I had a fantastic experience with Laura @ the Bristol Bridal Boutique. Arranging an appointment was very easy and flexible. She had a gorgeous selection of dresses and made me feel very comfortable trying these on and offering advice on styles, fit and accessories. Her back garden studio was such a nice and relaxed setting for trying on dresses. Would highly recommend!

I was really nervous about going to bridal boutiques as I am young and my mom was back in America when I was looking for a dress. While I was looking for wedding dress stores online, I stumbled across the diamond that is Bristol Bridal Boutique. I am getting married pretty short notice, so, after looking through the website and seeing the gorgeous dresses on display, I quickly booked an appointment. When I arrived, Laura greeted me with a smile and made me feel at ease instantly! I had previously been pretty nervous that I'd feel self-conscious when trying on the dresses (and this was my first time trying on any wedding dress) but Laura's kind and comforting nature quickly diminished that fear. Her patience and genuine feedback was endlessly helpful - and I really did feel comfortable and relaxed with Laura's guidance and help. I personally feel as if this experience was far better than one I'd have in a large bridal store as it was much more personal and special. The dresses are even more gorgeous in person - and they are truly one of a kind. I fell in love with the first dress I tried on and later ended up purchasing that exact dress and taking it home the same day! I had a fantastic experience at Bristol Bridal Boutique and would recommend it to any future bride! I had spent the morning at a formal wedding dress shop trying on various styles so I had a pretty good idea of what I wanted before arriving. Laura immediately made me feel relaxed and I felt much more comfortable in her setting. My mum, sister and I were free to look around at the dresses and I immediately saw one that caught my eye. It turned out to be the One! Laura was happy for me to try on several and come back to the dress that I loved, I didn't feel rushed or pressured into buying. I recently purchased a dress from Bristol Bridal and it was a lovely experience start to finish. Laura was so warm, friendly and helpful. She has created a wonderful relaxed environment in her beautiful studio where myself and my mother didn’t feel rushed or pressured at all. Calling all Brides to be! If like me, you felt very strongly about not wanting to spend thousands on a dress - but don't want to compromise on quality and style - then stop looking and book in with Laura who owns Bristol Bridal Boutique. I'm not even sure how I can write about my experience in short and concise way, but I'll try. I was really sad that I wasn't going to get the "wedding dress boutique experience" as I was adamant that I wasn't going to spend thousands on a dress for just one day. I went to a sample boutique in London and it was pretty awful, in a big shed with racks and racks of ugly dresses and I was no closer to really understanding my style and it was a really rushed experience with no advice. I then went to a high street wedding shop and although the girls there were super helpful and knowledgable, the dress quality was pretty poor! Then a friend recommended Laura, and from the first contact I had a good feeling, she was warm and cheerful and was really helpful with letting me know what to expect and how it all works. When we arrived, she showed her face before we all put our masks on which was a lovely touch, then we went out to her studio in her garden. The studio is stylish, modern, clean, and beautiful - with just the right amount of dresses - enough to feel hopeful but not too many to feel overwhelmed. I had an idea of what I wanted but when I was trying them none were feeling quite right. Laura asked really insightful questions that made me understand what I was feeling and why the dresses so far weren't ticking my boxes - like a process of elimination - structured. I found "The One' and I cried, my mum cried, and even Laura welled up - it was a very very special moment and I felt completely understood and heard by Laura. Even if I hadn't found my dress I would still recommend as it was such a perfect experience that I didn't think I'd be lucky enough to have with my budget. Thank you Laura, you are a natural, and in a gloomy year you added some warmth and sparkle and I'm so grateful for that recommendation - I couldn't be happier. Now let's just hope Boris lets me wear it :) I'll add a photo once I've worn it!

I visited Laura at Bristol Bridal Boutique and had a wonderful experience choosing my wedding dress. From start to finish Laura put me totally at ease within her beautiful little garden studio. She has patience in abundance, and actually picked out the perfect dress for me (one I hadn't even considered!) having listened to my thoughts and reading my emotions. There are so many beautiful, special dresses, carefully selected and very reasonably priced - it would be tempting to buy an evening dress too, given the price of the day gown! 110% recommend Laura and her Bristol Bridal Boutique.

I would highly recommend visiting Laura at her studio, she has a range of beautiful designer dresses, all heavily discounted. Her studio is at the rear of her garden and is a nice private space to try on dresses. I ended up not purchasing a dress from Laura but found her to be really friendly and very responsive with emails. She is worth a visit if you are looking for a designer dress but are on a budget.

After a few trips to high street bridal shops, some with entrance fees and price tags beyond what I was comfortable with, I realised I wanted something different. My Mum stumbled across Laura's boutique online and made the appointment with ease for me and we went to see Laura together. Laura was helpful friendly and professional from the outset. Although I hadn't seen any one particular stand out dress for me on the website I could she had a good range of styles on offer. All the dresses were neatly presented in the hugely spacious dressing room with plenty of mirrors and accessories on hand. The dresses were all wonderful and after trying on about 5 I didn't feel any were quite right. Laura reassured me I have to feel comfortable in the dress so not to worry. I was enjoying trying them on (with bubbly in hand!) in this relaxed environment she created and she suggested I keep trying others on that perhaps I hadn't considered to suit me. I did just that and we all said 'wow' at once when I put on my now dress. Although I was sure about wanting to buy it there and then, Laura was happy for me to sleep on it and not rush. I went back a few days later to collect it, all nicely presented in its case ready for me and at a great price. I felt so special in the dress and feel lucky to have found 'the one' (both dress and husband!). The best part about planning the wedding was meeting so many lovely people like Laura and I would thoroughly recommend visiting her Boutique and hope you enjoy the experience as much as both myself and my Mum did.

I visited Bristol Bridal Boutique and was really impressed by the range of designer gowns, and the prices. I can recommend it to any bride who is a good sample size (8-12) and who wants to wear an amazing designer wedding dress for at least half of the price! I found the whole experience relaxed and fun, and Laura does a great job of creating an atmosphere at her home which makes the whole experience feel like a real 'treat' - exactly how a dress appointment should be! If you want the really special bridal experience that is personalised and totally tailored then you must visit Laura at the Bristol Bridal Boutique. (You will be surprised to find out not many places provide the experience you are expecting). This is where I found my dream dress and had the opportunity to try on loads of gorgeous gowns with their own personality - not the same old standard dresses you find in every single bridal shop - and the prices are far more reasonable too. Laura was so helpful and genuinely excited for me which made the whole appointment even more special. I had an entourage of about 6 who were all taken care of with bubbles and the great service continued through to purchase and recommendations for alterations and shoes! I was so delighted with my dress which is a Jenny Packham Amata sample and even happier to have bought it from Laura. Highly highly recommend visiting her. 😊

As someone who finds traditional Bridal shops a bit daunting, I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived at Laura's home based boutique with my friend who wanted moral support whilst trying on dresses. The dresses were displayed in one of Laura's bedrooms which was a lovely relaxing informal space with a large mirror. The dresses samples and were all beautiful, not a meringue in sight - Laura has clever chosen dresses that she would personally wear meaning she loves her products and was really knowledgeable, warm and genuine. She also has a close contact with a local seamster so was able to advise about fittings and adjustments. This was supposed to be the first of a long line of 'browsing' sessions, but my friend ended up buying a gorgeous Jenny Packham dress on the spot which the seamstress expertly altered to not only fit but to slightly raise the low and slightly revealing neckline. The dress was perfect and my friend conceived on the night of her wedding so I don't think you can get a better testimony that that!!
