We found this place as my group wanted to have a little bit of a fancier dinner while visiting London. We saw their three course menu for only 25 pounds; it even came with a glass of wine! We made a reservation and took the tube over. Unfortunately, there wasn't really a direct bus line that brought us there and had to walk about 15 minutes. However, the view was amazing as we walked along with a beautiful view of the London Bridge. The restaurant was in almost the furthest corner of the whole line.
When we arrived, I told the staff I had made a reservation, but they looked at me very confused. The host finally came and seated us. It wasn't busy so it was fine, but my group still felt like confused why they acted the way they did. Anyways, this place has a beautiful view of the skyline and bridge so it was very lovely. We ordered the chicken terrine, cauliflower soup, and mackerel, risotto and sea bream, and the rice pudding and orange sorbet. For the wine, we were just given the option of red or white. The food was amazing. We were super impressed and happy that we were able to do such a meal without hurting our wallets.
When we came to pay, I had put some of my coin pounds in hopes to get rid of them, but received even more coins! It seemed that the host didn't have any single pounds and it was pretty cumbersome. I think that the food here was great and amazing, with a beautiful view. However, service was a bit unwelcoming and made us feel uncomfortable. I would come back again for the set menu though.

Food tastes much better than how it looks. Presentation is simple and almost borderline pub-like, but the marriage of all the different flavours was excellent all the way. Views are incredible too. This is much better than I expected, but service is woefully slow and feels as if the waiters are so stressed out by how they aren't able to cope with the orders.

I attended a supper club and Chef Patel, he & his crew treated us like royalty.
We enjoyed the Beef & Beer evening. A collaboration with Small Beer Co. It was a great match (as you would expect). Chef Patel showed his flair & training with multiple mouthwatering dishes. The steak tartare was one of the best dishes I've ever had.
Prime steak, finely diced, mingled with roast sunflower seed, a hint of kohlrabi, pickles and nasturtium leaf, set against a foil of sweet mustard on the side.
Dishes were matched with different beers and beer cocktail the pairing knocked my socks off. The whole event ticked boxes I didn't know I had! I have to say sensational taste and value. Complex flavours delivered brilliantly.

The view was pretty spectacular - "pretty" not "completely" because there were those white bars standing in between the windows, hindering slightly the imposing background starring the renowned Tower Bridge. The food was mediocre and the service was nice, but very slow. Like very very slow. So slow that I almost ended up missing my train. Aside from that, I would recommend it to anyone looking for a casual meal, featuring a stunning backdrop.

Riverside views/ seating, large glass windows that give you a panoramic view of London, the website allows you to book in advance with relative ease. There are lunch and seasonal offers on food. The food served is tasty, made with care and you can take your time with your meal as the (very friendly) staff let you enjoy meals in peace. The food is very good value for money and the atmosphere and decor of the restaurant is lovely.

Had lunch from the evening standard menu. £15 for two courses with a glass of wine. Lovely spot on the water to catch up with friend for lunch. Beetroot and goats cheese salad to start and steak for main.
G. T.
Attentive service and nice to have the chef's come and greet us and ask how our meal was. Portion sizes could be bigger for a sharing plate experience with friends.

Excellent brunch menu on Sunday. Up to the usual standard. Nice and relaxed with view of the Thames.

A cosy place with a light atmosphere to enjoy a coffee or a meal appreciating a beautiful view to the Thames River. Good service and delicious food. A tasteful Sea Bass fillet and a yummy Polenta dishes notntoo expensive.

Very nice place with an extraordinary view to the bridge. For lunch it’s kind of quiet with a very casual service. Nice menu.

Very very affordable but still very tasty 😋 Amazing views as well

Delicious food, friendly staff and awesome views.

Very nice view, but the food is just ok. I had the mushroom risotto with tenderstem broccoli. and French toast for dessert.

