Reviews of Queen Elizabeth II Centre
C. J. G.
Large event centre near to Westminster Abbey.
The QEII Centre is the largest dedicated conference and exhibition space in central London. Our venue offers world-class facilities for high-profile conferences, conventions, exhibitions and corporate events with a capacity of up to 2,500 and hosting over 400 national and international events a year.
Located opposite Westminster Abbey, the QEII Centre is less than a five minute walk from the Thames, and a two-minute walk from a royal park. With over 6,000 hotel bedrooms in walking distance, this is the perfect location for you and your delegates to truly benefit from holding an event in London.
The Centre is served by exceptional transport links providing easy access to everything the city has to offer, from world-class restaurants and nightlife to shopping and culture. Within an hour’s transfer from five international airports, you will have an effortless journey to the Centre.
The centre hosts events ranging from scientific seminars to world political events entertaining leaders from over one hundred countries.

Really enjoyed my visit for HETT. The centre is nice and modern inside plus staff were friendly. Only gripes were the lunch was a bit disappointing, we had a curry option but they served with potatoes which was weird because it was very saucy so ideally needed rice. Also the projector on floor 6 had a glitch every so often which while not major was a tad distracting once you noticed it. Other than that a great visit
T. X.
Went for a conference. Lovely building great views!! Had an amazing time
E. H.
Good facilities and probably the best views from a toilet window ever!
S. R.
Building is in need of some modernisation as very 70's. But that apart the food at our event was really good. Some great views from the building of London which was a surprise.
T. M.
First time I had attended this venue. Smart part of town, of course. Well run event, stewards extremely attentive - made efforts to learn names of people entering and leaving, a small but notable touch. Especially a chap named Robin who made the entire entry process very slick. Event I attended extremely informative and interesting, my thanks to all who attended and contributed so much.
J. N. S.
Khalistan Referendum 2020 was held about 30K people came here. Very well managed thanks to organising volunteers.
N. A.
Excellent venue , great facilities, friendly staff
D. A.
Come here for the Commonwealth People's Forum. Its great place for conference , located in the center of the town. Have a good accessible facilities for wheelchair user. The Toilets clean and you can see the beautiful view of London from the window :)
A. D.
Stunning views out from floor 3. Good venue but poor access relying on lifts with no general stairs which makes entry slow and crushed. Floor 3 artistic gem by Pelozzi should be in better more public venue.
S. P.
One of my favourite conference venues. Excellent professional staff and in an obviously ideal central location. Also nice little coffee bar in the ground floor area. Would highly recommend.
T. B.
Excellent place for meetings and conferences.
S. J.
Wonderful conference centre.
Beautiful views!
Lovely meeting rooms.
Excellent technology.
Superb food and staff.
Immaculately clean.
S. H.
Bright, specious and clean, lifts make noise.
S. K.
Lovely venue, very clean, professional and very organised. Absolutely great to use if you have a huge event you would like to organise.
L.
Came here for the QCon conference. I was pretty amazed by the hospitality, food and venue! Toilets were modern and clean with luxury hand wash and cream. Conference rooms were spacious. The lifts were a bit slow at times so I think they could do with a lot more so people could get to their sessions in time. Other than that everything was good and location pretty convenient to nearby tube stations.
R. B.
Stunning venue, excellent for hosting all 4 forums of CHOGM 2018. Provided a great many interesting opportunities to meet people from across the Commonwealth from very diverse backgrounds and sectors: Business, People, Women & Youth
F.
Great event venue. Not an exciting review as it’s an events/ exhibition space! But does the job. Lifts we’re good and fast, toilets were clean and plenty on all levels. Nice to have a bit of space outside to chill if needed, with excellent views of the historical buildings of Westminster.
G. W.
Very nice set up with a well organised lay out and staff
D. G.
A decent conference facility at a GREAT location.
Location is awesome, but the conference facilities gives a bit more to be wanted. The room layout is like a maze and it is easy to get lost. But once you find your location the rooms are of good quality with good ventilation and lighting. Air is good even in very crowded rooms.
