C. F.Hired The Crafty Hen for my sister's Hen Party, they arrived early and on time but due to the venue they had a late start, sorry about that. Despite this the ladies were very good, very helpful and supportive of all the ladies in the group and everyone got to make their own jewellery piece, either an earring, necklace or bracelet. Some even made more than one piece of jewellery! Thank you so much for your service and we would definitely love to hire you guys again in future.

The whole booking process was straightforward and flexible, and the Crafty Hen team were incredibly responsive to all of my questions.
The workshop itself was fun, relaxed and engaging! Our Crafty Hen host Sarah arrived on time and was happy for us to host the workshop outside. Sarah clearly explained and demonstrated to the group what we would be doing, the tools available and different techniques we could try. She provided helpful tips as to where to begin and was attentive throughout; both in terms of giving support and also making sure we had clean equipment available at all times. All of the 14 guests loved the session and couldn't believe how quickly the three hours went!
I would highly recommend The Crafty Hen and I will definitely book with them again in the future!!

T.The first element of my hen party was a craft session with the lovely Julie of The Crafty Hen. Myself and my 14 hens each made a beautiful flower crown. Julie was fun, friendly and extremely helpful, particularly with the nervous crafters in the group. I had contacted The Crafty Hen team prior to the day to ask if they could source some celestial bits and bobs to include in our crowns and they were happy to help. Along with the flowers there were stars and little planets for us to add! We were all thrilled with the flower crowns we made and the craft session was a real highlight of the day! Ours was a mixed group and all of the guys in attendance loved making the crowns as much as the girls. Many thanks to Julie and The Crafty Hen team for making my hen so special! 🌺🌻🌼

To say the bride to be and her 18 guests enjoyed the workshop is quite honestly a massive understatement!!
It was so beautifully presented and explained by the 2 lovely “crafty hens”, everyone got stuck in and it brought out each inner child.
The materials offered, as well as the support, allowed us all to create something for my sister to cherish forever!
The whole experience was perfect.
If you are unsure, I would HIGHLY recommend using the Crafty Hens for any event you have. I know I will in the future!

M.I stumbled across The Crafty Hen while looking for a craft based hen do activity for a friend, it was the first link I clicked on and it looked perfect and now we have completed our workshop I can definitely say I’m glad I found them! We chose to do jewellery making but the bride to be saw several workshops that she would have loved to do, there’s so much choice! The communication was great also, the team were so quick at replying (despite their automatic reply saying they were very busy!). The information sent through was very detailed and easy to follow. Booking and paying for the session was a breeze, they even sent a reminder when the final payment was required!
As for the workshop itself, it was great! It was such good value for money, we were able to make as much jewellery as we could in the allotted time of the workshop and the group went home with at least 2 creations each. Stevie, our host, was fabulous too! So full of energy and really helpful. We challenged her by having the session in a busy restaurant but she handled it well, providing help as and when we needed but also allowing us to crack on with our creations. I have had a great experience with The Crafty Hen, I honestly couldn’t fault a thing and would really recommend them!

When I informed them that my younger sister who was autistic would be attending the hen, they went out of their way to make sure she was able to be included and even brought some extra larger beads for the workshop to make sure she was able to be involved. When planning for my best friends hen, they were attentive and the instructor was lovely. A great activity that is suitable for all ages and abilities. I organised a fascinator workshop for myself and 18 friends for part of my hen do and it was fantastic. Everything had to be moved to Zoom due to the pandemic but the transition was stress free with each guest receiving a kit of high quality materials through the post. The communication since booking has been exceptional and nothing was too much trouble. The workshop ran smoothly and the video instructor explained every step thoroughly. Each time there was a government update the team were so proactive with what that meant for our booking, I never chased them once. Once we finally got round to the event, 18 months later it was absolutely fantastic. Stacey our host was so knowledgeable and gave us all great hints and tips to ensure our crowns / headbands / combs were a success. C.Absolutely lovely! We had The Crafty Hen arrive for ceramic painting as part of a hen weekend in Sussex. Stephanie dealt with the booking and was extremely helpful, professional and informative. On the day Chloe arrived, she was very organised, knowledgeable and friendly. We weren't the most crafty group but Chloe was very encouraging and helped anyone who was struggling. She was even kind enough to make some tea! It was a really lovely experience which was enjoyed by the group, with several comments about how relaxing the session had been. Further hens arrived later that day and not only admired our work but some was rather disappointed they'd missed the session! We had an unfortunate cancellation with a previous provider and the Crafty Hen were so accommodating of our last minute request to undertake a ceramic workshop. Kathryn came to our accommodation, was on time and had a vast number of materials to use. She helped us with ideas if we were stuck. We had great fun and the three hours flew by. It was lovely to be able to take home a momento of the weekend (a mug, a plate and a decoration) and to do a communal plate for the bride to be. Everybody really enjoyed the session and made so much effort to make gorgeous patchwork squares for the bride to be, who will now have a beautiful keepsake too.
Judith and Laura were so helpful and took time to help everyone in the group one to one to make something they could be proud of. The session ran perfectly and we couldn't have asked for more. The choice of fabrics and embellishments were lovely as well.
The team behind the scenes were also brilliant at every stage of the planning. Communication was always quick with lots of advice to make sure we got the best from the session and the bride to be got something she loved.

It was a lovely relaxed, sociable activity for a group to do on an afternoon and everyone really got into the sewing!! We'd agreed on a colour palette beforehand and all the backing squares looked beautiful together - exactly what the bride would have chosen herself I think. S. P.Brilliant experience with the crafty hen, we did floral crowns and there was such a gorgeous range of flowers which we were so impressed by. The leader of the session was absolutely lovely and very kindly took lots of photos of us all together just before the end of the session. Not everyone in the group spoke English and it was a great activity where language was not needed. We will all really treasure the photos as an extended family. Our workshop leader Sasha was very attentive and even more patient with us whilst making our crowns - we all had a slightly boozy friday night so our concentration was dwindling towards the end. She was a trooper and even topped up our glasses of bucks fizz when she saw we were running out. The process leading up to the party was great - the staff were all very good with dealing with my questions and even suggested companies who could cater lunch for us. They went above and beyond in making the morning fun for everyone including the bride. I would highly recommend using the Crafty hen.

Due to the circumstances I've had to cancel the Hen Party and The Crafty Hen couldn't have been more helpful. There responses are quick and detailed, instantly putting me at ease. They gave me clear choices and have been great in insuring we can still get our fascinator kits for another time and have been refunded some of the money which I wasn't expecting. They are always friendly and professional and I cannot speak highly enough of how they have handled the situation. I would recommend this company to anyone and I look forward to making my fascinator in the future.

As it was an important, once-in-a-lifetime event for me, I was hoping to have someone a lot more animated, friendly and helpful. She gave us a very short explanation of what to do - I don't think she was comfortable having attention on her (although there were only 8 of us) - and then just told us to start. My friends commented that she was not particularly responsive when they asked for help, and was often just sat on her phone. I wouldn't use this service again, I'm afraid.

We were extremely happy with the knicker decorating class held for my friends Hen party. The communication from the booking till the day of the class was on point. The materials provided for the class were varied and the teacher was very helpful ;-)
