They may be a small boutique but have a great selection of dress styles! Charlotte has lots of experience and is very knowledgeable which made the experience easy. Very friendly shop and in-house seamstress takes the stress away of finding your own. Very flexible to arrange time on alterations resulting in a dress that looks like it was made for your body. My advice if you have the time to order at least 6 months before the wedding as they do take a long time to come, they are made to order. I had lots of compliments on the dress that it was the perfect fit, it was so light, comfy to wear and good value compared to other boutique shops. Thank you Charlotte I felt amazing!

What a brilliant experience with Charlotte! Came into dress shopping not sure what to expect, and from the moment I booked an appointment with Charlotte she was giving me helpful advice for how to approach the task. Per her advice I visited larger shops beforehand to get an idea of what I liked. This allowed me to be more targeted with her smaller boutique selection - which by the way is the most beautiful collection of dresses I have ever seen! While I had no success in other shops, everything I tried on at Bridal Boutique felt amazing on me. And during our time together, Charlotte was able to give honest and encouraging guidance, and pick up on my own instincts, to lead the conversation towards what might be my perfect dress. She was kind enough to keep my preferred dress to the rest for the day, giving me the space to make a decision free from pressure. Can't recommend Charlotte and The Bridal Boutique enough! Really looking forward to working with her on alterations over the next few months. What a professional!

I had an appointment with Charlotte last weekend to find my dress for my wedding in June (last minute, I know!). I had another appointment and fell in love with a dress, but decided to visit Charlotte anyways to see if anything could beat it. She was incredibly helpful and realistic about what I would be able to get. She had one dress that she wanted me to try on, and WOW it blew the other dress out of the water! It was everything I wanted, reasonable price, didn’t need any alterations, and I could take it home same day! Highly recommend, great experience. Small but great selection.