Big portions, reasonable prices

This is an excellent choice for a restaurant with a river view. The windows are floor-to-ceiling and you can see Tower Bridge in one direction, Canary Wharf in the other. The room is airy and smart, the staff are welcoming and on the ball, and the food has always been very good every time I have visited. And if you choose the set menu, you get a very good bargain indeed. Highly recommended.

A perfect Valentine's Day meal framed by a stunning view of Tower Bridge and the Thames. The food was delicious and even though it was our waiter's first day you would never have known it. The service was impeccable.

We ate here as a family (all adults) last night, taking advantage of the excellent value Evening Standard menu - £15 for 2 courses or £20 for 3 courses with a glass of wine . I think this deal is available until 7th Sept, but friends say the pre-theatre menu is the same menu and also well-priced. Ask for a window table as the view (Tower Bridge and the river) is spectacular. The food was really excellent, especially the pork belly and the hangar steak. Allegedly the beef & coconut curry (with chips!) is legendary but sadly was off-menu last night. Pecan fudge tart for dessert was also delicious. The restaurant is casual with very friendly service. It's in a lovely and quiet location on the river beyond Tower Bridge. I would highly recommend and we'll be back.

Excellent food, impeccable service provided by Carla and her team; she spent time to explain the restaurant's concept and was very obviously proud of the head chef and his food - its so nice to feel valued as a customer! The restaurant had a very nice ambience and deserves to do well. The views of Tower bridge are truly amazing!

I must admit I was a little anxious booking this place for Christmas Day lunch after reading some reviews however from the moment we rocked up, our group of 4 couldn’t have been more impressed.
Greeted with a smile, coats taken and sat with drinks. The place was decked out in Christmas decorations and the view was lovely. Food was absolutely delicious and we weren’t rushed to move off our table either. The bill was a little pricey but overall I’m very happy and would recommend

I love this restaurant. It's one of my mum's faves as it's round the corner. The views of Tower Bridge and the river are unrivalled; the staff are friendly and very professional. When we first started going Jeremy Lee was head chef and he was on that pioneering wave of nose to tail eating affording dishes such as delicious lamb's sweetbreads. There have been many changes since then; currently, I am a little doubtful, but I will go again before elaborating.
R. G.
A very recommended restaurant and with a very good location. With some original dishes and a mix of flavours that had not tasted never before. The guests remained all in loved with this restaurant. Definitely next time I visit London will go back. Relation quality-price is acceptable, maximum if we compare it with the prices of london restaurants that do not serve fast-food. A time expecting different courses reasonably normal. Thank you chef amb workers of the Blue Print Café !

This is located in the old Design Museum on Shad Thames. I haven't been back to this area since the museum relocated, so I was interested to see how they'd used the space. in a word - great. The dining area has full height windows overlooking the Thames and Tower Bridge and the City, though unfortunately we weren't able to bag a window seat this time.
We went on a Friday night. The cafe was busy, but not packed. The staff were very friendly and professional. The place had a very relaxed vibe. The set menu had a good range of dishes.
Our meals were brought to the table by the chefs, as well as the front of house staff, and we could see the food being prepared through the window to the kitchen.
Two of us decided on deserts as well, though this was a complete indulgence because we were full. We umm'ed and arh'ed about ordering some side dishes, but in the end didn't which helped the pudding decision.