L. R.
Very professional taking covid passports temps. Dinning room looked amazing staff very helpful totally enjoyed the food and experience
Y. T.
5 floors full of exciting things going on. We were at the Palexpo...Europe's biggest event on Palestine...what a great event and education. The place is awesome with friendly staff...nice toilets aswell...with tissues!
A. M. (.
Of course it depends on the kind of event. SDW 2018 was interesting as usual, well organized. I should say the only negative point is the coffee bar at the entrance, few chairs, not a big choice, but ok anyway. I'll be back...
A. N.
Great meeting space with functional rooms and loads of amenities!👍🏽👍🏽
G. T.
Every time I come here theres something going on! Decent venue for events, staff are friendly and helpful. Portion control is a little extreme 😩
R. W.
I attended the HKTDC event at the QE2. The event organisation had improved significantly over recent years. No long queues or waiting despite a very large audience. Arrangements were a delight - well done
C. L.
Perfect location for a conference in a purpose built location offering very modern facilities
L. B.
Really nice venue. Bit of a shame about the location - many protests around there, but the view was quite nice.
D. A. A. د. ع. ب. ح. ا.
Excellent venue to host events with good accessibility and facilities. The venue is spacious and can be designed to cater for different purposes. There’s a cafe “Sanctuary” at the entrance serving speciality coffee. Free wifi is available and its a walking distance from Westminster Underground Station.
P. 6. G.
We were at an event today @PrivSec and talked about data protection and Brexit. Lots of interest. Lovely building and good refreshments #Brexit #ukgdpr #6sg #6sglobal #euepecr2019 #euegdpr #dataprotection
D. F. T. P.
Incredible place, has all the technologies, all the services, to great meetings or the little ones, his people is so professional that makes you feel in home.
K. A.
Fantastic place to visit for events. Each experience has been sensational.
G. M.
Great venue with lots of functional rooms of various sizes
Catering was a complete rip off!
£3 for a can of Fanta that clearly stated "not to be sold individually"
G. Y.
Great venue, with accessible entry and a large reception. I've been to a number of events here and I find it a memorable experience.
I. N.
Great conference venue and facilities, situated at Westminster, Central London. 16JAN2020 Microsoft Envision Tour
V. G.
Nicely built place... Very nice surroundings... Good place for conferences in London
S. J.
Terrific venue, great views, staff very friendly and professional
k. e.
It a good place for conference. Secure clean . Overall experience was good
p. c.
Great space for events, very spacious, clean great staff.
M. R.
Strange looking venue that actually makes for a good conference facility. Spread across several floors adds an interesting challenge but the staff are great and make all the difference.
R. N.
Great location and excellent facilities. Had a great conference and staff very friendly and helpful.
B. C. E.
The catering was very good and the atmosphere felt great.
G. A.
Good facilities. Attended the CFA Institute Society Leadership Conference from 9-11 May, 2019.
L. C.
Very nice meeting center with great facilities. Ask to see the third floor "loo with a view". Great food also!
C. G. V.
Great place to hold meeting and conferences. Amazing view, great facilities and catering.
B. S.
Tidy and spacious! Nice views to Westminster. Food that was served in our event could be bit healthier.
F. S.
Great venue but expensive. The rooms are not well coordinated for our type of event.
M. M.
Nice events space but can be overcrowded for popular events. At full capacity, it can be *very* hard to move around, especially if there are exhibition stands. They have several cafes around the building and on the whole only use china mugs, as they are trying to be more eco friendly.
Easy to get lost here and often hard to find the stairs when there are stands up in the middle of rooms. The toilets are well kept and there are free water fountains all around the building (these have plastic cups).
A. E.
Good venue for an event/expo.
F. K.
A very good place for conferences. Good catering and service. Audio and video are very good. I feel that that is a very comfortable place to come for a conference
F. A.
A very decent conference centre. Very easily accessible and literally a few mins walk from Westminster tube station. The staff is very friendly and helpful. However if you're attending an event here, I recommend arriving at least 15min before you need to be there to figure out which floor to go to, and to pass security. Decent conference venue with awesome views and picturesque surroundings.
