Yesterday we threw a 3rd birthday party for our son and twenty of his nursery friends. Last year we didn’t get to celebrate so we wanted to make this extra special! Deborah was recommended by a friend and she was absolutely fantastic. Punctual, enthusiastic and dressed in multicoloured dungarees, she made a great first impression and then we were absolutely bowled over by her face painting skills. We had a superhero fancy dress theme so lots of the children had Spider-Man but Deborah was able to do whatever each child asked for, from rainbow unicorns to dogs. All the children and parents were really happy with the final look and my son had the best time. I will be recommending Deborah to all my friends.

What can I say! But if you are looking for someone to carry out Face Painting for your children, or for a Balloon Artist to engage and excite your child's imagination look no further you've found all you need from TICK BOOM. Both Deborah the face painter, and Shelley the balloon artist were both amazing, and the interaction with all the children at our Maddie's birthday party was just incredible, and the atmosphere was electric from start to finish. I cannot thank them enough for making our 6 year old a very happy little lady on her very special day. Thank you Ladies for a great job well done! And all your hard work on the day to say the least. We used Tick Boom Face Painting for my daughter's garden party. I contacted Deborah who was so lovely and professional. Angela was spectacular. She was able to mobilise the majority of the guests, (including both adults and children) to get their face painted. She is very talented and incredibly efficient! We had about 130 guests at the party and she probably painted 70% of them. It was lovely to see a queue being formed after her first "customer". It certainly was one of the main discussion points of the party. It put a smile on everyone and the children were so excited. We initially booked for a few hours but because it went down so so so well, she ended up staying for an extra 2 hours!!! Don't search any further use this company! They will NOT disappoint you.

As soon as she arrived, Hannah threw herself into helping us with the preparations for the Jubilee Street Party, even though face painting was not yet due to start ! Once open, the kids just loved her and her "creations" were superb. She was over-run with faces to paint, but she never complained and just kept smiling and painting. Communication with Deborah from the outset was excellent. She arrives early to ensure the birthday girl was done prior to her friends arriving. Deborah was friendly and professional throughout, but it was her artistry and detail which were the standout points. Every single person present commented on how amazing the face painting was and she even convinced a 6 year old who was 'too cool for school' to have his arm done with Sonic, when he didn't want his face done. I cannot recommend Deborah and her service highly enough, she didn't reach our expectations - she exceeded them. We will definitely use her again and recommend her to anyone who will listen! Deborah was amazing!! She made my son (birthday boy) feel comfortable and so excited to get his face painted and all his friends loved their face painting too. My youngest son (3 years old) felt a little scared getting his face painted so Deborah suggested doing a little design in his hand which he absolutely loved and came back to do his other hand. Deborah and Caroline were absolutely fantastic at St Barnabas hospice flagship event, Night to Remember, they arrived on time with big smiles and looking vibrant. I can’t recommend tickboom face painting enough, they were absolutely amazing at my daughters 5th birthday party. After waiting 2 years because of Covid we wanted to make her party extra special and having Caroline there to make the children sparkle with incredible face painting really made it so. All the parents were amazed at what she was able to do in such a short space of time, I’m just envious I didn’t get it done!! The only negative was having to wipe it off at the end of the day! Caroline was so friendly and warm with the children, I will definitely be booking them again, thank you so much for making the party as magical as it was.
