M. C.I bought all 4 of my bridesmaids dresses from That Special Day and cannot fault the quality of the dresses or the staff in any way! My bridesmaids were made to feel beautiful and supported throughout the consultation by the staff, with all their opinions being listened to. We didn't feel pressurised in any way, which was a big difference from other bridal shops we had been in. The sizing options are varied which was perfect, and so many colour options to choose from. After buying the dresses I took them to be altered with an independent dress-maker who commented on the great quality of the dresses. Thank you very much again to the team at That Special Day Bridal, would 100% recommend!

I had my first combined appointment this month and I was not let down the girls are all so lovely and welcoming I knew I was in the perfect place as soon as I walked in. Alana was my consultant for my bridal and she is simply just amazing! She made me feel so at ease when I was a nervous wreck she knew exactly what she was doing from start to finish, went above and beyond to make me feel so special and because of her I have my perfect dress in my head and she has said they are more than willing to change any dress to make my perfect wedding dress with all my ideas and wants put together ❤️ Alana is so experienced it definitely shows she knows EVERYTHING you need to know about picking a wedding dress! Was so nice to know that Alana is getting married very soon herself which made it so much easier, sending her all the happiness when her special day arrives💒🥂 we had Megan for our bridesmaid half and she was so patient and such a lovely down to earth girl she went out her way to get me a sample for taking home, put up with my bridesmaids twerking away in their dresses to make sure they could still hit the dancfloor 🙄😂 she was more than happy for them to twerk and picture away. I cannot thank yous all enough and will be back very soon to say yes to my bridesmaids dresses and hopefully my wedding dress soon too 😁❤️
L. B.I cannot recommend That Special Day enough! I got my dress, veil and tiara from here and when I say the customer service was first class, I mean it! The staff are so friendly and very helpful, not to mention so patient! (I tired so many dresses on 🙈) the surroundings are beautiful too! L. P.I attended my appointment with my mum and SIL. We had a great introduction with Alana and Arlene❤️ The girls were amazing! Made me feel completely at ease, it was such a comfortable experience and we just had fun. I tried one five dresses and left with one that day! Couldn't rate my experience enough! Both girls went above and beyond! There was prosecco, tea, chocolate strawberries, and then mocktails when we were purchasing the dress. We were also gifted a beautiful box of flowers that smelled unreal😍 I was honestly treated like a princess from the moment I got there.. it was definitely the best bridal experience I've had that was so personal (it took me a few shops to find 'the one'). I'd recommend it to anyone xx
R. S.Myself, my Mum and my Bridesmaids visited the store today (05/09/22). We met with Claire who was very nice from start to finish and she was also highly professional. She made us all feel at ease very quickly and made us all feel welcome. The store itself is lovely and has a nice atmosphere. I managed to get dresses for all of my Bridesmaids, and even got to try on a few veils. I already have my wedding dress, but had I known at the time that That Special Day done wedding dresses as well I'd have probably got my dress from there. Great service and friendly staff. Will be back again.

They have dresses in different sizes to try on and the selection is amazing. It is an absolutely stunning shop and we felt really looked after. M.10.10.21 Booked with TSD bridal warehouse to find both my wedding dress and bridesmaid dresses. Finished the appointment with both from the help of Megan, our consultant. She was so patient and helpful. I felt very comfortable with Megan which I was quite worried about before going. Overall a fantastic experience and what a beautiful bridal warehouse it is. 10/10 💗

She is fantastic at what she does, made you feel at ease explained everything we needed to know and also getting me in and out of the stunning dresses. The day from start to finish was faultless and all the small details Prosecco, chocolate strawberries, tea, hot chocolate was such a lovely touch. Actually saying YES to my dream dress felt amazing and my bridesmaids too. Another plus was the complimentary taxi they put on for us to get back to the train station with a little mix up and some of us stranded the lovely staff took time out at the end of their shift to take the rest to the train station. She gave me some really good advice when choosing dresses for my bridesmaids to try on. Chloe was very informative and answered any questions we had on the dresses. We were so happy to go ahead and order them and I cannot wait to pick them up!