п. п.
The building is not as beautiful as City hall, for example, but the situation is perfect to attend some confetence
s. d.
Good location at heart of London. Nice spacious place for arranging the big occasion..
P. B.
This was my first attendance at this venue. Having been to many others over the years, this was an extremely pleasant experience overall. The rooms were very well laid out, prepped & furnished with all necessary equipment. The menu provided was varied & beautifully presented ... even a little quirky ... & was very well received by everyone there. Venue staff were consummate professionals throughout & were both very pleasant & helpful. All in all it was a very enjoyable day & am delighted my company chose it.
S. H.
I'd rather be in the QEII looking at Westminster Abbey than in Westminster Abbey looking at the QEII...
T. B.
Very nice convention center, on a central location.
N. S.
Very nice clean envi. Very kind, courteous and caring staff, always willing to give a helping hand. 😀
B. S. W.
Everyone was so helpful very well organised.
It was so easy.
F. B.
Great place for events. Lots of space and rooms at every level. Really comfortable in every way, seats, sound balance, services. QE2 Center is also incredibly well placed. Sitting on the grass under a tree in front of Westminster Abbey during the coffee break is something you will remember :)
S. A.
There's a nice executive lounge in the lobby. Great place for quick work coffees. Nice service staff and menu. 3 stars because the "gatekeeper" security guards don't allow members of public in, but the front desk does... All this while the lounge is very underused, especially on non-event days.
A. F.
A great place for events. It specialises in events for between 40 and 1,300 delegates. It also has 2,000 square metres of exhibition space. The Centre is a very successful venue hosting over 400 meetings each year. Great location near Westminster. Parking place is a challenge anyway.
R. C.
Nice location but the halls are a bit small
L. B.
Conference for Lancome was great !
U. S.
Well suited centre for conferences and meetings, with multiple rooms/spaces.
M. C.
The furniture and amenities of the whole building are little bit dated, but apparently, these don't reduce the passion and enthusiasm from their staffs and mangers. Impressed by their humorous and friendly attitude. By the way, their food for staff is quite good.
C. L.
An amazing venue, fantastic conference facilities with great staff.
C. K.
Came here for an event yesterday. Very spacious, meaning that a lot of people were able to be accommodated for. There are a few different staircases to my knowledge, and plenty of lifts. Although the lifts are quite a squeeze.
L. W.
Interesting annual exhibition by Historic Buildings .
A. E.
The staff are so welcoming and the little cafe here has a great selection of food and good coffee. Unfortunately the upper floors of the building don't have enough lifts so you can end up in a long queue trying to move between levels.
D. C.
Brutalist conference centre in the heart of London. Exposed concrete and layout are a 1960s architectural dream. If you are attending a conference here, well, the cloakrooms will be slow, they are not set up to cope with the heavy load, even though its not unusual. The toilets can be poorly maintained and cleaned. The actual conference spaces are perfectly pleasant though and there is plenty of space to spread out.
Location wise, I usually go via St James on the Circle and walk down, but you can do Westminster as well, the walk is pretty much the same distance.
R. F.
This venue hosted a Civil Service Live. Very impressed throughout the whole day
R. E.
Excellent location as long as you don't exhibit and have equipment to get in. Not enough lifts for stuff. Modern building with great auditorium and sound. Very hot if the sun is out.
S. S.
Great venue, thoroughly enjoyed Esri Annual conference, will definitely attend again. Informative, great for networking, solutions for everything connected to mapping, Gis and Arcgis pro. The only negative was the venue is very large, the capacity I understand is 2500 in attendance, understandably the lifts couldnot cope with the influx of people that you had no option but to take the stairs to get from each workshop and lecture, but this was no easy task due to the number of delegates similarly trying to get to their chosen workshop, between floors. Seating was also a problem, there was standing room only by the time you got to some of the workshops, it took so long to navigate your way to each floor and suite, that by the time you arrived at the specified floor and room the session had already started. Air conditioning is a must also for a venue on this scale! It was very hot, also due to the number of people in attendance. Other than that, staff were friendly and welcoming!
