My experience at Laura May was so lovely and pleasant! I sent quite a vague email as I was very unsure what type of dress I wanted and I wasn't sure how much of a variety they would have in their plus-size dresses, but I felt very seen and understood when I turned up to my appointment (in their lovely arcade shop) and saw that they had hand picked 5-6 dresses for me to try on. Each staff member was patient and kind and you could tell that they were knowledgeable and just as excited by your big day as you were. They made the experience of shopping comfortable for me and my family, with all of the tea/champagne we could want. Both my wedding dress and my bridesmaid dresses were absolutely perfect and I'd owe it all to the ladies of Laura May who really took the time to understand my vision and the experience I wanted on the big day. I was particularly blown away by the different types of bridesmaid dresses they had; very modern, a lovely range of materials and a dress for all types of tastes. I couldn't recommend them enough. I didn’t end choosing my dress from this shop, but i can’t express how much i enjoyed my appointment there, I had Kellie for my appointment, and oh my god words cannot express how amazing she is, professional, patient, friendly, fun, and welcoming. I was lucky enough to have Kellie as part of my appointment at the outlet shop. She could instantly feel how nervous and overwhelmed I was… even behind the mask. She was extremely patient, extremely reassuring and took it slow with me. It ultimately led me to saying ‘yes to the dress’ … and she made sure that I said yes for all the right reasons. Thank you very much for such a great experience on Saturday. After a previous experience at another shop left me feeling quite down and anxious about the whole experience of dress shopping I cannot say how much better this one was. Came here on the 27th November and couldn't have asked for a nicer experience. My consultant was Kellie-Anne who was absolutely lovely, she listened to everything I was saying and picked out the perfect dress, which made me feel so confident and having put weight on due to having children plus being on the petite side the dress looked great and the veil that was pick was a style I'd been looking at and just really brought it together.

I had the most amazing experience at Laura May Bridal. From the moment I entered the store Anwen made me feel so comfortable, special and helped me find THE perfect wedding dress. She listened to my ideas and was so knowledgeable about the range of dresses and what styles in particular would suit me. My mum also said she was "excellent in every way!" I visited Crwys Road shop yesterday evening to try and find a wedding dress. Well, where do I start WOW what an experience, Kellie-Ann is an attribute to the team. Friendly, bubbly, caring, beautiful inside and out and she made my night not only enjoyable but magical. She was amazing from start to finish and made me feel like a princess. After 4 appointments cancelled on me due to lockdown, I was dreading going wedding dress shopping and in fact had it in my head I would come away in tears and not wanting to get married but it was the complete opposite and this is all thanks to Kellie!! She made me feel comfortable and pushed me out my comfort zone which enabled me to purchase me dream dress. Nothing was an issue for her and she couldn't do more to help if she tried. She went above and beyond and I am soooooo grateful for Kellie. My anxiety was put aside by her reassuring and friendly manor, and I came away the happiest I had been in moths and this really has put a smile on my face.There should be more Kellie's around! What a beautiful bridal shop and I can't recommend Laura May enough! The little touches like the goody bag to all the amazing staff members that are friendly and professional.

I had my pre-arranged Laura May Bridal dress appointment today and was blown away by the service. Rhiannon was wonderful, so relaxed and friendly, carefully selecting dresses she felt would suit, based on all of my preferences. She also gave lots of helpful ideas and advice about customising details and also gave me contact details to arrange my dress alterations. I fell in love with the dress of dreams and felt I was treated like an absolute princess! Everything was very clean and it was evident that all preventative measures were being taken regarding the recent pandemic - we felt extremely safe and well looked after today! If I could give more than 5 stars I would! A wide range of dresses and amazing service. Laura May Bridal have 2 stores I went to the Crws Road boutique. Upon entering I was immediately made to feel welcome and felt at ease. The whole experience was amazing. My consultant was lovely : patient, understanding what I was after in a wedding dress and and so down to earth! Professional, friendly and knowledgeable of the dresses and what complimented them (veils, tiaras,etc). I'd highly recommend them and I'm so glad I went there. I can't thank Laura May Bridal enough for giving me incredible memories of my wedding dress shopping experience!

I bought my dress a few weeks back now - it’s the most beautiful dress and I love love love it! I must say though what made my experience better was Rhiannon! She was so lovely and helpful and couldn’t do enough for me - I was so anxious and nervous about my appointment but she made the experience ten times better and I really enjoyed it! She’s even offered to drop off my ordered material and buttons to my home aswell - honestly she’s been a diamond & I can’t thank her enough 🥰 I cannot wait you get that dress on now (feel beautiful as I did in it) and marry the love of my life! I found my wedding dress with Laura May Bridal. I was meant to get married in August this year but unfortunately had to be cancelled due to Covid. Wedding has been rearranged to 2021. The initial appointment with Laura May was fab. We were made to feel very welcome. The dresses were lovely. They even provided a lovely gift bag when the dress was ordered. The follow up appointment was very straight forward and all well organised. The staff were all lovely. My dress arrived at Laura May during the original lockdown and they dealt with all the changes and restrictions really well. They kept me well informed of all updates and made the whole process smooth and stress free. 100% recommended Laura May Bridal.

