Reviews of The Corinthian
G. W.
Went here for the first time on a Christmas night out. Given the time of year, it was very busy and being a Friday night, it was very lively!
I was on the 1st floor in a room full of mirror-framed black and white photographs. The interior is top class, was astounded with the detail of the decor.
Had a nice three course dinner and opted for white wine. Enjoyed the rest of the evening where the it was non-stop till after midnight. A brilliant night out! 👍🏻

Took my mom here for her first Afternoon Tea ever :) we got all dressed up and we were not disappointed.
We had the place mostly to ourselves and it was lovely. Beautiful decor, an amazing acoustic guitarist/singer (she played some awesome songs!), great service and so much food!
My favorite was probably the scones but everything was really delicious and I even had to get a to go box. Mom ate all of hers and so did my husband.
If you’re wanting to wow someone or have a quiet, elegant place for afternoon tea (you can have unlimited coffees instead), this is the place! We went on a Sunday and we will definitely be back ❤️🙏🏼
Thank you to the staff and the singer!!

Just popped in there for a quick cocktail, but was amazed how opulent the room was. Just amazing. I could have stayed there for very long time. The cocktails were tasty and priced around £9 like most places. The staff was friendly and we had no problem just walking in as they had room at the bar. Would recommend going just to have a look at the amazing space.

I absolutely adore this building and the way it has been so well taken care of… just breathtaking either during the day or at night 😍
The service last night (Saturday) however was absolutely shocking… we must of ordered about 8 rounds and waited on average around 20 minutes on drinks being delivered each time. One blonde haired lady who we ordered with 2/3 times just completely ignored us…. Really not great considering the price of drinks and the fact they ask for a £20 deposit for 2 people.
Will always return as I love it for the atmosphere, and the DJ was brilliant 👏🏼😍 but please sort the service out 😭
Also, none of the ladies toilets downstairs had toilet roll, which is shocking as these should be getting checked throughout the night!

Amazing experience from the team.
Food was delightful, atmosphere was great, staff exceptional.
Would highly recommend for an intimate meal or a family dinner.
J. M.
Had a lovely evening with friends eating and drinking cocktails in fabulous surroundings. Staff were attentive and friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. Would definitely revisit next time we're in Glasgow.
D. R.
Had the best time in here at a hen do party.. Food was amazing... Cocktail class was fantastic and so funny... Staff where first class.. Nothing was a problem.

Great place for a luxurious feeling. Lovely coctails and a perfect place for your christmas photos with different rooms to sit in and enjoy time with your friends

We booked a table for Sunday brunch because after checking their website it looked like a bargain (10£ x person including coffee and juice), so we were a bit unsure if it was going to be for real. But what a surprise! The Corinthian is amazing, one of the best places we’ve seen in Glasgow, as soon as you cross the entrance door you travel in time and are amazed by the building and every corner of it.💜 Such beautiful architecture. Moreover, the food was delicious, staff were super friendly (our waitress Alice was really nice!), the price was what it said on the website 🔝 and everything was clean. Music was also great. Oh! And there are many good vegetarian options available🥑 We’ll definitely go again.

We went for drinks before heading nearby for dinner . The decor is absolutely beautiful and we had been recommended it as the place for cocktails . It was fairly quiet but the drinks took a long time to come as one of the whisky’s ordered they couldn’t find . Ordered another instead and waited again . Lots of staff - not many people in . The drinks were lovely when they came and as it was so slow we didn’t have time to order another before heading for dinner which was a shame . We got the bill and the original whisky ordered was on the bill ( a more expensive one ) We waited again for this to be sorted - they then took off the service charge for our inconvenience - only 2% - but appreciated the gesture . It was just too much waiting and too much wrong for a drink before dinner . All in an hr for a cocktail and a whisky . Such a shame as we wanted to book for a group of us next week but have gone somewhere else instead where the service will be quicker and the bill correct .

Perfect Amaretto Sour and Tom Collins made by Seamus. Perfect for a couple of oldies not been back to our haunt for many a years overseas.

We have been to this venue a few times as an events supplier. We supplied the Magic Selfie Mirror in the boutique room. The staff were really helpful.

Popped for a cocktail on a rainy Sunday evening, not expecting too
much as other city centre venues visited on the evening had been rather disappointing, our welcome and service had been poor, staff team appeared a little jaded, possibly recovering from a busy Saturday evening. However happy to report that was not the experience from Corinthian! We felt very welcomed and
I was delighted that staff were wiling to take the trouble to find recipe for cocktails I wanted and they were absolutely delicious! Thank to the
extremely charming and professional server David who made us feel so welcome and made our requests possible without a fuss and to our mixologist, Paula.

