We had a good night New year's Eve. The staff were excellent and eager to help in anyway. The building itself could do with some TLC ! i.e some of the lights were hanging out of the sockets. But I understand it's under new management, and overall I think they are doing a fantastic job. Happy New Year to everyone 🎇🎉👍

Great drinks at good value prices, and the people and staff are very friendly. A very pleasant atmosphere and very comfy aesthetically pleasing décor. Well done to the staff at Welly! It's a great place to be I highly recommend it to meet old friends and new! Thumbs up to a friendly, pleasant pub/club where everyone is welcome!

Brilliant. Proper village family pub! Run by locals with true community spirit! Loads of great events always on for kids and adults alike. Only place we'd feel safe and comfortable going for a drink round here now. Xx

18 or so months ago this pub was on its last legs. It come under new management Rach and Maz a local couple who only wanted the best for our village. In the short period of time they have taken over there's been massive improvements. They've organised charity events, had themed nights, carrying on with old traditions of line dancing etc. Rach and Maz have worked very hard to make it a better place, investing their own money to give the club a lick of paint etc they have put blood sweat and tears into the welly. I have seen more people go in there over the past few months than I have in the last 10 years. I for one would like to say a massive THANK YOU for bringing the community spirit back to EDLINGTON.

Nothing but great things to say about a place I now call my local..The landlord's Matt & Rach are really creating a friendly family setting and getting the club actively involved in things such as the darts & dominoes league which I'm proud to say I'm a member of.. great things happening and I hope more people of the Edlington / Warmsworth area can get in and only improve its growing reputation. Keep it up guys #lovethedarts

A historic pub in a ex mining village, this pub holds a few memories for me, but at recent you couldn't get more laid back people running the place, Rach and Maz really make you feel welcome and one of their family, inside the taps side there is a shrine of historic and structural history as the photos of yesteryear Edlington in black and white when the Miners strikes were in force in 1984, The aerial photos of that time on the back wall are phenomenal as they capture the pit and colliery when it was in action, the drink prices are reasonable and their is a huge selection of kiddies snacks behind the bar like wafer ufos and 20p mixes, with bingo and line dancing being a few of the many attractions down there with the darts regional tournament, it is a very warm and friendly club with a jukebox in, as that is rare these days for any pub, a spacious concert hall for any event, as well as a huge cricket field and a field down from that, it's a lot of exercise to walk around the circle with a cold refresher at the end out on the outside seating area, the gala is in a few week so go down for a look at the place then if you haven't been for a few year, it will bring back a lot of memories with the image gallery of that historic march in 1984

This pub has come on so much since Rachel and maz took it over the friendly warm welcome you receive with a smile all the time and it is a great family pub which has loads fancy dress discos concerts and so much more with loads for the adults to and great for private functions well done Rach n maz yous have turned the welly into a lovely place to bring the kids 👌