I loved that I could go in a couple of weeks before to have a look around and pick out a few favourites from their large collection before going back to try on with my bridesmaid. This made the process so easy and relaxed! They have such a great selection of colours and you can see at least 1 dress in most which makes such a difference! I visited with 4 of my bridesmaids and from the minute we walked in we were made to feel welcome. It was honestly a lovely experience for us all. Claire made everyone of us feel so comfortable. C. T.I picked up my dream dress today and my bridesmaids. We absolutley love them we were able to try them on and move about in them take pictures and get advice on things we were unsure of . The over all experience from trying dresses on to picking them up was amazing my worry was being a plus size bride how would I feel but it honestly it was amazing. The set up is amazing you are made feel welcome asked if you want prosecco hot drinks veils belts shoes its amazing words cant describe it you need to experience it. I also found out that the manager has been to the same place as we are going to our honeymoon and was chatting away about it. I also managed to get a fantastic deal on my flower girls dress. I am over the moon thank yous all very much cant wait for the big day now. I 110% recommend here for your dress experience we travelled but its was well worth it. Thank you

Claire was so helpful, from taking note of my likes/dislikes, pointing out dresses she thought I would like and being so attentive and putting me at ease straight away, thank you Claire, you were amazing!
The place itself is beautiful, this isn’t just shopping for a wedding dress, this is an experience. So much attention to detail and the little personal touches did not go unnoticed, they just make you feel so special 😍

The whole warehouse is packed with the most amazing wedding and Bridesmaids dresses.
We are coming back in November as one of our bridal party was sadly ill and could not be there and Alanna the maid of honour (Stephs big sister) is heavily pregnant just now.

S. M.Fiona McAlinden here newly married on Saturday 06/03/21. I couldn't leave another review as I had left one previously after my initial appointment in the shop, but I just had to leave one after my big day to say how unbelievable my dress was.
I ordered the Belaina dress however, really wanted sleeves on it and the girls said that was no problem.
They sure did an amazing job. My sleeves were made with the same material as the netting on my dress including the beautiful detail.
Honestly, so delighted with my dress and love how accommodating the girls were especially during the pandemic and ensuring I had my dress on time.
I would recommend anyone to visit that special day because the girls went over and above to make sure I felt my best and had the dress of my dreams.

They made pleasing 5 bridesmaids (split between two appointments and even some via video call) and a bride so much easier than we had expected given the restrictions in place.
Their advice and knowledge on styles and colours was fantastic and the mocktails provided while the order forms were prepared were a lovely touch. It was a great experience all round and they have a beautiful collection of dresses.

D. B.I can’t recommend enough!!.. from the first phone call full of enthusiasm, to the seamstress going above and beyond to create my bespoke bridal and bridesmaids dresses. They are the best of quality and look so rich and classy. Every appointment was special and even when they were super busy, I still felt like the only bride in the room. Nothing was any trouble for them and they weren’t happy unless I was happy. Can’t ask for anything better!!

Covid safety was well in place and with that aimee made us feel very safe but also very normal under the "new normal". In regards to the dresses Aimee really listened to me and the bridesmaids and gave us so many options as well as customised ideas for certain dresses. She made us feel very welcome and helped us pick the perfect dresses for the big day. Afterwards she surprised us with lovely cocktails to celebrate 🥰. The store is absolutely beautiful and luckily enough we had the whole place to ourselves. L. Q.I attended TSD today (3/10/21) with my mum and bridesmaids and had such a lovely experience. Our consultant today was Sophie and i dont think I was her easiest customer as I walked in today in a not great head space about trying on dresses and yet left today with me and my 3x bridesmaids all having picked our dresses. Mine needs a couple of changes and Sophie was completely able to find solutions for whatever I asked and also help give me a visual about what the end result will look like as well.
My girls also had different choices in the end and nothing was a hassle for Sophie when we had her running around for different styles. She was also so knowledgeable about the dresses as I asked for a different style option in particular for my sister and Sophie picked one out that was the perfect one and which my sister actually picked.
I was dreading my appointment and actually left today a very happy girl!