Held our Christmas Party night in the Nosey Parkers Dining room on Saturday night. Fantastic night from the venue, meal and decor. Staff allocated to look after my party could not do enough to help. Use this venue regularly and always enjoy the evening. Great night, great staff.
A. H.
Great ambiance and loved the cocktails. Will recommend it.
D. H.
Great place with a lovely atmosphere. Very attentive staff and a marvelous place to go for a drink or a meal after a busy day shopping in Glasgow. Highly recommended.
A. M.
What a beautiful place & the employees match its charm, which is sweet to see & experience.
C. B.
What beautiful building. The staff were brilliant. We hired a meeting room for the day and had lunch. We travelled from Bristol to use this venue. Would love to go back for a more social trip. Truly outstanding.
M. M.
What an incredible building in the heart of Glasgow. We went to an industry party here and it was stunning. Beautiful architecture, glamorous interior design and opulence in every corner.
The bar is well stocked and the seating available is beautiful.
Great venue for a party.
J.
Great location and stunning decor. Good choice on the menu, however note for all non-Glaswegians that “crispy spiced ” cauliflower means “dunked in batter and deep fried”. They were very good about the lost in translation moment, and didn’t charge me for the item. All in all, great location.
f. l.
We all had a ball. Our DJ/entertainer was fabulous. Food was good and staff attentive.
C. C.
Having walked past this place numerous times, I thought it was a high end casino and never went in. Turns out it is a fantastic venue with various bars and function rooms. The main bar area is rather magical with a glass dome dominating the ceiling but there are several other bars from a cool DJ bar to a relaxing piano bar. I would recommend visiting this venue. Worth voting for the impressive architecture alone. Staff were friendly and attentive
J. D.
As a couple we visited Corinthian Club for afternoon tea. Initially impressed with the building and interior decor. The food and drinks were lovely. Good value. Would recommend.
T. K.
I was taken for afternoon tea last Saturday 11th September. It was actually a birthday treat booked by my daughter-in-law last year for my birthday but obviously it had to be cancelled due to COVID. Oh my goodness it certainly was worth the wait. I was so impressed with this venue as soon as I walked through the door as the decor and surroundings are just so beautiful. The afternoon tea was amazing and there was such a lot of choice. Our waitress was just so lovely and nothing was too much bother. I will certainly be back again.
G. N.
Had a wonderful afternoon tea here a few weeks ago and it was one of the best afternoon tea's I've had in Glasgow and I've been to most of them. Staff were very attentive, atmosphere was relaxed, the food was fresh, the cocktails varied and tasty and the price was very reasonable for what you got. I usually like to try different places but this was so good I've got it booked again for a few weeks time. This definitely should be promoted more as one of Glasgows best afternoon tea venues
A. P.
Had a lovely Office Christmas Lunch here. Everything was absolutely amazing ! Lovely service in a grand place. Highly recommended.
A. C.
Lovely bar had some very nice drinks. Good atmosphere and very friendly staff. Icing on the cake was the fact that still game filmed a scene in there 👍🏻👍🏻
E. M.
Exceptional food and drink, the surf platter especially was amazing. Our waiter Serge, and the staff in general, were all fantastic and helped make it a great experience. Would return when visiting Glasgow again.

We visited the Corinthian Club for drinks on the day of our departure from Glasgow. It’s a beautiful venue and the service is top-notch, but this review is mostly about how the staff went above and beyond to help remedy a problem they had no real obligation to do anything about.
As our train departed Glasgow I realized my money clip, which held a bit of cash, was missing. We deduced it had likely fallen out when I was wrestling my credit card wallet from my pocket. I called the club and the hostess Maya confirmed that they had found it. I explained I was could not return to Glasgow to retrieve it. Their system does not allow for making a credit to my card for such a transaction and I was about to resign myself to writing it off. However, even though it was an huge inconvenience and a favor to a person she had no obligation to help, the manager Jodie undertook to set up a personal PayPal transfer for the money. This was not as straightforward as it might seem and required persistence well beyond what one could hope for.
I’m very grateful to Maya and Jodie (and everyone else involved at the Corinthian Club) for their assistance and kindness. The staff is the best!
A. R.
Great decor. Drinks reasonable compared with other city venues.Good experience.
K. H.
Had my hen night in the Mercer room! Cocktail class, DJ, buffet and the room to ourselves. What an amazing night! Staff were fab, food and drinks were fab! Brilliant
J. M.
Exquisite ambiente and excellent food. Perfect for a special day in Glasgow. Pre-booking online or phoning in is recommended. The prices are very reasonable. Ingram street is right in the middle of Glasgow with George Square just a stone throw away.
S. M.
In town for a ladies day out. Booked the Corrinthian Club for drinks after our lunch. Its a beautiful venue, great place to people watch. Staff were very helpful and got us a booth after sitting in the uncomfortable high chairs. Cocktails were nice but small and overpriced. Overall I enjoyed the experience, would I go back, not sure. Its a place to be seen rather than let your hair down.
A. B.
This place is mesmerising. We had an afternoon tea party for my baby shower and we all loved it. The staff was very nice and helpful even when there was so much confusion with the food as some were vegan, gluten free, allergic etc everything was great. The food was delicious and we even had a live music. Highly recommend it.
D. D.
Was there on Saturday evening. I was pleasantly suprised with the ambience and service. Its not a place I would often go to but when we arrived, we were escorted to a table, table service only and the cocktails were lovely.
A. F.
Beautiful place! I was only in for the day for a works meeting and I am astonished at how beautiful it is! Will definitely be back for a leisure occasion!
C. M.
A breathtaking building! The details and small intricate work on the building is absolutely beautiful! It's a great place to be in and definitely to have an event in too!
M. B.
Food was ok lovely place told last orders at bar said we would have the same again then came Bill we asked where the drinks where to be told bar is now closed quite disappointed
M. F.
Beautiful venue. Hard working and friendly staff. Great place to celebrate a big event!
R. S.
The place still has its original victorian interior, which was pretty neat. The tea and coffee were fine. We didnt have anything to eat though.
C. T.
Impressive venue, great food and super friendly staff who were there to help no matter what.
M.
Brilliant decor, cocktails, food , music atmosphere and service!