P. A.
Great, open space for conferences. If the catering is carried out there, then this is top notch! Plenty of small tapas-style nibbles... Large stages and appears to have great broadcast capabilities.
F. A.
Amazing convention center. Great facilities, very clean and easy to find your way through. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The different meeting rooms had awesome acoustics. The location is also fantastic.
H. S.
The concierge was ace, the building is like s made but the overall experience was what you would expect of a conference centre but a very large venue ideal for something big. It's size is a larger win factor than the look and feel of the building
E. C. P. A.
It's a perfect place for working meeting and event.
M. B.
Attended for a business show but the cafe was not serving hot food for some reason. Therefore all exhibitors had to leave the building to get something reasonable to eat. Very poor abd inconvenient for those working there that day and a commercial disaster for the cafe owners. At least 2000 people at the Centre that day... major lost revenue opportunity!
M. W.
Superb conference centre in a prime location near some of Londons best heritage sites. The centre can cater for national events with large rooms and breakout facilities and provides high quality food and drink. Great views out to Big Ben and Westminster from the galleries
B. T.
Probably the best organised conference centre I've been to. Also right in the centre of everything, which is cool.
I went as a conference attendee and the whole registration process was made super simple by big screens directing you to the right desk.
We were in the downstairs hall which is a massive room. It never got too hot or too cold, there was a stage and I could see everything from every position.
WiFi worked great too.
O. M.
Lovely conference center with clean and comfortable facilities. Love the large barn door style on the conference room entrances. The food was excellent each day.
J. S.
Very helpful staff especially security.
K. K.
Warren of a place with lots of small meeting rooms as well as large conference areas & huge central hall which has translators booths. Great views from top rooms. Be prepared for sometimes a delay getting through security. Invitation to scheduled events only. Massive multi level underground carpark. Pop over to Westminster central Hall opposite for tea & cake nearest tube St.James ( Distict Line)
H. i. N. A. Z. (. G. l.
Great place to visit and see.
K. O.
Excellent location. Staff were always polite and helpful. The presentation of all areas within the centre is always very high quality com the main event halls to the cloak rooms.
B.
Great place to host a conference or event. Has plenty of room and facility choices. Easy to find using public transport. Only 2 minute walk to Westminster tube station.
A. C. C.
Very good conference centre, in a great location in the centre of London.
P. S.
Superb conference facilities
R. J.
This is a magnificent building with huge panoramic Windows on the upper floors giving splendid views of some of London's most iconic landmarks. It's easy to get to, especially if you walk from Victoria station rather than use the underground!
M. K.
Great location, great service and really lovely and supportive staff. Clean rooms and bathrooms, good meal service for a conference and great views if you go to the upper floors. I took some shots from the 5th floor to have an idea..
M.
Very modern conference centre in the heart of London
S. R.
Well run venue for conferences. The facility is a bit dated, and the architecture is too. But the views from inside looking out are great.
S. H.
Amazing venue in a prime location in Westminster. Very near a market that sells a huge variety of foods during the week too. Really well designed, and perfect for large conferences.
L.
A beautiful building with attentive staff
A. B.
I was involved with running a Conference for over 1000 people and the team at the QEII Centre could not have been more helpful. A team of 'yes, I can organise that' and all done with a smile made my job easy! Thank you to all staff who helped make such a success of our 4 day event.
O. S.
Nice venue, modern with plenty of space.
The food wasn't the best though and the only cold drink available is water, no juice or squash. Tea and biscuits are provided.
M.
Went there for the synbitech conference (synthetic biology). Decent space, a lecture theatre and upstairs for refreshments. We only had access to the churchill theater and the breakroom on the first floor.
I.
I Organised a three day conference from 18-20th October for 1,300 people from 70 countries using 6 different rooms. The event was a triumph from every perspective and QE11 were in a big way responsible for this.
