Loved everything about this store. It was my first ever visit to a bridal shop and I successfully bought my wedding dress here to! May 2021 - My first ever visit to a bridal store. The lady at the front desk was very welcoming, offering us a seat and a drink as soon as I (and my two bridesmaids) arrived. Soon after, Laura (I think it was Laura) sat us down and went through the whole process with us, covering budget, what I was after and what I really did not want (for me, long sleeves was a must). I started by choosing three dresses that I liked, and after I tried each on Laura went to find others based on my feedback on these dresses. She was super friendly, made me feel comfortable and helped me see each dress in a different perspective which I really appreciated. She really went above and beyond to help me find my perfect dress, and I did in the end! I actually went in saying I wanted a very simple, plain a-line dress and came out with a lace mermaid dress. November 2021 - Picked up my dress!! The team at Love Bridal told me when I chose my dress that it was roughly 6 months for the designer to make and ship my dress. They gave me updates via email whenever they received any information from the designer. Again - I was happy to see Laura again! A friendly face makes all the difference. I still loved my dress 6 months later, and it was great to try it on in my actual size. Mews Alterations (March 2022) - I went for my first dress alteration today and the seamstress - I feel terrible as I did not get her name - was amazing. I spent roughly 1 hour with her as I had lost weight and needed quite a bit taken in. She was thorough and asked me how I felt at every step. I was covered in pins at the end but I was so happy with how it looked. Again, I felt like I left my dress in the best hands. Can't wait to pick it up at my final dress fitting in two weeks. Thank you Love Bridal, you guys made my whole dress trying/buying experience smooth, stress-free and actually - a lot of fun!

My experience at Love Bridal was amazing! I arrived a little earlier than expected and they were super accommodating and hospitable and I was blown away by the bridal gowns they had. I was a little anxious at first, but Laura was great! She mad me feel really comfortable and was really helpful… so much so that I said YES to the dress!!!

This was my first time shopping for a dress and couldnt have asked for a better experience. I was a little nervous at first but felt at ease after speaking to my stylist. They have an amazing range of dresses which made it very difficult to choose but I was given time to choose a few dresses myself along with some suggestions. My family were not able to join and they allowed me to video call during my appointment which I was so grateful for. I came very close to saying yes to the dress but wasnt quite ready to commit yet. My stylist was not at all pushy and was more than happy for me to take some time to have a think and call/email if I wanted to come back and try the dress on again. Looking forward to returning!

I had my first visit to Love Bridal in March 2019 to try on dresses for my 2020 wedding, I came back for a second time with my Mum in June 2019 and chose THE dress. I had been to a few other shops but this was the only one I returned to, partly due to the selection of amazing dresses, but also the faultless customer service from Max, who made me feel so comfortable with the whole experience. Fast forward to March 2020 and I had to cancel my wedding due to covid, I went to the shop and picked up my dress just in case I could get married at short notice and wouldn't be able to get back to collect it. Max and her team were so lovely and again I was so happy I chose Love Bridal as they really do care about their Brides. I rescheduled my wedding to 2021 and Max called me to check if there was anything they could help me with - I wanted to make some changes to my dress that involved the team liaising with the dress designer and having these shipped to me (as I no longer live near the shop) They've been so helpful and kind throughout all the stress of the last year, that I want to recommend them to everyone I know! They really do believe in making every bride (no matter shape or size) feel their most beautiful on their big day, and their customer service doesn't end when you leave the shop with your dress. So glad I found this place! Max and the seamstress team were amazing. I’m not a girly girl and the dresses I initially picked myself looked rubbish on me. Within 30mins Max picked some great options for me which I would NEVER have chosen myself and despite having a wobble after buying it, it was perfect and I’ve had so many comments from the photos. Whilst I never normally leave a review (out of sheer laziness) after the experience I had at love bridal I just had to. Love Bridal and my dress consultant Max totally made the experience. They went over the top to be helpful and made sure there wasn’t a doubt in my mind that I was buying THE dress. This was my fifth attempt at buying the dress and even if I walked away empty handed I would still be leaving a five star review. Love Bridal has been the most positive experience I have had shopping for the dress! As soon as you step in the atmosphere is relaxed and everyone is really friendly. Not once did I feel any pressure to buy a dress and they even have the more expensive dresses to one side incase they are out of your budget, which is really thoughtful compared to how some other shops do it. They really listen to you and the styles you like, and after trying on some that I picked out, the dress I actually bought was one that was picked out by the lovely Kelly. This was the first shop I visited and what a pleasant experience! I came in with my mum and was greeted right away with smiles. Such a great experience from start to finish. My Mum and I had tried a few different shops, and had really found them to be a "conveyor belt" experience - one of many brides with staff who were either feigning interest or pretty bored by the appointments. Love Bridal was completely different. All the staff were relaxed, warm and personal. They were so great with my Mum, who had travelled from the Midlands for the appointment. She's a tough critic! I am absolutely over the moon with my dress and can't wait for the big day. I have also bought all my accessories through the store, and they couldn't be more accommodating. So pleased that we went with a lovely independent store who genuinely care about their brides. Wholeheartedly recommend!