How beautiful place 😍👌🏻, how delicious foods😍👌🏻, how nice Christmas tree and Christmas designs😍👌🏻. I deeply appreciate you 🙏🏻❤🙏🏻
M. R.
Food was not good, disappointed expected the food to be of better quality and taste. Staff were lovely could not fault them, but down side had to leave after meal as there was no seating available for us to carry on our evening.😠
r. m.
Lovely Christmas Dinner with family very nice staff
i. a.
The building is amazing, and the menu looks great ,the food and service however were average.Ive been coming here for, over 20, years, infrequently now as I stay oversees,it’s still an impressive place to bring visitors for a drink, next time I’ll pass on the food.
R. H.
Amazing place to sit back and relax with a large gin from their extensive selection, booking essential.
S. M.
The afternoon tea was lovely but the music was so loud we couldn't hear ourselves speak, however after complaining we were given a room away from the noise and the staff were very friendly and helpful
S. J.
We hired venue for birthday. Staff very nice and looked after us very well. Food was better than we previously got I restaurant. Only a few hick ups during party, but manager sorted all out after realising their fault. I would recommend to anyone and thank the staff for making it a wonderful day.
C. A.
Sea food platter was gorgeous. Coupled with a drink each, it was a very pleasant hour.
K. A.
Went to the club for a dinner. The dinner platter was plant based and awesome! However, the quantity was not enough to be shared amongst us.
K. Š.
The atmosphere is quite nice and on our visit also quiet which I enjoyed. The selection of cocktails is not super inspired and they are quite average tasting.
J. Q.
We had our wedding lunch within Lairds room. The food quality, service and even selection of wine included in our package was excellent.
Will definitely recommend for your special day or event.
P. M. V.
Sergio was the most amazing waiter, we absolutely enjoyed our time there. Would totally come come for the service. 10 out of 10
J. E.
Beautiful setting. They offer a fantastic afternoon tea. There is a roof terrace where you can sit in the sun and have a cigar!
M. R.
Beautiful place to go for drinks with friends in what used to be an old bank and courthouse.
G. J.
Beautiful building tastefully restored. Would recommend for drinks, fine dinning. Relaxing atmosphere and friendly helpful staff.
J. A.
Beautiful venue and cocktails
E. H.
Superb facility for a party or a meeting. The venue is lovely with old world charm, the food served at my formal dinner was in time, hot and delicious. The reception had a variety of affordable options of canapés and buffet items. Really successful venue- I have been getting compliments on my events and a lot of it was due to the helpfulness and expertise of the staff.
B. M.
Very upmarket and a great night out. Staff were happy and I would go back here again. Recommended.
M. F. D.
Stunning venue, great staff, beautiful terrace, lovely afternoon out.
L.
Staff were wonderful and very attentive. Especially a young guy with I want to say with coloured hair? Red? Food was bang average unfortunately. Would return for drinks not for food.
A.
Really beautiful building and space but uninspiring drinks menu.
D. S.
Enjoyed my full Scottish breakfast and what lovely attentive staff. The Corinthian is beautiful
M. M.
As requested the reason why it's only OK (3 star rating on Google) as follows.
Food could have been nicer it seemed like it was dished out in a hurry and was not the best.
When my colleague asked for halal chicken, it was presented to him with ham over the top of it. When mentioned to the first server they insisted it was halal. After mentioning to another server it was replaced with the veggie selection as no chicken was left.
More notice what brand/drink was covered under free drinks tokens.
Toilets could have been cleaner as stains all over the toilet.
H. R.
Simply wow! This club has such a nice atmosphere and the design feels good. The club although is really dark and has not enough light.
J. F.
Incredible place in Glasgow, Beautiful architecture, glamorous interior design, smart and classy. Additionally, the price is affordable.
The music is really nice! Highly recommend it for people living in Glasgow
P. C.
A stunning and beautiful piece of art and yes also a business .the piano room is beyond this world for a relaxing evening. The staff here NOW are wonderful as always . I am heartened yhey have finally delivered a great environment. Beautiful interiors worthy of a grand and beautiful hotel. Dining .entertainment . I even booked a room to oerform a private function for a children's charity with the delightful Emma who was the co ordinator which fell through due to my health at that time. It has captured its former nostalgia as Tabby from Dennistoun * ( we had a lovely conversation on our bus journey home ) well done Corinthian i shall be delighted to be a lifetime patron again .xxx
M. L. P.
We went during the festive period and the atmosphere was fantastic! I will definitely return!
J. N.
Had lunch here with a few friends. Wow factor as soon as you go through the door. Food was absolutely delicious. Service was excellent. Staff can’t do enough for you. It was a very enjoyable and relaxing afternoon. Would give 10 stars.
Thank you everyone 💕
R. T.
Excellent venue for the wedding reception. Had a great night
T. L.
Great wine and cocktails frendly staff will be back soon.
G. S.
Had my daughters 16th birthday here. Thanks to Daniel and Neil for making our night great. Service was excellent. Will definitely be booking more family occasions here again .
F. M. M.
A beautiful place however at a wedding the toilets were downstairs quite dangerous for older people. The disabled toilet was not very clean as the evening went on. Service was good and staff polite. Generally a nice place with quite good food nothing out of the ordinary however.
H. L.
Genuinely the best Thai food I've ever tasted. I will definitely be visiting again 😋😋
s. h.
Stunning interiors, stopped into the champagne bar for cocktails, they make a fantastic daiquiri
s. p.
Popped in for cocktails excellent. Staff without asking brought a carafe of iced water to the table which was appreciated on a warm Saturday
D. R.
Nice place, visited recently for a work type event and everything was nice enough. Breakfast and coffees provided, then lunch and also water throughout the day. Only criticism was the strength of the coffee, genuinely wasn't great. Other than that good place to use for a launch or presentation, central to everything in Glasgow.
M. K.
Staff too slow serving tables, nice surrounds.
A. A.
In town for a ladies day out. Its a beautiful venue, great place. Staff were very helpful and music was just perfect. Cocktails were very nice and at reasonable price. Overall I enjoyed the experience, would I go back? 100%.
j. i.
Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and beautiful setting.
M. D.
Lovely place for functions, but a bit expensive for drinks.
J. P.
Absolutely lush come up from Manchester & was made to feel so welcome, will be back thank you
F. M.
Excellent service from all staff, and excellent facilities, toilets could be cleaned more, but I think that's more about those using them than not being cleaned regularly.
K. S.
Beautiful building. The interior is so grand and opulent - the bar has a great atmosphere and the drinks are always made well.
A. M. K.
Attended a wedding yesterday.. Atmosphere foodxrink and hospitality were amazing.. Great day
A. R.
Outstanding customer service, staff went above and beyond to make our night special after been unhappy about the original area we were brought too, they managed to get us a better table downstairs and it was very stress free - highly recommend
R. O.
I was there for a wedding reception. It was lovely!
D. M.
Great service nd friendly staff. Will defo go back for another nice live music with some nice cocktails.
A. B.
Super posh but didn't mind my t shirt and jeans. Beautiful location.
V. I. R.
Great place I was here for my hen party and we had a cocktail class then a 3 course dinner and then went to the casino as well
J. S.
Excellent venue for a party night, after a mix up at a booked table, staff were very helpful in sorting this.
a. s.
Great night at the Corinthian - weddings just seem to get better and better - well done the Corinthian
S. M.
Visited last minute and we all had a great time. Not too loud and the table service was great. Would definitely visit again.
E. L.
Very good venue. Tricky to find the room for the meeting but great once there
N. K.
Very lively place. Nice cocktails and professional service. Amazing, restored old building.
S. C.
High tea today which was lovely. Staff Ben and Helen were charming and an asset
M. W.
Lovely high tea!
C. A.
We had our tiny corona friendly wedding at the Corinthian. They where wonderful with us. Last minute changes with guests and new corona guidelines where no problem at all. The day was perfect. Food was delicious and excellent value for money. We didnt have a huge budget but we got an amazing day we thought we couldnt afford. I would recommend the Corinthian for any occasion Lauren and her staff couldn't do more for us.
S. J.
