I had a wonderful time yesterday trying on bridal dresses. The manager was wonderful and very helpful. I was looking at bridal sizes of 22/24 and there were a lot more choices than usual bridal stores as well as there being so many unique styles. Such an Amazing experience. P.s love the TikToks!!!

My wedding would not have been the same without FairyGothMother and their services. I flew into London from Germany to check out dresses after finding a favorite online. The try-on experience was wonderful, I usually don't like them as I am not very body confident but I shouldn't have worried about that. The experience was wonderful, I felt great and I ended up not choosing my online favorite but flew home with a different, yet wonderful, choice. I cannot praise them enough. If you're in the market for a dress, please go ahead and make an appointment if you're in the area. It is absolutely worth it!

As a big 'Say yes to the dress' fan I'd really been looking forward to dress shopping for my own wedding. But after my first visits to some common bridal shops, I really didn't like the overly sentimental and girlish experience at all. I'm so glad I discovered FairyGothMother when I was in the area for a holiday! From the moment I set foot in your studio/shop I felt at ease. The tea length style dresses suited my taste perfectly and it was really lovely to have such a private experience.

I had a truly wonderful experience with Emma at FairyGothMother. I came into the shop by myself as a nervous, very self-conscious bride and Emma put me right at ease. She let me try on whatever caught my eye and suggested a few other pieces I wouldn't have normally chosen. Not once did I feel rushed or judged for my style choices. To anyone looking for a wedding dress, bridesmaids dresses, or just something a bit different (some of the dresses come with pockets!), I cannot recommend FairyGothMother enough. Emma and Sam are all about making you *feel* good. And if you feel good, you look good too!! Thank you so much ladies for giving me the most fun, comfy, swishy dress ever. I was a bit worried my experience of wedding dress shopping would be like an episode of "mean girls" but Emma couldn't have been farther from the stereotype. She was so genuine, understanding and knowledgeable and made the whole experience lovely. Visited earlier this month to look for a wedding dress. Having been looking at the website for a year plus I knew they would have the dress for me. I didn't expect to come home with the dress I did but I am super excited. Ruth was fantastic getting me in and out of the dresses. All of the staff I encountered were a joy and put my mind at rest that all alterations would be carried out well. They are experts in their field! The choice of dresses is the best anywhere in the city if you are after something short / retro / a little bit different. We weren't rushed at all and had a wonderful morning picking out dresses and playing dress up. Can't wait to wear my dress!!!

If you're looking for a dress that's a little different, look no further. They have the most beautiful selection of special dresses. Plenty of sequins, cool colours, floral patterns, tea length dresses, I could have chosen three or four dresses from there! Emma and the team are so helpful and chilled, I'm so glad I came here to pick my final final dress!

Fairy Gothmother was exactly what I wanted from a bridal boutique. Emma was absolutely lovely and made the whole process so easy. She is chilled out, relaxed and very knowledgeable. Fairy Gothmother was the only bridal shop I went to in the end as I was so impressed with their service and their fantastic selection of shorter wedding dresses. Everytime we visited Emma was so helpful - I can't recommend them enough!

Went with a friend to buy her wedding dress, what can I say they were lovely in there and the dresses are so pretty and unique, not your average dress very vintage, absolutely stunning, I'm sure she would agree with me that she found the perfect dress for her big day (actually jealous). Nice and refreshing to visit somewhere with amazing dresses and nice helpful staff - the same can no be said for some of the other dress shops we visited!

I had such a great exerience bying my wedding dress from FairyGothMother. They have a great selection of dresses, and several different sample sizes to try on. Emma was so helpful in guiding me though it all, and giving great advice on what would suit my bodytype.

This tiny London shop has a whole bridal floor downstairs full of faux fifties weddings dresses. I'd been looking for something vintage style but most bridal shops I visited had only a few shorter styles. This shop has loads! The staff are great, laid back and not at all pushy. I was allowed to take pictures of each dress I tried to show my Mum which really helped. Other shops hadn't let me do this. Overall I preferred the experience to the posher pretentious shops. Staff couldn't do enough for me. Would be prefect if the changing rooms were a bit bigger! I ordered a strippy Mooshki dress and a custom Fairy gothmother petticoat which came in the time promised and the alterations were done quickly as I needed to fly out with the dress at short notice. If a short retro dress with a petticoat is your thing try this shop.

Had a great experience at FairyGothMother. Very casual and easy appointment, I didn’t feel pressured or rushed at all and Emma was very knowledgeable and patient. I found some very good options in a variety of styles and budget but unfortunately not ‘the dress’. The store seems to be split between the tea length style dresses and full length but slightly more usual dresses. I was there for the shorter style myself and there certainly had a better selection than any of the stores I’d visited previously. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for something a bit different! Thank you for the wonderful experience
