B. O. M.We booked blue lion band for our wedding back in March 2020 which unfortunately got postponed due to covid. Anthony couldn't have been more helpful, helping us check availability and letting us move our date.
we had an online account were we could pop any requests, check our remaining balance and just keep everything in one place which was really handy. we'd been to see the band play at a rehearsal (twice because we enjoyed it so much the first time) and we requested a certain musician which we managed to get on the day and we were super happy and our guests we're totally blown away by the talent that these guys had.
The band on the night were really professional and friendly and we had so many good reviews from our guests on how good the band were, if we could have had them play for 8 hours we would have!
I can't recommend blue lion band enough, they really made our wedding day special and the night went down really well with everyone.
T. G.The Blue Lion Group were our wedding band last week and they were AMAZING!! So many of our guests commented that they were the best wedding band they’ve ever seen and we wholeheartedly agree. We had the best evening celebrating & dancing away to their amazing performances. Special mention to Dessie who was a pleasure to arrange everything with beforehand (and helped the venue fix the PA system once they’d finished)! We can’t recommend them enough, and would 100% hire them again….we just need to find another excuse to have a big party!

Honestly the best band ever, great music, friendly personalities, very talented and down to earth. Would recommend them to anyone wanting a band. Did not stop dancing to them.

A band was really important to us and we enquired with a lot, they were by far the most professional, easy to deal with, helpful band. Dessie is brilliant and their online management system is perfect.
Brilliant value for money as on the day the band was amazing!!! Cocktail drinks and party music later were so good, including all the songs we said we like. They made our first dance so special and our guests haven’t stopping raving about them.
I would book them again in a heartbeat and highly recommend.

R. H.Where to begin with Blue Lion Band … the moment I got engaged I knew straight away which band I was going to book at our wedding, they were one of the first suppliers I had booked, after hearing them at my sister in laws wedding it was clear there was no other band!
Vicky and Adam played at our ceremony and oh my goodness, Vicky’s voice is just out of this world, Adam who was equally as talented played the guitar, the both of them were just amazing and I can’t thank them enough for doing such amazing job to our chosen songs. My husband, who was nervous and didn’t really take much in around him noticed and commented on how amazing they both were. At this point I had such high expectations for the evening and let me tell you, I was not disappointed!
Vicky, was lead singer, like I said before she was incredible, Adam was on guitar, the occasional guitar solo were insane. Jay on the keyboard particularly stood out to me when playing our first song, which was really special. Jaz, on bass, brought all the music together, gave it the groove. Micro on sax and Ben on trumpet, I did not know I needed this combo until I heard them, definitely worth having as part of the band! Dessie on drums, you can feel the passion he has for music in the way he plays.
Dessie was who I spoke to when booking Blue Lion Band, it was super easy, all my queries where responded to very quickly and any worries I had were sorted. Thank you to you all, I honestly can’t thank you enough, I had so many compliments on the music, the talent, I especially want to say a big thank you for taking a last minute request for spice girls, we had a lot of happy guests due to this! We never had an empty dance floor when the band played, the vibe was great, music was fantastic, I can’t sing blue lions band’s praises enough!

H. P.Blue Lion Band performed at our wedding last week at Botleys Mansion and they were amazing from start to finish! They had everyone up dancing and brought so much energy to the evening. The real crowd pleaser was "Sweet Caroline" we've watched the video over and over again! Would definitely recommend them if you're looking for a wedding band.

M. H.We were one of many couples effected by Covid-19. However, that seems to long ago now after the most perfect of wedding days. A huge part of that was the amazing Blue Lion Band. Dessie was fantastic to to deal with. His positive and knowledgeable approach was perfect. His enthusiasm was infectious.
We ended up going for a bigger band than expected after attending one of the show cases, but was our own decision, we were not pushed in any way at any time to do so. Dessie listened carefully to what we wanted, and tailored the perfect band for us.
On the day, the band arrived and set up without us even noticing they were there... and then they started. They were even better than we remembered or could have dreamed about. Every single guest commented that they were the best wedding band they had even seen or heard.
We love our day, and the Blue Lion Band were a huge part of that!

They have yearsssss of experience, can gage the vibe of the room to know what to play next to get the best out of your guests. They had everyone moving and you can tell they just love what they do, which makes all the difference. I can’t wait to see them at friends weddings just to do it all over again!!! Going to see them play initially was defiantly worth it, as we got a feel of what size band and instruments we wanted, we went for a 5 piece. We would highly recommend this band for a wedding where the couple wants a full, high energy dance floor taking their celebrations well into the night!!

Dance floor was full all night and guests were really complimentary of the band. vij attention to detail during planning and his patience to listen our requests was great. He put a lot of effort in looking for the right band members that could best deliver the best show. . He was extremely flexible and he would accommodate the planning calls around our timings, even on weekends which we really appreciate it when we were busy with everything else!
I appreciated that one of the band members was Argentinian , as I felt I had someone from the inside to understand my niche music requests that were played greatly. Their client website was also a good way of keeping constant communication with us.
Compare to our friends wedding, we paid much more but looking back it didn't dissapoint and everyone enjoyed the dance floor. Thanks guys!