Lovely for a drink and the bar staff are lovely. Not too sure how it would be for an event and haven't eaten there either. Would need to go again and try more to give a higher score.
J. B.
Superb setting food very good
N. O.
Beautiful setting. Afternoon tea was worth alot more than paid for, the waiter was very attentive to the table also, ensuring the cups were never without tea. Fantastic selection of sandwiches and cakes, normally I don't like afternoon tea but this was beautiful. The live singer also was a great touch and created a calming atmosphere. Definitely will be book here again soon!
L. R.
Very nice place. Lovely surroundings and decorations, and the wait staff were very nice. -1 Star because on their website it says they serve afternoon tea from 12pm to 5:30pm. We got there at 5pm and they said they stopped serving afternoon tea at 4pm... when I pulled up the website the hostess said they CAN serve until 5pm (not 5:30?) but only if you book in advance... but that’s not what the website says. Anyway, yummy food and great environment, but the times on their website are apparently inaccurate.
D. C.
Very nice place great cocktails and waiter service
M. E.
I personally love it it's a beautiful venue just a pity all rooms aren't open yet for dancing but it's beautiful and you feel dressed when you go there it's my kind of place classy if you don't like the old down and out pub's and like somewhere classy this is the place for you drinks aren't much more expensive than other places slightly more expensive but really not much love it can't wait to get back and I travel from West Lothian to go I am Glaswegian right enough but I can honestly say it's 1 of the best places for a lovely night out in Glasgow
L. B.
On July 10th we celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary at the club. The staff were amazing and made us feel special. The food was delicious, just the music was a bit to loud for us.
S. G.
Beautiful building with history. Love Glasgow. Prosecco and nibbles 'pre dinner' treat.
G. S.
Work night out. Great night 😊
A. F.
If you want special treat when in Glasgow then this is the place. Lovely surroundings with attentive friendly staff.
O. S.
My fiance and love it here. Fantastic building, staff and drinks. Yet to try the food. Highly recommended.
C. B.
The piano bar has a very relaxed, classy and pleasant atmosphere. Drinks aren't too pricey.
J. C.
We held our wedding at the Corinthian Club recently and could not fault it in any way. The venue is stunning, the food is delicious and wedding manager Lauren and her team were fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble. 10 out of 10! Thank you once again.
R. W.
Love this place so many different options under one roof. Casino is really fun and the staff there are willing to explain the rules and be patient with beginners. Sometimes have great live singers in the bar area. Great cocktails.
J. S.
Had a christmas night out there from work, not sure how much they pay for the nigh out but I hope not much! It's nice looking place but the space where we were seated was unbelievable small, we had no room between each other at all, it was very challenging trying to enjoy the food or anything on the tables, even some of the tables were bigger then other so straight away we got in and spill alcohol on tables because we didn't notice there were not same. Place like that you would think they have enough room and same size tables, I was very disappointed with that and I wouldn't not recommend it for night out again, for couple drinks yes but not bigger dinning parties
B. B.
Steph pls get back here. You’re an amazing leader.
Hopefully the club will be back.
I cannot wait beautiful venue it’s just the lack of options.
V. C.
The place itself was truly lovely and beautiful but a certain staff was really snobby and rude.
E. M.
Such an amazing place. Honestly the staff on tonight have been amazing. There was a mix up with some prices (my fault - should have asked) and it was dealt with so so well. Fabulous customer service from the lovely lady behind the bar and the supervisor. I always reccomend this establishment. Can't wait to come back
B. F.
Fantastic venue and service 😁
F. K.
Choice limited.gluten free disappointing. Food delicious though. Ambiance nice but quite a few staff didn't seem to know what they were doing ,however very friendly. Drafty. One staff member running her fingers through her hair over our table.
H. C.
Excellent service food was of a high standard. Would recommend a visit if you are looking for a family dinner.
2. D.
We visited here on Saturday 25th. It s an amazing building and very impressive.
There is a casino downstairs and a dance area upstairs along with another bar
We ordered a couple of bottles but the service was slow.
It was not very busy which is was surprised at but we had a good night. The music was ok inside and the staff were professional.
A nice place for a drink and some food.
P. S. (.
High class venue with lots of history. Drinks expensive and so busy (in the room I visited) that I stood at the bar to admire the decor, architecture and ceiling. Glass dome, ceiling, lighting and plaster adornments make this a must visit venue in Glasgow.
I arrived unannounced and wished we could have stayed longer to eat and drink. Only marked down because of the expensive drinks.
S. P.
Went for a Halloween event and both myself and my partner were very impressed with the food, the environment and especially the service so we booked for Christmas lunch there
I cannot complement them enough. The food was excellent the service was great and even santa was by far the best one I have ever seen for the kids. Well done the Corinthian we will be back often
R. B.
Such a fabulous place. We visited during the day for work and we're well looked after. Went back in the evening for dinner and food was excellent. Great range of drinks and then had a cocktail master class.
Private karaoke room was fantastic and lots of options for our whole group. Found it hard to leave in the wee hours, even after being there since 10am.
Thanks so much for looking after us so well.
C. C.
My go to destination in Glasgow City Centre. The best! Never disappointed and so glad we chose to have our afternoon tea here for our anniversary. They catered for my husband's nut allergies and went the extra mile. Come back time and time again.
A. M.
Lovely atmosphere and great service
I. A.
Corinthian in city centre modern place serves good food and cocktail this bulding has also a bar and casino, unfortunately its close do to covied 19.
Good to meet friends and nice to take your date there
D.
Very good service
Tasty dessert but starter and mains were not good value for money.
A. A.
Hmm slow service its trying to be the ivy without the quality of food or service. But its expensive. Honestly just book the ivy its way better.
S. B.
What a very very busy place. It’s big, with many different rooms. Several bars and a couple of restaurants. The staff are efficient and the place is a machine, but rather characterless when it comes to enjoying an experience. If you are there for a right good drink, we’ll you will fit in well. Otherwise, not ideal.
i. s.
Highly recommended for anyone living or staying in Glasgow. Stunning location and architecture inside and out. The food is absolutely fantastic and the drinks aren't too bad either...lol.
Expensive but worth the treat at least once.
T. Y.
Magnificent fare. Loved! Dying for the prawns. Would easy here everyday if I could!
G. G.
Beautiful building drinks expensive however I expect that in a main city center.
However what I don't expect is not allowing to go into the casino by the door staff!
I have never known a casino not to allow customers to join to become a member!
I would understand if I was falling all over drunk however it being myself and husbands wedding anniversary we would have loved a flutter but we were told there was another casino around the corner!! Nice work guys!!
Pleased I sent a fortune at the bar!!
Won't be back and wouldn't really recommend it.
Very much a shame.
S. H.
Friendly staff, lovely setting for a social gathering. The drinks are a bit pricey and the toilets are a bit of a hike. Enjoyed my visit never the less. Would recommend this for an afternoon coffee.
F. F.
Beautiful venue, fantastic choice of spaces to use. Came across an outside terrace which wasn't being used so was perfect to get some fresh air!
The club could be used for any event you could think of, the service was fab, the surroundings gorgeous & the good scrummy so big thumbs up.
A. A.
Nice place
T. V.
Absolutely stunning building which has a certain WOW factor especially for foreign guests. Personally preferred the décor when it was first kitted out as a venue years ago but that is personal taste. Find it a bit bland and over lit now. Not cheap but still one of the better places to frequent in Glasgow. Staff can be a bit snooty and like to think of themselves as hip.
D. M.
I've not eaten in here for a year or two because back then the food was one of it's weakest suits.
On this occasion, I went back because a friend wanted to go and I'm glad I did.
I had the steak and it was better than my most recent visit to a well known Glasgow steak restaurant.
If you've not been back in a while, I'd recommend a visit.

