Attention to the minutest detail, fabulous design and expert seamstresses are my experiences from the La Novia team. I have the most stunning dress that has been admired world-wide, and helped make our day perfect. I have highly recommended to friends and family, and would urge anyone looking for their very special dress to pay La Novia a visit. There is a beautiful range to choose from, and the ladies listened to what I had in mind and came up trumps straight away so I wasn't overwhelmed. Personal attention from Liliana was appreciated, especially advice on all the other bits and pieces that make up the bridal outfit. Liliana has a good eye for everything and I would trust her opinion every time.

Thank you so much to Lilliana and the team at La Novia - my wedding dress was absolutely perfect! I had always imagined my dress to have sleeves but after trying multiple on at different shops I could not find any that I liked, Lilliana and team then found the one - perfect shape and detachable sleeves which was so fun at the wedding to have a day and evening look! I had tried a lot of dress shops in London but nothing had really caught my eye and so when I was on a trip to Edinburgh I made a few appointments at dress shops, one being La Novia, and I’m so glad I did. There’s a range of different designers in the shop but the owner, Liliana, also designs her own dresses. Liliana was the one who took my appointment and she was absolutely fantastic, listening to what I liked, which narrowed me into finding my perfect dress. She also knew some adjustments to suggest from listening to what I liked in previous dresses and made alternations to the dress to factor these in. I absolutely loved the mix of classic and clean on the top half of the dress with a more modern, 3D material for the skirt. The service and whole experience was incredible throughout - would highly recommend!

My dress was just perfect (see pictures). Gorgeous and comfy at the same time. The drycleaning service after was phenomenal (my dress was extremely dirty after our rainy garden party) but somehow they managed to get it cleaned. Wide variety of dresses so eventually La Novia was the only shop I visited. Found what I needed :)

I loved my experience with La Novia. I went for my first appointment with only 3 months to go before my wedding. It was an outdoor ceremony in potentially muddy conditions, and I had limited time and a certain budget in mind. Within my first appointment I had the perfect dress, a plan for the alterations and reassurance everything would be sorted well in time for my wedding. From there, the communications were brilliant and generally just easy to get on with everyone I came across in the shop. Thank you again La Novia, I recommend you to everyone!

Liliana's attention to detail is second to none. She calmly worked with me through us postponing our date for a year and me then losing alot of weight before the big day. Nothing was too much trouble and when I returned for a fitting having lost alot of weight, Liliana made perfect suggestions and adjustments to my dress to make it work much better with my new body shape. She really knows what she is talking about! The dress was made beautifully and fit like a glove, it was a dream to wear all day. I had visited some other bridal shops but really felt the personal touch with La Novia that I hadn't felt elsewhere. I cannot recommend La Novia enough. I now can't wait to go and collect my dress and veil after having them cleaned and boxed at La Novia as well. Perfect service from start to finish

It was a dream come true being able to mix and match tops and skirts to be able to design my own bespoke wedding dress which was just perfect for me. There is such a diverse range of dresses and lots of beautiful styles for a modern bride which I loved. Liliana was so helpful and I felt amazing and comfortable in my dress on my wedding day. My dress was really ‘me’ and felt so personal - I couldn’t have loved it more! I had an amazing experience with La Novia and could not recommend them highly enough! Liliana and Natalie were so patient and made the experience so special. They have such an amazing selection of dresses and they were so genuine with their advice and suggestions. I didn't expect to have the 'this is my dress' feeling but I found it in an Oscar Lili design. It is so special having a dress made for you and Liliana was so patient and thorough making sure all the alterations were perfect, and providing great advice on the essential underwear too! I tried on countless dresses in other shops but couldn’t find anything that felt quite right, and several other shops were very pushy with time-sensitive discounts. The staff in La Novia were lovely and helpful, and knowing that the dress was actually made at the shop made it all the more special. The adjustments were perfect first time, and I loved wearing my dress on the big day.

