great communication, very helpful and accommodating staff on the day. Location great for those coming by train, drivers could park a little walk away. Inside the venue - everything close at hand. Appreciated the tea and coffee and biscuits available throughout the day and lunch was lovely. Great feedback from delegates. Will definitely use again when back in Edinburgh

We went to the Edinburgh Training and Conference Venue last weekend and rented a room for a day and a half to shoot a short film. James and the whole team were so supportive, helpful, quick and accomodating. I could not recommend working with these people enough, it's a 10/10!

The staff couldn’t be more helpful or welcoming and the venue could not be in a better location, both for locals and visitors. The attention to hygiene detail in these Covid circumstances was impressive too. After the success of my three-day event, I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I held three courses here during the lockdown in January 2021, the infection control measures and attention to candidate safety was excellent. The staff were extremely helpful, accommodating, friendly and ensured that I was happy and confident with their protocols to ensure our safety. During the day I witnessed staff cleaning contact points and handrails. My candidates all felt safe in the venue and the rooms were large enough to ensure significant physical distancing. Will hopefully use this venue again in the future.

While our own meeting rooms are not large enough to allow for socially distanced meetings in large groups, we have been using ETCV quite a lot since we started meeting face to face again. Customer care is second to none before, during and after - people just cannot do enough for you and are very proactive in following up tentative bookings, making sure they have noted all your requirements, etc, while always accommodating late additions. You can hire all necessary equipment for virtual attendance and will receive any help required with regards to technical issues. Hot drinks and biscuits are free, and for only £4 extra per person, they provide a really nice buffet lunch. It goes without saying that everything is always very well planned, clean and safe with regards to Covid prevention. They`re not cheap, but they really do take care of everything for you - all you have to do is turn up. Only slight niggle is lack of parking but the central location is ideal for public transport - but who would have ever though that this would ever become one to avoid?

I've had the pleasure of delivering and attending training here many times. The venue itself is large and very well equipped for all kinds of training and conferences. Rooms are bright, clean and well stocked. Items of stationary, projectors and a presenter's laptop are all provided. The key difference from other venues is the hospitality. Staff are superb. Friendly, professional and extremely helpful. The food is very good. A real cut above other places where I've trained. I can't recommend the place highly enough.

I have used Edinburgh Training Centre to run training sessions for the past three years. I cannot praise them highly enough. The location is excellent - a five minute walk from Edinburgh Waverley, the facilities are very good and the food is the best I have experienced in a meetings venue. I run training sessions in Leeds, London and Birmingham as well as Edinburgh and this is by far the most welcoming. All the staff are exceptionally helpful. Thank you particularly to Sarah, Stewart, James, Errin and Sam, the chef. The accommodation is good, particularly now there have been some renovation works undertaken. Our delegates always state that they love coming to the venue, particularly because of the food. Sadly, our courses have now come to an end in Edinburgh; however, should we ever need a venue in the city again, we would have no hesitation in coming back.

We have held 3 very successful large events at the ECTV. Staff are incredibly helpful and want your day to go as well as possible. We continue to use the ECTV due to its fantastic location and hospitality. We have had great feedback from our delegates on their food and facilities. Last minute issues are not a problem for staff and they will do everything they can to help. I would highly recommend this venue due to the helpfulness of staff, good amenities and facilities. I booked a training room for a small group recently. I'm a regular trainer and presenter and I book lots of venues, this one makes my "A" list. Everything just worked, no stress, ceiling mount projector and PC ready to go, no fiddling with cables and focus, my clients were happy and scored the venue highly. Convenient location, friendly and helpful staff, breaks in a comfortable room not standing in a corridor (why do so many Hotels think that is acceptable?) Nice restaurant area with good catering. I will be returning regularly.