Would like to thank the staff who helped make my daughters wedding reception at the Corinthian Club 7/11/20 an amazing night nothing was too much trouble the staff were attentive and helped make my daughters wedding complete. Anyone having to have a small wedding due to restrictions at the moment I would highly recommend giving your business to this amazing venue.
a. s.
Good but bit loud music, bit difficult to communicate during drink.
food was okay.
Nice ambiance
J. S.
A favourite classy bar with nice cocktails, wine and beer. Good background music 🎶
J. Y.
Lovely place as it was when we last visit over ten years ago. But service from bar man was not friendly, hence three stars. Perhaps we have been spoilt by all the other Glasgow people we have met and spoken with today who have been lovely.
C. C.
The gentleman at the front entrance was so friendly and professional, I had an amazing experience start to finish. The food was delicious, cocktails yummy and the surroundings breathtaking x
P. T. (.
Was here in the Langley room last week for a public consultation exercise conducted by the BLF and CHSS on the Scottish government's RCA proposals. About 25 people present. Great location for this type of event, city centres always work best for transport links. Met at reception by pleasant helpful Corinthian staff and given directions. Room on second floor, lift available if required. Room bright pleasant and airy with quiet effective air-conditioning, comfortable seating, good acoustics and no intrusive external noise.
Coffee/tea and light lunch excellent. Small suggestion, if coconut milk provided as well as conventional, could the jug be a different colour. Although identified with a small place- card ID people rarely replace crockery carefully after use. The "Malibu" coffee came as a less than welcome surprise.
An ideal venue for this event, and a real step-up from the usual dingy meeting rooms.
A. N.
Absolutely amazing architecture and interior design. It was by far the most beautiful restaurant I've ever walked in.
Moreover, the food and drinks are quite affordable compared to the high class service you receive. Would totally recommend it.
P. A.
Food was excellent and staff very helpful and courteous. Chateaubriand cooked perfectly for two. Went for our anniversary on a 5pm deal and added extras on top of the deal price, so we ended up with quite a feast!
a. r.
Squeezed us in last minute for cocktails. Beautiful spot.
C. B.
Beautiful building inside and out.
Prices are pretty high.
Always feel that the service at the bar is very slow too.
It’s nice for a social gathering but when it’s busy it can be so annoying waiting to get served.
C. S.
Loved the place ,went to a wedding there everything was just perfect the service the food and entertainment .beautiful view from outside .
R. S.
Enjoyed my afternoon on Saturday after braving the elements outside. Their was a great feel and atmosphere during the afternoon and the staff were on top form looking after everyone. Well Done
j.
Was overall a good night. A fight broke out at the table next to us and the wrong people got thrown out so then it happened again and our table got knocked so our drinks all got spilled. Some of which they replaced, some they never. But before and after that it was actually a good atmosphere.
f. w.
Great venue, always love going there and the new gin bar has taken it to the next level. Recent trip made even more memorable by the lovely bar staff, all well presented, especially the one in a bowtie.
Y. S.
Cocktails were nice and the service was pretty good but the food was a real let down. Over priced and underwhelming.
R. P.
Worth a visit just to see the building, what a spectacular place. So big, multiple rooms/bars. Great place for a night out or lunch
J. N.
Lovely place, service a bit slow, but that could've been our fault as we didn't tell them all our party had arrived. Our waiter was very friendly and amiable.
C. B.
Love this place. Looks so opulent, like a very exclusive club.
I enjoy the way the waiters float about, then seem to time it just nicely to refresh your drink
J. M.
Expensive place but really nice. I was in for a wedding and enjoyed it. The drinks were expensive but expected for such a place in heart of glasgow. Service was really good never queued long and everyone serving was friendly. Def go back
C. A. H.
Since the refurbishment, this place has lost some of its atmosphere. Beautiful surroundings but maybe a bit too conscious of itself. There was a time when it was packed after work on Fridays. Now a bit quiet.
A. S.
First night out with friends post pandemic has began. amazing staff and great atmosphere. would highly recommend
D. K.
Food was very good and venue is stunning. Restaurant was really busy and we were given a different table than the one we booked so had to move during our meal. Waitress was nice, and very helpful but service was pretty slow.
D. V.
Very nice place, we use it for special occasions, staff very attentive
E. B.
Went for lunch to take advantage of their market menu at £13.95 per head for two courses. Beautiful venue, good food and great service. Felt like we got real value for money. Will be going back for friday night drinks at some point soon
T. M.
Had a meal in the room downstairs and to the right. Absolutely stunning, mirrored ceiling, lovely dining tables with jewellery under glass. The service was really great and the food was very well priced considering the setting.
M. P.
Besutiful restaurant, delicious food and friendly attentive staff. We were served by Jacob who was charming and knowledgeable about the history of the building We will most definitely return! Thank you for a lovely day.
S. A. C.
I had my hen night in The Corinthian at the end of April and had the best night ever! The food was fantastic and the service was exceptional, especially from Ethan! I would highly recommend this venue for special events or simply for a good night out. The private parkers room was fabulous and will definitely use this venue again and again.
B. D.
The most amazing service from the young Thomas and his manager and other servers. Thank you so much 😊
I. B.
Nice food, coffee could have been warmer. We even asked if they could make it hotter.
S. C.
Went in last night for cocktails ! About 8.30pm, ordered mojitios and were told by the server they had no mint to make them , he was very apologetic and we picked something else !but really !!!! Come on ! I'm sure mint could have been purchased from somewhere ??? Nice cocktails and lovely surroundings but not the best to have no ingredients on a Sunday evening
K. C. G.
This is a stunning building in Glasgow city centre. Not casual at all. But it has many different venues and is a must if you are looking for a glam night out with out any riff raff around 😝
T. J.
Went in just to look around at the beautiful decor and learned about the history of the building. The manager was very nice and welcomed us, even though we hadn't planned on staying and eating.
N. A.
This place is unreal. An upmarket place in the centre of glasgow. There's lots of different rooms, I'm a big fan of the main hall with the high ceiling. Catered for Xmas work lunch which was great. Also there is a casino downstairs.
T. T.
Awesome high ceiling hall, and the prices are reasonable. Great to meet with friends and enjoy a drink or two. I had the steamed pudding, which was devine. Would definitely recommend.
