Beautiful venue with private garden & 5 doubpe bedrooms, all have ensuite bathrooms. Booked via Leeds Castle. Highly recommended. Perfect wedding blessing, booked for 3 nights.

Beautiful place. Stayed for a weekend for a wedding. My room absolutely spotlessly clean, in fact the whole place very clean. In house caterers served lovely breakfast and Sunday roast. Free entrance to Leeds Castle , fascinating place.

Please be aware that if you book Battel Hall for your wedding, you can’t have your wedding photographs on the site of Leeds Castle… We visited the Leeds Castle Battel Hall as a potential wedding venue, having seen on a Leeds Castle website video advertising their wedding venues, including Battel Hall, couples having their wedding photographs taken at the Castle. This is such a beautiful special place to have wedding photographs taken that this was a major selling point of booking Battel Hall. When we visited Battel Hall, we felt the staff were lovely to us and the venue could be wonderful for a summer wedding (if the weather is good!). However, we were shocked, especially with the price being in the upper bracket for a wedding venue, to be told that we couldn’t have wedding pictures taken on the Leeds Castle site – only at a long distance in a field next to Battel Hall! When we explained that the wedding advert video on the Leeds Castle website gave the very clear impression that if you booked Battel Hall, couples could have their wedding pictures taken at Leeds Castle, we felt that our concerns were not taken seriously. We followed up in writing to Leeds Castle and asked them to correct their advertising on the website but they ignored our concern. Therefore, we are writing this review to warn other wedding couples.

Music and firework display with a spitfire flyby. Fantastic. Do go if you get the chance. The weather happened to be perfect too, so bonus all round.

This is the best venue I have ever found for a family orientated weekend/special occasion, in our case a 60th birthday. An historic building, tastefully modernised to an extremely high standard. A morning room, library, large dining room plus modern kitchen on the ground floor. 5 double or twin bedrooms, all ensuite on upper floor. Extensive grounds with several seated areas. Check out the website, with floorplan, as my description hardly does it justice. Have already booked another 5 day stay. Leeds Castle staff could not be more helpful and friendly. Highly recommended.