I had the best experience shopping for my wedding dress with Charlotte. I was quite apprehensive, and had no idea what kind of dress I was looking for, but Charlotte took all of the pressure out of it and made me super comfortable, and helped my find the best dress. She had such a lot of variety and so many beautiful dresses, and was so welcoming to me and my bridal party, as well as being super knowledgeable about all things bridal wear (fit,adjustments, timescales for fittings, everything). I would definitely recommend The Bridal Boutique - Charlotte was so helpful and didn’t turn us away even though she was busy and had an appointment booked. I was able to go on looking for a wedding dress and chose a few to try on. I came away from another bridal shop feeling a little upset thinking that I would never find the right dress but on trying the second dress on, I knew it was the one even though it was a little too big for me. I visited the bridal boutique as I knew a wanted a tea length dress and was having difficulties finding any shops who had a good choice. I contacted Charlotte who was very helpful prior to my appointment. At my appointment Charlotte was extremely knowledgeable and gave me helpful advice. Before much time I found my dress it was the second one I tried one. Charlotte was able to fit for adjustments and able to book me in for my next appointment. I even found my shoes and was able to try my whole outfit on. Charlotte offered a very personal experience and I did not feel rushed within my appointment. I cannot recommend this boutique highly enough. I had a strong feeling about the type of dress that I wanted and did not think I would find a shop that would give me such variety and choice. On the day that I walked by the shop the shop was closed but Charlotte was near by and kind enough to allow me in to have a look and make an apt. So glad I did. A month later and I had a lovely apt with Charlotte and Louise who let me try on several dresses. It was a special moment and when Louise pulled out a dress I knew I was onto a winner. I recently visited Charlotte regarding alterations on my wedding dress. She was warm and welcoming and very helpful. She advised me on what would need done and referred me to a tailor. Charlotte even accompanied me to my consultation and helped me explain to the tailor exactly what I needed. This was amazing! I am not the most confident of people and really had no idea what I was looking for, so having her by my side was very reassuring and I could not be more grateful and blown away by her amazing customer service!!! The tailor I met was wonderful and I could not be more thrilled with her recommendation!! This is my first time making a Google review but I felt like I needed to. I had been to and messaged multiple bridal shops but they were all so pushed for time which made me feel pressured to make a decision. I would highly recommend this boutique. I purchased my dress here in 2020 and was thoroughly impressed with the customer service and overall experience. Louise the lady that helped me find my dream dress was knowledgeable, patient and very welcoming. Fast forward through 2 x postponements, plus a lockdown baby and my once perfect dress no longer fitted. What i assumed was a frantic search for a new dress, although deflated (and embarrassed) i sucked up my pride and went to the boutique again. Charlotte has been amazing. Not only can my dress be altered, with 3 weeks to my wedding, Charlotte has bent over backwards and rearranged her diary to ensure my dress is ready and refitted in time for my wedding. The Bridal Boutique was the first wedding dress shopping I had ever done. I was nervous and anxious as it was all quite new and daunting. When I came in, unsure of what to do, Charlotte gave me some advise on where to start. She was open and honest and suggested trying other dress stores to gain an understanding of what I might like and to have the typical trying on experience you see on the tv. This showed me how genuine she is and made me feel that she’s in this for the right reasons. She explained that she sells quirky dresses and I instantly understood her passion and love for the fashion and dresses she sells. I admire the personality that she aims to put into each and every dress. As soon as I left for another store, I knew I’d be back, and when I was back, I also got to meet Lou. Lou was such a relaxing person to be around and made me feel at ease. Together they were an amazing team and had a real knowledge about my body type and how the dress would work best for me and how they could alter the dress for me. I went to this shop to buy my daughter 's bridal dress. 5 stars to the dress selection. You can find different styles (tea dresses included) all very fashionable. I'm Italian so believe me 😉 5 stars to the quality of the dresses. Laces and fabrics are top quality and the quality of the making excellent.🤩 5 stars to Charlotte, she was very helpful and professional. She didn't limit the number of dresses one can try (as other shops did) and she suggested different options to the bride to be. 5 stars to the price. Value for money is excellent. I didn't though I could buy such a beautiful and high quality dress for such an honest price. 5 stars to the service, as one can be assisted for alterations and guided on how to dress for the alterations (bra, shoes...). If you don't have room at home they can store store the dress for you. 5 stars from the mother of the bride. Seeing my daughter so beautiful and happy has no price and being assisted by Charlotte in finding the right shop to buy the mother of the bride dress, it has been an added value. I came across the bridal boutique by chance on google maps and arrived about 30mins before closing time to see some of the tea length dresses I’d seen in the google maps pictures. The selection of this type of dress length was amazing - I’d been looking online for this style for a while as they aren’t so easy to come across and I have to say I was very impressed at the in store selection available at the bridal boutique. They were all such beautiful quality and design it was very hard to choose! Charlotte was so welcoming and talked us through rail of tea length dresses. She helped us to try at least 7 on (even though it was now past closing time!!) and I ended up finding the perfect one - plus some gorgeous Mary Jane style shoes to match. To top it off Charlotte advised and is making a few alterations needed - due to changing jobs my availability to be in the area for the alterations was very limited but Charlotte very kindly went out of her way to work around my schedule and fit us in. I really couldn’t recommend this place more, after a long day shopping it was an absolute gem of a find. If you like a more vintage tea length dress style this shop is a must visit!

I made an appointment back in January with The Bridal Boutique after an unsuccessful and quite disheartening visit to a small bridal boutique closer to where I live. When I first arrived I was quite sceptical about finding anything that would fit me as I hadn’t had much luck elsewhere and I also felt under pressure as I didn’t have long until my wedding in April. However, right from the start I was reassured by Charlotte and Louise and they really took the time to get to know why I was a few months away from my big day and didn’t yet have a dress sorted! Louise got me into and out of so many dresses very efficiently which meant I really got a lot out of my appointment and she was so complementary about everything I tried on. Unbelievably almost every dress I tried on actually fit me which was a huge confidence boost and just shows how much Charlotte and Louise really know about finding the right dress for you! It was a tough choice but I really liked one dress and left to have a think about it. Charlotte was so attentive and accommodating as I went back the next day with my Mum to try it again and then I knew it was the one. Neither of my appointments felt rushed and I felt like I had all the time I needed. I’d highly recommend The Bridal Boutique and can’t thank Charlotte and Louise enough for helping me find the perfect dress for me!