The service is good enough, but not expert.
My date ordered the scampi to start, followed by the bream. Glad to see she was pleased with it.
I ordered the duck risette starter, then the lamb rump. Neither were edible, and I am by no means a fussy eater.
Had a great date, but only for the view and the company.
It seems to me that this place is reliant on locale rather than cuisine.
L. A.
A small-ish cute restaurant with an awesome view over the Thames and Tower Bridge! Prices are okay, given the location. Food is delicious. Staff is absolutely brilliantly polite and friendly. A reservation is recommended. Perfect for a date, a meetup with friends or family or to dine alone even!
A. T.
Great location, a beautiful view. We were in for the Christmas menu. The personell seemed a bit overburdened. The soup was great, the three stars are for that and the view. The remaining part of the menu was mediocre, and it was not possible to get a milk for the coffe before it got cold. Should be better for a 50+ menu.
C. W.
I didn't have to pay for this meal but if at the end they had asked, 'either you can give one of your arms or you can go back in time and not have this meal', I would have said, 'which arm?'
C. M.
We booked a table for their Evening Standards menu offer - 2/3 courses for £15/£20 including a glass of white or red wine. The menu was slightly different to the one on their websit but still there is a choice of seafood, meat and vegetarian mains. Some dishes are lighter then others. The pan fried seabream served with an orange salad was a lighter main than the belly pork with red pepper & chorizo. Both was nice dishes although the seabream for me was bit over cooked. The belly pork was nice and tender, with the crackling pork cooked at a lovely texture.
The reason i gave it three stars is the service was too slow and not much at all. We had to constantly get attention of staff. Also our sides took ages to arrive instead of coming with our mains like other tables. Also there was a very small hair in my lemon posset which we scooped out some of the mousse. Otherwise, the food was nice overall. Do recommend to sit near the window for a riverside view. But definitely not on a hot and very sunny day. It will feel very hot. The restaurant does not have air con even if you don't sit near the window.

This is such a great place at lunch, when it's quiet and you have a lovely view of the river. I love the brightness of this place.. it doesn't feel crowded, the menu is simple but delicious, it's perfect and uncomplicated.

Visited this hidden gem in London after a recommendation from a friend. The food was spectacular, the service was above average and the views were breathtaking. I dined with a pescetarian who was also delighted with the menu and his chosen meal. Before departing we were sure to pass our compliments to the chef....Highly recommended!
S. D.
Lovely venue, and great wine, but food not up to scratch. Limited party menu (fine), good choices, but mackerel starter was only 1 fillet, and a slice of beetroot instead of the 2nd. Steak options were medium or well done, no rare/blue available, and it wasn't the most tender. Triple cooked in dripping chips very poor, no crispiness and didn't feel triple cooked. The 90's called they want your chip arrangement back. Puddings fine, but could have been bought in. Cheese plate nice, but a little unimaginative (cheddar, blue & brie). Bread and wine both delicious, and staff attentive, if a little slow.
D. R.
Eating here is quite a confusing experience. The chef and the food are wonderful and should be commended. In addition, the views of the Thames and Tower Bridge are amongst the best that can be had. However, the concept of modern British tapas fails horribly as none of the dishes are conducive to sharing and the cost of most the dishes are prohibitively expensive for the small portions provided. Not to mention the complete lack of atmosphere and decor. The food looks and tastes like you’re dinning at a top establishment but everything else falls woefully short.
G. A.
Good place, suffered from closure of design museum, but has reorganised to provide a British take on tapas, with friendly front of house and excellent chefs who both deliver your food and remove the plates after, the net result is great feed back in both directions.
Wonderful idea.....
Well worth a visit.
V.
A place with a great view. Food and entertainment was good as well.

Fabulous all around. Soused Herring with beetroot and horseradish was delicious. Beef Wellington with mash and greens beans was amazing. Christmas Pudding with Brandy Sauce to top it off. The service was on point! Highly recommended.
R. P.
Great location and views, sitting almost above the river. Friendly service and interesting menu, midrange prices - set dinner menu of two course 20£, three courses - 25£. The raw beef starter and oxtail tortellini were amazing.
Great place for dates as you can visit a design museum exhibition before the meal.
A. M.
Good food, nice views. Service was a little bit odd last time we went. (The menu is not extensive, but when one of our group asked what "supreme" meant, the waiter just shrugged and said "it means nothing, it's just a way of putting it on the menu". I would expect the staff to know better in a very established restaurant like this.)
C. O.
Just had dinner at the BLUE PRINT café and it was delightful and the city views terrific. I was curious as to why the burger listed on the menu had a sub note indicating that "the burgers were cooked thoroughly" so I asked the charming and helpful hostess Katrina if I could have my burger medium well. Folks in England prefer meat to be well done as I had already experienced. Although she said cooked well done is the way burgers come, she said she would ask the chef especially for me. Low and behold I got my wish and had a perfectly medium well 'pink' burger. This was special and very much appreciated for both Katrina + the chef to grant my wish. My partner and guest also had superb meals. We will return,

Good food and service. Drinks well done. A good view of Thames River with seating at the windows. Restaurant is on second floor WITH SEVERAL FLIGHTS TO CLIMB, NO ELEVATOR so handicap beware.

