Big Day wedding services were our first choice when choosing a wedding planner. Farooq went out of his way to be able to give our two events the best food and decor. Nothing was impossible with him. Was the best experience anyone can ask for when it comes to a wedding planner and services. All of his staff were so kind, caring, happy and genuinely loved their jobs. The food on both days was outstanding, every guest complimented the food and decor. I would recommend him to anyone planning a wedding.

Excellent service provided by a competent team. Attention to detail is second to none and their ability to overcome any problems in real time is best I've seen. I commissioned their services for 2 days over a weekend - A Friday night Indian wedding party (Ladies Sangeet) in a Town hall and a Wedding celebration the following Sunday at Westerwood Hotel & Spa (Double Tree by Hilton). For the Friday I was initially trying to save money and skim on aspects such as table covers, serving and decorations amongst other minor aspects. After an initial chat with Farooq i decided to go with a comprehensive yet affordable package that would leave all responsibilities up to them. On the day i was blown away! Decorations were beyond what i had envisaged and the staff handled everything from waiting to serving drinks. During the night Farooq was on hand and able to resolve issues quickly and effectively. But most important, i was able to enjoy the night unhindered! For the following Sunday they oversaw preparing the hall, allocating seat names, serving food and ensuring a smooth operation. Again, like Friday i was taken back by how slick and elegant everything looked. The day couldn't have gone better. On the day there were minor issues with certain aspects that the hotel was in charge of but Big Day wedding services stepped in and handled them even though it was out of their remit. Really impressive! I would hire their services again in a heartbeat and not simply for a wedding but any type of celebration. Thanks to Farooq and the team for a wonderful 2 days

Big Day were very welcoming and friendly. I had my wedding during the pandemic and they were instrumental in guiding me through the restrictions. They had advised throughout the process on decor/food/timings, Farooq was not shy to assist which helped us shape our big day with ease. He had given us a choice from his wide range of decor (suitable for all requrements), negotiated with dozen venues on our behalf and was very comfortable to communicate with. We had discussed pricing details previously and Farooq was very considerate - he did not allow me to cut corners with decor/food as he wanted me to have a great function but opted instead to be very understanding with pricing/payment. On the day, Farooq and his team took the full responsiblity for my family and I. Not once did I worry about the day which he had organised like clockwork. He had personally oversaw the wedding and made sure the guests were taken care of. I would definitely recommend them as I met with 3 other wedding planners who could not meet the above expectations. We as a family would highly recommend Farooq and Big Day Events. We had our wedding at the start of June and Farooq was always accommodating, responsive- never made us feel like anything we asked for (including advice) was ever too much and delivered in testing times. The venue looked fantastic- he delivered exactly what we imagined in line with our theme and everyone commented on how special the decor was. Farooq delivered a wedding to remember for my Sons Walima. He guided us step by step all the way in choosing the right decor, table settings, crockery and stage and provided excellent professional service start to finish. His staff are very friendly and experienced and exceeded our expectations. Food was served promptly and hot even though we were running late due to the arrival of my guests. This was our second time using Big Day Wedding Services after previously using them in 2010. It was a no brainer to go with them 10 years later for our second family wedding as we were absolutely delighted with the service received the first time around. Farooq and his team were absolutely exceptional in every manner. They pay incredible attention to detail and have this innate ability to ensure everything runs smoothly and take away all your stress. No problem provides any obstacle for the team and Farooq always has everything in hand and a solution for everything. The fact that he has retained many of his staff members since the companies inception is very telling in itself!
