Theatrical music-focused event that sees a series of different musicians playing varied yet US-inspired blues, jazz, ragtime, etc genres perform on unique stages that have been decorated to reflect the artist. Very affordable drinks as well as snack / bar food. It can feel a little 'themey' but that is the point - an environment designed to visually escape everyday life.

We got the tickets at a discount, which made it better value. The setup is a little strange: there are 4-5 different rooms, all with different bars and cocktails and themes, but ultimately most of the acts played at separate times anyway - so basically the whole crowd moved from room to room en masse. It’s not like we could choose to listen to different music at any point.
It was Mardi Gras night, but it didn’t feel themed to that. I really enjoyed the jazz room, which had Elise Roth, a great saxophonist and a truly brilliant pianist playing. There was a blues-rock band at the end getting the crowd into the swing of things, but it was pretty late by then so we decided to head off. The other bands weren’t to my personal taste, but it seemed like people enjoyed them.
From a covid perspective, you should know that the “covid-safe venue” billing is old advertising and the venue now doesn’t appear to have any covid measures - which, to be fair, the government no longer requires. There were probably 200 people in an enclosed room with no ventilation and almost nobody was wearing a mask, nor were there any checks of temperature or certificates or tests on arrival, so you need to be comfortable with that.

Really great evening, lots of different rooms offering a variety of acts and music.
Each room does slightly vary the cocktails on offer, but there is some limitation in choice for those fussy drinkers.
With regards to food, this seems to change on a regular basis also, so it would be helpful if the website could be kept up to date with what will be on offer to allow people to go and eat prior to arriving if it doesn't suit.
In addition, I think as rooms do change acts, it may be worth putting up a time table for acts as we missed one on Saturday that would have been good to see if we'd know they were playing.
A great idea, well run, but just needs a few tweaks to be even better!

I really like this venue. I guess they are trying to mimc the feel of the underground shows that used to be in the wine cellars under the shard before it was built. It certainly feels like that. Drinks are more expensive than the usual prices but no more than a venue in the west end would be. But you go there to witness the atmosphere and music and that works well

Great night out with the Mrs to enjoy a night full of music from jazz to country.
Although, dinks were expensive, so take your cheque books with you.

Attended an event here on Saturday night. The venue was a bit chilly and there was a long queue for food, but otherwise loved it! The music and atmosphere was great, everyone there was having a great time! The timing of the different performers was very well done, keeping it interesting and varied, moving from room to room.

I'm in love with this place! 5 stages, each with its own specific atmosphere and vibe; bars in most stages, and even a glitter station. I love how the shows on each stage were coordinated so participants could see all of them. Perfect for music lovers, I'll be coming back!

I absolutely loved this night in London. Always a bit wary of booking events like this that might just be more of a money maker than actually a genuine good night but the staff were all so welcoming and friendly, the music rooms were varied and excellent standard (especially the young lady and the pianist in the Jazz room who’s voice was incredible) and all round a really fun night. Would recommend!

Situated under the railway in the arches, five different stages which you can move freely around. Each room has a bar and each rooms artist plays different music. Really quirky, lovely atmosphere. Strongly recommend

I wanted to update this post. The team at One Street Records kindly exchanged our tickets for another date. It was a great event and I’d highly recommend going. Thank you for sorting!

I was very disappointed with the event organisers. On Friday London was in a red weather warning and the advice was to stay home. I was told by One Street Records that I could change tickets with Fever however this has been confirmed there is a strict policy against this. All the train lines were down and it was impossible to get a taxi. Very unfortunate that we couldn’t find a solution for this as I was looking forward to attending.

A hidden gem, had so much fun.The only reason it's not getting 5 stars is due to the lack of covid measures. Considering it's a venue with no ventilation I expected to be asked for a lateral a lateral flow or covid pass, this was disappointing.

Brilliant venue, had a great time last time I visited. Looking forward to their reopening so I can go again. Acts are brilliant and food is fab - can't recommend enough.

What a fantastic show! Set in an amazing themed venue, there are 6 live acts playing Jazz, Country and Western, Blues. It's a totally immersive experience as you drink, dance and wander from one themed stage to another, soaking up a really great vibe. It's best described as part gig/part festival. A must if you love live music!