T. S.
Superb and stylish location. Club only open on weekends
T. T. G.
Maybe 6 out of 10 but I would say miller and Carter was far more supreme food wise
s. h.
Fabulous building. We'll organised for events. Staff very helpful and food was delicious.
t. a. G. 4.
Fantastic night out, thought it would have been more expensive than it actually was for a round of drinks! Staff were excellent and atmosphere was great, will definitely be returning.
C. w.
Hmmm wasnt what i remembered it to be, ok for a few drinks, but thats about it, need to sort out their cocktail selection better
C. S.
The place is very nice and fancy, the people who work there are a bit arrogant.
C. M.
A stunning Victorian interior vies for attention with the patrons; it's close but there's probably more decoration on the punters. Standard range of drinks majoring on pricey cocktails. The place to be if you're the person that needs to be in that place.
R. A.
Amazing decoration in the Corinthian Club, the high ceilings are very decorative. We had sandwiches and coffee here which were very filling and delicious. The cocktail menu looked good, we will definitely be back for drinks!
K. H.
Beautiful building and nice setting. Extremely slow service on a Monday with a set menu. Wouldn't like to think what it would be at peak times. Very small portions.
h. 1.
Had a good evening in the Corinthian, some staff could be better at greeting customers.
V. C.
A massive thanks to everyone, my daughter had her 21st last night and from start to finish she was made to feel special and welcome, I can’t thank all involved enough for make her night so so great, a outstanding venue food drinks and really really super staff. From Ellis my wife and I a massive thanks 🍺
Vinny coyle
J.
Wonderful meal in stunning surroundings. Will be back.
J.
Attended a reunion here for our old school staff. Buffet was super and staff attended to tables well. Decor was amazing ..bit pricey for my regular pint nights out .lol
L. R.
This visit was an xmas night out. It was ok, food average. Drinks quite pricey. Staff could have been a bit friendlier. Not rushing back
Y. B.
New money decor, crass patrons. Avoid peak times at all costs. Weekday afternoons are perfect to get the value for your money. Staff is always lovely and helpful, albeit equally fedup at times.
F. L.
Beautiful surroundings, felt food was cheaper ingredients, waitress very helpful. Would have drink there but wouldn't eat there again.
C. F.
What a great night. The club was open after finishing our Christmas lunch with an amazing DJ that had us dancing all night. Will be booking our Christmas lunch here again.
T. A.
Service qas amazing, a very special building. Prices were good too
M. D.
Brill. Quick service. Friendly staff
G. D.
Loved it! We were sitting on the terrace at first and then shifted to a piano room that was very nice and romantic. Cannot wait to go back!
L. M.
Corinthian is fantastic for drinks thats for sure, but dont go for food. We go alot for cocktails and when we saw a deal for dinner we decided why not! But honestly, everything was wrong, semi-warm, slow, just so so bad. Not sure if it was an off night or not but the four of us vowed not to go back for food and haven't even been back since for drinks!
L. M.
Great food and service. Will definitely be back.
M. S.
Attended wedding, Fantastic venue, staff amazing, food good, bar prices bit expensive. Could not fault it. Not a good venue for anyone who cannot manage stairs.
T. J. K. (.
Went here for a drink when in Glasgow a few years back. We were guests of the former Sligo Rovers manager, Willie McStay. At the time I remember thinking that the place was very posh and I was under dressed. I got to shake hands with Neil Lennon who was playing for Celtic at the time, which at the time was a highlight for me.
The place is kitted out really well and the service was top notch.
We left after the drink and went to more mainstream bars on Sauchiehall Street.
S. B.
When going to Glasgow we always visit, beautiful place. However I do miss the little bar up stairs in the casino, enjoyed a beer sitting in the booths.
S. D.
Even though it comes across as extremely fancy, atmosphere is always welcoming and cocktail prices reasonable. And the building and the interiors are so beautiful!
A. H.
We had lovely day here for a dear friend's 70th birthday. Food was amazing. Staff were lovely. Thanks x
j. m.
Lovely place for a venue. Only downside was the air conditioning was a bit too much and I had to sit with my coat on most of the night!
7.
Absolutely beautiful inside and out the staff are great
T. M.
Faultless. Beautiful setting, yummy cocktails, attentive staff and pristine toilets. Perfect 10.
S. H.
Great place and lovely food. Had a good time with the staff as there were lots of birthday's in the restaurant.
M. D.
I was there for dinner a few weeks ago with my husband. Service was really good , cocktails were nice . I struggled a little on getting to toilet downstairs (due to my mobility ) Great venue & location , & hope to return in the near future .
h. b.
Staff were lovely and a good selection of food in the afternoon tea. Service for drinks quite slow although it was very busy when we were thete
T. H.
what a fantastic venue , great food , stunning inside with glass ceiling , our favorite place is the piano bar on the 2bd floor , very chilled indeed
P. A.
Decent food and service although lots of different staff members asking the same questions. Need to keep it just to the one server to save confusion and become more efficient
S. T.
Excellent Service. Place a wee bit dated.
R. F.
The food was delicious and the service was amazing.
L. V.
Beautiful building, nice service. Crowd a bit ropey maybe.
g. g.
Fine dining with a relaxed atmosphere in a stunning dining room. Worth it just to see the Victorian plasterwork. Good service and good food.
T. T.
Lovely decor , nice private feeling booths & friendly and very helpful staff. All round good experience.
L. D.
Had so much fun.
D. B.
A had a couple of drinks lovely inside
J. M.
Beautiful environment and nice food (too small portion tho). Always like to show new friends how beautiful the place.
S. M.
Great venue for a cosy or a group get together
L. H.
We went there for cocktails. The place is very pretty although the crowd is very old ( was 99% groups of old women when we were there ). The cocktails are good and priced very reasonable
D. C.
Casino and bar in the basement is really nice for a late night drink. Also went in the bar on the ground floor and they had singer and piano player which was a nice touch also
J. W.
Food was absolutely delicious. The staff where very friendly and professional
I. C.
Dropped in with friends prior to a meal round the corner on Friday night. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves with great decor, fantastic atmosphere and big selection of drinks.
C. L.
Awesome architecture and grand bar. Shame about the standard booze on offer at inflated prices. Very poozery.
Poor cocktails.
l. m.
Fantastic night out last night with friends. Food was amazing and the staff couldn't have done more 😍😘😁 would definitely recommend!!
M. L.
Great place for a drink. The piano bar is definitely worth going to. Staff are friendly and helpful.

