Can't recommend these talented musicians enough. They played for our family and friends for 4 hours at our celebration of Love & Life at the gorgeous House for an Art Lover in Glasgow. Everyone was blown away by the variety of the music which appealed to all ages and tastes - in particular my 9 month old granddaughter! We were all captivated and yet it didn't distract from us being together and mixing and chatting. Thank you for making our celebration so so special.

Highly recommend. We used Capella for our wedding in Oct 2022. David was very professional, reliable and helpful during all communications prior to the day (even with some of my last minute emails). Song requests were no bother. On the day it was clear we had booked amazingly talented musicians. Great for the ceremony and cocktail hour. Our guests loved it as well! Couldn’t have picked better.

We booked Capella to play at our wedding in April 2021, however, due to covid we had to reschedule our wedding until April 2022. David was so helpful from our first email to all the emails changing dates and selecting the music we wanted them to play for our guests. I highly recommend Capella for events to anyone, our guests complimented them to both my husband and I all day and well into our evening. The quality of work these guys produce is outstanding and I cannot wait to get our videos back to hear their music all over again. Was lovely to listen to them playing while we were having our photos taken too as it made it all go by so quickly. Will definitely book Capella for future events. We hired the Capella String Quartet for our wedding and they were absolutely amazing!! They played such a range of songs and it added such a wonderful atmosphere to our whole day. We had many comments that people felt like they were in Brigerton and couldn't believe how beautiful the music was. Capella played throughout our day and were really flexible with what songs we wanted. During our wedding service when we were signing the register it took a bit longer than we expected- no problem they were on hand to play another wonderful piece of music to cover the time without any hesitation. We also loved the electric set that they did at the end of the day before the band took over- something fun and different! A special thank you to David who we met beforehand to organise all the music. Highly highly recommend.

We hired Capella to play at our wedding - they were absolutely fantastic. Capella were friendly, professional and very quick to responding to all of my queries in the run up to the wedding. Capella were accommodating, supporting pretty much every song I suggested for my aisle walk, even agreeing to time a particular song for my exact entrance. We had no intention of having a violinist at our wedding but we met David at an open evening at Boclair House and when I heard him playing I had to go over and chat to him. He was so friendly and answered all my questions. I told him the song I wanted to walk down the aisle to and he was able to play it to let me hear. That was me sold! It was so beautiful. Communication with David was quick and easy. He was very accommodating with us and the time frames we wanted him to play for. We enjoyed looking through his list of songs and choosing some as a playlist. He was also able to make some specific requests for our ceremony. David played beautifully during our ceremony and dinner. He was the addition we didn’t know our wedding needed and I am so glad we saw him that evening. The beautiful music played by The Capella string trio at our wedding at Boclair House Hotel was truly the icing on the cake for our special day we really can recommend them! We wondered if we were being over indulgent initially but we are so glad we booked them in advance and they were still available! They arranged Aerosmith’s Don’t Want To Miss A Thing for us to walk down the aisle to which was just the perfect way to start such a romantic and unique day for us. Our guests loved the music played after the ceremony too during canapés and photographs - it was our own live concert to entertain our family and friends , many of whom are also musicians! Capella are fantastic! The extensive back catalog of pieces they were able to play was brilliant and we particularly liked the mixture of classical and contemporary music (really suited to strings!)which suited our varied musical tastes and catered to guests of all generations! Capella were also extremely good at keeping in touch by email in advance to update us as the Covid situation evolved.

Capella outstanding perfomance at my wedding at the weekend. Previously I came across them at my brothers wedding a few years back. Beautiful music and fantastic feedback from the guests. They loved all the chosen songs played so well. I absoutley loved my track whilst walking down the aisle ❤️ which i have replayed a number of times thanks to a friend who managed to take a video. The team was great and David was awesome. Kept in touch all the way upto the wedding and once again i will continue to recommend. Thank you!!

It’s hard to put into words in how amazing these guys were, I initially met David in 2018 at a wedding fayre, and new straight away I wanted them for my wedding, unfortunately I had to cancel my wedding twice and had it this year in July 2022, There was several emails between myself and David and they were always answered so promptly and couldn’t have been anymore helpful and reassuring , I had Capella play for guests arriving , for me walking down the aisle, I chose poppiholla by chicane and it sounded amazing , I then had them collaborate with my band singer to play power of love while he sang , and that was another WOW, they continued to play for my guests during photos and everyone just loved the songs they played too, later on after the meal I had more of an electric set done by them, which included more dance type music , this just got the guests all ready for the evening and I’m so glad I booked this part, everyone still talks about them, they are professional, and incredible musicians and most of all lovely friendly people, thanks for making my day perfect x

The Cappella Quartet played at our wedding. They were brilliant- they played before and during the ceremony and we had lots of guests comment on how they started the party before the wedding even began- I'm just sorry I missed it! The musicians were all amazing players and extremely well presented. Shout out to David for advising me what music would work well for strings when I was being indecisive, and all the arrangements were fantastic. I couldn't recommend the Capella quartet more for any event- thank you!

We recently booked Capella for our wedding at House for an Art Lover (wonderful venue if anyone is looking!!) and they didn't disappoint. They played a perfect mixture of classical and modern (our guests loved waiting for the next tune so they could guess what it was!) and were more than happy to work with us to produce a soundtrack to our wedding. They were also more than happy to include a few arrangements that weren't on the list. They admin side of things was always done in a timeously manner; that side of things just flowed effortlessly and is important and just the service you need when planning a wedding. I have no hesitation in recommending them they definitely were a factor in the success of our day.

We'd recommend the String Quartet to any friends and family for weddings or events. The quality of music was excellent and they played a great mix of classic and modern music for our reception with very little direction from us. Due to covid restrictions they had to adapt to how they would normally play and were very accommodating, engaging and generally helpful whilst we were planning. I used Capella String Quartet for a corporate event. I was very impressed not only by their professional performance musically but in everything they did leading up to the event and on the day itself of course. All the musicians were well presented and very talented. They showed up early to the event to set up and sound check so no stress on my part worrying about them coming or not!!! The music was well received by everybody and I still have people telling me how much they enjoyed the music and how different it was. Thank you David for making this an effortless and enjoyable experience all round. I'm still listening to your promotional CD now. Very good indeed. They did beautiful arrangements of the Skye Boat Song and of Skippinish Walking on the Waves just for us a ; creating the perfect soundtrack for our day and providing a wonderful accompaniment for the ceremony. David was really friendly and flexible from the minute we first spoke and I was really grateful that despite Storm Dennis they still trekked all the way out to Argyll for us. I was so impressed by these guys at my wedding. From first contact until the actual day it was a pleasure dealing with them. Very professional and friendly throughout, and very reasonably priced, especially considering that included in the price is two original arrangements of your choosing. I was in and out of the drinks reception for photos etc, but they waited until I was in the room to play my requests.
