around
F.
Great venue, well organised, interesting calendar of events.
C. H.
The Dome Concert Hall is a great venue, better than many of the others we've seen shows at. I love the restoration of this great building and we the found staff and facilities were a great asset to the theatre
n. e.
Outstanding venue. Covid safety fantastically organised. Those responsible deserve the highest aknowledgement
P. F.
The Brighton Dome is a stunning venue and incredibly versatile. We've seen concerts, ballets, bands and children theatre here and they were all breathtaking! We'll be returning time and time again, as I'm sure will my children.
J. H.
Very nice venue. Always a good atmosphere and very good bar. Feels and sounds much better than some bigger venues.
D. R. L.
Great venue. Second time I have been here to attend Brighton Music Conference. Good location and nice airy rooms. The bar is a great place to network!
M. H.
Best Brighton venue for acoustics; Bon Iver sounded incredible here a few years back, and GY!BE were able to use the ample stage for their video-heavy live show. Comfortable seating and good visibility throughout.
m. r.
Staff were very polite and helpful. Car park very near great day out.
J. F.
Sunday 15th march 2020 and my first visit to Brighton dome to watch Jon Hopkins.
The building is beautiful and staff were very friendly.
Was a epic night of all proportions
C. G.
Fabulous venue to match a brilliant New Years eve concert. The Brighton Philharmonic Orchestra were magnificent! Clive
A. G.
Really impressed with it as a concert venue. The building is really beautiful with lovely details. The bar was spacious and clean with a nice modern feel that complements the historic setting. Recommended.
B. N.
I've been using there pool and spa and I can see its worth being a member
D. B.
This is such a great venue for a show or gig. Wherever you sit you get a decent view. Large, but intimate at the same time. Perfect.
D. N.
Brilliant concert. Dome adhered to c19 rules but need more loos!
S. W.
Gorgeous building to visit. Access to it's history easily available on touch screen located on the coffe shop. We were there to hear Herby Flowers and friends/combo. I went with very little experience of listening to jazz music, but was blown away by the performance. I knew I had just witnessed/experienced world class players share thier talent and love of thier music with love and wit. Herby will be performing regularly over the next few months - I'd recommend any one to go along and enjoy a jazz breakfast.
M. s.
Wonderful venue for standing however extremely long waits at the bar.
R. C.
Old but nicely laid out theatre. Good unobstructed views of stage from the lower stalls. Toilet and refreshment facilities are good. 15 minute walk to station and 5 minute walk to multi-story carpark.
H. O. C.
Fabulous venue, sound and staff were to match. Great experience when we went to see skunk anansie. Will be looking out for more gigs here.
C. P.
Great venue, lots of character and beautiful architecture.
D. P.
Great venue
Great showman.
N. L.
Very well organised , clean and a particular young woman at the bar actually helped me with my drinks for my family - carried them right round to the auditorium- above and beyond.
J. P.
Nice venue easy to fine and good seating - terrible bag / cloakroom drop off organisation. Just some bloke standing near the entrance with a big pile of other peoples property.
J. W. W.
saw jimmy carr great show, very well run place staff were 100%.
A. H.
Such a great way going venue with a huge variety of entertainment and friendly door staff and bar staff and just a relaxing atmosphere.... And what a great gig from Jake Bugg!!!
A. S.
Visited the Brighton Dome for the first time a few days ago to see Michael McIntyre, have returned tonight to see Dave Gorman. Lovely place, very helpful staff, seems like there is a good view all around wherever you sit.
Seems there is quite a history to replace so will do some research into it.
Bar prices little high and not a great deal of choice which would take it up to a five star.
In all I'm glad that it can attract the bigger acts and long may it keep going.
J. A.
Have come there several times for the Brighton Mini Maker Faire. Every time I have had a great experience. The building is a lovely thing to see, and it's great to know that it is still in use. The facilities are well kept. I have, however, only seen a small part of the Brighton Dome, so there is still lots more for me to see.
F. P.
So happy to be back here for concerts. Very well organised and distancing observed
S. I.
Beautiful place. Visited a vegan festival which was small but interesting.
J. C.
