We recently held an event at Madame Tussauds in London and am pleased to say that the experience was first class in every aspect. The events team were professional and very efficient, the catering was excellent and venue was perfect for our event.
We chose to host the event in the new Star Wars exhibit and it was an ideal location for the 50 guests we invited. Most were big fans of the franchise and we received some great feedback about the space and everyone enjoyed getting to interact with the characters.
The event flowed seamlessly even with a very tight turnaround time thanks in large part to the Merlin events team who extremely helpful and accommodating.
I would certainly recommend this to anyone thinking of putting on an event and is looking for something just a little different.

We held our Company Ball at Madame Tussauds on Saturday night. It cannot fail to wow people - amazing experience from start to finish.
It was a pleasure working with Becky, our Events Co-ordinator, who was a huge help the whole way through. Food by Dish were very helpful and the food was lovely.
The staff on the evening were very attentive, professional and efficient, the band E2 were outstanding and got everybody dancing. All our staff said it was the best night they'd ever had so to my mind thats a big tick for an event!

Recently held an event at Madame Tussauds for a Hall of Fame style awards evening. From start to finish, the team at MT were extremely helpful and provided ongoing support in all aspects of the event's planning and production.
The venue was flexible to suit our needs and the team were highly accommodating of all our requests. I'd certainly look to go back for next year's event.
Feedback from the night has been brilliant, and I would highly recommend it as a superb venue.

I held an event at Madame Tussauds, London recently. Everything from the planning process through to the event management on the night was exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble for the event management team and the catering team. The food was lovely and the service was impeccable. The feedback from our guests was extremely positive as well. Madame Tussauds is a great venue for a function and this, coupled with the amazing service you receive from the events and catering teams makes for a stress-free and highly enjoyable occasion. Myself and 2 colleagues arranged a conference party for 500 people at the London Aquarium with the help of Merlin Events. We are junior doctors and not events organisers so had no experience with anything like this previously.
Merlin were brilliant, they took all of the stress out of organising something like this. The venue was amazing and everyone had a great time (including us as we left the running of the night to the excellent onsite staff). The bar staff were great - no queuing up at the bar (they had multiple open) and music good. Compared to prices of other London venues that we were quoted they were also great value (and a much better venue).
I would definitely hold an event at the aquarium with the support of Merlin if we did this again.

We had a work event with 90 people held in the Riverside rooms. I had never organsied an event of this size so the event manager was extremely helpful on the lead up to the event. On the day, all the staff, especially the event manager made the event run seemlessly. I had great feedback from everyone that attended. The food was delicious and the view of the Thames and Houses of Parliament made it feel special. We would definitely use this venue again.

I am writing from Perfetti Van Melle we had our Christmas Conference and it was amazing at the Aquarium! was breathtaking, the staff were friendly and the underwater show was amazing! the food was also delicious, all the staff loved this venue, was so unique and entertaining, you had something new to look at around every corner! thank you for all that made this night so great for me and all the team! We had a great event at Madame Tussauds in July. It was for 150 people and every one had so much fun!
The team were really fantastic to work with, everything seemed really easy in the run up to the event. There were quite often moments where i said i wanted this or that and they just went off and organised it without any more input from me which was a dream!! For example, I said that i wanted a photobooth and found a supplier. I then put the supplier in touch with the events team at Madame Tussauds and they organised everything else. They talked through the set up with them and arranged arrival times - i didn't have to do anything else. Normally i'm quite often the middle person going from the venue to the supplier and vice versa so this was really great!!
They ran a great event on the night as well, staying calm when I was worrying about something going wrong. They were really positive and flexible and this allowed me to calm down! They were really attentive and always actioned anything really quickly
They seemed to really care about us and wanted to ensure that everyone had a good time, that seemed to be their main priority!
Overall, such a good event. I think the guests will remember it for a long time to come and i wouldn't think twice about working with Madame Tussauds again!!