Highly recommend to any brides to be! Dresses are highly customisable, and Liliana is fantastic to work with - took all changes to her design totally in her stride. My wedding date changed three times due to COVID and the team were great with alterations and fitting in new appointments. If it wasn't COVID times, I would have had pals or my mother join me for appointments - but I felt in great hands with the team there and always got great input from Oscar the dalmation! ;-) I am totally delighted with my dress. I would highly recommend La Novia! I’d been a little bit anxious about going dressing shopping as we had about a 9-10 week window between the first appointment and the wedding, and - not knowing much about wedding dress shopping! - I was a bit worried there wouldn’t be enough time to find the dress I really liked! However, Liliana was super and straight away seemed to be able to tell which dress would be perfect for me! When trying on the dress at each of the fittings, Liliana and the team were very friendly and accommodating, and gave us the space to reflect and just enjoy the dress 🙂 I really enjoyed that the dress could have different accessories added to it / taken away to make it look completely different - it felt like two dresses for the price of one - and Liliana was great at picking out the perfect bolero/belt/hair comb/ face mask (covid wedding - need I say more?!) to match my dress and style 🙂 It was an absolute joy to visit La Novia and they really made the whole dress shopping experience wonderful! Also - Oscar the Dalmatian is a sweetheart, and I definitely looked forward to seeing him during our appointments! 🐶

I had an amazing experience getting my wedding dress at La Novia! It was the first shop I went to (after having walked by many times and admiring the dresses in the window) and I didn't need to go anywhere else. Liliana was fabulous and altered the dress so it fit me perfectly. She even made me a mask that matched the dress for my COVID wedding. I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone who needs a wedding dress. Their range is impressive and the shopping experience is very personalized. (Liliana's dog is also precious and perfect if you need a little puppy love).

After trying multiple shops for wedding dresses both in London and Edinburgh, I finally visited La Novia and found the "right" dress within minutes. The dress design and fabric were absolutely gorgeous. I took pictures of the dress and found it hard not to stare at it once I got home! My friends and family also told me the same. My experience at La Novia made a difference in anticipating my wedding day which was largely altered by lockdown restrictions. But at least I had a dress that I loved (well & the man!). Liliana was so kind and flexible, I very much appreciated her help and advice. I wouldn't hesitate AT ALL recommending La Novia for any bride looking for a dress - just give Liliana a call!

I had a fantastic experience shopping at La Novia for my wedding dress. I was engaged in February 2019 and Liliana's shop was the third shop I visited. We had a warm welcome and a glass of fizz on arrival/whilst I tried on dresses. Liliana was very complimentary of all the dresses I tried on but knew at the same time I did, which was the dress for me. I settled with a vintage dress laced with silver and gold. With a turn around of 8 months before I got hitched in Australia, the next few dress fittings and unscheduled visits, because I wanted to amend a few things, were easy and couldn't fault. Liliana and her dressmaker (apologies, your name escapes me) did a fantastic job and were kind enough to package it up in a suitcase for its voyage to Australia. I loved it even more on the day and received so many compliments. I was lucky enough to celebrate our wedding a second time in February and wear the dress again. I had forgotten how beautiful it was and fell in love with it all over again. Excellent service and such beautiful dresses. Can't thank you ladies enough!

I bought my wedding dress from La Novia 4 years ago. Their dress collection was really good, the shop is very nice and more unique than other wedding dress shops, so it doesn´t feel like conveyer belt service. I had no problems with receiving my dress in time. They also offer a dry cleaning and boxing service after, which is very helpful. The reason for giving them 4 stars, not 5, was variable levels of customer service.

I cannot recommend La Novia more, Liliana and her team were all amazing and made the experience so enjoyable. I cannot recommend La Novia more, I found the perfect wedding dress there which was complimented by all my wedding guests, and which I loved. The customer service was amazing, nothing was too much trouble, including slightly altering the fastening of the dress and I never felt rushed out the door. Can not recommend La Novia Bridal highly enough - Lilliana was incredibly helpful throughout and made the whole experience seamless. There was such a great variety of dresses, and the dress I chose was so unique compared to what I had seen elsewhere! Lovely experience trying on dresses for the first time today. The sales girl was so friendly and made me feel at ease. The store itself was beautiful and so cozy on such a cold day. The choice of dresses was brilliant and the sales staff were so willing to let me try on lots of different styles to get an idea of what I liked. I never felt rushed and they even let me pop back in for a second appointment later in the day to try on veils. They gave my mum and I a wonderful first experience and I may even have found 'the one'. I will definitely be returning closer to my wedding date to try and find the dress for my big day.

Offers a reasonable dress selection, which are all fabulous. Great quality fabrics. Offers alteration service, a small selection of veils, shoes and jewelry. Appointment recommended.
