V. C.I organised a launch event at No 18 and it was the ideal venue. Bright and modern but still retaining the character of the original church building. Accessible with a lift to upper floor. The staff were very friendly and attentive, Andy and Lisa helped with everything and hosted the refreshments after. I would definitely recommend
E. B.Have been going to an art class at No 18 for a wee while . Also went to a pottery session there last year with the lady from 'The wee Mud Hut.' People at the venue very friendly and helpful . There are various other groups. We all get signed in at front desk. Tea and coffee available at our break on a do it yourself basis. There is a wee kitchen and seating area. Our class is Imaginative Art. Tutor George Price.

M. F.I recently hired the East Lounge Hall for an event called An Introduction to Byron Katie. Gemma (venue manager) was extremely helpful from start to finish.
I met with her several months previous when I was seeking out a suitable contemporary venue. Gemma showed me around the various halls and discussed the costs and services available. We discussed in detail the help and support I could access along with the hire. Gemma set up my eventbrite page link and my event was sold out in just over a week ! This was extremely helpful as I hadn’t used eventbrite before. Gemma also created a poster for my event and placed it around the venue as well as on the venue and healthy and happy social media links !
I also booked in to the venue a week prior to the event to run through my power point presentation and Gemma was there to support me with the technical stuff.
We ran through lighting and sound preferences. Gemma also arranged technical support and a microphone to improve the sound for my audience. This was very helpful indeed.
On the night, the staff demonstrated great hospitality offering tea/coffee and biscuits to a full house of guests and they were also an emotional support to me!
I can honesty say that No.18 is a fantastic venue to hire and I highly recommend it. The cost is very reasonable considering the building is new and the facilities that come with it are outstanding. I had use of a large projector screen and a lot of technical equipment.
It is truly a great treasure !
