Z. V.Amazing venue which has kept its character and charm. Each bar is conveniently placed and the area that all three bars cover is huge. Staffing is excellent, fairly friendly and quick service. The stage area is nice with enough room to dance. The only downside is that there are only one set of toilets and can be quite far away depending on where you are seated. Overall, a good place to visit.

M. P.Excellent facilities. Ten of us went to a beer festival there. Best beer festival o ever been too. Plenty of room and food on offer. They had separate additional tents and space outside. Close to the train station with plenty of parking to do easy access. So a superb venue for any event.
J. B.I’ve been to RoundHouse events a few time and I had an amazing experience every single time. The atmosphere is great, the crowd is lovely, the light are so colourful and the place well Secure so don’t have worry about anything. Car park provided also the location is near to the train station for whom come from far distance and you can easily get and find you taxi from this place as it’s not on a main roads.

Parking is available next to, opposite and a short distance down the road but they're managed by the railway station so not so cheap.
we attended a good and drink event. it was a nice event. got a little crowded so if you have a baby then consider a sling to make things easier.

M. F.I've only visited for the National/Derby Winter Beer Festival, but have always found the venue to be well run, clean and friendly. The near unique nature of the building ( a former railway roundhouse from the steam era) adds a little touch of history to the event.
m. l.Outstanding experience from going through the door. The catering could not be faulted - very good menu with service perfectly managed. The floor show was great. We will be booking again next yesr.
S. w. a. a. r. G.I went for the Derby Beer Festival with some colleagues from work. It was a great night, well organised, warm with plenty of food, drinks and music. The only minuses were a long queue to get in and all the Fesitval glasses had ran out, plenty of beer though and a good laugh.
S. T.Had a lovely Christmas do there, the food was standard mass catering fayre (soup, chicken, fondant), but done well. They know how to run a party event!
M. P.A nice venue - I can see why people hire this for weddings. I went for a trade show. As per usual all attached facilities (food halls) very pricey. The security o the attached car park was a miserable rude bloke- but I suppose that goes with the job!
A. H.Fantastic venue. The roundhouse is the venue of the hugely popular annual Derby winter beer festival. I would recommend a visit to this particular event to experience the best of both worlds!
N. W.They have done a tremendous job in restoring the derby roundhouse to its ultimate glory! Its great to see a historical heritage such as this maintained and kept for the public to view. Its a wonderful site and is even better that it can be developed and utilised amongst modern day projects. A wonderful place to visit if your local to derby!
A. p.Always a great place to go for events which are held locally in Derby. The Round house dates back to the time of steam. Christmas fayres are held there ...The beer festivals are great local beers by local breweries.. live bands and local produce...

D. N.Big old railway roundhouse, nicely reconstructed as events venue. Seems to be part of local University. Handily placed close to main Derby station (you can pass through the station to access Roundhouse from the town}. Great venue.
S. H.First time attending and if was for the Camra Beer Festival. Very easy location to get to and there was a free shuttle bus from the city centre, although i dont know if this is the case for all events here.
The building is an old roundhouse, hence the name, and is well laid out whilst keeping the featurea from times gone by.
Facilities were good and easily located. I gather that there are multiple floors but thia evwnt was only on the ground floor so cant comment on those.
A. S.Such a beautiful, beautiful venue!! I have been here around 5 times for various events - just amazing! One of the oldest - if not THE oldest roundhouse in the WORLD!

D. H.We have visited the Roundhouse several times for antique fairs etc this visit was a gin and rum festival, not quite what I expected as there was very little to buy and bring home but enjoyed a few hours there.