K. M.I visited TSD yesterday which was my first ever bridal appointment, I was so nervous but from the moment we walking in the door the entire experience was amazing. Sophie greeted us in the car park and instantly put me at ease, she took us to the area we would be using which was decorated beautifully and explained what to expect and offered us drinks and even brought chocolate covered strawberries. Whilst making my dress selection she was encouraging and let me wander up and down giving me plenty of time to make a decision. When trying the dresses on she was so supportive and attentive and had me standing in position whilst she made sure the dress was sitting properly and looking perfect before pulling back the curtains to reveal me to the bridal party. The space we had was perfect I had plenty space to walk up and down. Pictures were encouraged and Sophie gave us space to do this and to have a chat. It was a fantastic experience from start to finish! Can’t wait to return for the bridesmaids appointment!

This was her visit to any bridal place and she was so nervous Sophie was her consultant and she put my daughter at ease straight way. You are greeted with a sign with your name on it and taken to your dressing area which is so spacious. The place is so beautifully decorated. My daughter could walk out with her dress on and walk down to the big mirror which was great. We were also offered proceseco & water and strawberries covered in chocolate these extra touches made it so special and we could take pictures. Sophie answered any questions we had and just so helpful with everything. We have booked to go back in June to look at bridesmaid dresses and I know it will be a great experience for the bridesmaids. A. C.I had my appointment yesterday, I was nervous as I don't have a lot of confidence or self esteem, but that quickly faded away with the help of Sophie and Holly.
Sophie had only recently started but you would never of known as she was complete pro and put me at ease and guided me to what I wanted in a dress.
I tried 6 dresses on in total, and it came down to 2 and then eventually my sister in law picked the winner which left everyone in tears. I felt everything a bride to be should when I never thought was possible.
The place is set out beautifully, and the safety measures in place do not hinder the experience at all, we all felt completely safe and at ease. So much so we are returning on the 5th of June for bridesmaids dresses.

I had been searching for the perfect bridesmaid dresses for years & didn't find any we all loved & was worried we would have to settle for one. Until I came across this store on Facebook and I loved all of the dresses on the website. We live in Wales so when I saw that they were in Scotland I didn't think we could buy them but after chatting to them on facebook we found we could order them online. The girls were all so helpful in getting the measurements and then making our dresses & when they arrived they were perfect & more than I could have imagined & they were also a perfect fit. The colour was also an amazing blue & the exact colour I wanted.
So thank you so much to the girls at that special day bridal for all their help in us getting our peefect bridesmaids dresses & I would 100% recommend these ladies whether you or local or live far away like me!!

I live no where near the bridal shop as I’m all the way in England so couldn’t get my bridesmaid in for a consultation or fitting, I sent off for some colour swatches and spent weeks going through the web site with my sister till she found the dress she wanted . We sent off my sisters measurements using the online ordering system for custom measurements, any questions I had were answered really quick via either email or social media, my sisters dress has arrived and it fits perfectly! They do advise that the custom orders are not made to measure and will require some alterations but there is literally one small thing I need to have adjusted, it is always a worry when ordering something like this online so for this to turn out as perfect as it has is a huge relief. Thank you ❤️

And it was such a lovely day and experience there was no rush, no bad vibes just pure fun and enjoyment, I was so worried I wouldn't find one but they also made them in my colour! The staff at TSD were fabulous to deal with, the dresses were dispatched immediately and, apart from being on the small side, the dresses were exactly as expected. We had a party ranging from size 10 to size 26, and we all looked wonderful in these dresses of I do say so myself. We shipped to London, Hong Kong and Ireland, and had to do exchanges so we spoke to the girls several times for help. They were always very easy and pleasant to work with. Really impressed and would recommend to anyone!