I wanted to send a massive thank you to Samantha Burton and team who hosted our European Xmas party on the 17th December 2015 for c350 employees.
From the initial viewing to the final close, Samantha made sure that every detail was covered, showed great knowledgeable of the venue and responded to all of our challenges even whist the event was in motion.
The venue looked amazing and we received the highest praise from our employees on a most enjoyable and fun evening.
Needless to say there were a lot of photos taken which will be fondly reviewed in due course after the sore heads dampen..

After the first place we hired let us down by cancelling our event just 7 days before it was due to take place, we urgently needed a venue to host around 250 international VIP customers at a world famous London landmark. The type of clientele that had 'seen and done everything' at premium and private, luxurious locations across the world - most of them were high level executives in the entertainment business.
Madame Tussauds stepped up to the plate and took care of every detail including professional and polite staffing, fine food and beverage, scheduling of entertainments and all A/V technical requirements. We were assigned an event manager from the outset, whose guidance and expertise were second to none and made it easy to condense what should have taken several weeks of preparation into just a few working hours. Anything seemed possible and nothing was a problem, even down to flexible pricing options in our favour. It was just like having your own EA on the inside!
With all the interactivity on offer - selfies with the stars and plenty of experiential to break the ice and make everyone feel relaxed - our customers were wowed by the whole experience: Champagne reception, private museum tour and the grand finale in the World Stage area, where food, drinks and stage acts performed. And if our customers were happy then we obviously were too.
We're now glad to have been let down by the first venue we chose as it wouldn't have been as fun, exciting and enjoyable as what Madame Tussauds delivered.
Give them a try - you won't be disappointed.

Overall we had a fabulous evening. We arrived and had our pictures taken chopping each other’s heads off. Then we watching the rats whilst waiting whilst drinking our wine. Then we learnt all about Sweeney Todd and Jack the Ripper in gruesome detail. The actors in each room are so amazing and had everyone listening to their every word. Audience participation was excellent, and you spent just the right amount of time in each room. When you finish the tour the mirror room was very funny. We had the managers thinking they knew the way out when in fact there wasn’t a way out until a staff member opened the door. Very funny. The drop at the end is very scary too. I was prepared for a small drop, but nothing like what actually happens. I don’t mind admitting that I screamed, probably more than once !! We were then in a room for our dinner which was themed. Food service was very slick and there were 50 of us. We finished the evening with a glass of wine and giggling about the whole experience! An excellent group night out for all ages.

Everything from the wax works, the venue, the food, drinks, the staff, and the entire team are one of the best that I have worked with. As an organizer it makes a big difference when you have the full support of a fantastic team.

On 16th May Lloyd Platt & Co held a corporate event at Madame Tussauds, to celebrate winning several awards this year, at the sensational location of Madame Tussauds. The event was attended by many real and breathing celebrities including Radio and Television Presenter Vanessa Feltz and her partner Ben Ofoedu, Good Morning Britain Presenter Dr Hilary Jones, together with his presenter partner Dee, veteran Good Morning Britain Presenter John Stapleton, and his campaigner wife Lynn Folds-Wood, Luciana Berger MP (Liverpool & Wavertree) whose landslide victory during the election has seen her in the headlines ever since, Reporter & Writer Monica Porter who has been constantly in the media spotlight as a result of her two bestselling books, leading charity adviser Shirley Anne Lewis together with her husband Martin Lewis, financial adviser. Also in attendance was Andy Jacobs of Talk Sport Radio and Paul Levrant, celebrity hypnotherapist. Numerous other stars sent their apologies for their non-attendance due to the fact that they were attending either at the Cannes Film Festival, BAFTA celebrations and the like.
Guests were treated to a London Taxi Ride through Madame Tussauds, then cocktails with the stars, followed by a delicious banquet together the Royals through the ages.
There was great amusement as some of the celebrities stood still for a short time, leading guests to believe that they were part of the waxworks, only to start moving to the surprise of all. The event caused many to comment “we previously thought that lawyers could be very dry and boring, we have now totally changed our minds and this was one of the most exciting events that we have ever experienced”.

The Pet-Nup has now been taken up by the American Bar and is being used as a precedent throughout the world.
