Reviews of Somerset Hall
S. T.Poor communication and planning when it came to a recent event that we had here. Shame as the venue is huge and brilliant for hosting a fabulous party here. Accommodating the needs we wanted to ensure our event was a success. Quite a pricey hire therefore ensure all the details and plans are finalised accordingly and second them with other liaisons for the company.
J. H.Monthly Sunday dancing, big dance floor, easy free parking, light and modern ambience
M. P.Been in a few times for local events and rapid covid tests. Very big and clean, great for a multitude of uses.
R. T.Enjoy Church is a community focused, caring, relevant expression of God's heart for Portishead. Great worship, purpose driven leadership, life enriching sermons and fabulous kids and youth programmes.
M. W.Amazing place. I've been here many times, and it never disappoints. A large clean airy hall. I have been here for theatre shows, exhibitions, dinners, dances, films, orchestral concerts, etc. Easy parking, easy access.
J. D.Childrens play Park extended since I was here, zoned for different age groups. Cafe and public toilets all open. Even the car has been extended and still free!
D. F.Very well appointed and planned meeting place for all kinds of large or smaller events. Adequate sound system lighting etc, not on a par with some very up to date halls but OK. Clean warm plenty of chairs.

A. S.Great for functions from 20 to 200 people! For smaller groups the foyer is fine. The main hall has a stage with lighting and sound facilities which is regularly used by the Portishead Players.

C. J.It's ok but it's very rarely used by the community, it is by far though the biggest hall in Portishead. Thus meaning it is a good hall for party's, indoor markets ECT.
M. K.Nice but smaller hall. A little jaded in appearance last time I was there. Plenty of events & plays held there. Has a licensed bar.
V. G.Perfect Wedding. Great fun Portishead Players. Shame the bar queue was too long to get an interval drink after a similar loo queue.
