So happy to have said 'yes to the dress' at Sarah Louise. The shop had the most beautiful selection of dresses, probably the best I had seen out of the few shops I had been to. I had a really lovely shopping experience all thanks to Amanda. You are amazing at your job! How you got a dress on several sizes too small and make it look good, I will never know! I'm not a great shopper but felt completely comfortable and at ease with you. Thank you so much. Also worth noting that I took plenty of time deciding and didn't feel pressured or rushed at all! Can't wait to see my dress and get all fitted up. Thanks again everyone.

I had seen a dress online and fallen in love with it, but Sarah Louise no longer stocked it. However, when I contacted them to ask about it, they made arrangements to borrow it from True Bride so I could try it on. On the day, Anne- Marie was brilliant. She was very patient with how indecisive I was (I ended up loving lots of different dresses!) and really helped me with my decision. I ended up saying yes to the very dress I had loved online. The whole experience was wonderful and the staff could not have been nicer to me and my party. They truly went above and beyond and I can not recommend them highly enough!

I contacted Sarah Louise bridal months ago to see if they were stocking a particular dress and they were incredible from then. I felt very nervous going to try on dresses as I would be quite curvy, I arrived at the store yesterday and instantly felt at ease! Annmarie is absolutely fantastic at what she does and is a credit to the store. She made me feel amazing and the other members of staff did too! After a recommendation, I went to Sarah Louise Bridal to find my wedding dress. Thanks to Amanda, the appointment was very relaxed and I felt very comfortable trying on the different dresses! Lorraine and her team have been nothing but amazing from my first visit to the shop to picking up my dress after it had been cleaned and boxed after my wedding was over. The shop is well stocked with plenty of choices for all budgets and I found the perfect dress for me very quickly. I also got my bridesmaids dresses there and they were all very well looked after too. My wedding was rearranged 3 times due to Covid and they were extremely understanding and made the changes for me very easily. Cannot recommend Sarah Louise Bridal highly enough!

What an amazing experience I had at Sarah Louise Bridal today. I messaged the store on social media beforehand as I was nervous about trying dresses on, being very self conscious of my shape after 2 kids. The message interaction with the store left me feeling a bit more confident and comfortable about my visit. On the day, Annmarie was so welcoming and made me feel so relaxed, allowing me to choose dresses to try at my own pace. She didn't once make me feel embarrassed or conscious of how I looked and thanks to her guidance I found my absolute dream dress (that she actually took off a mannequin for me to try!) and a beautiful veil to match. The girls in the store all said hi and complimented me on how I looked in the dress, again making me feel so much at ease and so comfortable. Cannot recommend this store enough. I’m still on a high after getting my dream dress at Sarah Louise Bridal yesterday. This was all thanks to Amanda and the wonderful team. Amanda was amazing! I felt like I clicked with her right from the beginning. She is so warm and friendly, professional, as well as very knowledgeable. She made me feel so comfortable and was very encouraging and reassuring. She listened to me and knew exactly what it was I was looking for. There was never any pressure. She made me feel as if I was shopping with a friend rather than a “sales” person which I absolutely loved and wasn’t my experience in other shops. I simply cannot thank Amanda enough. Lorraine was also extremely friendly, welcoming and accommodating. The ladies couldn’t do enough for us. Thank you so much for making my “say yes to the dress” moment so special. I have had the pleasure of visiting Sarah Louise Bridal on several occasions over the last couple of months, with each experience being exceptional. My first experience was when I was in choosing my bridesmaids dresses. The service was amazing, we didn’t feel rushed and nothing was too much of a bother. The range of dresses (bridal and bridesmaids) were great, we had a section of the shop all to ourselves and the team were so knowledgeable and helpful in every single way. So much so, that I wished I’d bought my wedding dress with them and have asked them to do my alterations. Loraine (owner) and her team, know exactly how to make every single person that walk through that door feel individual and special. After going to a few shops for my wedding dress, I was starting to worry that I wasn’t going to be happy with anything! I went to Sarah Louise as my third shop and instantly felt relaxed and so comfortable with everything and the full experience. Absolutely fantastic bridal shop. I highly recommend! Store was clean and fresh with beautiful changing rooms and mirrors! And a lovely seating area for my family to sit while we tried on dresses. I went into the store very nervous as I am not a girly girl and every member of staff made me feel relaxed and comfortable. Nothing was too much of an ask, and they helped me in choosing the correct dress and gave me some great advice. I had an idea of what I wanted and they made sure they got the dress that was the best match to what I had in my head! I got two bridesmaids dresses which were stunning and again ordered and fitted. I paid a little extra for Sarah Louise bridal to store my dress until closer to the big day which was a big stress relief when organising the wedding!