Found the perfect wedding dress here! The prices are very reasonable and the quality of the dresses and variety are great. Laura was very patient helping me pick my wedding dress. She was very knowledgeable with fabrics and styles which gave me confidence and she never rushed me or tried to push me into buying a dress that wasn't right for me although I visited the boutique 3 times before buying a dress! When shopping for my wedding dress, Love Bridal was our first boutique. I was a very nervous shopper: a size 16 at the time, I thought I was going to look hideous in everything. The ladies read my fears and turned the appointment into an amazing and confidence boosting experience. I neither felt rushed nor pressured into ordering a dress. I also appreciated them looking after (my non-English speaking) mother. My fiancé and I had to move the wedding forward due to various reasons and I ended up buying a sample gown in a different shop. However, it was the first model I had tried on at Love Bridal - a stunning Lou Lou gown. I did go back to buy a matching bolero, and again, the service was impeccable. These ladies have an eye for accessories & style and a knack for customer service.

I had already been to a few other shops in London and was starting to feel a bit daunted by the whole experience - not least the prices of dresses - and that maybe buying a "wedding" dress was not for me. Thanks to the brilliant eye of Laura, an Eternity Bridal dress I wouldn't even have considered trying on turned out to be the dress for me. Love Bridal's after care in terms of accessories, fittings and alterations was similarly fantastic and made the whole process pain free. I felt so glamorous and comfortable in my dress on the day - and was able to shake some pretty enthusiastic moves on the dance floor - and it had big thumbs up from all the guests, particularly the groom and my three year old son! This is wedding dress shopping as it should be - I would thoroughly recommend Love Bridal to any bride to be.

I was nervous going into my first dress shop but Max made me feel very comfortable. She gave me space to choose the first three dresses, which I tried on and then waited to hear my thoughts on each of them. Based on that, she found other dresses within the price range I had given and eventually my dress. My dress is actually cheaper than the original dresses I had picked out so there is no pressure to buy anything too expensive. I didn't buy the dress on that visit - I came back with my bridesmaids a few weeks later and again there was no pressure to buy it before I was ready. Great shop, great staff.

