S. H.Charlotte and the team at Berts are just amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. It's an incredible, quirky, relaxed venue that we tailored to exactly what we wanted for our two daughters naming ceremonies. The decoration of the barns is just beautiful and the location with its grass area overlooking the paddocks and play area is perfect for a safe space for kids of all age to run around and play. Charlotte has an incredible network of local, quality, reliable suppliers which made planning the events and all the finishing touches so easy. I would highly recommend Berts for any event..the day there was everything we had planned and hoped it would be, but so much more because of all the hard work of the team at Berts. 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

It’s free entry and you just pay for what you get so much better the other places! We took are little pup and he had so much fun in the pumpkin patch.
Would 100% recommended this place definitely bets all the other pumpkin patches in the surrounding area!!

The staff were extremely professional and welcoming, and the venue was beautiful. Fantastic big dance floor too! If you're looking for a wedding venue for your big day, look no further.
N. L.The best family orientated, brilliant, well run pumpkin patch round these parts. The love all the staff/owners have for what they do truly shows and we adore that it’s now our tradition to come to visit. It speaks volumes that you have a true passion and it’s not just a money making scheme like some other not so far away “competitors” I say that word lightly as nowhere compares!!

The team went above and beyond to make his ‘pumpkin patch party’ a big success, they really looked after us and were all so friendly. S. H.We went strawberry picking and the children loved it. We picked some fruit and veg from the shop and the children loved playing in the park and on the toy tractors. All the staff were friendly and welcoming. The barn looked lovely and there was lots of picnic benches. We will definitely go back.

M. S.Now been for a birthday party, a fair and an impromptu coffee and pizza. The shop has a great selection of local produce and good coffee, there is outdoor seating (or a barn for the rainy days) and toys for the kids, and great pop up food and drink stalls. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the whole place has a very positive vibe. Heartily recommend.
P. H.very good in Sunshine for a wedding. Family and friends 130 very happy on the day. Take Caution on Hog Roast as it is cold pulled pork not a beast roasted and carved. Pizza wa not eaten as was unappetizing and premade form boxes.
Caution over many flies on food.
Entertainment very good.

C.As much as we love bert's, and we've supported their business throughout covid etc. I can't help but feel a little disappointed recently when making enquiries about a children's party at their "event venue". Without even asking my date etc, they told me they were sorry but booked up until 2024, kinda a felt like they maybe aren't interested in children's parties. Maybe they don't make enough revenue in comparison to weddings etc. Oh well, will find an alternative 👍

We didn’t have to wait long to get into the field for the pumpkins and it was a big bonus not having to book! It was my first time going pumpkin picking and I’ll definitely be going again! The pumpkins were reasonably priced, I got 5 for less than £15.
M. S.We love visiting here whenever we are in the area. The range of local produce is plentiful and of a great quality. Our kids love the ice creams whereas I enjoy the fresh coffee on offer. The addition of the play area made our visit even better as it amused our nearly 2-year-old brilliantly.

Staff have always been friendly. Pizza on Friday was particularly good, I thought it was tasty and I am not generally a pizza fan.

J. C.A really great shop. Good, local produce and friendly staff. Some of the story of we like apart from the local veg is:
* The range of plastic free/ethical products (toothbrushes, wax wraps, dish clothes and such)
* The coffe they sell is the best (and is also what they use in their cope machine at the shop - much better than any Costa or Starbucks coffee you'll get)
* I am guilty of being a regular buyer of their ice creams 🙊
* A nice play area to keep the kids occupied whilst your shop and grab a coffee
P..S. sorry about the 1 star review. Google watches my every move and often pops up suggestions to review the places I have been so it must have gone off in my pocket. I would definitely not leave a 1 star review without any details anyway. Ths is a more honest review of why we love your shop to make up for it 👍

s. d.I highly recommend! The venue is beautiful and yet at such an affordable price compared to others which offer far less. Charlotte provided us with details for many local suppliers and Brett at liquid catering was great, everyone commented on how nice the food was. This venue has everything in one place and can cater for a range of budgets if you are considering booking I would definitely say go for a viewing you will not be disappointed.