I found this hidden gem in the Galleries by chance. I fell in love with their tea dresses at first sight! But when I tried my favourite one on, I didn't know what to think of it. There was no 'wow!' effect or 'this is the dress!' feeling. It looked great on me though. Charlotte was amazing: she told me "it looks good on you but what statement do you want to make? You should choose the dress based on this statement". Well, I had no idea what statement I wanted to make, so Charlotte pointed at her sample dresses, all my size (I'm an 8-10), and said to try what I liked. She helped me choose some and wear them on, and she was very honest with me. I didn't feel that famous 'this is the one' feeling you see on telly, but all dresses were amazing, easy to wear and of great quality. Pretty amazing considering they were all within my under £,1000 budget!! Anyway, there was one dress that I tried twice on request of Charlotte and my mum. It was a Woodstock model, boho style, gorgeous lace, super comfy and playful. I kept it on while chatting, it just felt so natural to wear! Charlotte then said "if you haven't taken it off yet, it must be the one!". To be honest, I think she knew what statement I wanted to make before I did! I just wanted to look great and feel like myself! I decided to go for it and I don't regret it! There's something else I want to point out about this gem: - if you are looking for a gorgeous dress but you don't want to sell a kidney to buy one, go here! Especially if you love tea dresses or if you are a small size like me! - Charlotte is great at helping, especially if you don't really know what dress you want. And she doesn't put any pressure on you (like they do in other shops). She also helps with the alterations and you can leave the dress there until your alterations are done (I don't have space at home so this was great for me!) - there's no booking fee! I avoided several shops because of this fee. I hate feeling pressured to buy in a shop. Thank you so much Charlotte!!!

My goodness what can I say?!💙 Charlotte and her fantastic boutique is the gem of Bristol! I found my dream dress in her gorgeous boutique, I couldn't have imagined a dress more perfect for me and my style! I had originally liked the Facebook page long before I started looking for a dress, and then Covid kicked in and we didn't end up looking anywhere for a long time. Towards the end of 2021 I thought I should start looking for my dress, as our date is August 2022. We looked in a chain store first and I knew I then really wanted a personal touch - as for me the person and experience is just as important as the dress it self. Well, I saw a post that Charlotte had shared on Facebook one day and thought 'I need to get there asap!!' So I literally messaged then and there and was lucky enough to get a booking early the next morning and I'm so so glad that I did! Charlotte gave me a ring right away and we had a great chat before my appointment, she wanted to chat to me about what I was thinking, budget etc. And it really made me confident and excited for the next day!! I was unsure what I wanted but had a few rather quirky ideas but hadn't tried anything on like it, and I knew that Charlotte had amazing taste with quirky, unique and vintage style dresses to choose from. I came with my Mum and Dad and Charlotte made us all feel welcome, we laughed and chatted the second we came into our private session at the boutique and I instantly felt comfortable and relaxed. My mum, Charlotte and I looked through the dresses and I tried a few different ones on, During the whole process Charlotte was so attentive and we just 'clicked'. She was so helpful with fit, design, colours etc. And really cared about what we had planned for our day - she really made me feel listened to and special. We realised I had found my dress as I just stayed in it and didn't want to take it off!! I had never seen a dress like it anywhere 💙 It was important to me that my Cousin came and saw me in my dress, and Charlotte was so lovely about it! We managed to come in the next day together and funnily enough the second she walked in she walked over to my dress on the rail, pulled it out and said 'oh my goodness this dress is so lovely' and we couldn't believe it!!! I couldn't recommend The Bridal Boutique and Charlotte enough!!!! (As you can probably tell from all the exclamation marks I'm using!) As a bride on a budget I am so pleased I found the Bridal Boutique. Charlotte replied almost instantly when I enquired about dresses in my price range/size and booked me in with my mum and sister. We had a fantastic experience - it's a smaller boutique but I personally found that less daunting than the choice in some of the larger more corporate stores. There were still plenty of beautiful dresses in my size and style to try on and Charlotte was so knowledgeable about suggesting what would best suit me. It's perfect if you're looking for something a bit different, especially boho styles or tea dresses, but I did also try a couple of more traditional gowns. I ended up walking away with a gorgeous unique dress and felt so special when a couple walking past rapped on the window while I was in it to give me an enthusiastic thumbs up! Charlotte makes the experience very relaxed and I didn't feel at all pressured to walk away with a dress, but happily I did.