M. R.
Very pleasant surroundings for a few drinks. Didn't try the food so can't really comment.
C. W.
What an amazing restaurant. Beautiful decor. Delicious meal, excellent service, good price.
E. M.
Nice venue but not cheap was here for a cracking wedding! Casino was quiet but we did leave at 3am might have got busier later
R. N.
really nice place and great atmosphere - unfortunately it was pretty quiet on the evening i went - i would love to go back.
M. S.
Really lovely destination although still uses plastic straws!!
G. W.
Great night, staff were excellent and very attentive
L. R.
Booked tea and tipples for yesterday for a 60th birthday, staff and service was excellent really friendly and helpful, disappointed in the cocktails, first one had crushed ice, second one no ice and some of us could not drink it as could only tasted the spirit, not value for money, probably we should have just had afternoon tea
S. “. b.
Can't fault it. The decor and ambience make it a must go to
l. g.
Fantastic place. Amazing decor and service was great!
D. C.
A lovely place but the food quality and service could be a lot better. Not bad but not as good as you'd expect when you walk in.
R. G.
Beautiful venue, the piano bar could have left chilled music instead of loud music. Yet I was not put off
E. R.
Great service, beautiful place, amazing food! Had a great night doing the cocktail masterclass too was a lot of fun!
R. M.
Fabulous cocktails, good service, amazing venue
S. M.

