I was fortunate enough to drive a wedding party from East Grinstead to the Meridian Grand. What an experience! I waited patiently in the car park. I got a phone call and was invited in. I was made to feel very welcome and enjoyed being part of their wedding! The staff from Ezra Events were incredible. They did not stop being professional and attentive. Very well done to all!

Honestly couldn't have asked for a better place to have our wedding/reception. Our wedding got postponed 3 times due to covid and the staff there were extremely helpful in changing the dates. Due to covid restrictions we had an amazing drive in wedding. A big shout out to Monir at Meridian Grand. He helped with everything for our big day. His eye for detail is just amazing. What can I say about the Meridian grand ... This is now the second time I've attended a wedding here and I am always impressed. It's very easy to get to once you get off the a406 you cannot miss it. Parking is never an issue here. The decor is just exquisite, entrance is sublime there is a wonderful feeling here. The grand hall below is just so divine the floral decor to the high ceilings and carpeting. I dislike the pink aura always as I prefer light but I guess that's to each others tastes. The space in the hall makes all the difference. You have to come and feel the luxury yourself here.

Exceptional wedding venue with large car parking spaces and spacious lobby area before entering the main hall. There are separate spaces for prayers, groom and bridal rooms that have a secret sliding door viewing platform down to the main hall. In house catering was served how it should be, with breaks between starters and mains rather than other caterers who give everything altogether.

God did so much for us!!! This is a place I WILL RECOMMEND TO ALL!!! We were lucky to have met two incredible and honest ladies who helped from beginning to the end. This is a great venue space, particularly excellent for hosting wedding receptions. The staff are friendly, they provide catering and security to all events taking place. In addition to this, there is a bar that serves a variety of drinks to suit each venue, as well as a big car park onsite to facilitate to guests attending. Definitely a recommended venue space.

I attended a wedding this weekend, venue was as beautiful as ever - always is! The first thing I noticed at the table was the dirty glasses - wasn’t great. It wasn’t just one glass either. I spoke to the waiter who rectified but other dirty glasses which didn’t impress me. Being from just a prestige venue I didn’t expect that. Food was good but I had the worst stomach ache after - not sure what happened there. Now I will say this, I’ve attended weddings in the past and they have ALWAYS been amazing from venue, cleanliness to the food 👌🏽. I’m not sure what went wrong this time but felt it was important that this doesn’t happen again for anyone… not just me as a guest!

The most PHENOMENAL venue to date…Where do I being with the most epic experience we received from the Meridian Grand. A magical venue celebrating your wedding with personal touches is what you receive when it comes to the Meridan Grand. Each moment was spectacular, from the venue, decor, catering , productions lights, the extra features of sparkles and Fog mist floors, gold floor ect and ultimately my favourite? the staff. There are separate spaces for prayers, groom and bridal suites that have a secret sliding balcony door viewing platform down to the main hall. A DREAM OR WHAT RIGHT !!!!! A personal thank you to our events coordinator Tanhid, he was an absolute legend. He listens to each detail that we wanted and made it even better when it came to the final day. He truly gave us the FAIRYTALE EXPERIENCE. When we walked into the venue it was truly the WOW Factor he promised. Everything couldn’t have been more perfect than what he done for us all. 4th December 2021 was a night to remember, the memories that we have been able to create, was all DOWN to You Tanhid. We had booked this venue for my sister's Nikah (Wedding) ceremony and our experience has been exceptionally good from start to finish. The décor was awesome, the facilities and location were of a very high standard and the parking facilities more than adequate However the silver lining in the experience was the personal events management aspect of the Meridian Grand, which was truly exemplary and well and truly exceeded our expectations. We were hand-held by Fahmina, who was our designated Events manager who helped us co-ordinate and manage preparations down to a tee! Her work ethic and discipline in meticulously planning and diligently following up on key details made the difference to making our wedding experience seamless! Everything went down as planned on the day and there were no hiccups! Strongly recommend this venue and would give it 10 stars if I could!