I had visited a few bridal stores (and most were brilliant). However, Laura May far exceeded my expectations. My mum, sister and myself were made to feel incredibly welcome. The atmosphere was really warm and friendly, without being at all pushy. I felt like I had a long-time to pick suitable dresses, and there was no rush to try them on quickly. May Pearson was very knowledgable and her advice was invaluable. I ended up getting a stunning, original gown, which I had initially thought might be out of my budget. However, I was able to get my dream dress and beautiful veil without needing to forfeit our honeymoon ;p. The other staff were also very warm and friendly. In general I had a positive experience at Laura May. The Cryws Road store is lovely with a good range of dresses and the staff were friendly and helpful. The assistant made lots of effort to try and suggest dresses that might fit what I wanted so I got to try on lots of dresses and it didn't feel rushed. However it just didn't quite match the customer service level that I have received elsewhere. Small things like offering a cup of tea makes the experience feel more special (after all I hope to only get married once!) and I also found elsewhere that more care and attention was made to pin me in to dresses to make them look their best and therefore help with the decision.

I can only say the best for this award winning boutique. I got my wedding dress today and couldn't be happier. They went the extra mile for me from the beginning, bringing a dress they didn't stock from London for me to try!! They were extra helpful and attending and made me feel special throughout the process. I purchased my veil and headpiece from there too. I popped in on a lunchtime (pre-COVID) to the arcade branch, after seeing a dress online and they accommodated me at short notices and helped me find my perfect dress. I wanted some of my bridesmaids to share the experience and they let me come back in the following day with my bridesmaids. They were very helpful and allowed me to have my perfect dress by selling me the sample.

I went to Laura May Bridal some days ago. I already had tried dresses other shops and had found one I really liked, so I wasn't sure that I could find anything better. When I entered the shop I was welcomed by the girls and especially Natasha who was assigned to help me at the appointment. The atmosphere in the shop was so nice, comfy chairs, beautifully warm lights and friendly assistants. I actually found THE dress among the excellent selection of dreamy dresses and at a reasonable price and now expect to have it ready in a really short period of time (compared to other shops!). I have been to several bridal shops and Laura May provided the best customer service out of all of them. The staff are friendly, attentive and knowledgable. My "entourage" were offered tea and coffee while they waited for me to try on dresses. I found a dress that I liked, but wasn't sure whether to purchase it just yet. They took my measurements and details anyway, so that once I decided I could just call them and they would order the dress straight away. Overall, it was a great experience and I would recommend Laura May to any bride.

I visited LauraMay bridal a few weeks ago looking for my dream dress, as does any bride. When i entered with my mum, i was greeted by Laura, who was assigned to assist me that day. She was warm and welcoming and helped ease my nerves. The service we received was second to none, i had a style in mind, but found that my dream dress was the complete opposite, thanks to the advice of Laura. Laura was professional, helpful and even advised me to try on dresses that i thought would not suit me, which was when i found the ONE. I visited both shops that day and all members of staff we warm, welcoming and could not have been more accommodating to myself and the other brides having appointments that day. I have Recently visited Lauramay bridal with my sister and mum for my sister to try on dresses for her wedding. I got married a number of years ago and I wish Lauramay was established then, due to the amazing experience we had for my sister and their large selection of beautiful dresses!! When we arrived we were immediately welcomed and made to feel comfortable. We were able to look through the dresses and gave the assistant an idea of the dress my sister was looking for. They asked us lots of details about the big day in order to help them get an even better idea of what dress would look good in photos with certain backdrops. They were so well informed with information on styles and themes, which made us feel even more confident in shopping with them! Nice store but hated seeing another bride in the store at the same time.Didn't feel exclusive and enjoyment. I had tried on what i would say was my dress but a girl in the same room decided to try it on straight after and i go from loving to hating it. sorry but this whole two brides in the one room ruined it for me. I also got asked and questioned why I couldn't put a deposit down by a staff member. Shoping is meant to be enjoyable and i had a lot to think about after seeing the other customer in the same dress. Sales pressure shouldn't of been put on.

I went to this boutique and their royal arcade one before lockdown. The service I received from May was exceptional. All the girls that work there are so friendly and helpful and patient.
