I had an appointment at Teokath on Saturday. First experience in a bridal boutique and it was fabulous. From the moment you walk in, you are put ease with all the friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere and beautiful dresses. Maria the stylist was amazing!! She knew immediately what dresses would suit me, along with accessories and shoes there is such a vast range of choices. All of this combined with a glass of bubbles, you cant go worng. I booked the appointment to get some inspiration by trying dresses on, I left with THE DRESS, shoes and accessories. Maria took all of the stress away. Can not recommend Teokath more highly :)

Where do I even begin, I have met many stylists and gone to many shops but Teokath and especially Kelly, have been the most incredible and stood out from all the rest. This was the third wedding dress shop I visited and was starting to feel that I'd never quite find a dress that I felt that special in. From stepping through the door I can only say positive things about my experience and staff there. Levi made me feel incredibly comfortable from the beginning, was extremely attentive, smily and kind as well as honest. Her opinion and advice was greatly appreciated and she was just wonderful with suggestions. Eventually I tried on a dress which I just knew made me feel amazing and I was allowed to stay in it for as long as I wanted. The store is beautiful, mirrors and lighting highlight all the best parts of your body and dress. Quite rare to find a store with good lighting and mirrors. Plenty of space to have a good look at the dress from different angles. Huge selection of dresses, which is a massive plus and you're not asked for an appointment fee, which many stores do now. Good selection of shoes, veils and other accessories, all reasonably prices. Dresses are also priced very well. If you're looking for THE ONE, I would highly recommend this shop as I am confident you will be able to find your style, size and fit.

Had a great experience wedding dress shopping at Teokath. They have a large variety of different styles of gowns and designers. Levi was extremely welcoming and patient whilst I tried several dresses on, providing useful guidance and advice toward other styles she thought I might like - as well as options for tweaking and tailoring. I'm not sure if this is still the case, but due to the pandemic I had a private appointment which was great as you really feel looked after. Plus prosecco for me and my friends, which never hurts! They then ordered in something specific I had seen and assisted in customising the design with the designer, so I ended up with the perfect dress for me! I can't thank Teokath enough for their fantastic service. I found my dream wedding dress (this was before Covid). I had to shop alone as none of my family members and bridesmaids are based in UK, Levi was exceptional, she made me feel comfortable and listened to what I had in mind but also recommended some other styles that would work on me. When I put on the dress, I immediately knew it is THE ONE! Unfortunately Covid came and we had to postpone our wedding, I was worried about storing the dress but Teokath was so understanding and accommodating, they helped me to keep the dress at their store until the fitting so I don't have to worry a thing. Due to various COVID restrictions, we ended up moving our wedding forwards which meant I was due to get married in 3 days and didn’t yet have a wedding dress. We rang Teokath in the evening, explaining my situation and they so kindly kept the store open for us. Knowing that I needed to find a dress that evening could have been highly stressful, however they remained so calm and talked through various options for me, really listening and paying attention to what I said I did and didn’t like. I wasn’t overly optimistic that I’d be able to find something in such a short space of time, however with a lot of help from them, I ended up finding a dress which exceeded my expectations and I was so happy with. On finding it, Teokath then rang the local tailors and explained the time constraints I was under - within 5 minutes someone had arrived to collect the dress. They were extremely understanding of my situation and so patient with me – I will never forget how kind and helpful they were, and my dress was beautiful!

I cannot recommend this shop more highly. They quite literally saved the day when the dress shop I had bought my dress from went bust, disappearing with my dress 3 months before the wedding! It then turned out that the dress was discontinued! Teokath managed to find the same dress, brand new and in the correct size and it arrived within 2 weeks!! Miracle! Thanks to them I was able to walk down the aisle in the dress of my dreams, something which I did not think would be possible after losing the original dress so close to the day. The ladies in the shop were wonderful and so friendly, I cannot thank them enough.

Shop is wonderful but Do Not Use the tailor Chambers they recommend. The girls in Teokath are really lovely and Kelly was fantastic, I explained the dress I had in mind and she found it, after 5 other days of shopping not finding the one. The only thing I would say is Do NOT USE the tailor Chambers Bespoke that they recommend. I had the simplest tailoring, shorten the hem and adjust straps. They done terrible sowing I honestly would have done a better job, the owner of the company speaks down to you, he told me most brides have unrealistic expectations. they got make up stains on my dress and tried to blame the staff at teokath, after his staff told him it could not have been me as I was not wearing make up. As I had documented photos of everytime they clipped me he finally had to admit they may have made some mistakes and he begrudgingly give me back £120 and then tried say that I was making it all up just to get money back... As a bride you want to get a good service and love your dress every step of the way, I cried twice in that store due to the mistakes they made and the way he talked to me. I got my dressed tided up by another dress maker, although they could not fix the damage they done to the dress of pulled material when cleaning the make up stains they got on the straps of my dress.