My event manager Stuart Drummond was exceptional in ensuring that everything ran smoothly. He was ably assisted by a phenomenal A.V. team led by Frank Goodhind and catering team led by Vicki Goudge.
We had nearly all meals at QE11 who accommodated the tastes and dietary needs of varying nationalities.
All my delegates were delighted with the high standards of service but in addition my world class speakers also commented that this was one of the best conferences that they had attended.
The location is of course magnificent, however, it is surpassed by the level of care and professionalism of the team. This is without a doubt the best conference venue in Britain.
Ian Kemp President Family Development Foundation.
J. H.
Very good facilities inside, some of the rooms get very hot when they are full.
A. R.
First time I was here. Conventions and events have always driven me crazy and after seeing what this venue can do, my mind blew up to see infinite number of possibilities to turn Queen Elizabeth II Centre into something amazing. I don't know how to describe it. Just by seeing it might be better...
D. T.
Easily one of favourite event venues as somebody who works in the industry. Easy to load in and set up, the staff are accommodating and the security whilst tight, are very friendly.
T. A.
Amazing Event Centre, Huge, clean, polite staff.
I. G.
Fantastic location, but it’s not very big or convenient. I suppose those are sacrifices you have to make for such a central venue, but as a conference attendee I would have preferred a less central - but also less cramped - venue.
M. d. H.
Conference center at a very nice location next to Westminster Abbey. QUII Center is a strange building. Many strange corridors and staircases between the conference rooms. A little worn. Could do with a make-over
J. S.
Here for work !
Nice place to be !
i.
Went here for a conference. It was a good venue for a conference with clean toilets and great venues nearby including Westminster Parliament and Big Ben.
Only challenge was parking places which weren't so near to the venue.
I. J.
Efficient, modern and modernist events venue. Surprisingly capacious. Well-located for views over parliament. Tube stop isn 't the best but the walk from Victoria, Charing Cross or Waterloo are tourist delights (provided it's not raining sideways).
J. C.
Reasonable venue for 200 people conference centre in Westminster
T. H.
Love this venue, very spacious and secure. Clean restrooms. Staff was helpful! Took part in an exhibition on one of the floors and was impressed.
J. B. (.
Great place and iconic views.
L. G.
What a place to have your conference at, and the views from some rooms are outstanding. Latest refurbishment and digital signage is great (but then again I might be biased here).
S. W.
Decent conference centre with great views
B. P.
Great place of shows and events
a.
I attended a graduation event at this venue. It is right bang in the center of some London's attractions. It has easy transportation via bus or underground
B. R.
Great for large conferences. Decent food available but not cheap. Water fountains everywhere however
B. M.
The QE 2 Centre is a great venue for large events. The staff are very well organised. Plus we also got a free coffee or tea.
I. Y.
Location was at the heart of the city of Westminster just a walking distance from all modes of local transport. The QE II CENTRE was the perfect place for the conference with top notch facilities 👍
N. H.
I went to an exhibition at QE2 centre. Very clean, good security staff keeping queues down. Easy to get to Westminster underground is only 3 minute walk.
s. m.
Modern convention centre in middle of London. That makes it a nuisance to get to, and accommodation nearby will be expensive but it's right at the centre of a popular city. Cleverly, the rooms are named after historical figures of achievement or the UK royal family.
P. C.
I visited QEII for ESRI annual conference. Very big venue, programs/conferences are organised very well. Location is superb and easily accessible public transport.
陳.
Good place for conference
D. S.
Located in the heart of the city, making it easily accessible and providing perfect vista of Westminster Abbey. Has vast lobbies and spacious audotoriums, perfect place to hold a conference.
R. W.
Very accessible location. 6 minute walk from St James tube station. Great conference facilities and very good buffet lunch
T. C.
Great event venue. eTail 2018 was amazing.
J. C.
A great place to host a conference. Great food and exceptionally friendly staff. Overall, very efficient and effective venue.
S. N.
Great place for corporate events
P. N.
Amazing venue. Lighting and the layout of stage is awesome. Went to Houmayon Shjaryan's concert and it was super. A+++
S. H.
By far the most professionally run and central conference venue you're likely to find in London! Great staff, security and modern interior. Good transport links too. 5 stars.
