Well, I wholeheartedly enjoyed the bowling. It was indeed fun. What basically put me off was when I went to the loo. It’s dirty, dusty and disgusting. I was disappointed. It had hair on the floor and on the urinals. The floor was slippery of urine. It seems the bathrooms were probably cleaned only at the beginning of last year. More improvements is really needed. I regret using the bathroom. I’d go back again if I had to but the loo hygiene should really be attended to..!!

Great morning at Hollywood Bowl. Bowling was great and the slushes and ice blasts were great. Plenty of amusements and the kids won some sweets and goodies with their winning tickets. Highly recommended. Very clean and the staff were very helpful and great customer service.

Have been here seceral times. Brilliant plsce to enjoy. Have had corporate parties. They have a small bar with food. Pool tables n other game machines inside. Sad that they did not offer any corporate packages that time, but everyone had fun.

Hollywood Bowl has had a serious glow up since I last went many years ago. An absolute staple of the Quay, this place still holds up. Had a date night here, 3 rounds of bowling, drinks, and some games. Had an absolute blast of a night! Staff were really kind and helpful, and really made the experience a breeze. Won a giant bear, made for an awkward taxi ride home. 10/10 experience.

A really busy place on a Friday night with a wide range of folk. There are a lot of games and puggies in addition to bowling. It's really noisy but if you are ok with projecting your voice then you can chat. The bowling itself is your usual big standard. You can take your drinks and snacks to your lane and staff seem friendly enough.

This was fantastic bowling. Loved it. They've got lots of amusements there that are like 2 player so 2 folk can enjoy them and lots of slot machines also. Great location too with plenty parking. Highly recommended

It was an early visit and was quite quiet, staff were efficient, bowling equipment all seemed to work, place was clean and had lots of well placed hand sanitiser. The claw machines though like most other places are sadly set only set to payout after a certain amount of cash has been put in which is a shame. The kids had fun though

Really enjoyed our time here compared to other bowling alleys in the area. Much nicer inside and the drinks menu was cute and enjoyable. I would just say that the girls at the main till/pay point seemed super uninterested, especially when I asked for a plaster as I snapped my nail and was bleeding they continued on gossiping about a colleague while I tended to myself. The staff on the bar however are lovely with great customer service!

Me and my snivelling snotter (daughter) Just popped in, we didn't play bowls but had a expensive bit of fun playing the amusements, you don't really win anything at these places ,but they have one of them VR things witch I thought was excellent. My sweetheart was embarrassed because her dad was very vocal, and it did feel very life like. We really enjoyed the vr thing but the rest was as you expect a money pit. With pretty much no results.

I'll give it five stars simply because it is everything you'd hope for a place like this. You'll have arcades (most of them focused on giving you tickets, there's no Street Fighter or Tekken), you'll have some pool tables and the bowling (which will ALWAYS BE FULL if you don't reserve your place at least one day earlier). And finally, you'll have a decent restaurant serving decent meals. I went there and had a good time. Recommended!

Best place for bowling, many more games you have got air tennis. Moreover even one could mix his peg or take pitcher which is available for economical price. There are some games you coupons which you could redeem by play more games or by collectinf a gift even bike racing is awesome. Bowling one can form a team and play. I love billards and bowling a lots so I comment on that more. Best place to take your kids around.

Big improvement since last visit. Lanes for bowling separated very well and the IT system excellent on each lane. Amusements mainly games which in my opinion very good. Staff excellent and big change since last time we as a family attended this place. All staff pleasant at bar, bowling and anyone one who I approached could not have been more helpful in friendly manner, well worth a family outing and will return.

Went here with a large group of friends and had an absolutely terrific time. It does seem that the venue could make some minor improvements as COVID regulations aren't required any longer. Specifically, my group of 14 I think person's, were unfortunately divided by a large glass and wooden panel. We could see each other, but not converse through the panel, so it did in effect split our group into 2. That being said, the staff were friendly and the venue was well kept. Bowling balls of many sizes were available, as well as pool tables, and other entertainment. Drinks were reasonably priced as well. I will definitely return in the future, though I'll need to get over the embarrassment of losing in the last round before I do ;)

Great place for family or as a date. The pricing is a bit iffy as all deals are when booked online which catches you out. They often run out by the time you are booking too. The staff however are great, fast to respond to an issues and very patient with fussy littles. We always stop here for an out of the box date night or family fun day.

An Overall an ok experience. The lady at the desk took my name and told us what lane we waited for 5mins for it to actually start said to another worker that it hadn’t started yet and he said it would be a minute however it turned into another 5mins. Then another 4 people came into the lane and said they were in this lane but the lady said that we were, both of us were confused and we had to go and say to the desk the lady then turned around and said “no yous have already been” when I said I booked for 11:00 here is my email finally got it sorted but when it went onto our second game the same thing happened waited for 5mins for it to get sorted. It would have been better if there was a bit more communication and staff were more alert.