I visited this store as a bridesmaid twice a few years ago, and the girls were fab each time! That’s from the minute we first walked in to look right up through fittings and alterations. The dresses were incredible on both wedding days! I visited the store last week again with my friend who’s getting married and fellow bridesmaids, and once again the staff couldn’t have been more helpful! They showed interest in us from start to finish, asked questions about what we had in mind and then allowed us to look through and select what took our fancy. I loved this because we didn’t feel pressured. We got to try on a variety of dresses we chose and on seeing the styles that suited us or what we liked/disliked, the staff then used their own knowledge to recommend other dresses for us. And they were spot on! The variety of dresses they have is superb!! And they also have all the colour swatches for you to look through as well, which is great if the style you like isn’t there in the colour you were thinking of. It was a great experience, I’m a little shy about my figure and honestly felt so at ease in there, they made me feel beautiful! The bride had also picked her dress in there before our appointment and asked if she could show us, the girls went out their way to accommodate that and omg I’m so glad they did, tears all round, she looked absolutely stunning, and the veil/headband that Lorraine recommended to go with the dress just finished it off! Couldn’t recommend you girls enough! Welcoming, friendly, knowledgable, great selection of dresses, and just a lovely atmosphere all round as well. Went with my friend last week whilst she chose her wedding dress, and it was such a special day! Lorraine and the team were super attentive and made it a really memorable day- it’s clear that they care a lot about what they do! We also chose our bridesmaid dresses that day, the selection of dresses in the shop was great- the fizz was pouring and we just had such a fun day! Would definitely recommend :) the dresses are also in good condition and well cared for, which I can say from personal experience isn’t the same everywhere! I tried dresses in an upmarket shop in london and they were in a terrible condition. All good at SLB! :)

Had an absolute fabulous experience at Sarah Louise Bridal. Been twice for my bridal gown and also my bridemaids. On both occasions it was Amanda that helped us and I couldn’t have asked for better service. I am a very self conscious lady and was extremely nervous as 9x out of 10 I’m in comfortable clothing. I NEVER wear dresses so was a massive step for me and Amanda helped me take not just a step but a leap into my dream dress, so much so I was reduced to happy tears and left feeling on top of the world! She’s a beautiful soul and I felt comfortable in her care from the minute I arrived. (never danced around in my knickers so much in my life, and felt comfortable doing so! Hahah). I was over the moon to have her help the second time round with my girls and again her service was outstanding!! Updated review: following my first experience at Sarah Louise Bridal as a bridesmaid, I decided return to shop for my own wedding and bridesmaid dresses. Again, from start to finish the experience was wonderful. The range of bridal dresses are amazing, I tried on lots of different options and ended up finding my dream dress. As other reviewers mentioned, this is the only shop I’ve been to where they used small pins to fit the dress to give you a chance to see how it really looks (other shops I visited used big clamps which worked ok but can ruin the look especially of the back of some dresses). My mum and gran both have said how amazing a day it was, nothing was too much trouble for the girls in the shop. They even were helping my gran (who is unsteady on her feet and losing her eyesight) up and down to see the dresses up close. Anna the assistant suggested the most perfect veil to match and Lorraine helped me choose my hair piece too. I felt like a princess. Thank you so much Team SLB. —— Came here as part of a bridal party and had a fantastic experience. The team (especially Lorraine and Annmarie) could not have been more amazing. Stunning dress selection, and the customer service was outstanding - can’t recommend highly enough. Thank you so much again.

Would just like to thank Lorraine and her team at Sarah louise bridal once again for an amazing experience while getting my bridesmaid dress! This is the second time I have been in this shop for a bridesmaid dress and once again the assistant could not have been more helpful with pulling dresses and advising what style would suit everyone! Honestly had the best experience at Sarah Louise Bridal! Anna and Lorraine were so so friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Usually at bridal shops they use the big clips to fit it to your size and it makes it hard to visualise how it will look in your size, however Anna used lots of smaller pins to fit it so precisely to my size and help us visualise the final look. She was so helpful with veils etc and seemed to know exactly what I’d love. It was just the best day with my sisters, mum and auntie! Surprised myself by saying yes to the dress which I definitely wasn’t expecting to do after a long hunt! They definitely know what they are doing and I never felt pressured. I bought my wedding gown here, and although I am really happy with what I bought, I thought the variety of gowns available is quite limited. Service is good, and all the staff is very experienced and very good at helping and suggesting. I was a bit baffled when I picked up my dress though: despite spending more than £1,300 in this shop between the dress, the alterations, shoes etc, they still asked me to pay £10 for the dress carrier bag... I thought that was quite silly: would have been much nicer if they added an extra £10 in the dress price without telling me and then give me the carrier bag for free... How silly

I called the store in complete desperation as the wedding dress that I fell in love with at a different store was now end of line!!!! The store that I had been to said "well it's not the dress for you" and that was that. I explained this to the manager in Sarah Louise bridal and to my delight she contacted the designer of the dress I wanted and managed to source me my dream dress, the staff were simply outstanding really went out there way for me and even let me pay when I went in to the store the week later to try it on instead of pushing for me to pay the deposit which would have been half the price of the dress!!