After considering several venues to host my sister’s wedding in June 2019, it did not take us long after visiting Meridian Grand to realise its true potential in meeting our expectations and creative aspirations for the wedding. From the outset Nikkita the MD of Meridian Grand and her close-knit team made us feel extremely welcome and introduced us to an array of services they offer in house which included all the main essentials; various suites, catering, décor, lighting, sounds etc. It is distressingly common in the wedding industry to find “yes but” suppliers, yet Meridian Grand team very much fall in the rare “yes and” camp and only those people organising events and weddings would realise the importance of finding a supplier who really takes to one’s vision and pulls out all the stops to ensure all expectations are met. We chose Midnight Gardens (a subsidiary of Meridian Grand), to provide our wedding décor. Munir the Creative Director is a rare visionary, who surpassed all our expectations when designing the wedding stage and all the venue décor. As ever their “yes and” attitude allowed my sisters dream of an enchanted wedding theme come to fruition. The décor was complimented by the awe-inspiring lighting provided by Creative Design Solutions (a partner of Meridian Grand). Every single one of our guests were wowed by the décor and set up throughout the venue. It genuinely felt like entering a magical and enchanting space. The catering for our wedding was provided by Meridian Grand, and although we had a very ambitious and challenging multi-course menu, it was delivered faultlessly. Om the executive chef and Gillani the service manager, were incredibly hands-on in helping us design a menu fit for a regal banquet! It is important for me to note that there are items on our menu like the Lamb Shatkora, Rupchanda and Shasnee Zamir, that had never been provided by Meridian Grand before, but they were very happy to source the ingredients and utilised their inhouse Bangladeshi chefs to put together authentic and delightful dishes. We also wanted the bride and grooms first meal together to be a Whole Lamb Mandi (a traditional dish originating from Yemen, cooked in a pit underground), to our surprise Meridian Grand were thrilled to offer us this in house too! And gosh it was as authentic as you could ever imagine it! Our guests were truly astounded by the food service which could rival any fine dining establishment and the taste of every dish was commended by all; the chefs are undeniably world class – its inconceivable how they manage to provide such faultless service to over 1000 guests in one go! From the moment I made the booking, we had constant and very helpful communication about every aspect of the wedding. On the actual day the manpower put out by Meridian Grand was above and beyond any of our expectations. We had members of staff at our every beck and call throughout the day – parking attendants, security guards, cloak room attendants, hostesses, waiters and floor managers. On top of the front line team we had Jyoti providing an all round event management and bridging the gap between us and the army of staff on the floor, she was truly an angel throughout the event and not only ensured every aspect of the wedding was going according to plan, she personally took care of the bride and her entourage. I am sorry for writing a blog style review, but I really felt for all future clients considering Meridian Grand that they should know how immaculately their events will be managed if they were to choose this truly extraordinary venue with its remarkable people. We thank Nikkita from the bottom of our hearts for looking after us so well and we cannot ever think of hosting a family event anywhere else!

I had my wedding at Meridian Grand last week and what a magical experience it was. We chose to hold our wedding at Meridian because of its impressive décor as no other venue could compare. The entrance and hall really captivated us and we knew we had to have our wedding there. We also chose to go with Meridians own décor company and catering and what a great decision it was. Both sides of the family could not stop praising at how stunning the hall looked on the day. The gorgeous floral centre pieces, the stage and its backdrop, the lit candles, the ambiance it created, it all complimented each other so beautifully, we were truly in awe. I also have to mention how absolutely amazing the food tasted. Every dish served was made perfectly, exactly as we wanted. Meridian listened to the changes we requested and made it happen for us. It could not have been any better! The dessert was also real show stopper, everyone’s phone came out!! For my family, It was by far the best wedding they’ve been to (their words) 😊 All of this would not have happened, If it was not for Tanhid. We want to thank him for going above and beyond for making our day so memorable. His professionalism in leading up to the wedding, taking care of all the details helped the day run so smoothly for us. He took all the stress of the day on his shoulders and we had absolutely nothing to worry about. Even my family were praising him for his hospitality and his kindness towards them on the day. I also want to thank the other members of the team, including Soni and Pellin for making such an important occasion run so smoothly for me, both being so lovely and attentive towards me, as the small details really mattered and I am thankful to them.

We held our brothers wedding here (8th Oct), this was our 6th family wedding we have organised and our first at MG This is my first ever online review, for anything, and on any platform!!! I had to write this review, as the MG team who organised our event were absolutely BRILLIANT!!! It is impossible for the wider family not to find fault with an event, (and they did, there were some small remarks re venue), however our entire family and our close friends all remarked how friendly, supportive, and engaging the MG team were. Tanhid, Mesut and Soneya supported us throughout our event, from prior arrival to departure, they anticipated our needs, guided us throughout event, stepped in for us when guests where being difficult and we couldn’t say anything. Overall, they just kept the event running smoothly! The one thing I wished we did, which they kept telling us to do, was to sit and eat as the food was FANTASTIC!!! Mixed review - I'll share the good and not so great. The customer service of this venue needs significant improvement. Planning and organising a wedding in itself is stressful and then to deal with a venue who add to that, is something that you donot need. We have a catalogue of issues: 1. From lack of support - not answering and returning calls and emails for days on end. 2. Trying to con us into paying extra for food that is in the menu and was provided on testing day. 3. Due to some of our guests being covid positive and cancelling a whole week prior, they wouldn't allow us to reduce numbers. Good food, ALL our guests loved it and there was plenty. The service and staff on the day were very helpful and considerate.