Always love visiting the Brighton Dome. Period entertainment venue in the heart of Brighton. Next to the Corn Exchange and a short distance from the Royal Pavilion. Close to railway station and car parks. Good bus access.
F. C.
Great venue. Friendly, efficient staff.
J. K.
Great talk show and love the venue
M. t.
The staff is helpful and friendly. Seen a concert in the Hall, the view was great from our seats. The acoustics seemed good too.
S. G.
Some rooms on the ground floor are nice but I did find the upper level a bit meh. Nothing too, too special overall. The garden is beautiful in spring though.
M. H.
Went to watch Dermot Kennedy, he was absolutely amazing. Really disappointed we did not get to keep our tickets as a memento, I was told we could collect them at the end of the show, but there was noone about?
A.
Friendly staff. Lovely space.
J. K.
Thoroughly enjoyed our visit.
J. H.
Great venue. Not too big not too small. Slight rake to floor and balconies so visibility good.
C. D.
Great Regency (??) style venue - relaxed, good view of the stage (we were there to see Gomez.) Definitely going back.
S. G.
A great venue with amazing staff that are happy to help with anything. Had a fantastic night, the event couldn't possibly have been any better!
M. M.
Great venue in the centre of Brighton.
This place has special memories for me because it's where my partner and I went on our first date, two happy years ago.
W. K.
Fantastic if you get to go to anything at brighton dome just do it.
You.ll have an amazing time
A. O.
I really like this venue. The atmosphere and sound are spot on. The facilities are excellent. I would recommend attending an event at the Dome.
E. v. A.
What a cool, historic venue. Large enough yet still intimate. Great accoustics. One of the best live gigs I've ever been to
J. R.
A great venue to see a band play! Very organised, good bar and relatively comfortable seats - what more could you want?
D. G.
Attended a podcast show here, great venue with good all round view of the stage. Lovely pre show bar/coffee shop too and great location in Brighton
T. W.
Saw Eddie Izzard here and was outstanding! Venue is cozy and you're never too far for the stage.
Great offering for beer and coffee a like and inclusive toilets is a amazing to see
C. J.
It was good. We attended on the day they were celebrating black history month so it was nice to see all the planned activities and have the possibility to have a wander around the museum.
E. H.
Beautiful building, a really nice size, good view of the stage from pretty much anywhere. Been here a few times now and would highly recommend to others
A. S.
I have always loved this theatre. The building is so beautiful, the bar is spacious and a great place to sit and chat, and when I can afford to go to a show here it rarely disappoints 😊
j. p.
Great venue, practicing good Covid steps.
A. B. G.
A brilliant atmosphere, such a brilliant venue.
r. b.
Seats are to close in the rows to sit down in if you are tall
S. c.
A great venue to take in a show, musical or recital. I'm lucky enough to have performed here myself three times and always has its own charm.
S. L.
Exceptionally helpful and friendly staff. Free jugs of water available to help yourself to during a gig. You are always close to the stage in this beautifully restored venue.

Saw archaeology exhibition of local sites and superbly laid out with great access to skeletons and historical detail - have known about Brighton's long history but great to see it up close. Would recommend and pair it with some googling

I really like this venue. The atmosphere and sound are spot on. The facilities are excellent. I would recommend attending an event at the Dome.

A wonderfull concert, which I fully enjoyed. What bathered me was that people long after the start of the concert, even in the 3rd and 4th song came in and could join the concert. Very disturbing! Let them wait to join in the second part after the break! I'm certain they will be in time for their next concert!

Visited dome to watch Sarah Millian; it's a old theatre which gives it that extra touch. Seats are not that comfortable but for what it is, is nothing. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and the dome is beautiful x

Lovely, charming venue. Dedicated and knowledgeable staff. Not a perfect programme, but still a great selection of shows for all audiences.

Last went to the Brighton Dome in May to see Bastille. It was incredible and even though we had to get seated tickets, not standing (which was what we ideally would have liked), it was easy to see the band perform and the view was amazing

Nice and compact arena and you can actually be sort of close to the performer, it seems. Easy access and refreshments are available here.
