Had my wedding at this venue. Such a beautiful venue, can’t fault it. The decor was even better than the pictures I was shown. Didn’t stop receiving compliments on the decor from all my guests! Great parking facility with VIP parking spaces supervised by security. They had great wedding packages which included indoor fireworks and smokey dried ice for my entrance, which gave that special touch. Everything ran smoothly and according to the schedule, thanks to the venue owner who was an extremely nice guy. Would definitely recommend!

We had our son's Walima there yesterday.The whole experience was brilliant from the beginning till the end.Venue and decor was excellent. The owner, Mr Mian, was very helpful, cooperative and very accommodative to all our needs. His assistant Hitesh was very good as well and helped us in everyday. The event coordinator and host Shanaba was brilliant as well and kept the function nicely organised and timed. The food from local caterers was very good and the guests liked it very much... I recently attended a wedding at this venue, and my experience was very pleasant. The venue was aesthetically pleasing and it had a very calm ambience. The surrounding outside area was great for taking pictures. Food was good, service was excellent. Staff were very friendly. They accommodated for people who wanted to pray which was excellent. Also toilet facilities were very clean. They had a parking area with plenty of space. Overall a very good experience.

Had my brothers wedding here last weekend. The venue is absolutely stunning. The waiters and manger were brilliant. Everything ran smoothly on the day. The communication and service before the wedding day was amazing. All Friendly staff. Ample parking space with dedicated VIP section with security. A beautiful room upstairs for bride. Sound system was brilliant. Loved the fact that there was a separate female and male prayer rooms. So happy we chose to go with Grand River Suite.

We have booked Grand River Suite for our son's wedding reception to be held in July 2022. So far our journey, from first visit in June 2021, booking, food tasting and finalisation of the event details have been a great experience. Venue itself has many advantages as it has a beautiful large hall and outside ample car parking. The team members have been very helpful. We are looking towards a memorable and successful event. I will provide an update after the event in last week of July 2022.

As a wedding venue this is pretty decent. Great space, very good parking, which on the day was kept in check by a parking attendant, which is rare. Good sized tables, great decor, very well lit for pictures. Brilliant prayer facilities to cater for the Muslim contingent. The only reason it didn't get a full on 5 star, was the food and service. The food was overly salty and the service lacked "customer service". Is still recommend, maybe the chef hat an off day and maybe just maybe the service will be better outside of the Christmas period.

Absolutely stunning venue! We met with Mr Mia several times prior to the wedding to discuss all details and Mr Mia was very thorough. He was always reachable and even rang me from abroad one time! Our day could not have gone any smoother with Mr mia and his team running around and making sure everything is well. To be honest when my wife and I visited GrandRiver Suite the very first time we fell in love with the venue and this was the only place we wanted to host our Daughters wedding. The venue is beautifully setup and looked amazing in multicoloured LED lighting. Staff are amazingly helpful and everything on the day ran smoothly. Mr mia made every change we asked for no matter how demanding. There is a movable LED bar which looks the part when stocked up. The separate room hosted our mandap which was beautiful and very elegant. All the guests were nothing but full of praise for such a beautiful venue - visually stunning . Thanks for making our day perfect.

My experience at Grand River Suite was totally awesome. My son got married and we all had a fantastic experience. Mr Miah from the word go was extremely helpful polite and very professional. We had several meetings and on each meeting Mr Miah was extremely helpful welcoming and very forthcoming. Whatever was agreed was delivered. On the wedding day Mr Miah was constantly guiding us throughout the day, keeping an eye on the time and ensuring that everything goes as planned. The venue was very beautiful and accommodating. The waiter service was excellent. There was no issues with the car parking - very spacious. When we left the venue at the end of the wedding we got a telephone call from Mr Miah 20 mins later informing us we had left a gift bag which contained a gold ring and money envelopes - very trustworthy person. Thank you Mr Miah for making my son's Wedding a success and very memorable. Appreciate all your help support kindness and duas.

Me and my husband recently had our reception at this amazing and beautiful venue. Everything you see at this venue is what it is in real life. Had my Walima booked originally for August 2020 but due to Covid and Lockdown we had to get our dates pushed back to 2021. This was a difficult period for all of us due to having pre booked arrangements. The venue itself was the biggest stress as we did not know what was going to happen, this was not our fault and neither the venues. Throughout this period the team at The Grand River Suite, Mr Miah in particular was really helpful and communicated with us thoroughly. After waiting for over a year we had the go ahead to book a slot. Due to the backlog of weddings we did not originally get a date however the team at grand river fast tracked us due to our previous booking. Fast forward to the weeks prior to the wedding day and the day itself. We decided to opt for the venues Toastmaster, Shabana was really helpful in the build up to the wedding and on the day itself. I would fully recommend her services. The wedding event itself went tremendously, we had many compliments from guests saying the food and service was excellent. A very big thank you to Mr Miah, Shabana and the team for running it really smoothly. Myself and my Husband will be recommending this venue to family and friends for any future occasions.

Attended this place twice. Loved the views, the deco, the fountain, the stage etc. They also had different style of chairs which stood out. The security and staff were equally nice and helpful. Amazing experience at this venue, it really lives up to its name. With a huge space seating , filled with beautiful decorations all around including the elegant stage area, it is really one of a kind. They also have a selfie wall which is great for pictures and overall a marvellous place to be alongside family. Amazing venue with excellent staff! Hosted a wedding on 21 October 2019. Khalique was our co-ordinator for the wedding and he went above and beyond to make sure our needs were met. The decoration was exactly how the family pictured it and it stunned the guests. The menu was something no one will forget, as they say food leaves a lasting impression - it was definitely mouth watering! The security staff were all very lovely and friendly too. All in all well deserved 5 star rating and will definitely be recommending to others.

Went twice 25th and 29th July the hall is beautiful as everyone can seat under one roof. 25th Food wasn’t nice as it’s not there food but 29th food was mouth watering specially the starter service was outstanding on both date. I highly recommend this hall for wedding, celebrations or conferences

May I take this opportunity to say a big thank you to Shebul bai and his staff for a great day and service at my daughters wedding on the 29th July 2019. I would recommend Grand Riversuite Derby but I recommend that the air conditioning needs upgraded to a better system and more powerful...to enhanced guests experience that's why I gave 4 stars .. Really nice separate prayer rooms for mens and ladies Another thing I would recommend is to have someone cleaning toilets every 30 minutes Beautiful Bridal room 5 stars for that. We booked the Grand River Suite for our pre-events and wedding/reception. The venue is beautifully decorated inside and situated in a lovely location. The onsite car parking facility is also really good. A huge thank you to Shabana and Mr Miah for always being available to answer any questions we had and being so accomodating to make our events a success. We especially wanted to thank Hatesh for going above and beyond to ensure each of our events were beautifully set up and that they all ran smoothly. Any issues/concerns we had on the day were dealt with in a very calm and professional manner by Hatesh - thank you so much for all your help! We would highly recommend this venue :)