K. D.I cannot recommend that special day bridal warehouse enough. Myself and my 4 bridesmaids visited alongside my Mum, fiances Mum and my little girl to get our bridesmaids dresses. Our consultant Julie was just amazing. She was friendly, fun, bubbly and very professional. She advised us on how they worked and their brilliant process on looking and choosing the dressed had my bridesmaids picking their favourite dress in no time! She was honest and wasnt shy in giving her expert opinion on the dressed which really did help. She was also very kind and let my little girl try on some dressed too to make her feel part of it which was a great wee touch. The 'warehouse' in its self was beautiful. Wonderfully decorated and the little touches such as sweets, mocktails and fun photos at the end really did go along way in making the experience so great, all the other staff that we spoke to were all also so lovely and genuinely excited for us. Also, most importantly, the dresses are all beautiful and so reasonably priced which really helps keep the every growing costs of the wedding down. Alana also offered to have my own bespoke veil made which just made my day. We bought my wedding dress and bridesmaid dresses along with accessories etc and couldn’t believe the price for our beautiful gowns. As this was my first experience of wedding dress shopping I did not have any expectations and was not planning on finding my wedding dress. While Leona was away dealing with administrative stuff to do with the purchase I browsed about and even found my bridesmaid dresses!! Myself and my bridesmaids where made to feel very welcome from the moment we walked in.
We were all made to feel like princesses and the dresses well they where absolutely out of this world!they have a style to suit everyone and a very wide range of colours for bridesmaids dresses as well which is just what I needed.
I would just like to personally thank Alana and Julie for helping me choose not only my perfect dress but also bridesmaids dresses,but most of all for actually seeing the real me and not my size.
Alana and Julie where not only patient but they understood how much out of my comfort zone I was and they made me feel at ease and didn’t push me into trying on anything I didn’t want to. Even though the dress I originally wanted didn’t suit me at all (which I realised once I tried it on) they let me try on one similar and no longer was it on that I was taking it back off.we may have tried on a few dresses but I’m the end I found the one that not only made me feel like a queen but made me feel beautiful and that’s because they both took an interest in making sure I felt relaxed and comfortable.
The level of professionalism that was shown was completely off the charts!!they take into account everything that you would like and what you wouldn’t like in your dress.
I can’t thank either of them enough for making that day so special and memorable for all.
The amount of respect that not only I was shown but also my bridesmaids when they where choosing there dresses was unbelievable words can not describe how much respect love and loyalty I have towards not only Alana and Julie but to all the staff at that special day bridal warehouse because they are in one word PHENOMENAL. They were that amazing that two of my friends want to get remarried just so that they can go back for their dresses.
I would highly recommend that anyone looking for a wedding dress,bridesmaid dresses or flower girl dresses book an appointment here because you will not be disappointed in the level of service,quality of the dresses or even how amazing the staff are!!!

We had our own girl dealing with us and everyone was so involved and complimentary it was an amazing experience. They were fab at managing my expectations all the way through and my dress even came earlier than I expected. All 4 girls loved their dresses too.
One of my bridesmaids wasn’t able to make the first appointment and we had arranged to go back down midweek and I’d pay hers then. However, my mum sadly passed away the day after I chose my dress so I was sending my bridesmaid herself and I let them know this and they were so supportive to the extent they even sent me a bunch of flowers which I’ll forever be grateful for.

