M. K.A tip, don't go at opening time 9.30am as it takes the staff about an hour to fully open up all of the features of the fun area. 10.30am onwards you get what you are paying for. At 71 it's not my cup of tea but the Grandchildren loved it.
K. D.Travelled from Leeds to Attend the adults only, Friday big fun night with a few friends. We didn’t know what to expect other than letting our inner child out, highly recommend! I honestly don’t know how children have so much energy to run round because we certainly struggled to keep up but certainly had an amazing time. A big thank you to the bar staff Georgina & Natalie, these two were extremely humble and down to earth and made us feel very welcome considering we are not from Hull. Not to mention getting our demanding drinks orders right even if we did confuse them numerous times. We certainly will be making an appearance again sometime soon but with more of a group all thanks to Georgina & Natalie’s hospitality! Thank you once again!

J. s.Visited here last week , although not my favourite place to come .my 9 year old loves it .
We got tea here for the 1st time ever little treat basic food chicken nuggets an chips etc. Not a real lot of choice. Staff very young .I asked for decaf coffee and the young lad although pleasant enough said we don't have it . So I asked him to check with management as it was on the menu.
Very noisy didn't take long before my head was banging think this isn't just the kids screaming an shouting it's the so called music that plays ridiculously in the back ground .its not quite loud enough to actually hear it it's just racket that's annoying should get rid. Hard for parents been there as it is . This background boom boom doesn't help.
My daughter thinks this place is amazing though so no doubt we will return .
B. S.Nice big play space we like to keep the kids active but let them.have fun and this is ideal. The kids want to go back already ..plenty of slides and climbing equipment to keep them entertained. Never ate here though but food didn't look all that bad. Cuppa wasn't bad either. Enough to keep older kids entertained somewhat too. That's providing people can get them off a computer nowaday lol 😕
a. m.All the kids, big and small, love the place. All the adults, big and small, love this place. Loads of soft plays, slides, bumps, ropes, jumping on them up and down and left and right. Birthday parties for children are a great experience here. Good place to visit
E. “. B.This place was quite big and I have to say really well ventilated and not overcrowded. I did visit here years ago and it was so hot, stuffy, overcrowded and so noisy so I'm glad that has changed for the better.
The reasons for 3 stars are 1) I looked online and saw that they had electric go karts that were £1 a ride so I showed my children the pictures of the go karts and they were so excited only to be told after arrival that the go karts were not in use today as they hadn't been charged. I even armed myself with pound coins for that specific reason. The sad expressions on their faces were awful. All because someone hadn't charged them! They didn't even offer extra time or a free drink for the kids. I know that sounds a bit tight but the go karts are part of the play area which was not in use. 2)
The food was disappointing at best I ordered a ham & cheese toastie which was ok but I also ordered chips which were vile they were really crispy and looked and tasted like they had been fried several times and smelled of old cooking oil that needed changing. I got my partner a hot chocolate which was watery not very nice at all so I'd definitely avoid the food.

P. T.On a wet and windy afternoon this is a fairly good place to bring the kids.
It's big, clean and there is a selection of food and drink.
It was ok.
Some down sides are that some if the slides are certainly not suitable for kids under say 6, but the access to them is manned by personnel, though I'm not sure if they stop a young child from going in or if they are there to just ensure for example that they go down one at a time.
Secondly, it was a shame that not all the trampolines were open (only half were available), not sure why, but again these were manned by personnel, but again to what end I'm not sure.
C. M.Great place for energetic kids. Food, drink is supposed to be bought there, but plenty of parents with younger kids have water/juice bottles with them.
Noise level and amount of people is something anyone with an SEN child needs to be aware of- and the fact the toilet only has air-dryers and no paper towels. Environmentally sound, but SEN kids may have an issue.
The only problem is possibly the adult fitting through some of those contraptions in the play areas if the child needs supervision. Yeh, not easy - standard parent/carer problem.
It's also not too expensive. We paid £10 for 2 adults one child for 1.5 hour play session. I think that is fair.
The only negative is the food system- they could do with changing to a pay/order via online app, so you don't have to queue and leave you children or belongings unsupervised. Also better and more food/drink options wouldn't go amiss.
It also has free parking at front and rear.
Remember they suggest you book your session. The numbers of people are limited per session for safety reasons ect.
Overall great place to take the kids.