Fun evening with the family! This place is a well oiled machine, very organized and efficient. The staff sanitized the station before and after us, and there are dividers between players of different groups. We have booked as it was fairly busy, but I am sure you can just walk in. Good times!

Staff were very helpful. Liked how alternate lanes had bowling balls with different markings so you only touched the ones for your lane. Food was rather slow coming out but they were busy. Overall I would definitely go again.

If you get here early enough there's plenty to do and no queue. Usual games, air hockey, claw machines and of course ten pin bowling! Book bowling days in advance as spaces go fast. Bonus is free on site parking.

Had a super time at Hollywood Bowl today. The atmosphere was good and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Amy was particularly kind and helpful to our youngest girl and her friend. We enjoyed our food which was washed down with a very tasty coffee.

The place was really busy, we took our grandaughter who's only five years old. The queue at reception was a long wait, and you still had to rejoin when your booking for bowling became available. Having had multiple rubbish experiences at the Coatbridge one we went here instead. Far better lay out in general, friendlier staff, everything seemed to be cleaner and better looked after, the VIP bit was away from the rest which made sense to have it at the end. All round better experience. The arcade here is limited compared to the other one but that's not the reason we go so didn't matter. Only one issue and reason they didn't get 5 stars is a guy was hoovering right by where we were without asking us to move or whatever surely this should have been done before they opened or the night before since we were the first folk in. Would definitely go again. Worth travelling a little further and paying a little more.

Was in last night with some work collegues for work night out and had such a good night . The service was top drawer from start to finish considering it was very busy . The girl that was in the arcade , i think her name was Jillien was such a great help and continued to have a smile on her face even though I had to ask her to fix her a few games. Think we have found our new place to come for some competitive work fun nights out .

A fun arcade to head to with friends or family. Student bowling rates are 9.3 quid for 2 games, which is fairly reasonable. Overall, would recommend visiting.

Had a fun night , staff were all nice . White haired girl at the bar was very helpful. Only niggle was a couple of times on the lane , the machine missed placing a pin. But since we were only playing for fun it made little difference. Over all a good time.

Although very busy as would be expected for a Saturday night, nothing was too much for the staff. There were plenty of staff onhand to assist at our lane as well as to take our drink orders. The staff also remained cheerful and polite despite the pressure. Well done to them. It was nice to see a place so well run.

Nice to finally get back to some leisure activities. The HWB has reopened at a limited capacity, but this makes your experience miles better than ever before. No more screaming children running around concourses or in the amusements. More tentative cleaning and overall a more peaceful environment. Could do with more cleaning products on the lanes for customers (Blue roll is a must for bowling balls, clean inside the holes prior to use!) Few weeks and it will be back to normal I hope.

A nice redesign of the place plus improvement to the lighting. It's quiet a busy place it's better to either call or place booking for bowling. There's facility for different games for kids and adults. There are pool tables located just before bowling area. Reasonable prices and check you might get a deal depending on the time / season of the year. Cash machine is available just next to entrance door and there's facility to change notes to coins within the building.

The good thing is that if you do wait, theres a place to drink and eat for parents as well as a decent amount of arcade games for the kids to play. Quite a nice bowling alley, kept to a high standard. There is a wide range of activities such as pool, arcades and food. I would not recommend buying food or drink from here as it is very expensive! The computer for inputting names etc is very easy to use.

Gaming machines were not all working properly, and to their credit they refunded me for playing the battle station with the message in the with a message to calibrate it in the middle of the screen. Bowling was good, no issues there. Didn't eat or drink so I can't rate it.

The staff have been very helpful even in Busier times. I come here at least 3 times a week and almost always my experience here are good. However sometimes the machine becomes faulty and takes your money and doesn't count it ( especially because the changes exchanged were given in 1 pound coins or 10p coins) in this case, the staff has been helpful in recovering the money. Sometimes the bowling runway becomes faulty and doesn't stack up properly or the pool tables are missing a ball here. But apart from machine errors,which can be made up for, The staff has been super helpful and friendly (especially if you are paying for VIP bowling lane!) and the place especially the toilet is always kept clean and tidy.

I got pressganged into going here with some colleagues from work who needed an extra body on board to control a horde of children. Which was lucky for me as I like bowling and haven't been in years. The kids had a great time in the arcade winning wheelbarrows-ful of vouchers that they could exchange for a keyring or something, and everyone enjoyed the bowling. We had a couple of niggles getting our lane working, but the staff were helpful. The food was pricey (as it always is at these places) but decent enough and it was pretty much all devoured which is a good sign.

Was pretty busy but we had booked in advance. We went to the bar to order drinks and it was very slow. One of the girls behind the bar didn't know what Oasis was even though it was listed on the menu as being served here. There was a group of men buying lots of shots at one time, and I dont think the bar was used to this kind of request. If you are in the middle of a game you can get service at your lane which is much quicker. Its great that you can choose to put bumpers up for individual people. It means you can make it more fair for the kids in your group . Not alot of space at the lane for chatting but there was enough room to shuffle past when it was your turn.