Everything on arrival is standard to our new normal way of living. Temperature checks, Test and Trace app sign in, and sanitisation. With that comfort out of the way, the night begins in an unassuming bar area where you can order a drink. The cocktails are really good, and are themed to the the rooms, so I would recommend having one in each. From here, you are invited into the first room where the adventure begins with some history of music and how it's influenced culture. This show is fun, but it is also deep in meaning and message. I'm going to spoil anything, but I left with a new appreciation through the story of our guide Tulsa. She is the thread between everything happening in the night, but takes a backstage to the music.
This is an immersive event, taking place in a maze of tunnels, all decked out with the musical theme. There is a moderate amount of participation, but the one room which called for it, was absolutely brilliant. Overall through, sit back and enjoy the live music of the night. as the musicians are very well skilled, full of energy and character. Time flies by as well, with about 15 minutes in each, room you are left wanting more. I could have easily stayed in a few of the rooms for hours, enthralled by the tunes. But this was the charm of the show, you are given enough to want more, but then swept off to another equally great musical space.
Had such an amazing night out, I would go back again!

I didn't what to expect when i booked the tickets but this completely blew ny mind. We had 5 stages and every one of them were so amazing. You can keep moving from one room to the other depending on what king of genre you prefer but would recommend giving every set half an each as they all were amazingly talented. Will definitely go again 🙌🙌

We attended the Lockdown town which was brilliant! They have put in so much work into it and it was really the best outing since lockdown! Highly highly recommend it to everyone. If you are hungry make sure to have food on the first ”bar” stop :)
Just wanted to add from last year. We went back again in 2021 and sadly we didn’t have the same good experience as before. I think the show was much oh better when we had to walk from room to room with the group together. This year they changed and you could just walk between room to room whenever you wanted. I think it is just not the best for us customers and also not nice for the bands as they could be performing to one person and then all of a sudden all the people come into the room. I think the way of doing this was so much better in 2020. We personally liked it more that way.

Excellent music venue with great drinks and a unique atmosphere. With fantastic live music ranging from blues to jazz and regular themed nights.

Absolutely amazing live music venue. 1920's atmosphere, situated in a maze of old train tunnels, 4-5 rooms of live shows in parallel, incredible experience.

Great music, great people, great space. Went with friends after work and ended up having the first proper night out of the year. Didn’t know what to expect, and still don’t really know what we found. An underground adventure of live music exploring numerous eras, styles, moods and continents. All without leaving the arches of SE1. A back-to-back selection of world class musicians offering up everything from velvet clad jazz, jump-up funk to sweaty foot stomping New Orleans brass. A festival feel but with decent food and drink. On a random rainy Thursday in Bankside. We will be back...

Seriously cool venue and performances to match. Lockdown Town Pale Ale was also a nice touch.
Was great to get out again and support the events industry too!!!

Tickets are very expensive and even if the experience is somewhat different, it lacks a lot to be worth the amount of money you spend on the entrance and the drink. It has a minimum of £ 100 of spending, the wines are canned, the cocktails are... I don't know how to explain it hahaha very strange flavours undrinkable in my opinion. A different but not repeatable experience.
A. G.
Loved it. Definitely worth a look.

Not a bad night out but wasted a lot of time in line for food, which turned out to be a waste of money.
Enjoyed the music and location though.
J. H.
Good fun, but limited food options, I would eat before you go
D. M.
Amazing venue, with multiple stages in the arches.
A. P.
Fab venue! Like a mini festival space all held under railway arches. Go for the venue, stay for the music!

Absolutely amazing! Can't recommend this experience enough. The musicians were great, the stages spectacular, and cocktails were delicious - Rollin' Collins especially. A brilliant evening out :)
If you're worried about social distancing this is your place, it's definitely a safe venue and the staff are super helpful.

Excellent quite quirky and nice crowd, food was simple and delicious

Excellent music, food and atmosphere at One Night Records! Great to be doing something social - and COVID secure - in London again! Happy times, and definitely coming back. Thank you for a really fun evening, and all round creative, cultural experience. I've missed this.

Really good fun at lockdown town. Great to enjoy live music again, with good food and drink service. Would thoroughly recommend. Worth also saying that it's spacious and socially distanced so felt safe.

I had high expectations and by the end of the night I can happily say the night exceeded my expectation. Could offer mocktails on the menu, but the venue, singers and music selection was great.
N. F.
Good fun as I my friend managed to get me a complimentary ticket and great for couples or a group thing
A. G.
The musical equivalent of a wine tasting, and to make it even better the drinks and food are themed to the different musical eras as well! Would 100% recommend.

Some real great performances and mood making cocktails, just a shame that 2 elements of the show were missing.