P. D.
A fab venue with great staff. I felt like anything is possible😍 within budget off course🤭 Imagine tbis view wirh all the lights. Best of #UK
F. I.
Over 2 days, on both days the toilets stopped working and we were expected to stand up to eat lunch... nice big rooms though, when the chairs were set up on time.
F. F.
Excellent conference facilities here for BNOS 2019.
Registration was painless & the lunch/drinks/snacks have all been lovely
S. C.
Great conference venue and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Facilities were excellent and it’s in a great location too.
M. S.
Good venue, great views, great location.
N. G.
Snooty staff, how can they be snooty!?! Could not find my ticket. Cafe was a bit better than expected. Convention rooms are great.
O. O.
Magnificent structure... every nook and cranny of the building is a good background for a snapshot... amazing lighting system and good sound
H. G.
Who doesn't love the QEII? The best conference centre in London. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The space is great. The facilities are excellent.
M. U.
Attended a expo here, easy to get to from Waterloo train station, the venue was very clean and the staff were excellent.
I. K.
Went here for a conference, nice venue, good catering, although the navigation can be confusing and the lifts get crowded until the attendees find out that there is more than one set.
A. N.
My hosts provided a very nice spread. Note: their coffee shop does not accept notes and coin.
M. K.
Great facilities and outstanding staff
P. F.
It's a conference centre.
T. M.
Was here for a conference. The only centre is extremely well organized, the rooms are good and the food is great. I'll be happy to come back another time.
A. D.
An excellent venue for a conference, I was here for the intelli2018 conference and it was well hosted and well attended. The closing keynote speech was delivered by Alistair Campbell and was exceptional.

Beautiful venue. Was here for a convention... Great and spacious meeting rooms, large auditoriums and good security
B. B.
Great venue. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Would recommend using this facility in the future.
B. M.
Attended the Intelligent Transport Conference. No issues with the site, good location, spacious, clean and modern setting. Staff professional.
S. C.
As a venue space it is starting to look and feel very tired. It is in a great spot with 2 Tube stations close by though.
H. G.
Fantastic conference venue. View from upstairs was great overlooking Houses of Parliament and Westminster abbey. Food was good aswell
E. G. P.
An amazing conference venue with good standards. This was opened by Queen Elizabeth in 1986. Close to the heart of London it is easy to get to.
R. K.
A very good place for events catering to more than 300 people. It was fun being there. There is a cloakroom too.
E. S.
The place was clean and we as exhibator was in General happy one of the toilet room was closed and the other was full with people. To find a taxi from there when finished was not easy.
E. C. P. d. A.
This place is perfect for working events! The bath are always clean. It has realy good space. The location it's perfect!
i.
Central and well designed, but not suitable for big events...the service lift at the back of the building is some kind of nightmare for the exhibitors and their gear to get in an out of the building.
P. G.
This large Conference Centre in the heart of Westminster. A short walk from the tube. Is a great location if you are looking to hold event in the heart of London.
D. B.
Well located and with sweeping views of iconic London landmarks
N. N.

Best venue in Central London, location is amazing. Have view of Westminster, Abbey, London eye, Big Ben n many more.
A. H.
Went there for a security event... Great venue. Great vibe. Great staff. Would definitely book it for my events too.
r. d.
can be crowdy when a large exhibition is taken place because of small and crowdy corridors. good public transport access
S. F.
Helpful staff, lovely venue & great central location. We really enjoyed our conference experience.
F. S.
Great convention center, centrally located. #paworld18 #tucana #qe2c
M. T.
I really appreciate the center; it can host many guest and WiFi is free inside. The last time it attended there was during a conference with about 600+ guests
G. W.
View from 6th floor is cool!

Amazing conference palace. The staff are really efficient. Rooms are just brilliant. Great team in charge.
A. N.
I like the organisation of each event I attended there, they know how to run the place.
Very convenient location, but avoid going by car.
H. R.
