A group of 6 of us did Archery yesterday and it was such a fun and uplifting activity for our family trip. Toby, the instructor, was very friendly and professional but most of all fun. Once we’d went through the safety briefings with the bows we went on to some warm up and practice, before moving onto some fun mini games and competitions between the group at the end. We were worried about the weather at first but the archery is in fact covered so don’t need to worry about getting wet. Great place and would definitely return, potentially for Axe Throwing or doing Archery again just at a greater distance. Best place for outdoor activities in Inverness.

Great market day, lots of nice choices in a variety of things, handmade soaps, jewellery, bags, cushions, gins/liqueurs, arts, antler crafts...dog treat stalls...a few good vendors!..highland patisserie, and one other cake stall. Good day out :)

The monthly craft fair is a gorgeous way to support our local small business community. The cabins at Wildwoodz are fabulous low carbon impact, wild toilet, wild showers, open fires, lots of trees. I'd love to go to the Christmas walk, it looks enchanting.

Good place to go with friends to release some energy, can get pricey though so steady as you go. The staff are spot on, their knowledge of the paintball guns etc was great. I feel the toilets let this establishment down, appreciate its in the 'woods' but the chemical toilets were stinking and for that it scores a 4 star for me unfortunately.

We booked this last minute on the last day of our Inverness trip, and it did not disappoint! Dave was incredibly gregarious who knew exactly how to make us enjoy archery for the first time. If you want a calming yet mildly challenging & competitive activity do not hesitate to book archery with him in Inverness!

We came for the Axe Throwing, and it was incredibly good fun! Our instructor was very patient, wise, and friendly, and gave us his undivided attention for the entire duration, guiding us throughout the process of learning each of the different kinds of axes. He encouraged competition, but always put safety first, and there wasn't a moment where I felt unconfident or misinformed, and we all had a great time. My only regret is that I hadn't booked in for more activities, because I could honestly have spent all day there. Couldn't recommend it highly enough!

We chose paintball as a team building activity and had such a great time. It was extremely well organised and we were very impressed with the staff keeping a watchful eye to ensure we were all safe whilst having a fantastic time. Highly recommend this to anyone thinking about team building or looking to have a great day out.

We stayed one night in one of the cabins. Such a lovely stay to just switch off from everything end enjoy the forest and a log fire pit. There isn’t any electric in the cabins, so no TV or internet, which we loved. Would highly recommend.

I went there today yesterday for my sisters birthday and it was great! They explained everything perfectly showed us hot to use the equipment and they're all very friendly and charismatic. We ended up being one person short so one of the staff joined one of out teams but didn't give a competitive advantage

My partner and I did the axe throwing at Wildwoodz this week. Simply fantastic and I can’t sing their praises enough. David our host was great. He made our day fun and entertaining and exciting. It’s certainly worth a visit if you want a fun day out suitable for the entire family adults and children. Highly recommend and great value. 5 stars all the way

One of the best places to go in Inverness! My partner and I came here for archery on her birthday. Toby was able to take us frok zero experience with a bow to consistently hitting the target in only a couple hours. The session was a fun mix with archery training, a competition and a game. Toby even let us have a go popping balloons on the board to finish! Would 100% recommend as a must go to experience in Inverness.

Epic day, paintballing, myself and 16 mates had a great time, such good fun, great value and professionally done, everything was smooth sailing so you just get down to the nitty gritty, i will be organising this on a regular basis from now on, and FYI it feels like being flicked by a 10 year old, unless it gets your finger and you don't have gloves 🤕 that hurts 🤣, but definitely recommend it to anyone young and old

We went for birthdays that had been missed and did archery and axe throwing. Our instructor Toby was amazing. He helped with any queries we had and also how to do the activities safely and correctly. My husband is disabled and they made sure he didn't hurt himself. The activities where amazing and great for doing when you visit Inverness. It's is worth the money and the experience. We will be back and enjoyed every moment. Thanks again guys.

Don't usually post reviews but spent a day here yesterday with partner and son and it was amazing. Haven't tried paintballing before but it was so much fun. The guys running this are so professional and the setting out in the woods is amazing. A bit expensive but considering you are there for about 4 hours it's actually good value for money and a great way to spend a day with the kids. My son is 14 and absolutely loved it. If you're in or near Inverness you should definitely give it a go.

