I had a phenomenal experience watching the function band Jupiter Ray this year at a rare ticketed public show in Essex. They were professional and courteous throughout and did an excellent job in gauging the room and getting the dance floor filled.They started their set with some classic Motown and then moved more into a contemporary feel but still with nods to funk and Motown throughout (think Bruno Mars and Lizzo medleys). The singer, Laura, was incredibly energetic and danced with the crowd while the rest of the ensemble seemed to really enjoy playing on stage with their matching suits and instruments. The light show was fantastic and really gave the whole experience that extra charm. I was lucky enough to get some photos of the band too, they were very friendly and polite. I 100% implore you to consider booking Jupiter Ray in the future as your ideal wedding band and wished I would have myself! Definitely by far the best wedding band I've seen in Essex! Maybe for future wedding vows..

We cannot rate Jupiter Ray highly enough! They absolutely smashed it and provided incredible music and entertainment for our wedding in May 2022. They were very quick to respond to emails and they matched our style so well. They look incredible in their pink suits and the pink glittery drum kit was a big hit! They are all incredibly talented and so friendly, they made our wedding day so much more fun. Would book them again without question.

Jupiter Ray are simply awesome! We have been following them for a number of years and were so delighted when they were available after our first Covid postponed wedding date…and again after the second postponement! Throughout Nik was absolutely lovely to deal with and then the wedding evening came along and the band were incredible! Having seen them many times before, we knew they would be amazing but we have had so many comments about how awesome the band was afterwards. They had everyone dancing all night including the great DJ set in the middle. Thank you so much for making a perfect day even more memorable!

A bright, confident and an extremely driven individual who has potential to go very far in the music scene. Laura has assisted me to provide a 5 star service and she goes above and beyond to meet the needs and expectations of the dance floor; her hard work and sheer dedication is truly valued and it is amazing to have her on board 247 Mobile DJ's (We book live bands too). It has been a pleasure to work with Jupiter Ray whilst supporting various commitments and undoubtably, they are by far the best live band that I have ever worked with. Despite Laura having a day time commitment, this did not faze her to answer any of my questions at such short notice. Ascribed with excellent foresight, it was impressive that Laura was constantly thinking ahead, envisioning issues and addressing them before they come to fruition. Jupiter Ray delivered an OUTSTANDING performance last night, they belted out nothing but absolute excellence and produced top class results to ensure success of the dance floor. Laura has huge bursts of energy which is infectious to the guests and her voice is AMAZING! The Officers' at 16 Air Assault Brigade were BLOWN AWAY last night and already, I have received unimpeachable feedback from across the ranks and an acknowledgement of merit in recognition of the adept skills that they have. Jupiter Ray is most definitely one to watch for the future as they are seen to be trailblazing to the front; they are exceptionally great at what they do!!! - If Carlsberg did live bands...... Look NO FURTHER as this band will deliver & from a professional DJ's point of view, you will not be disappointed with the output that they have to offer. Thank you for playing at our wedding, Jupiter Ray! We've received so many messages saying how great you all were and how good the music was and they're right. Nik was very easy to deal with; friendly, relaxed and answered any queries we had quickly and efficiently. The music was exactly what we wanted and Laura's singing was faultless. Our venue was a large barn and the band filled the room with a great vibe and sound and everyone was up dancing.
