J. C.Was here for a talk and it definitely is a grand building. The seats in the auditorium could be a little more comfortable but I guess they don't want to make them too comfortable to keep you awake.
Lots of little nice engineering sculptures scattered around the building.
M. S.One Birdcage Walk, home of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers, is a wonderful venue for conferences and meetings. You are garunteed to be well looked after by the staff and catering is very good. The building is steeped in history and has interesting models and items of engineering dotted about the place. The IMechE also has a large lecture theatre. Being just around the corner from Westminster Station, it is very easy to get to. Highly recommended.

N. E. F.The IMechE is the venue for our annual conference, and occasional meetings. It is a great venue, where the staff could not be more helpful. The location is fantastic and the lecture theatre works well for us. Thank you for looking after us!

P. B.Good place for conferences, talks etc. Very grand interior really makes an impression. Spend a few minutes looking at the excellent models of steam engines on display in glass cases in the corridors.
G. C.It is Institute of Mechanical Engineers' HQ. Nice building and environment, but I always find it is too warm inside. Don't know why they always set the heater so high.