Lovely environment with great food. The staff weren't the greatest but apparently they were new starts.
P. W.
Great service and lovely food and cocktails
M.
Multiple bars and a nightclub in one entity. Good atmosphere and live music in the bar upstairs.
Suggestion to the Dj to change his repertoire.
G. A.
For a nice atmosphere with good drinks at a reasonable price then corinthian club is great.
W. M.
Good food and lovely surroundings but a bit pricey, especially for the cocktails! Keep for a special occasion!
M.

J. B.

J. F.
Amazing ambience and great service.
N. K.
Nice place for drinks and fun with your friends and partner
B. G.
Lovely afternoon tea in beautiful high domed ornate dining room. Very friendly service.
E. W.
Very rude staff and slow bar service. Prices and quality of cocktails the only reason I'm giving it a 3 star rating.
D. J.
Former private residence turned bank, very ornate. Champagne bar is very pretty. Very expensive though!
K. T.
"What dark beers do you have?"
"... Corona?"
At £6 a drink you'd really expect staff to understand what a dark beer is.
K. W.
Nice place, luxuriously decorated with a little bit of posh accent, but you can easily overpaid for offered drinks!
W. S.
Lovely venue, ornate/grand features. Excellent cocktails and casino too.
c. p.
Great setting. Great cocktails . Didn't eat but afternoon tea looked good
L. F.
Nice cocktails
L. M.

A. G.
Beautiful building, staff very friendly and our meal was lovely.
n. t.
Paper napkins, waited a long time for initial service, staff forgot bread with soup then didn't bring a knife with the butter, female waiter was excellent, male waiter not so
S. T.
Lovely venue, good drink promos mid week. Not a fan at weekends as it attracts wannabe wags and arrogant snobs
W. M.
Go before 11pm and it's free entry.after 11pm it's £5 . I really enjoyed the atmosphere.
N. K.
Very nice and classic environment. Perfect for a cocktails night out.

Fantastic venue, average food and service. Worth it just to look around, however.
A. R.
Lovely wedding celebration 🍾
M. B.
Not sure why, but somehow all the female staff are very polite and accommodating, providing an excellent service, and all the male staff are rude and useless. Never seen anything like it.