I was feeling totally deflated, stressed etc after an experience in the other bridal (conveyor belt) store in the galleries. Popped in to see if they could help me without an appointment etc. Wow, what a welcoming, after 45 or so minutes my bridal party and I had tears (of joy), smiles and laughs. ultimately found "the one" and I certainly said "Yes to the dress". I went home with a massive smile on my face and a dress ready for this October. I couldn't be happier all round. If you want the best, then ladies, this is THE only place to go. Charlotte knows her stuff! Her taste is impeccable and she knows what will look good on your shape. Because the designs she chooses for her store are so unique it will be hard to find dresses anywhere else that match up. I went to two more appointments after finding my dress (just in case) but they all just seemed boringly traditional and samey after seeing the ones at The Bridal Boutique and I couldn’t get my dress out of my mind! She does all alterations herself in store which also means the process is seamless and the price is very reasonable. Great, comfortable shoes too! What I especially loved is that Charlotte didn’t make me feel any pressure or give the impression that I had to make hasty decisions, unlike most other places. She was happy to talk through all the finer details and the service overall has been warm and reassuring throughout. Thank you Charlotte!

One of her specialties is bridal tea dresses which is just what I was looking for but having booked the wedding at short notice with under four months to go I was really nervous about finding 'The Dress' in the timescale. This didn't phase Charlotte, although she was careful to manage my expectations of what might be possible. I tried on most of her range of gorgeous tea dresses and found the perfect one which fits beautifully. Charlotte was kindly prepared to sell me her sample off the rail which meant that I had the dress of my dreams in just a few short weeks after a few alterations which were quickly and professionally done. Charlotte is a lovely lady. Very patient, accommodating, flexible, honest and, as a designer, is great at knowing just what will suit you. She's also very keen to ensure that your dress suits your personality and is just right for you. Charlotte also sells a great range of accessories and I was able to pick up some beautiful shoes and a lovely hairband at the same time. When Charlotte went to order the size we required the supplier were not willing to help due to the tight deadline to the wedding. But, Charlotte went above & beyond to help & we used the dress that I tried on in the shops & currently making alterations & the supplier is able to get some of the fine detail to us in a timeline manner. I had always walked past this shop when I was younger and thought how lovely it was. I popped in the other Saturday (on my way to another bridal appointment) and was surprised but the lovely dresses they had in store. Within about 5 mins I was in a dress and loving it. I found the service to be delightful. Charlotte listened to what I wanted and also offered alternatives suggestions to fit my style. Me and my bridal party were the only ones in there so it meant I was free to move round the store and look round at what ever I wanted. The dresses were reasonably priced and good quality. As a covid bride it was important to me to find somewhere that can also tailor my dress and take that stress out of finding a tailor, so it's fantastic they offer this as a service. The covid procedures were also in place and I felt comfortable within the store, which is important when buying a dress under these strange times. Th Bridal Boutique is amazing. Not only do they stock beautiful dresses (sample dresses and dresses designed by the owner, Charlotte) at low prices and unique handmade accessories but the customer service is second to none. I had an idea as to what I was looking for and in addition was encouraged to try some styles I hadn't considered. I fell in love with a dress that I wouldn't have looked twice at usually, both colour and style and to make it even more perfect, the dress was altered to give it a 50's feel which is what I'd originally set my heart on. So, thanks to the Bridal Boutique I have a one off, custom styled wedding dress rather than a generic dress that anyone can walk into a bridal shop and buy and for a third of what it would have cost anywhere else (and that includes the alterations!) What really added to the vision was being able to try out all the accessories while trying on the dress and amazingly, I found a one off piece which is just what I was looking for which completed the look. I'd encourage any bride, bridesmaid or mother of the bride to visit the Bridal Boutique before anywhere else. Its a lovely small shop but such a choice and having tried on several dresses already that day that felt just WRONG it was wonderful to receive a warm welcome fron m Charlotte and to discover the beauty and the differentmess of the dresses she has chosen to stock. There are classics, vintage, modern and boho and they are really beautiful. The price is far less than I expected. I chose a sample dress that needed to be made smaller and the work has been done by a very skilled seamstress and a further alterstion is at no further cost. Because Charlotte is a designer and has years of experience working in the fashion world as well as producing her own garments she has a wealth of knowledge about style and fit and accesories and is so helpful at helping get that look that you know is 'the one'! On my wedding day I felt so feminine, the dress, fascinator and shoes, which were all from Charlotte's shop, felt like they were made just for me. My experience with The Bridal Boutique started when I saw a beautiful floral wedding dress in this shop. At that time I wanted exactly that kind of dress but couldn`t find it anywhere else! So I entered the shop and booked an appointment to try the dress. Since the first day I met Charlotte she was welcoming and never considered my requests impossible or bad ideas. She made me try a few dresses from her shop, she offered me a bargain on a sample dress..but it just wasn`t MY dress. Than I had a look in a charity shop, bought a dress that ticked most of the boxes..and brought it to Charlotte, I was confident that she would have known what id needed to be altered. At first we though to do a few alteration, but after a while she had a look at me in the dress and she understood that he dress needed to be less tight...and everything was sorted! I now have a dress which fits me, my wedding style..and my budget perfectly! She knows what she is doing, she welcomes everybody, she can`t say no to ladies dream wedding dress, and she use her experience with passion and patience (a lot with me). I would go back to her again and again...but we just get married once! ...I believe.