I was made to feel so welcome on arrival & greeted with smiles & cheery faces - it really shows that not only are the girls work colleagues but good friends too which is so nice to see! Julie was amazing - such a genuine, down to earth person who knows her stuff when it comes to wedding dresses & reccommending the best styles to compliment my shape/size. My mum & future mother in law (who travelled over from America to go dress shopping!) really enjoyed the complimentary drinks & relaxed atmosphere. I'm pleased to say that with Julie's help I said yes to the dress, tiara & veil!! I cannot wait to come back to try it on once it arrives in store. Again thanks to Kayleigh too who dealt with my online enquiries when I purchased my bridesmaids dresses from here. You are all fab & I really appreciate your help ... Being from Livi, and having followed the store for a while, I really wanted to have a look here for my wedding dress, so travelled from Gateshead yesterday and I am so happy I did! Really good safety measures in place to make the warehouse covid secure, and loved being greeted at the car with the little chalkboards (so cute!). Myself and my mum were made to feel comfortable right from the start and my consultant Claire is an absolute DREAM. Thinking I knew what I wanted Claire explained all the different styles really well and gave me some time to pick a few out to try. I found THE ONE after only 4 dresses and in a completely different silhouette to what I had thought I wanted haha! Claire really helped me gain the confidence to try some different styles and left the store having found the dress of my dreams!! But thanks as well to Julie and Alana for being so helpful and encouraging. Overall, was just an amazing experience and I can't wait to go back with my bridesmaids in a few months!💛💛

She gave us time to go and look, and gave us advice with each dress. I loved every minute of it my family and I were made so welcomed and we all got a drink, even my nephew got a hot chocolate, this was so cool. I am pleased everyone was made to feel as welcome as I was. Shanna held my appointment and was great, new what she was talking about and SO happy to help in every way she could, she encouraged me to try on dresses I thought I would hate and I never, I am so pleased she prompted me to do this I really feel this experience could not have been any better. I found MY dress here and did not want to take it off, I was not rushed or hurried through this process everything was in my own time and Shanna was always happy to give my 5 minutes to talk if needed. Our mocktails after I said YES to the dress was a lovely wee surprise and a really lovely touch. I will be back for my Bridesmaid dresses and cannot wait. I took my bridesmaids to try on dresses and I was 5 months pregnant at the time and the lovely staff agreed to give me the deal but wait until my baby had been born before I chose my dress. They couldn't do enough for me. I went back when I had my baby and the girls were lovely and I picked my dress and it arrived 15 weeks later so plenty of time. We were taken to our booth which was lovely and had a chat about bridesmaids dresses.
Julie was friendly and bubbly, she made the girls feel very comfortable. We all had a great time and would definitely recommend a visit here with her.
C.After searching loads of shops in Edinburgh and Glasgow for a bridesmaid dress in a particular colour we visited That Special Day, I wish we had gone there first! They had a huge selection and the colour choice was massive!
Really love the dress and price was very reasonable.
The service was so good I decided to have my bridal alterations done here even though I bought my dress elsewhere. Gabby the seamstress is a genius! She has added a corset to my dress and there’s no way I’d know it wasn’t supposed to be there!
The price of alterations was far more reasonable than the prices of the shop I originally purchased my bridal dress from and the attention to detail has been fantastic.
We dealt mainly with Kayleigh and she’s been fab, all our fittings have felt like we’re going to visit a friend. She’s made it so much fun!
The other girls we’ve met have been lovely too and even helped out with a spot of babysitting while I was being pinned into my wedding dress!
There is a big selection of bridal dresses in the shop, even though I wasn’t looking to purchase one we had a look through and there’s really something for everyone, lots of different styles to choose from.
The flower girls dresses are adorable too!
Can not reccomend this place enough! I’m going to miss our Friday morning fittings!