I have run numerous training events, workshops and conferences here over the past decade and have always had great service at a good price in the heart of Edinburgh. I most recently ran the third consecutive year of Scotland's Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Conference at the Edinburgh Training and Conference centre on 23 May '19, and had great food (requested 100% veggie and had positive response from delegates on this) and usual high quality service. The venue is in the historic part of the city (yards from the Royal Mile), so as you would expect the building has character, this does mean the rooms may not be as flexible as big modern (more expensive...) venues. However, I have comfortably run training sessions (up to 25 delegates), workshops (up to 50 delegates) and conferences (up to 120 main room + 3 x breakouts for 25 delegates each) all to good delegate reviews. Over the last few years, Stewart Laing has been my direct contact, at the venue, and he is always happy to help and quick to reply to requests and short notice adjustments. Partly as a result if the venue's quality, Scotland's EIA Conference has grown over its first three years and due to a desire to scale it up to 250 delegates we may have to sadly say goodbye to this venue - for the conference - in 2020. It will, however, remain top of my list for any - up to 125'ish delegate - events that I am organising in and around Edinburgh. Josh Fothergill Founder & Coordinator - Scotland's EIA Conference

Edinburgh Training Centre consistently deliver a quality product. The service is great, staff are knowledgeable and the approach to customer service is to do everything in their power to make the event successful. There are lots of additional features which make the venue popular with both my trainers and customers - bacon roll in the morning, internet access, somewhere to charge your phone - all thought of and provided. We run regular events here and have never been disappointed. Highly recommended.

Attended a medical here for business purposes so it was a central location for the purpose. Excellent location for anyone who doesn't drive as is very close to Waverley Train Station. NCP car park close by as well for any drivers.

I've not hosted any events here, but have attended a fair few and been extremely impressed each time. The variety of rooms and services is almost second-to-none in Edinburgh. The staff are super friendly and always approachable, and they have a nice courtyard at the back for locking up your bike if you have cycled in. What really tops the place off is the quality of the catering arrangements - with Sam the Man rocking the kitchen and cafeteria, you're forever waiting for the next lunch or breakfast break. And inbetween then, every table you pass has some form of baked goods waiting for you to walk by. Definitely makes the day go quicker! Highly recommended for any training or meetings you might be planning.

We have used the Edinburgh Training & Conferencing Centre for many years. Stewart and his team are always welcoming and incredibly efficient. Our conference always run smoothly due to the wonderful facilities and Stuarts keen attention to detail.

Great central location, and excellent facilities available. Coffee lounge is always well stocked, and they even have a freezer full of ice lollies for you to help yourself from, in addition to the usual snacks and refreshments. We attended courses through Elite Training and they were very well run.

The personal service and catering at Edintrain is outstanding and nothing is ever too much trouble for them. We have now ran over 9 training events at this facility and both we, and our clients love it. It's a short walk from Waverley Train station so it's easy for everyone to get to, and we couldn't recommend it highly enough although the homecooking isn't good for your waistline.

Attended a meeting here in bright and airy rooms. Comfortable and quiet, the lunch buffet was really lovely including delicious soup, sandwiches and beautiful little cakes. Enjoyable experience, thank you.

This is a great venue for meetings or conferencing, I attended a lecture here and found the facilities to be excellent. There is a free coffee lounge with a wide choice of fruit and herbal teas as well as coffee and complimentary biscuits. The rooms have WiFi and projectors with pens and paper provided. There are water machines in each room with diluting juice and booked sweets.

The pre- sales support from Dan was excellent and his team were very helpful in ensuring all PCs were set up & ready for us. Lunch arrangements were very efficient & attention to detail was superb. Can't hesitate to recommend Mike Glaire (MD) & his whole team for a fabulous end-to-end experience. Looking forward to returning there soon.

ETCV is my first choice for creativelab training events in Edinburgh. They offer huge array of workspaces, all the hardware I need, technical support, knowledgeable, friendly staff who look after my clients and almost absurdly good food as a bonus! What more could I ask for? Looking forward to working with you again.
