K. M.After midnight, this place never fails..
Although would be great if the DJ could play a track for longer than 30 seconds..
H. P.Difficult to find as the Pizzeria's sign was large and concrete's was easily missed. It hosted musical bingo which took me back years to Freshers week at university. Beers and snacks were quite expensive given the rugged basic look of the venue.
The event attracted several large groups bringing quite a mix of people
K. K.Great event space, we came to see the Drag show and had a great time. Friendly staff, great facilities, no real waiting for service at the bar or queues in the toilets even though the show was sold out. I'd advise getting there in good time if you want to pick your spot. We ate at the Pizza East restaurant upstairs before the show, which I would recommend 100%. Not a restaurant for a quite, intimate meal, but as cool and funky as the Concrete Space, good music and a lively atmosphere, a great way to start the night!
T. K.Some of the best and fairest security I've seen at a club. Drinks were decent priced £6-7 for a single but a very limited selection I was honestly shocked. I'm sure there are home bars that have more spirit options honestly. The venue is decent sized and full of air conditioning to the point I personally found it a bit chilly but I'd rather it to a sweat box. The queue outside was mental and slow moving. Toilets well maintained.
S. P.I enjoyed this club, was pretty decent! Music was really good, live atmosphere! The only downfall was the club closing a little early and I found one of the bouncer men slightly arrogant, but the others were lovely. I would still go back there for the dance and as mentioned I loved the music.The service of the bouncer could have been more representable, as first impressions always count! Otherwise-5* !
Z. S.If you like old school R&B and grime you will love the music at this place. But don't come before midnight. It is absolutely dead you can count the people on your hand before this time. There is an entry fee between 5-10 depending on what time you arrive. Place shuts around 2 on Friday and Sat.
r. a.Great music, mainly hip hop based contemporary and new. Friendly people and a dance floor. Great atmosphere small club but lively enough dont be fooled by the entrance may look theres barely anyone there
A. H. T.My fiancé and I love going to Flavas at this venue. We're Trinidadians and the music is always vibesy. Shout out to Jevanni Letford for always bringing the energy!
Sidenote: There are plenty toilet stalls in the Ladies and they're always clean and well stocked.