I was leading a bike ride and stopped here for a tea and some cake. The cake was nice and the tea reasonable. We then visited the Cycling Revolution Exhibition upstairs which was excellent, well laid out, not too long and most informative.

I've visited the Blueprint café quite a few times over the last few years, and can definitely highly recommend the food, the service, the atmosphere, and the view. My personal favourite is their Onglet steak, which was a real eye-opener for me in terms of under-used cuts. The café is definitely not cheap, but it's by no means on the expensive end of London prices - I would say that you can probably expect to pay £30 per head, and I would definitely say that the food is worth the money.
A. H.
Nothing to complain about - nothing to write home about. The location is a bit random and out of the way but nice views of the river. They have a set menu which is a pretty good deal and the pork belly I had was the highlight.
T. P. S.
Had a 3-course dinner. Opted for confit chicken terrine (starter), mushroom risotto (main), carrot cake (dessert). All was amazing, but especially the risotto was incredible!
A. S.
Wonderful experience from the food to the service and the view was such an added bonus! Such a treat! We were a large group so might expect slower service but everything was just perfect.

Excellent meal, service and view.

A nice spot. I have brought friends here for casual dinner when visiting London as the views are lovely and the food is nice for a reasonable price.

The service was wonderful and the staff were super attentive but the portions were very small. We ordered from the set menu but the selection was small. The starters mains were ok but the desert was delicious
M. G.
My experience was wonderful ... Really tasty food!!! The view is Perfect, amazing Staffs, they are very friendly... I gonna come back

We had a table booked for 7.15 on a Saturday evening. Helen who looked after us when we arrived was very professional and friendly.
The waiter was equally as good any question we asked he was able to answer.
Had a lovely meal and evening.
Thank you.

Nothing special. Bad and slow waiter service, dishes are small portion, pricey. If you're looking for a good view there are plenty restaurants by the river.

Delicious food but slow service (can't hurry good food?) and very small portions. Would still go again, but wouldn't hold back on eating lunch!

Went for my birthday, where I was provided with great service and good food. A little pricey, but that is because of location and views which are pretty amazing.

Lovely view and food ! Had an amazing time with my family.
Our waitress was probably new and a bit timid.
I. F.
Honestly this place is so underrated. The quality of food you get for the price, in my opinion, is fantastic. I seriously suggest the tomato and goats curd starter as it was rammed with flavour. I'm going back soon!
C. O.
Lovely place. Views are incredible, the food is great and the staff are charming and attentive without being intrusive. Recommended.

Loved this place..food fine and views amazing
j. p.
Big portions, reasonable prices
J. S.
Pros: Good food for good price, nice "T&G" cocktail
Cons: Terrible service - waited 1 hour to be served first course, another hour for second and had to keep asking about desert which was not served with any cutlery
High wine prices, house wine is terrible so the wines you want are over £35
V. H. S.
Great venue, really! Amazing views. Service was good too. Food was good but sizes a bit small. Will go back
L. D.
Strongly recommend local French restaurant with a fantastic view of Tower Bridge, the City and Canary Wharf. The food is excellent and the staff are amazing.

(Translated) Along the Thames, this is the best restaurant with a view of Tower Bridge and Tower of London. The night view is beautiful, but the summer is bright until late, so it might be more beautiful in winter. The store's older brother was surprised to find a handsome guy.

(Translated) Fad Blueprint Café offers a beautiful view of the Thames - at least in the sunshine. The service is completely fine, looks pretty upscale. Therefore, I do not recommend to go in with flip-flops swimming trunks but the local conditions accordingly.