We went to Inverness for archery in a large group not knowing what to expect. The weather was spitting rain on and off but luckily where you stand is covered so it didn’t matter! Toby our instructor was good fun, very informative and made us all feel relaxed. Would absolutely go again!

An excellent venue for many different events as well as having internationally recognised paintball venues they hold such things as weddings, outdoor theatres, music festivals and craft markets. Also on site are the homily log cabins to stay including a tree house! The staff are always happy and friendly and make for an excellent visit.

Wow ! What an afternoon of family fun! From ages 6-50 we all had the best time shooting eachother with lasers (especially in the head) what a great terrain being, being outdoors really helped with heat management! Special thanks to Jake- what a guy! Always ready to revive me so I can shoot my cousins. 11/10 lol definitely worth the money. Go! Go! Go!

We went to the adults only evening session of the winter woods event and absolutely loved it. There was the option to have a guided tour by one of the elves but we chose to wander along ourselves, taking our time and plenty of photos. The team have done a great job of the lights coming up with some imaginative scenes and a great walk around. They were all very professional and friendly and we would recommend it. Just remember to take your wellies or walking boots 😄

We stayed at wildwoodz cabins with our 10 year old daughter for a week, in search of something of a little different we read great reviews and just went for it. We were not disappointed, it was such a great experience for us all no electricity or running water just made the experience even better. Lovely little touches to our cabin made it so perfect and just what we had hoped for and more. A cosy roaring fire warmed us up nicely in our cabin at night and our daughter loved her nightly hot chocolate and toasted marshmallows over the fire pit. Our daughter loved chopping the firewood ( supervised) and the novelty of heating up the whistling kettle to have a shower which was quite exhilarating lol. There are some beautiful places close by which are mentioned in a booklet from the owners Dave and charlotte, which we visited and were very beautiful, even saw a seal and dolphins. The other side of wildwoodz is an activity centre which needs pre booking and is run by Dave. We did an excellent archery session run by Dave who was excellent and very patient especially as most of mine ended up in the field. All in all we were impressed if you are outdoorsy and willing to go down to the bare essentials for a few days it doesn't have to be a week like us lol then this is the place for you, our daughter will be talking about this experience in years to come, wonderful memories made, special mention to Dave and charlotte who clearly work so hard to make this hidden gem such a great place for all ages and are just really kind all round great people who make you feel very welcome. Thank you for a totally amazing time at wildwoodz #inverness

Absolutely stunning wee location, an easily the best day we had during the Stag weekend in Inverness. Our host was excellent, kept the banter going and had some fun with us without compromising professionalism. Could not recommend more highly.

We came for our last day activities with school and it was great. Dan and Dave the instructors for laser strike were great fun to have around and made it very fun! The place was very clean. As something to do in Inverness, this was an excellent destination for archery. Dave, the owner / instructor, was very friendly and provided us with exceptional service from explaining the basics to giving us tips to improve. It was a very relaxed session with fun / competitive aspects and would certainly be back to try this or one of the other activities. Would highly recommend this as something to do in Inverness.

Went to Wildwoodz for the first time at the weekend and was super impressed, the maps are alot of fun, especially the wild west one! The staff are knowledgeable and friendly, giving the place a great atmosphere. They offer more than just paintball too, I would love to return for a shot of the axe throwing! Highly recommend!

A gorgeous quiet place in the woods. Clean and off grid. We got a group of 16 to have all 4 cabins and the kitchen for us and it was one of the best weekends I’ve ever had!

Just stayed for a long weekend in the cabins The site is a beautiful place to stay very quiet and peaceful in the woodlands The hosts were very welcoming and friendly Inverness is only 10-15 minutes drive with Loch Ness being about 30 minutes away so there are plenty of places to visit If you like going back to basics and enjoy getting away from the stresses of life then the wildwoodz cabins are perfect I think I will probably book again next year

This site is incredible. My son and I travelled from America to see Loch Ness and decided to stop by it was a blast. The staff is professional, courteous and went out of their way to help us. Not only did they have a great paintball experience but they had air soft, axe throwing, archery and Lasertag equipment straight out of Call of Duty..... if you are an adult or a kid and looking for outdoor activities I highly recommend this site!!
