Wonderful place and also the Office for Registrar of Kent. Spacious and well maintained for official purposes like the citizenship ceremony. Located at the heart of Maidstone on the Mill street with convenience of short and long stay car parks. Has the option to pay by Ringo with reasonable parking charges.

Such a beautiful registry office, we love visiting and love that the building is so grand, It doesn't look like a registry office at all as its so grand.
We are always able to get some fantastic photographs for our couples and even in Winter when the gardens aren't in bloom, there are some fantastic locations to take some great shots using the rustic features as a backdrop

If you appreciate architecture then make sure visit the Archbishops Palace. The original timber structure has timbers from Tudor warships. The Palace is being used for Weddings and Nationalisation ceremonies so check online for visiting times. There is a beautiful church next door also dating back to the 13C with beautiful stained glass windows. Awesome!

Very historical building and immediate surrounding area. Lovely architecture, great for photos. Didnt go inside and Im not sure if there are tours of the building to go on.

Beautiful wedding venue without a doubt. Access is poor for the elderly and disabled, but let's face it, it is a very old building. They do have a stair lift and the staff are excellent.

One of the nicest registry offices around - great for photos with some great features inside and out. Great for an experienced wedding photographer!
I had a great time capturing a wedding here using almost all natural light.
Can't wait to shoot here again.
Staff were very accommodating and friendly too.

Beautiful place to take a walk, the views from the river are stunning.... this place is very busy every weekend since they celebrated weddings in here. Advisable to walk around.. the gardens are beautiful 😍

I went there to watch my son get married, the service was held in a nicely decorated room, the area outside is kept clean and well tended.
All in all making it a perfect venue for a wedding.
