Well, I wholeheartedly enjoyed the bowling. It was indeed fun. What basically put me off was when I went to the loo. It’s dirty, dusty and disgusting. I was disappointed. It had hair on the floor and on the urinals. The floor was slippery of urine. It seems the bathrooms were probably cleaned only at the beginning of last year. More improvements is really needed. I regret using the bathroom. I’d go back again if I had to but the loo hygiene should really be attended to..!!

Still being refurbished so that was a little odd and confusing as you walk in. Apart from that, staff were great and had a fantastic time bowling with friends. Gave us a feeling of normality haven't had in awhile ☺️ Ps I had to use the disabled toilet and get a key from staff due to refurbishment which is fine just letting folk know ☺️ (keyring was adorable!)

Had an absolutely great night tonight, called up earlier to check availability for a lane for two and just walked in at 22:50 and was greeted by a wonderful staff member called Amy who helped us out with everything, honestly made our full night as she was so nice and offered us a really good deal on bowling and drinks 100% will not go anywhere else to go bowling if service continues to be that great… thanks so much Amy!!! Deserving of a 5 star just for the service alone

Was good, only two issues. The floor in the bathrooms was covered in pee which was absolutely disgusting and also the lanes were way too narrow to even get 7 humans in!

Staff were absolutely brilliant with my nephews, spoiling them with prizes for the handful of tokens we won in the arcade after bowling. Tall guy with the wrist cast on was a particular credit to your business - engaging, friendly and kind at what can be a strenuous time of year in the hospitality industry.

Hollywood Bowl has had a serious glow up since I last went many years ago. An absolute staple of the Quay, this place still holds up. Had a date night here, 3 rounds of bowling, drinks, and some games. Had an absolute blast of a night! Staff were really kind and helpful, and really made the experience a breeze. Won a giant bear, made for an awkward taxi ride home. 10/10 experience.

Was in last night with some work collegues for work night out and had such a good night . The service was top drawer from start to finish considering it was very busy . The girl that was in the arcade , i think her name was Jillien was such a great help and continued to have a smile on her face even though I had to ask her to fix her a few games. Think we have found our new place to come for some competitive work fun nights out .

A fun arcade to head to with friends or family. Student bowling rates are 9.3 quid for 2 games, which is fairly reasonable. Overall, would recommend visiting.

Had a fun night , staff were all nice . White haired girl at the bar was very helpful. Only niggle was a couple of times on the lane , the machine missed placing a pin. But since we were only playing for fun it made little difference. Over all a good time.

Although very busy as would be expected for a Saturday night, nothing was too much for the staff. There were plenty of staff onhand to assist at our lane as well as to take our drink orders. The staff also remained cheerful and polite despite the pressure. Well done to them. It was nice to see a place so well run.

Nice to finally get back to some leisure activities. The HWB has reopened at a limited capacity, but this makes your experience miles better than ever before. No more screaming children running around concourses or in the amusements. More tentative cleaning and overall a more peaceful environment. Could do with more cleaning products on the lanes for customers (Blue roll is a must for bowling balls, clean inside the holes prior to use!) Few weeks and it will be back to normal I hope.

Great place to spend an hour or two. Family offer is definitely worth the money and the systems they use for bowling are state of the art. Drinks and food were good too and prices are reasonable. The arcade needs some modernising but keeps the kids at bay for a little while.

A nice redesign of the place plus improvement to the lighting. It's quiet a busy place it's better to either call or place booking for bowling. There's facility for different games for kids and adults. There are pool tables located just before bowling area. Reasonable prices and check you might get a deal depending on the time / season of the year. Cash machine is available just next to entrance door and there's facility to change notes to coins within the building.

If its rainy and on a weekend, call in advance and make reservations. We got the around 5pm and they said it was going to be 45min till the next open lane. The good thing is that if you do wait, theres a place to drink and eat for parents as well as a decent amount of arcade games for the kids to play. Nice place if you're visiting and need to get indoors.