m. H. (.Been a few times for birthday parties, my son always enjoys himself and one of the better places for adults to enjoy too. Prices for drinks are a bit expensive but otherwise its all good.
Y. G.Very popular for children and parents very large play areas separates area for younger children food and drinks available clean toilets plenty of seating and parking spaces we booked in advance on line and it is well priced for two hour stay
c.It was big, and it was fun! We went at 9.30 on a Sunday to make sure it was quieter and it paid off. It felt very safe as everyone had their temperature taken on the way in, hand sanitiser was easily accessible, and everyone wore masks.

W.Good for the kids to let off steam, no issues there but £3.50 for a toasty..two slices of bread, very lightly toasted (not in a breville type toasty)..so a slice of cheese between two bits of just-about-toasted toast..a bit of chopped lettuce, 2 warm slices of tomatoe, anyway totally not worth £3.50..feed somewhere else!

Recently i attended a birthday party at Big Fun (tm) the food was standard the service was okay i guess. But what really made me give Big Fun (tm) 5 stars was the trampolines. I think we can all agree those trampolines are worth waiting for. Bouncin' flippin' and trickin' around like its no ones business. Gosh i love those trampolines. I love Big Fun (tm). Would recommend Big fun (tm),

V.06th august 2021 adult night, would have been a 5 star however for an adult night 8pm until 10pm the music was at a low volume (true it up) also the trampoline‘s where closed and only 2 staff on the food/drinks unit, so spend 30 mins of our 2 hour time slot queuing, staff great, have a blast just please it’s a party turn it up…

N. M.It was our first visit for a kids party, it was really nice. Big fun is a indoor play centre, the play area is big enough for adults too as I enjoying sliding and climbing with the kids. The food was good, a wide selection for kids and adults. They have a trampoline as well and kids jump one at a time which I appreciated as young kids can find it intimidating to jump with older kids. Overall the visit was great and the stuff were friendly. Remember to bring your socks

M.Getting a bit dirty and old looking inside now. This place hasn't changed much in the last 10 years or so aside from a couple of new additions. The newer toddler area is much better but the main play area is still quite dated and painful to get around as an adult following his kids. Still it's a great place to go when it's raining.

G.Very fun, we went for the student & adult night (Wednesday 7:30), about 20 of us went and the rules are kinda laid back for the adults, you can pretty much do what you want and the staff won't really bother you, we played a giant game of tag with another group, then we played zombies. It was super childish and very fun, sometimes you just need to be a kid again 😅 I highly recommend going at least once just to see what all the fuss is about!
Also, the drop slide isn't as scary as an adult 🤭
L. S.So many things to do the posters saying don't make your child go on this slide and the green slide has Height check same with the blue one the blue one is perfect after you go on it once and so is the green I went on the green so many times like so many and it doesn't get boring

L. C. (. P.Came here from Leeds after hearing good things about it, but was slightly disappointed in the lack of obstacles and activities. We brought 5 kids who only went on the slides and also the go karts which we had to find an assistant to let us into the karting area and pay an extra £1 per kart. Out of all the trampolines there were only 3 in use so there were queues which meant when it was your turn you felt obliged to cut your turn short to let someone else have a go. You weren't allowed to do somersaults either. We had some food from the restaurant which was ok. I weren't allowed to carry my 3 year old on any of the slides either which I've been allowed to do in other play areas.
M. M.Our kids have been a number of times and enjoyed it, however I found the service atrocious when my 9 year old broke his foot at the bottom of the slide.
No fault of anyone's at Big fun but no first aid and the woman was more interested in having us sign a disclaimer before we left than letting me get my son out and to A & E.
There was a supervisor at the slide but she did nothing to assist us getting him out either.

