Lots to do. You can first bowl and then spend some time at the arcade earning tickets and spending them at the till. I have been multiple times and have had countless hours of fun. I have been multiple times with friends and family and have had hours of fun everytime. Definitely do recommend. Note: The kitchen closes at around 8:45pm so make sure any hot foods are ordered before then.

Not been to Hollywood bowl from ages!!! We took our 4 year old boy for the first time. He loved it!!! It was such a fab experience fir us all. Booking was so easy on online. As we got there a little early we requested could we do bowling early and there was availability!!! 😍 The staff were really friendly and helpful. There was staff to clean the bowling stations after each group. So covid safe etc Only thing was toilets were disgusting!!!

Booked one game for me and the kids and it was so much fun. They have got the boards up between each bowling lane and different style balls so you don't cross contaminate. I actually like the separation even without COVID. The children loved it and because we had done online you set the names up before you get there. Check in and all done, including organising the bumpers for the kids. I used to hate typing in all the numbers. We stayed for a few games in the arcades which was great, although quite a few were out of service. Hand sanitiser stations all round. And finally we stayed for some lunch. Thanks God for sugar free slushies!!!! And food was surprisingly good 👍 reasonably priced and came out quite quickly. Overall really great day out and will be back again in December. We are building out arcade tickets!

For the past 2 - 3 months my partner and I have been frequent visitors to this establishment and I have to say, its been extremely fun - heavy on the wallet but extremely fun nonetheless. The staff are amazing. They've gone above and beyond with everything. Customer service is great. Each staff member knows how to have a joke and laugh. Very welcoming place. My partner is autistic and they've been so sweet and kind to him and gone to great lengths to make him feel comfortable and calm. I highly recommend this place.

Staff were extremely busy but still had time for us. Very friendly and professional. We had two lanes booked for two games each and we had a lot.of fun for a reasonable price (for bowling anyway!). Toilet cubicles are absolutely tiny and even a child would struggle in there. The arcade entertained the children while we were waiting but the tickets you win are no where near enough to wind anything other than some cheap sweets.

Good selection of arcade games for all ages and abilities. Convenient change machine and machine to withdraw coins using your bank card for free! They have 3 pool tables which accept both cash and contactless payments which is amazing! Ample free parking.

£9.00 pp for VIP bowling ( but this means you just get your private booth, but not really), so I would personally recommend just picking a normal bowling Lane. Very clean, lots of parking,lots to too and very nice staff.

It's been years since I last went bowling. I found this new experience easy to book online, no need to change shoes which was always put me off 😂 and can order drinks and food using the app at the lanes. Perfect, straight forward and not complicated at all! They even have your names ready for you on the screen so no faffing around and if anyone needs to use the 'bumpers' they come up and down automatically when it's their turn. I feel like people will read this and think I'm a bit of a loon, but it's like going into the future from me as the last time I set foot into a bowling alley must have been the 90s! 😂

It was understaffed and crowded. Toilets and Tables were not cleaned. Some of the arcade machines were out of order, not topped up. Although people were enjoying it, the music was not that bad. Food and other service are no longer affordable. Overall, I am glad that there are some places like the Hollywood bowl in Leicester for fun. Hope next time; it will improve on cleaning.

It's changed alot, food is now at the bar. Arcade has got bigger and split in two. Pool is now 1.50 a go and not only that the bowling balls look like footballs! It's a weird but wonderful place. Enjoy!?

Post Covid its absolutely safe and sound the balls are kept to the lane for each lane only! Marked separately for each lane so you don't get confused, well spaced out and masks are worn while playing. Drinks and food are available at the bar, Arcade open as normal.

It was fun. On covid times, I felt save and comfortable with their precautions. The booth has extra shielding. Bowling balls were different for different booths to ensure there is no mixing. They clean the booths between different users.

Amazing place for family outings. Got bowling, pool and loads of arcade games. Within the same premises are restaurants, gym/leisure centre and cinema, so it's definitely a place you can easily spend the whole day doing different things. Also parking is available and free.

Nice tidy and clean place even during COVID-19 as they were cleaning all the lanes when people were leaving. Drink through wending machine quite expensive but had no choice as the bar / pub was really busy.

We usually just go to have fun at the arcade machines. So my review is based on that. We went this Saturday evening and it was very busy, I feel like the arcade machines part of the venue have changed and there is less options then before pandemic. They divided the place, so the machines on the right of the venue are solely for wining prize tickets. The machines on the left are mostly for entertainment, such as car driving and shooting games. They have change machines, that will let you use your card or your cash and give you change for you to use in the machines. I have to say the claw machines are disappearing, each visit there are less of them and harder to get a prize from. The ambiance is nice, but there's too may people just sitting around the machines not playing them and using them as seating and not letting others play. I find the staff very helpful, nice and always busy rushing around and trying their best to deal with everyone's queries. The prizes are not actually worth the money you spend trying to win the tickets. Overall is a nice place to spend some dispensable money but I think there's alot of room for improvement.

Unfortunately it seemed as if it was understaffed as the poor worker was stuck on his own at the desk dealing with customers whilst other staff members I could see were talking with each other. Celebrated my sons birthday here, opted for the vip package and everything was planned or organised really well. We had our host Jordan who was really good and on the ball, package included game/bowling for an hour and then food, with cordial drinks and a choice of slush puppy or ice cream for each child. Would have given 5 stars but response to service calls was slower than is expected especially for the vip lanes, it was a Friday but other than that, spot on!