Before the appointment I received a reminder email of my appointment and Claire personally called me the day of the appointment to remind me as well and to ask if I needed anything special for the appointment. I am originally from the United States and my fiancé, Scott, is from West Lothian, so I was realistic with the fact that my mother and sister would not be able to fly over to attend the appointment. The staff at That Special Day Bridal allowed me to use their WIFI so I could FaceTime my mother and sister into the appointment, which allowed them the opportunity to watch me try on dresses, help choose dresses, and be part of that special bridal moment in finding THE dress!!
It was my first time trying on dresses and really all I expected was to find out my size and what style and shape worked best for my personality and my body-type, but what I came out with was so so much more!! The staff greeted us with a manner that instantly made us feel like family. They brought us to our seats and offered us a free bridal cocktail or drink to have during the appointment. Once all of my guests arrived, Claire explained that she had read my email regarding what I was looking for in terms of a dress. We then took a tour around the boutique and she showed me the different styles of dresses.
I chose three dresses to start off with, and as my mother and sister FaceTimed in I was stepping out in my first dress. All of the dresses I tried on were absolutely gorgeous! I had an idea in mind of what I was looking for in terms of a dress so Claire had me try those on first. I loved them but I just didn't have THAT feeling. On my second trip to the racks I found three more dresses to try on (one chosen by my sister and two chosen by myself and my future mother-in-law); all absolutely beautiful. Out of the corner of my eye I saw a beautiful dress - completely unique looking - it was romantic, elegant, flowy, intricate detailing, just utterly beautiful. It was nothing like I'd ever seen and also NOTHING like I ever imagined wearing. I thought I would try it on though. Even though it wasn't in my next set of three dresses, Claire decided to put me in it first. The moment I stepped out of the dressing room and stepped on the pedestal to look in the mirror I know that it was THE ONE! I looked at myself in mirror and I almost didn't recognise myself - it made me look and feel exactly the way I imagined myself looking and feeling on my wedding day! That moment was THE bridal moment! I broke out into little tears and my future sister-in-law said my mother and sister did as well! I knew that it was THE dress!

Firstly there is always great deals and regular sales so I found this to be the cheapest place around for what I was looking for.
I have got my dress and underskirt and 3 bridesmaids dresses and even a little mini wedding dress for my 2 year old daughter all in sales or with discounts saving myself over £1000.
All the girls Shana, Natasha and Claire are just lovely and so helpful, they really go that extra mile to make sure you go away with a smile on your face and Kayleigh in particular is just so welcoming I have never met such a friendly bubbly person, she really knows her stuff!
I would definitely recommend for great value and a happy friendly atmosphere.

She did everything to accommodate us and our bride during our appointment taking time and care to include and involve everyone in explaining the separate ranges of the dresses in stock and available to order in making sure we knew the options we had for choice.
We didn't actually settle on precise dresses and chose to sleep on our decision but I feel I need to leave feedback just to reiterate how your staff made us feel today. Julie assured us that it was absolutely ok to not buy today and that the appointment was about our needs, that we weren't wasting anyone's time, they are here to help us and not railroad anyone into buying which had such a positive impact on us as this surely must be a sales driven industry. She was genuinely interested in us all and not just pushing through a sale.
Because of this we will absolutely be back once we have gathered our thoughts and make a firm decision. Please know what an asset your staff are to you-in particular Julie, who it was a pleasure to have helping us today.

I had dress made in a different colour from what was shown in the shop with extra details added- which was perfect and just as we had visioned it if not better!
Their alterations separately are a fantastic service and they alter items not bought at the store at a great price compared to competitors.

I went in today and got my dream dress, i was so nervous to start with but alanna made me feel toral relaxed sat down with myself , mum and mother in law and talked us through what the appointment would be about and what we would be doing then i picked 3 dresses and she gave us all the time in the world to pick and wasnt hanging over rushing alanna went back through to the reception and let us get on with it, tried my 3 dresses on then went back to the one i absolutely loved. Alanna was absolutely welcoming, so nice, and just full of perfection from start to finish, couldnt have thanked alanna enough for what she had done for me today, also got a wee gift a wee candle and got our photos taken with wee bride sachets & stuff, absolutely incredible. We are unfortunately having to send some dresses backy due to being to small, but the person who dealt with us did highly stress that she would rather have our actual body measurements then she could choose a size for us.... unfortunately we where a bad bridal party and got to excited and just ordered them (oooops!)
