A lot of effort is put in to these events. Jordi and his co-hosts are really friendly and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. I went to the golf event which was a lot of fun, I have never played golf before, but I got the hang of it quickly with a lot of encouragement from the other attendees.

Such a great experience!! I did the Cards Against Humanity event. Sadly I did not have any matches, either friend or otherwise, however I am so not disappointed because of how much fun I had! I have SEVERE social anxiety so any kind of event where you have to meet people is absolutely terrifying for me. It did not help that I was doing this by myself as well. Right, so there was pregame mingling which kinda sucked because I was super intimidated. But this one lovely woman sat next to me and we got chatting and she's been to a few of these events before so she told me not to stress out. The bar was super cute and quaint, you went into this room behind a massive mirror which was brilliant. Really loved it. The service was super amazing and friendly as well. Jordie gave us these clipboards with a form, you could write some notes on the back and on the front put names of people you'd like to match with as either a friend or something more. I ended up putting more people I'd like to meet as friends rather than potential SOs truth be told. It was so much fun playing CAH (one of my fav games) and it was really fun meeting complete strangers as well. By the end of the event, the pressure of having to meet someone and have an instant connection fizzled out. There was also some after event drinks with a bunch of people since the room was booked for the night but at that point my social batteries were done big time so I headed off. I do hope that something came out of it for some people because it was a really fun night and you could see a bit of a spark. Absolutely doing this event again! It is so worth it just for a night out.

Great event, they had a nice setup with tables dotted all around the bar, the activity helps break the ice, you get a good amount of time to chat and there's not so many people that you feel overwhelmed and Jordi was a fantastic host.

This was my first speed dating event that was premised on playing a scrabble game. It turned out to be quite a lot of fun trying to make dirty words! LOL Jordie, the host, was very welcoming and made everyone feel at ease. The event started on time and the venue was easy to get to. While I didn't find a love match, I made a new friend. I would highly recommend attending one of Smudge Lipsticks events. Go with an open mind and no expectations!

Absolutely loved Color Me Badd Dates last night at The Book Club in Shoreditch! I decided to perform and it was like performing amongst friends. Jordi warms up the audience so everyone is present and really engaged. Such a great night!

I did the Jenga date event. It was really relaxed and Jenga game did help as a ice breaker/awkward silence filler. Didn't make any romantic connections but met some really cool people. Jordi and Tara the hosts were really helpful and welcoming. Definitely recommend!

Just the kind of events I was searching for! I didn't quite know what to expect in my first time going to diary days but.... It totally exceeded my expectations! The whole mission and concept of this brand is for people to connect in different ways, talk and to have fun. Something that really resonated with me and which I really champion. In a city like London where it can be hard to meet people sometimes, these events are just perfect. A lot of effort goes in by the host into the organisation- from the choice of venue, thoughtful little details at the event, personalised communications you receive before and after, the hosts attentiveness to you as a guest with him just remembering your name make it all the more special. I'm looking forward to attending many more! Thanks for making midweek nights out even more fun! :D and keep doing what you're doing!

So many varied events. Colour me bad dates and diary days has never failed to surprise, shock and bring me to tears of laughter. A unique and hilarious experience every time. Expect the unexpected. Dating events a welcome relief from the apps. Also the book club is a great location to grab food before/after.

Booked this over a year ago....but something in the world happened. So 1st night out in almost a year; was way more fun than expected; not a cocktail bar sort of person, but I forgot I was in such a place. The crowd were fun and friendly, aged 20's-40's; was nice to interact with strangers again. Made a couple of friends, but no love.......would consider doing it again 1 day.......So much better than the 2 previous 'dating' nights I've been on (mind they were 20 years ago!).

For £6 the diary days will blow your mind! Considering it is all audience participation, it was one of the funniest nights I have had this year! Be prepared to meet fun and warm people and to make friends :)

I've been to a few of these events now and each one has been a really fun night out. The format of the event really works and it's a great way to meet people while having a laugh. Jordi is a professional and friendly host who makes a real effort to put everyone at ease, creating the right atmosphere to have a relaxed and fun evening.

Could have been so much more fun. The guys are kept in the same pairing all night. Not great if the other bloke is so attention-seeking that it's impossible to chat with anyone else. Otherwise could have been a lot of fun and might be next time. Venue was super expensive for drinks and snacks, but I'll probably still attend one of these events again at some point, the positives outweighed my negative comments. Next time I'll hope for a much better pairing

I've been to a few events now, the most recent being Dirty Scrabble. It was a lot of fun, the people you meet at these events are always kind and genuine and everyone has a good laugh. Jordi was a great host during the event - easy to talk to and keen to ensure everyone is having fun. Would recommend this or any of their other events as a relaxed way of meeting new people.

Did the mini-golf Smudged Lipstick event and it was awesome. Really well planned and a really friendly atmosphere. I came with a friend but I would have been totally fine going solo with that crowd. Jordi and the team of organisers are fab, really engaged and keep everything light-hearted and fun.

I went to a Cards against Humanity event this week with a friend, although Jordi was so warm and welcoming I would have been comfortable arriving alone. The evening was very well organised and we were given an opportunity to to mingle with everyone before the games began. The night was hilarious and although some people seemed a little reserved at the start it wasn't long before the room was filled with a cacophony of laughter! It is a wonderful concept, enabling people to discover others with a similar sense of humour and whether shy or confident, everyone gets a chance to shine. I would highly recommend Cards Against Humanity as even if you don't find love, there is much fun to be had and you will definitely be going home with a smile....Thank you Jordi, I will most certainly be coming to more events in the future!

I had a really fun and entertaining evening doing the salsa dating. I felt nervous to begin with because I had never done salsa before but the instructor and the team helped everyone feel comfortable. I met some really interesting people and I would really recommend this to anyone that wants to do speed dating a bit differently

It’s been extremely difficult for everyone during the pandemic so anything that is lighthearted, fun and enables you to meet new people (following the social-distancing guidelines, obvs) is more than welcome right now! The Taskmaster online event was all of the above and I would highly recommend :).

I attended the Jenga speed dating event. I thought the event was well planned with the organisers making clear how the event is going to pan out. I particularly liked the way the organisers handled the event. They were very friendly and provided for a comfortable and social atmosphere. The only drawback for me personally was the price which I found a bit high. Hopefully there’s more events to come thanks guys!

I would thoroughly recommend dirty scrabble speed dating by Smudged lipstick events. It was great meeting new people in a cool venue alongside a game of dirty scrabble, music and drinks. The hosts were very welcoming and the event was well organised. Great for singletons who are looking for alternative options too online dating.

Was tricked into going to the dirty scrabble night by a 'kind-hearted' friend who said i needed to get out and meet new people. then subsequently ditched me to hang out with their other half. The dick. So being alone and feeling very out-of-place I was greatly appreciative to receive an incredibly warm welcome from Jordy. The night was a great laugh, well organised and a good venue with lots of alcohol to calm my nerves. I would recommend to anyone single or not as its a great laugh and you meet new people. I feel I may have peaked early with my dirty words by dropping the 'C-bomb' but apparently its a great screening process to see someones sense of humour. I remained dry for the evening and no drink poured on me after a great run of butt-stuff related phrases HA.Thank god no one kept score. Can't wait for the cards against humanity evening,