I've had an excellent experience with Teokath of London. I'm from the US and am living in London so didn't have my entourage of my mom and sisters to come with me and experience the dress trying-on process. I went into Teokath all alone and was made to feel very comfortable by all of the ladies. I had an hour long appointment and found "my" dress after about 10 minutes. The icing on the cake was the celebratory glass of champagne after I was done trying on dresses and finalizing paperwork. I can't wait to pick it up in August! As a side note, Teokath excelled in the purchase process and was really helpful in providing paperwork for a US citizen to reclaim VAT on the purchase (since my wedding is in the US). I was impressed by their professionalism in responding to me via email and helping facilitate the paperwork. I would definitely recommend my UK friends to explore Teokath when shopping for their wedding dresses.

I found my perfect dress in the Wimbledon branch of Teokath under the guidance of Maria. They were helpful, but not pushy, and knew how to dress my figure and personality. I then fell pregnant and was so worried at 5 months I wouldn't be able to wear my dress. The staff were just incredible . So supportive and made me feel totally at ease in a very stressful situation. They managed to get a brand new dress in for me in time and put me in touch with a great alterations company in Wimbledon village. Have very fond memories here and would 100% recommend

I bought my beautiful pronovias gown from Teokath a few months ago and can't wait to finally wear it. I chose teokath because they are one of the few Pronovias stockists in London, and IMO pronovias have the best quality dresses in their price bracket. The shop is big enough to give you enough space but small enough to get a really personal service. The staff were friendly, approachable, attentive and helpful. I was offered champagne during the first session, and had a chance to browse all of their collections on my own before selecting my favourites. My personal assistant was great- she looked at my selections, asked me about the kind of thing I was after, checked my body shape and then told me which order to try the dresses on. She deliberately made me try what she thought was the best dress first, so that all the dresses After that would be in comparison to it. This made it a lot easier to decide and her selection was the dress I eventually bought. She took my measurements and the dress i received was definitely the right size, and only needed minimal alterations. The alterations business used by teokath, Chambers, is also excellent and have done a really great job on my dress. Since buying my dress, the staff have given great follow up/after care, always giving me good advice on caring for my dress and veil. Thanks so much to all the staff at Teokath!

Then I had an accessories OCD moment and wanted a specific head piece which was being discontinued and proved nearly impossible to find. The Canterbury boutique offered to order one for me having enquired with the designer, but in the end the Wimbledon shop by sheer chance had it in stock - and let me come in and try it on that day, gave me a discount as I was an existing customer, and were generally lovely (especially Everly, who even pulled my dress sample out so I could see it all together). Altogether I went from being terrified/embarrassed by the 'wedding attire' process to totally embracing it thanks to Teokath. I'd highly recommend. The Elys shop in particular has some very well priced samples for sale, without compromising the buying experience - it's spacious and the staff lovely.

I went to Teokath Wimbeldon after trying about 23 different across 3 stores. By that stage I was looking for one Pronovias dress, which I couldn't locate anywhere else in London and unable to find from the very unreceptive Pronovias flagship. Besides them fitting me in with less than a days notice, one of the best things was I was not hurried into making a decision and felt the confidence and knowledgeability of Kelly who looked after me. She's spunky and tells it as it is, useful in a place where emotions can take over :) Other places the staff came across as inexperienced, pushy and more concerned about making a sale than helping you find a dream dress. Teokath also don't charge for appointments and will let you take pictures if you ask nicely, all a bonus. Their estimated delivery times were also much faster than enquiries elsewhere. I felt looked after here and recommend them.

The Ely Branch: You must book to get an appointment and it is a 1 on 1 appointment. The staff at this branch were very friendly and accommodating, offering us their advice and even refreshments as well. We were seen by Holly and we were impressed with her professionalism, knowledge and attitude. Excellent selection from ex samples and advice with their own alteration and dry cleaning service on offer too. Expect dry cleaning to be about £100 and alterations to be about £250-300 for size only. Would definitely recommend this place.

Lovely space, the lighting is great and the shop clean. However, I found the staff, a woman named Elle, a bit rude; I had confirmed an appointment at 6:15pm and got a telling off when I arrived at 6:20pm, and she told off my friend who arrived 5 minutes before me. On top of this, I was warned that I'd have to leave a 7pm on the dot (I had already been told this) like it was an ultimatum. I tried on a sample in a size 8 - I thought that was a bit smaller than average. It's fair to say the lace dresses I tried on (£1300 & up) look pretty rough, with the lace falling off, threads of beads broken, and tears in the fabric. Lastly, I had given my budget online and was not shown any dresses below £1300, despite me verbally acknowledging I'd like to keep things as low as possible. I wish I'd been shown more of a range of prices without specifically demanding it of Elle. At the end, she went in for the hard sell with a discount weekend coming up with 10% off - there was supposedly only 1 appointment left at 10am, did I want it? No thank you!