It all started with a bad dress and by that I mean a truly lovely dress but not lovely for me!! I purchased the dress back in Feb for my wedding in September, it was a gorgeous Mori Lee but on me, despite many alterations I still didn’t have the 5’10”+ height it needed nor the skinny frame. I’d been in denial for weeks (probably months) and wasn’t really looking forward to the wedding knowing I would have a dress which wasn’t really me, didn’t fit well and didn’t really match my personality. So.... one Saturday I had decided I would head into town with loose plans to go to Wed2Be to try and find a cheaper dress which I could afford and would suit me better. I am not from Bristol and hadn’t really done any googling so headed straight there. I was amazed by the production chain style of the shop (I’m sure very efficient but not particularly friendly). I felt like a number, choose 4 dresses, wait your turn etc. So I left the shop despondent and thinking I would just have to suck it up and wear the dress I had. I was waiting for my fiancé so had a bit of time to pass, went to the toilets and saw an advert for another shop in the galleries. I’m not from Bristol so had to figure out where the shop was and then braced myself. They say everything happens for a reason and believe me - after this truly wonderful experience I can wholeheartedly agree with that sentiment. It was a Saturday at peak time when I walked into the shop and met the lovely Charlotte. She was kind, reassuring and actually LISTENED. She got me. I showed her the photo of the dress I already had and what I got was empathy - it’s a wow dress but she understood it wasn’t really my style. She has such a lovely way of actually listening, watching I guess and matching the dress to the bride. I am incredibly fortunate - I stumbled across the shop by accident, the lady due to arrive was running late and the lovely Charlotte just got me. We tried on a few dresses, a couple completely different styles - a couple I had chosen and then a couple Charlotte had chosen. And this is where fate really kicks in - the dress which is me? End of line, my size, fits me like a glove. I felt just wow. The smile then is the smile I carry now. Suddenly the fear I felt of wearing a dress too revealing, too showy, so unlike me was gone. I look incredible- is this the dress I see myself wearing to meet my incredible better half next month? You bet! I am honestly so relieved, Charlotte has such an incredible talent, she cares, she is in no way a typical bridal boutique (I had been to a few before purchasing my other dress). Every bride I am sure will be looked at as an individual, will be listened to and cared for. I honestly cannot thank you enough. Thank you for not judging me, for taking time to know me, for choosing a dress which is so me it feels like it was made for me and I cannot wait to pick it up and wear it. All the fear and angst I had before is washed away. I can enjoy the rest of my wedding preparations. I am so grateful that we met!