Best experience ever! At first, I was so incredibly nervous as I'd been to 2 other places in London and my mum is so hard to please. My mum left here yesterday practically inviting the girl that looked after us to the wedding! So lucky that a designer was there for the day who had come especially and I'm so excited that I get to wear one of her dresses that she's tweaking to suit me and my style. The girls here are obviously in love with what they do and Max who looked after me couldn't have been more in tune with what i wanted and more importantly, what I needed for my shape. She was such fun and so honest, which was refreshing after the other appointments that told me I looked great in everything. This shop is a must-go to anyone serious about the fit of their dress, but a heads-up that it's more about styling you, than playing in lots of dresses. I went to Love bridal in Crystal palace and fell in love with a dress I never in a million years expected to love and want! It's a Stella York dress called Juno! It's being discontinued next year so they sold it to me for half price!! £650 for my dress!!! I'm chuffed!!!!!!! On cloud 9 and wanted to share! I visited Love Bridal yesterday and was amazed by the attention and hospitality that the manager showed everyone in the shop. She gave great advice, was truthful (important when wedding dress shopping) and was really knowledgeable about all things bridal! As a nervous mum of an equally nervous daughter, we have experienced a wide range of wedding dress shops and very differing levels of personal service - and believe me, when I say we have been to several in London and Home Counties we most certainly have! Some places were welcoming but did not have the dress for my daughter. Others were glum with poor dress selections and only a half hour fitting. Lovebridal honestly answered all our prayers and for such an important day (apart from the impending wedding of course!) we felt so relaxed and immediately put at ease by Max and Laura, a wonderfully different double act who hit every button that others tried but have failed. This new shop really is in all sense of the words, a boutique. Lovely interiors (and believe me as I am an interior designer), a huge smile at the door, two hour appointments (so rare these days in a world of speed and rush), nibbles and bubbly on tap (the last place we went to would not even give me a glass of water on request - amazingly poor standards) and a brilliant range of dresses at super prices. Seeing my daughter emerge from behind the curtains (and as I suggested, I have waited for that lovely moment for so long when we both know the right dress has found its owner) and finally, last week, it happened! Thank you LoveBridal for making my daughter happy, put a beaming smile on my face, keep dad happy (as the prices were great) and making what we thought would be just another dress fitting into a wonderfully happy experience in this charming part of south London! Wish I could do it all again! I have loved every second of my experience with this boutique. The team there are funny, experienced, non-pushy, quirky and great with curves. Both myself and my sister have now bought our english gowns from this store and both of us have had great experiences. Don't be put off by the no photos rule, they have good reasons for it and personally if that's all you are concerned with, then you are not going for the right reasons. Killjoys for sure, as these girls couldn't be more helpful. I loaned in 3 dresses that they didn't have at the time, I dramatically changed details with my chosen gown (the seamstress is AMMMMAAAZZZIIINGG) and she also altered my other gowns. Take your tissues too, the dresses are tear-making!

By far the best service & best dresses! We passed by on a Saturday when it was very busy as was going to a wedding at the Greek Church a few doors along. Didn't expect too much conversation as there were so many people, but the atmosphere was catching. So much fun and the girl on the front desk was so welcoming and turns out she was the owner. She booked me an appointment with her the following week. I'm a girl with curves and a few shops we'd been to were so fuddy duddy and made me feel trussed like a turkey, the lady remembered me and made me feel like a size 8 (even though i'm closer to a 14). She chose nearly all of the dresses for me to suit my style of wedding (on a Cyprus beach) and I ended up falling for one of her wild cards that made me feel a million dollars. Think my mum is her new bestie now too! Was really magical, we all cried happy tears and I can't thank her enough for how I now feel. Can't wait until next year now when it arrives. Even though my sister found her dress in the store due to the help of Laura (who I recommend immensely), the customer service my family and I received was rather offensive. When we walked into the store, we were met with a rather rude remark from an employee in which she stated to my sister “I hope you guys are demure and quiet”, as though we were a burden. It was also offensive since I am a black women, and it was though as she stereotyped us to be loud, and aggressive- she did not even welcome us yet!! However, when other customers walked in, I could see the change in her tone and character. Secondly, when they told us we could not take pictures of the dresses, they kept eyeing us as though we were going to do something. This attitude nearly ruined our experience, however, Laura’s bright and professional attitude quickly turned things around. Thank you Laura for your services, and hope your employees learn a thing or two from you!!

I kept meaning to write one sooner, but wanted to see the whole experience with this shop through from start to finish, just to be sure everything went well. I bought my dress last February and was getting married abroad, so wanted something light, not too sparkly and I know I can be very picky, so did not hold out too much hope for which ever Consultant got me! I had a friend with me and my baby and had gone to another appointment that morning, where as we had walked in, they instantly dismissed my child and said 'just keep an eye on her, we don't want her need our dresses' and then grunted through the entire appointment. Max instantly welcomed us to her boutique where the welcome was warm, well meaning and natural. The whole team in fact made sure they said hello even though they were busy with brides, but 2 hours later, Max was holding the baby and I was ordering my dress, I felt like I was leaving friends by the time we left. Now married, I can honestly say that it was a pleasure from start to finish and the little touches that they think of make it all the more pleasurable. Don't waste your time with poor customer service, something will go wrong in the end - I trusted this shop and got the service you should get when spending this sort of money and even popping in with my pictures to show them afterwards was a cup of tea and biscuits waiting for me. A real gem!