H. N.They have a great play area and the staff are really friendly. The seating isn't the most comfortable or easiest to get in and out of though as the seats are fixed. I have a disability and couldn't get in and out of the baby area to play with my daughter like I can at other soft play places.
H. J.Visited with my daughter and her friend at the weekend. I thought it was very expensive to get in, £14.50 for myself and 2 5 year olds. The play facilities were great and the girls really enjoyed themselves. The food was reasonably priced but not very appetising. I had a cheese and ham panini which was really hard and slightly burnt. The girls were happy with their chicken nuggets. Ive been to play areas with much better food. My biggest concern was that all of the food and drinks came in takeaway boxes and cups and didnt seem to be recycled 😳 id be happy to proved wrong on this account but all the rubbish seemed to be put into the same rubbish bag. I hate to think how much goes to landfill. Anyway all that being said the kids enjoyed it but id probably pick somewhere else next time if we plan on having lunch as well.

R.My little one loves this place, always has a great time here and always asks to return. Good to see they've recently upgraded areas. Food and drink is good for the type of venue it is, I do find the toilets a little grubby.
L. S.If you have sections dedicated to certain ages you should have members of staff keeping an eye on those sections. You removed my son from the under 2 section... fair enough as hes 4 but when there are other children in there older then him and you leave them in there it is not fair at all. He cant read the signs to say it's for under 2s. Disappointed and now have an upset child because 'the lady told me to get out and go over there' 😡

T. J. D.My first time here and found it very busy. Couldnt fault anything apart from having to pay £1 entry for using equipment..... I never use the equipment because I come alone and have to sit with my belongings. Grandparents bring kids, I doubt they use the equipment either. People should be given the choice if they want to use the equipment and then pay. I am very doubtful I would come here again purely for this reason only.

Like all soft-play areas it can get extremely busy during peak periods. During these times thet do limit play to around two hours, which is plenty.
Lots of seating and lockers are available, for a fee.

Ok for the price
I. M.Google has asked me to review big fun. I haven't been to big fun for about ten years since my kids are all grown up now. Therefore I have no opinion about it. However, rather than just ignore my phone, I felt compelled to waste my time, and now yours, by writing this instead.
S. H.Been going for years. But now needs some investment. A few sections have been closed off, and nothing replaced. Starting to lose interest.

C.It is ok, it's big and has areas for under 2's then smaller children up to about aged 4 then the main area is for older kids but you can take little ones in aslong as you accompany them because it's a bit more challenging to get around during week days a toddler session is only 2.95 which is great value and its not over crowded but at peak times i do find it very expensive especially if you have a few children and obviously they need a drink and a snack while you're there and you're strictly not allowed to take your own (yes they will come and tell you off if you pull out your pack up) so yeah good for a treat but not amazingly good value at peak times and it can be a bit wild and unruly in there the soft play area is not staffed
D. C.My boys love it here they are both 6. There's plenty for them to do. One of them spends nearly all of his time on the trampolines and the other I don't see until it's time to go.
B. P.Prices on the door don't reflect price on websites. Asked staff this and they said it wasn't there website. They need to get this updated. But apart from that my child had fun. Slightly noisy due to a gas gun that shoots balls

S.My children appeared to enjoy which is the main thing however there is no order, people pushing in line for the slides etc. When it came to eating the prices of food seem reasonable until you are served a children's portion and then good luck actually finding somewhere to sit if you visit on a weekend, tables are piled high with bags with no one actually sat at them and nothing is done about this, staff should be encouraging people to use the refundable £1 lockers provided
S. M.It was ok for the little ones. Food expensive, and you have to wait a very long time. Also food not worth what you pay for it. Regular hot chocolate £2.20. this was a small drink.
Apart from that as I say ok for children.
