I couldn’t be happier to have had Carol and Fairytale Brides helping me find and adjust my wedding dress. I contacted them as they had the specific dress I wanted to try and they were quick to respond and book me in (a few other shops I had contacted never replied.) The shop is lovely and Carol clearly knows her stuff having been in the industry for some time. I always felt at ease as I tried on and discussed my preferences for the dress. The adjustments to my dress, (shortening and re-shaping the sleeves) went smoothly and I ended up with a dress I absolutely love.

I originally found Fairytale Brides by searching stockists of the dress designer that I was interested in. After a few email conversations with Carol and Gemma, I visited their shop around 150 miles from my home. Not only did I love the dress, but the experience at Fairytale Brides surpassed all of the other bridal shops I had been to. Carol is so warm and welcoming, a true expert in the field, and made me feel so comfortable. I felt looked after, listened to and not pressured in any way. I'm so pleased that I chose to visit Fairytale Brides rather than the stockists that were closer to home - I would wholeheartedly recommend Carol and her team to anyone!

I booked in with Carol at Fairytale brides as I wanted to see what dresses they had on their sample sale. The shop is absolutely gorgeous and Carol made sure I had the opportunity to try on as many dresses as I wanted. I picked out a few different styles and headed to the dressing room which is so beautiful. 😍 Me, my mum, sister and best friend were made to feel so comfortable throughout the appointment. Carol explained that although I had chosen to try sale dresses on I would be treated exactly the same as all her other brides which was such a nice thing to hear and put me even more at ease! I was a little anxious about making an appointment at a bridal boutique as I knew I only wanted ‘off the peg.’ I quickly realised that there is nothing wrong with doing this and I could still have the experience of a bridal appointment. Carol really knows her stuff and helped me find a dress that’s perfect for me. I couldn’t be happier with it and can’t wait to go back for my fitting in the new year! A few days before my wedding I decided I felt really anxious about my sleeveless dress and wanted to cover my arms. I didn’t know where to turn and Gemma came to save the day. I rang fairytale brides hoping they could help and she told me to go down straight away. Gemma was soooooo lovely and brought so many options for me to have a look at. Even though I had bought my dress from a different shop, together we picked out something very similar and tried on different sleeves to see which we loved. Together, Gemma and I chose the PERFECT sleeves for my dress. They needed altering and she got on to them straight away, with the little time I had she made sure they was done and that I felt beautiful on my wedding day. And if you thought it couldn’t get any better - Gemma gave me these as a gift from her to me and was just over the moon she was able to help. Not only was her customer service amazing , as a person she is so kind, caring and just wants you to feel beautiful. Thank you for everything 💗 x

Prefect place!!! Dont go any where other than here! I went to 3 bridal shops, this was by far the Best. Carol Gemma and the girls were so kind, reassuring and extremely helpful. I came to fairytale brides back in may to look for a dress with my mum I was greeted by Gemma who I had already met at a bridal show and I can’t thank her enough! From the moment I walked in I was made to feel so special and so at ease I walked around and looked at dresses and Gemma asked me to pick some so I did all different styles. I almost said yes to a layered dress but it still didn’t feel right and k was starting to feel really sad that I would never find a dress Gemma sensed this and told me to take a seat and she would go and look she pulled the most stunning dress one I would never of though to go for and this was the dress I said yes to!! One of the friendliest boutiques I have visited with a good selection of modern beautifully detailed dresses. I spotted Fairytale Brides when looking for my wedding dress, as I was looking for a specific Hayley Paige dress, and Fairytale brides was listed as an official stockist. I phoned the shop and spoke to Carol who was absolutely lovely. She advised me that she knew which dress I was referring to but that they did not actually stock it. The shop had a HP trunk show coming up and Carol offered to book me in, and she would request that they send the dress I wanted to see for the trunk show. To my delight, when I had arrived at the shop, they had managed to get hold of the dress. Gemma assisted me on the day and was so patient with me while I made my decision. She also helped me find the perfect accessories to go with my dress. Needless to say, I said yes to the dress! Fairytale Brides went above and beyond to make sure I got my perfect dress. I even rang back a few days later as I decided I wanted the matching veil, and although they do not stock it, Gemma rang to order it straight away. I cannot find fault with the service, it made my day even more special. I just wish I didn't have to wait SO long to see it again!!! x

Coming to Fairytale Brides was a wonderful experience. The team were so welcoming. Carol was extremely helpful in listening to what sort of ideas I had, and she also made really useful suggestions of dresses to try on. Fantastic wedding boutique in Manchester. I found my dream Ian Stuart wedding dress here and the staff were so helpful and friendly. Carol is so helpful and knows exactly what sort of dress will suit you and look fabulous! My bridesmaids dresses came from Fairytale Occassions and the service here was fantastic too. It really took the stress out of dress shopping and they helped me find a great dress that would suit all of my bridesmaids. You can buy all your accessories here too so you know they will really compliment your dress. The staff here will truly make you feel like a princess, a must for all brides to be!

Oh my, what can I say about Fairytale Brides? I’m getting married for the second time, and as an over 50 year old bride I felt I needed an age appropriate dress. I had seen one that I liked but they didn’t have it in stock for me to try on. This was absolutely no problem for the lovely Carol, the store owner. She arranged with the designer do have one shipped over for me to try and kept me informed about when it would arrive. In the meantime I tried on some others and found a beautiful one that I had decided to order If the one I liked didn’t suite me. I actually ordered the one I fell in love with originally. Carol was so patient with me and nothing was too much trouble, all alterations were done in house and were done perfectly. They even altered the shape of the neckline at my request. I would recommend any future bride to go and see Carol and her girls, they were wonderful, so caring, patient and such perfectionists. I can’t thank you enough ladies.

This shop stood out amongst all others we visited. Carol was amazing at making me feel comfortable and helping me chose my perfect gown. The girls here go above and beyond and clearly love what they do. I live abroad and was only visiting the UK over Christmas for two weeks and they opened especially over the holidays so that me and the family could look at the dresses. A year later I was again only home for two weeks before the wedding (again over Christmas) yet they still managed to fit in 3 dress fittings over the only 7 days I had in Manchester, yet again opening up one day when they were supposed to be closed. Always greeted with smile and a drink and the absolute assurance that everything would be perfect and of course it was. Gemma even emailed me photos of the fabric and colours of my dress to help me with choosing my bridesmaid dresses when I was back overseas. I cannot thank these ladies enough and highly recommend any bride take a visit and look at their stunning dresses. Thank you so much Carol and Gemma and sorry its taken me so long to say it! xx