A really busy place on a Friday night with a wide range of folk. There are a lot of games and puggies in addition to bowling. It's really noisy but if you are ok with projecting your voice then you can chat. The bowling itself is your usual big standard. You can take your drinks and snacks to your lane and staff seem friendly enough.

My daughter and her friends celebrated her 11th birthday here, we didn't book at as party but the staff where so helpful when they saw it was her birthday they came around with the price box and let all the girls choose something. Just played the pool tables which were in decent nick. The only real issue is the tables we're a little close together but would only affect larger numbers of people hanging around them. The bowling looked good and plenty of people were having fun so might try that out soon.

Easter school break I took my 3 nieces, whilst they enjoyed themselves, I am not so happy about prices £50 for an hours entertainment seemed a bit steep and that doesn't include the price of the drinks which their mother thankfully bought. Surely a place like this should be doing more for families and encouraging them to return. Customer loyalty should be encouraged in order to get people to return. The lanes were fast and well polished so that's a good point

Quite a nice bowling alley, kept to a high standard. There is a wide range of activities such as pool, arcades and food. I would not recommend buying food or drink from here as it is very expensive! The computer for inputting names etc is very easy to use.

Gaming machines were not all working properly, and to their credit they refunded me for playing the battle station with the message in the with a message to calibrate it in the middle of the screen. Bowling was good, no issues there. Didn't eat or drink so I can't rate it.

The staff have been very helpful even in Busier times. I come here at least 3 times a week and almost always my experience here are good. However sometimes the machine becomes faulty and takes your money and doesn't count it ( especially because the changes exchanged were given in 1 pound coins or 10p coins) in this case, the staff has been helpful in recovering the money. Sometimes the bowling runway becomes faulty and doesn't stack up properly or the pool tables are missing a ball here. But apart from machine errors,which can be made up for, The staff has been super helpful and friendly (especially if you are paying for VIP bowling lane!) and the place especially the toilet is always kept clean and tidy.

I always have a good night at Hollywood Bowl. Unfortunately, on my last visit they were very understaffed. This lead to 20 minutes waiting at the bar for a drink, which was frustrating. The toilets were disgusting and there was food and drink leftovers all over the place. The staff were doing their best but there just wasn't enough of them to deal with a busy Friday night.

Had a really fantastic time here at the bowling alley. Played two games, won the first and lost the second unfortunately - lots of spares in the first but it just wouldn't happen in the second. Some really cool lighting on the alleys made for a great atmosphere, and a good variety of other entertainment available e.g. arcade games. Disappointing that there was no dance mat, however did not detract too much from the overall experience - still five stars.

Even you have a lot of parking available as well all the time. Area is quite lighting through out night and even you have a subway station next to it in case you want to travel around. Food and drinks are expensive and there's not a lot by way of options for vegetarians and vegans. Bowling is pretty pricey, the arcade games are about £1 a go. Bar has been pretty understaffed every time I've been. Take ID. I'm nearly 30 and I get IDed every time.

I got pressganged into going here with some colleagues from work who needed an extra body on board to control a horde of children. Which was lucky for me as I like bowling and haven't been in years. The kids had a great time in the arcade winning wheelbarrows-ful of vouchers that they could exchange for a keyring or something, and everyone enjoyed the bowling. We had a couple of niggles getting our lane working, but the staff were helpful. The food was pricey (as it always is at these places) but decent enough and it was pretty much all devoured which is a good sign.

I remember going to bowling alleys years ago thinking these run down places wont be here for long. Wow was I suprised with our visit, the arcades are great with well known brands and mobile games in arcade form. The alleys were spot on however being able to find the exact ball you want is a struggle. They have VIP lanes which looked funky. The place was buzzing.