It was super great in there since it's upgrades. The arcade has new games and is on both sides when u enter instead of just one. There is a nice big bar now separate from the arcade n bowling sections. Also the bowl has a lovely VIP section which is great for when u go there for ur birthday. On the screen where ur name n score r u can also take a picture of yourself to put on ur score tally n can take a group pic to set as the background. Finally u can wear ur own shoes to bowl as long as they are trainers or boots.

Fun Arcade and bowling. The bowling was fun and everything worked fine, the arcade was okay but many machines did not work or dispense tickets at all if you won, there weren't many machines. Could do with a DDR ❤️

It's OK and you can have a great time, but it's expensive. It costs nearly £15 per person for 2 games. You can just have one game, but it doesn't last long. As most people go as a couple at least, it runs out quite expensive, although you do get a free drink per person per game. Everything else has to be paid for and again the drinks can be expensive and the none alcoholic drinks are nearly as expensive as the alcoholic ones. So for a good night out for two you're looking at needing at least £40 minimum.

Visited after freedom day, we saw the lane all cleaned before each session, each lane has different pattern balls so you don't mix, we took our own hand gel etc but they do have their own for you. In general very satisfying knowing all was done consistently and we'd come again, worth noting this was our first visit back in 18 months.

We visited on the 21st of May, we were super impressed with the safety measures in place, the screens on the booths of lanes seem to improve the experience to be honest. Seperately marked balls for each lane, arcades open, just lovely to be out again feeling confident measures were taken to keep us as safe as can be. Masks are worn inside. And the staff were super friendly, helpfull, and attentive, very happy with our first of many trips back🙂

I personally think its over priced. I think it was about 16 quid per person for 2 games (30minutes fun). Quite a few of the arcade games were out of order, including the ticket machine, thus resulting in long waits. The customer service wasn't fantastic either. I just think its an "OK" night for a costly amount.

Booking is a must if you want to get in here. We booked for two games, and ended up getting the VIP Lane. Was very clean, staff were cleaning the bowling balls whilst we were there. They have different types of bowling balls every other lame so you don't use the lane next to you. Overall a good experience, will book again in the future.

came here yesterday since opened back up after Covid, WOW the improvements and steps in place for Covid was brilliant. we walked in and was told to check in for track and trace, was a little bit of a que but another member of staff came and jumped on the till, we was told be about 10 mins wait, we waited by our lane and saw how all the lanes was divided and even down to pattern bowls and plain bowls for each lane. The people just finished there game on lane we was going to go on and within few minutes was someone to clean whole area even the bowls, they really did a great job and wasn't rushed...was really good to see! credit to Hollywood bowl was great to see how many families was out and following the rules and can't think of anything more they can do, I just hope when the easing of Covid does happen that they still keep up with the level they have now set, one of issues here previously was lack of staff just hope doesn't change as was ample now...thank you once again had great time!

Bowling alleys can take a bit of maintenance as our alley went on the fritz about 3 times in a night. Played for an hour. We visited the Leicester Hollywood bowl for a team night out. We opted for the Celebration package and had an upgrade to the VIP lanes. On the night included was a host to look after us, food & drinks along with two games of bowling. The host on the night Alex was absolutely amazing. A lovely guy and couldn't do enough for us. My only slight negative was that included within the package was a buffet. The amount of food was not anywhere near enough for 8 adults. I did try to upgrade the food package when booking over the phone, however was told I couldn't do this. Other than this, it was great.

I liked that I didn't have to put on those annoying bowling shoes. The lane was easy to set up. Bumpers are automatic and come up/go down according to the current player. No issues with pins getting stuck. Moderate wait even though we had booked it. Bathroom was clean. Cannot comment on food as didn't have any. The people who played before us left their food, plates and cups behind and the staff didn't bother cleaning it up even though one of the staff passed by and stared at it. If I was planning to buy food and drinks it would have been a hassle as I would not have a place to put my stuff on.

Large bar area with a couple of pool tables and of course plenty of bowling lanes with the latest touchscreen system to get you all set up. Food is the usual type of stuff from these venues and great for a quick bite whilst playing a few family games of bowling. It can get very expensive, so always look out for bowling, drink and food deals to ease the pain of splashing too much cash! Always a good night at hollywood bowl Leicester. The food is reasonably priced and is probably the best bowling ally food I have ever had. The chef obviously takes pride in what he does and it shows. I do have one gripe and it is a very big one I'm afraid.. They seem to pick and choose the price of bowling at will and I really can't work out how they do this, I had assumed the price went up in the evening as it is busier and in an effort to get some clarification on this I called today and asked them what time the price would increase and was told that there is no increase today and I would be charged 44 pounds for two adults to play three games no matter what time I wanted to play. I decided not to prebook a lane and instead chose to just turn up and pay, upon arrival I was charged 31 pounds for two adults to play 3 games and asked the girl if she was sure and she said yes. So if I had prebooked my lane it would have cost me 13 pounds extra. Very strange indeed, especially when you take into account that the website says you will save money if you prebook.

Bowling is always fun but even after a recent refurbishment Hollywood bowl is looking rather tired. Bar service is slow and food only ok.

Great for an evening out it has a bar and serves food but the games area is the best it has all the latest in arcade gaming and old school games and coin op play. There's a 4d zombie shooter there which is sooooo addictive.check it out
