I come here every year by way of a tradition. I love it and it gets bigger and better every time.
Being that the last time we was able to come here was 2019, this years show was an incredible one.
Thoroughly enjoyed and will be confirming my attendance again for 2022. Cannot wait!

A great annual show with brilliant displays and organisers.
It's THE best way to teach yourself and your children about aspects of history

I was a trader so didn't get time to see the whole event it was that big. Saying that we were in front of arena one, where there was plenty of events. Ranging from the vikings, Napoleon's era, and medieval time, to name a few. There was plenty static displays including one with Spitfire, a world war one trench experience. The sound of firefights resounded around the show ground throughout the day. My suggestion, if you have young children a pair of ear defenders is a good shout. Likewise if you're planning on bringing dog that nervous of loud noises I'd think again. All in all a must see event, one day is probably not enough to experience all the attractions.

Went with two of my kids and we all enjoyed the static displays and talks from knowledgeable reenactors and also the trade stalls where we all found some good bargains , the kids would definitely like to go again next year.

Really diverse military show, bit of something for everyone. All ages and types of warfare, vehicles from the Great War up to modern day. Massive indoor display, I think of models but as I only visited for the day I didn't have time to look.
Lot's of trade/collector stalls which were much better than the tat at War and Peace this year.
I will be booking my vehicles in for next year's event and staying the weekend.

Excellent event, well organised and layed out. Reenactors all friendly and willing to talk about kit and history etc. Good for a family day out, my 4 year old daughter loved it (as soon as we got her some ear defenders). The large reenactments in the main arena are always great to watch and the smaller displays are great fun too. Highlight of the day for me was firing black powder muskets. Food and drinks not too expensive for a big event like this and plenty of variety. All in all a nice relaxed day out, much smaller than the war and peace show so you can comfortably get round everything in a day without walking double time everywhere. Living history at its best.

What a great event. It was huge! So many events and vendors. The WW1 trench experience was the highlight for us. Would go again.

Very good to see all re-enactors doing there bit after a hard 2yrs. Ideal if you are into WW1 and WW2 not much there for Victorian era. Still a good day out.

An amazing show covering 2000 years of history, great trade stalls and so much to see and do, you need all 3 days to see everything, it's well set out and the staff are friendly and helpful