Really enjoyed our time here compared to other bowling alleys in the area. Much nicer inside and the drinks menu was cute and enjoyable. I would just say that the girls at the main till/pay point seemed super uninterested, especially when I asked for a plaster as I snapped my nail and was bleeding they continued on gossiping about a colleague while I tended to myself. The staff on the bar however are lovely with great customer service!

It was fantastic to have kids party there but the balls are heavy and kids may get hurt in fingers. Supervision is super necessary, atleast one adult per game. Sometimes kids hit the ball thinking it as a football. The staff should be atleast 1 on 10. Kids food was good. The party table for kids should be separate from the bowling alley.

Had a fantastic night at Hollywood bowl with my family, was looked after really well with staff, the waiter went the extra mile to help us all feel comfortable especially my nephew who is autistic who struggles with loud noises and couldn't sit still and enjoy the bowling but our waiter somehow managed to get ear deafenders which helped my nephew to enjoy his night and have fun, fantastic night highly recommended it.

Was pretty busy but we had booked in advance. We went to the bar to order drinks and it was very slow. One of the girls behind the bar didn't know what Oasis was even though it was listed on the menu as being served here. There was a group of men buying lots of shots at one time, and I dont think the bar was used to this kind of request. If you are in the middle of a game you can get service at your lane which is much quicker. Its great that you can choose to put bumpers up for individual people. It means you can make it more fair for the kids in your group . Not alot of space at the lane for chatting but there was enough room to shuffle past when it was your turn.

Good facilities and friendly staff. Some practicalities: If you have suitable shoes (eg. trainers or something that won't just slip off) you don't need to wear bowling shoes. Also, the bumpers can be set up to be up or down for each player (if you're a wimp). And the Pacman air hockey is worth a shot =]

Went here with a large group of friends and had an absolutely terrific time. It does seem that the venue could make some minor improvements as COVID regulations aren't required any longer. Specifically, my group of 14 I think person's, were unfortunately divided by a large glass and wooden panel. We could see each other, but not converse through the panel, so it did in effect split our group into 2. That being said, the staff were friendly and the venue was well kept. Bowling balls of many sizes were available, as well as pool tables, and other entertainment. Drinks were reasonably priced as well. I will definitely return in the future, though I'll need to get over the embarrassment of losing in the last round before I do ;)

An Overall an ok experience. The lady at the desk took my name and told us what lane we waited for 5mins for it to actually start said to another worker that it hadn’t started yet and he said it would be a minute however it turned into another 5mins. Then another 4 people came into the lane and said they were in this lane but the lady said that we were, both of us were confused and we had to go and say to the desk the lady then turned around and said “no yous have already been” when I said I booked for 11:00 here is my email finally got it sorted but when it went onto our second game the same thing happened waited for 5mins for it to get sorted. It would have been better if there was a bit more communication and staff were more alert.

Great way to spend a day out with the kids.

Having had multiple rubbish experiences at the Coatbridge one we went here instead. Far better lay out in general, friendlier staff, everything seemed to be cleaner and better looked after, the VIP bit was away from the rest which made sense to have it at the end. All round better experience. The arcade here is limited compared to the other one but that's not the reason we go so didn't matter. Only one issue and reason they didn't get 5 stars is a guy was hoovering right by where we were without asking us to move or whatever surely this should have been done before they opened or the night before since we were the first folk in. Would definitely go again. Worth travelling a little further and paying a little more.

A good place to go bowling. Not so good for spotting Hollywood celebrities. Perhaps it was the time of day that I went but I saw only: a couple of Baldwins, Gary Busey, and someone that looked a bit like Tom Cruise-through-a-hall-of-mirrors. Does he have a tall, thin cousin with a longer convex face?

It's a tense, unnerving ride that accomplishes its goal of translating the first-person experience of bowling better than any sport movies that have come before it. It's a level up.

Could not arrange a birthday party as they were booked up. Booked a bowling lane instead but felt like a party 🎉. This was one of the best venues I have ever been in, staff were first class, food was fabulous. I will be back at Springfield Quay very soon 🤗
