I'm a volunteer worker for a charity that supports adopted children. We've have many sessions here and the children have great fun. Crate stacking, paddle boarding, high ropes are great activities where teamwork builds friendships and confidence. The instructors have been very good. We had Stephen May 30th & 31st 2022 and he is exceptional in his interaction with young people.

I have used this place in the past as they run a great school holiday scheme for kids to get them outside doing activities such as kayaking and climbing etc. The location is brilliant as it’s sat on the river. I now use the centre for the monthly river litter pick that they organise which is once a month on a Saturday, it’s £3 per person and you go out on the river in a canoe for 2-3 hrs collecting litter from the river banks, this is an excellent thing to be a part of if you are interested in helping the environment,all details are on their website. Great visit to the centre with the NDCS, did archery and wall climbing for 24 kids aged 6 to 10, everyone loved it. Element l staff were excellent and made sure everyone one what to do, would definitely go back again to try some of the other activities.

What a exciting experience. Canoeing along the river on a beautiful sunny morning. Assisted by the friendly instructors Paul and Mel. The use of the hoist enabled me to have an adventure I thought I would never experience. Fantastic! Thank you everyone.

Absolutely great place and great staff. We've been sit on kayaking today and bushcraft before. I have complete trust in the staff, they make you feel comfortable and give you the reassurance that you need when doing something new. Can't wait for our next adventure.

Amazing work that the centre does for the community and environmentally. One of Leicesters hidden gems, staff are friendly and genuinely care about everyone enjoying their time there. Used to go to the after school club as a kid, absolutely loved it and made loads of friends of all ages. Only thing that could be improved is the activities on rainy days!

My son had his 7th birthday party here - bell boating with 7 friends. The staff - although scarce and rarely seen were helpful when asked questions. My son had a fabulous party, enjoyed his activity as did all the boys. Only suggestion is perhaps have available staff around so assist and guide?! Otherwise 👍🏻

May daughter came here with her Cub Scouts group and thoroughly enjoyed her day here which was an activity day that included canoeing, kayaking, paddle boating, high ropes etc. This place also offers activities for individuals you'll need to go on their Website see what they offer and book. The only downside to this place is the narrow entrance located very close to a large roundabout which can cause massive queues and disruption to traffic is their are any big event days on.

We have just had my daughters 9th birthday party here. The staff were absolutely fantastic and accomadated us even though the entire site was flooded! The boat trip to take the kids to the activity made it even more fun. All of the kids enjoyed and haven't stopped talking about their adventure. Thankyou so much LOPC

Went canoeing here and it was great, instructors were brilliant had great fun paddling up the river. the instructors were very helpful too without being patronizing will be here again soon.

Good as ever, however i must say the cues were very long. From 10-1pm we managed to do high ropes, zip line, leap of faith and climbing wall. And that's only as we were one of the first in..any later and its around 1 activity per hour.. annoying as we bought wristbands that allowed us unlimited activities, but it didn't even break even...hey ho

Recently went to centre as part of a leadership training retreat and enjoyed some activities along with other attendees. Staff at the centre were very friendly and on top of their game in terms of ensuring participant safety. A little bit of bad lack on the day in that first activity that we chose was Jacob's ladder. We got all harnessed in for the climb and the heavens opened up! I have never been outdoors during such a heavy downpour with the wind my back was drenched yet my front was dry in parts!!! The staff member called off the climb due to the conditions and we ran for cover.... as an alternative we then took part in indoor climbing followed by archery. The centre had hot drinks on offer to keep participants warm which was very welcome given the weather conditions outdoor. Would recommend especially given positive experience from start to finish with staff at centre.

I took my two grand-daughters to Paddlesports today. It was windy and blustery and we soon got into trouble, ending up with youngest grandchild headfirst into bankside brambles. Dave was our hero, getting us untangled, dealing with scratches, steering us and encouraging us all the way. It could have been a disaster, but we all enjoyed the experience, even helping to put the boats away. Thanks to Phil too who tied us to his boat part of the way and supervised the putting away of the boats. Can't wait to go back.

So much fun! Organised a very leisurely canoe from the centre to the White Horse pub in Birstall and back. Hilarious 😂! Great instructor. No experience needed and very good value for money. Going again soon!

This place is absolutely unbelievable! Who would have thought that such a place exists on the outskirts of a big city. The staff are excellent and able to work with any level of previous experience from none to expert. Reasonable prices and a fantastic adventure!

Had my daughter's 10th birthday party 90mins of Air rifle shooting and 30mins room hire afterwards for food and everything was excellent and affordable, kids had a fun and memorable exsperiance, venue and facility's were great and to top it all off the staff were polite, professional and great with the kids, would recommend to anyone looking to do something different for there kids birthdays or just looking for something to do with the family.

We attended the Leicester Outdoor Pursuits Centre on Sat 12th Nov to do an abseiling challenge to raise children in need. Chris was fantastic in supporting all of us to complete this activity and was so supportive. He even wasn't fazed when we turned up in bright yellow Pudsey onesies. The whole centre went above and beyond and we couldn't thank them enough. Recommend 110%. Thank you so much and we will see you guys again soon!