Large events venue with a large car park. They've started using their own decor and catering and I must say the forest-themed decor was stunning. The food was excellent too. Throughout the wedding the venue manager was proactive and in hand to ensure the schedule was running on time. They have a music system to play background music, however, if you have speeches or an emcee and live performances you'll need to hire your own AV services.

Absolutely stunning venue. Took me several hours to get here but it was well worth the trip. It was a family wedding. Parking was really easy and there were more than enough spaces. There is a large foyer before you enter the main banqueting suite. You can get drinks here and have a chat before going into the suite. What a suite it is. Stunning chandeliers and decorations. The service was impeccable. Recommend this venue whole heartedly. Fantastic music and great atmosphere. Cannot fault it in any way amazing.

Very nice venue, great decor and facilities. Excellent venue for your big day, makes it extra special. Only criticism is the lighting which looks great but doesn't help with photos. Colouring and effects of lighting which look great mean photos don't turn out great. Probably fine for professional photographer with colour filters and who will edit photos after but camera phone pics end up with an odd colouring which doesn't do them justice.

Last night ( 03/10/2020 ) went to this venue where my wife and I got married 3 years previously, was informed that the venue was serving food like a restaurant, we chose the taster 5 course meal, we informed staff that my wife and child have a peanut allergy. Firstly I’d like to say the food was tasty, filling and looked fabulous!! Staff were attentive polite and made us feel at home, they were well aware of my wife and child’s allergy, and kept checking to make sure we were ok with all the food .... full marks to the whole crew there !!! Impressive and yes we will be going again!! Thankyou for making our evening a great one 👍

The best venue for weddings and parties. Amazing balcony with gates on either side, amazing sized hall, and the worlds most amazing lighting system controlled by tow computers. Two stairways, as well as mini balcony on the inside giving an amazing view in the main hall. There are 2 medium sized halls, but the partition can be removed making it massive.

I booked this venue for my wedding in October 2019, it was the first venue we had looked at and we fell in love with it straight away. The venue itself is beautiful and so spacious which is exactly what we needed for our 600 guests. From the first meeting up until to the very end of our wedding day the service and communication was amazing. They ensured that every detail was planned to perfection. The decor was also done in house by midnight gardens; Monir who was in charge of this came up with some amazing ideas and executed it so well we were lost for words when we saw the venue set up. We also booked the in house caterers and we were not disappointed in any way! We chose punjabi cuisine and the food was Delicious with a nice modern twist. All in all our experience at booking the meridian grand was the best decision we made. Thanks to Nikkita and Risha for making sure every moment went on time and perfectly.

It's a nice banqueting hall but overpriced. Plenty of parking. They say they are appearing to the upper market...well maybe they should invest in good quality chairs. Uncomfortable and flimsy. They don't let anyone in the hall till 7.45pm even though guest arrival on wedding card says 7pm. They make guess stand in the foyer with only 6 chairs around. Definitely need to improve the service.

We booked Merdian Grand for our wedding as it's one of the most beautiful venues in town. My dream wedding brought to reality by meridian grand. That is the best way to sum up my wedding. Before I had even met my husband, I knew that when the time came to get married , it has to be at meridian grand. When I went for my initial appointment everyone made me and family feel welcomed and gave me all the information I needed. From the decor by Midnight garden events to the food cooked by their in house caterers everything was perfect and my guests were in orr of the decor and couldn’t compliment the food enough. I want to give a special thank you to Shiv who was there for me every step of the way from my bridezilla moments to getting starters sent to my dressing room as he knew I wouldn’t get time to eat. You are a true asset to Meridian Grand. I want to also thank Mounir for spending time with me to capture my vision of what I want my wedding decor to be. We booked the meridian grand for my brothers wedding which took place on 9th April 2018. I cannot fault it one bit. Apart from the amazing venue the event managers were fantastic they went high and above for us. Risha was one of them she was amazing I am not sure on the other lady but she was also amazing she helped the my sister in law the bride so much with her outfit and also her hair was pulling she went out of her way to sort it out for her. I didn’t even expect this much this lady Also helped my sister in law with her heavy outfit when she went for the photo shoot. Even going out their way to ask the bride and groom if they would like a drink through out the event. I cannot thank them enough. All our guests loved the venue it was truly beautiful. Finding it can be a problem, even though it looks over the A406, so make sure you type address with Meridian Grand and not just the post code and you won't have a problem, plenty of parking and once inside the place is grand, nice entrance / waiting area, they have plenty of venues of different sizes, very well laid out and the staff were excellent, a very enjoyable night.

I was brideZilla throughout the process, however my event planner Shiv was calm and always reassured me that everything will go smoothly and it did! On the day of the wedding they catered to me non stop!
