Do You Believe? stock some absolutely stunning dresses and provided me with a personal, professional service while helping me to find the perfect wedding dress. The dress I bought was so gorgeous and their seamstress Juliana worked some magic to adapt the dress to fit me perfectly. Thank you for the positive experience from start to finish!

I can't recommend this place enough. I bought 2 of the flower girl dresses from Helen which involved a load of personalisation. The price for the amount of work that was done on them was incredible. They have always gone above and beyond with their service to ensure that everything runs smoothly. They clearly care about their customers so much and always go the extra mile.

I came to this shop back in April and found the dress! the shop is absolutely beautiful and the staff were so helpful through every appointment leading up to the big day. the dress I said yes to was actually suggested to me by the staff and it was nothing like what I thought I would of wanted but it was perfect! they really do know best! thank you for the regular updates, amazing helpful appointments and making me feel a million dollars in my dream dress. highly recommend this shop xx

After trying on so many dresses I came here and was looked after by Tracey, it was an evening appointment and I was there late. I wasn't rushed and Tracey brought me dresses that she believed would suit my body shape and I said yes to the dress which was a great price too. The shop has so many beautiful dresses and the owner Helen is lovely too. I would definitely recommend this shop.

Went to Do You Believe to start my wedding dress search and I have to say I wasn't disappointed. I was warmly welcomed into the shop, left to browse the dresses at my own pace with my family, for me this was great as I had the freedom to choose the dresses I wanted with no added pressure from staff. There was a large variety of lovely dresses of all different shapes and sizes. I felt at ease and the staff were interested in me and not just selling me a dress, definitely 5 stars for hospitality. I would truly recommend Do You Believe to any soon to be bride.

I got married last July (2016) and bought my dress here about a year before. I am a plus size girl and had varying experiences from store to store based on that. Some going so far as to look me up and down and tell me there was no way I would fit in the dresses I wanted to try. Helen and her team gave me a fantastic experience. They allowed me to try on everything I wanted and had samples in good sizes so that I (size 18/20/22 depending on style) could get in to loads of different dresses. There was no push for a sale and I didn't once feel rushed- I think we stayed well past our booking oops. It felt like being part of the family coming to the store. We had time to ourselves when trying dresses so that special moment isn't lost with sharing a mirror/plinth with lots of other brides. I bought my dress here on my second visit and couldn't have been happier with the service I had. I was even able to squeeze in an impromptu on the day appointments to show my aunt the dress when she surprised us with a visit. Helen and her team made the whole experience magical and made us all welcome. My dress fitted beautifully and Helen even helped with some personal touches for my dress that allowed the skull theme for our wedding to subtly fit in. The dress was altered beautifully and Helen really knew what she was doing with keeping the shape unaltered when I lost weight prior to the wedding and the bust needed to be pulled in. Helen, you made everything perfect and I couldn't have been happier with everything you did! X

What a wonderful experience for my daughter choosing her wedding dress. Cannot thank everyone enough. They were so patient,informative and listened to what my daughter wanted. We were allowed to look through the range of beautiful dresses at our own leisure. Kate was amazing and actually picked the first dress my daughter tried on. After trying lots more dresses my daughter bought the one Kate had picked for her. Thankyou so much for making this such a stress free wonderful day.

Best Bridal shop around, eveyone was so helpful, especially Tracey when choosing the dress at the start and the seamstress that made the dress fit my daughter perfectly , both have the patience of a saint. Helen and the team at Do You Believe are fabulous, nothing is too much trouble, I was THE most undecided bride on a budget, but, nothing was too much trouble for any of them. I tried on half the shop (Well almost) but they always gave helpful advice and opinions on style and shape of dress. I paid my deposit and was happy ............. Then I lost 2 stone and called Helen in a panic unsure if I liked my dress any more - She happily arranged an appointment for me to come back in with my Matron Of Honour and try my original dress on and also to try other dresses on. I completely changed my mind on the dress and Helen kept reassuring me that this was fine. I HAVE now found my perfect dress for the day and it's all down to the staff and their helpful ways. If you have a special occasion my advice is to go to Do You Believe - You will not be disappointed

I was let down by trying to by a dress on the internet as I was on a budget (very silly mistake) I turned up at do you believe with only 2 weeks before I was due to get married abroad, the staff were absolutely amazing as I am a plus size bride I didn't think they would have anything for me that wouldn't need to be ordered as I really didn't have any time left. They found me the most perfect dress I could have ever imagined, they made me feel like a real princess it was a dress I never would have picked for myself but they knew that it would look amazing and they were right. When I needed a few alterations as I'm a shorty Helen made me feel so comfortable and special like nothing was too much trouble, I can not thank Helen and her staff enough as they really made my day the most perfect day ever as the dress was just amazing, it was one of helens own designs she is so talented, thank you again girls your all fantastic

Very quant and 'old English' kind of shop which you wouldn't expect to find in Newport but it was packed with all sorts. It was a real treasure trove. Kate was helping our bride and she was gorgeous. She was so helpful, gave ideas and suggestions but not in an overbearing way. They were all very friendly. It was a lovely experience and if you're looking for a bridal gown, bridesmaids dress, prom dress, together with accessories.... this is your place.

In the website there are so many beautiful dresses so I booked an appointment last year to look for bridesmaids dresses. When we arrived we waited in a very small foyer and were then taken upstairs, shown a room to leave our things and taken to the dresses. The consultant didn't stay with us and went back to sorting wedding dresses out down the other end of the room. They didnt help us at all with finding the right materials, styles etc that would compliment my bridal gown, whereas the next shop really did help me. The area we were in for the bridesmaids dresses was cramped and I couldnt wait to leave.i didnt feel very welcome. The service could definitely be improved however they did have some lovely dresses so 3 stars.

I WAS SHOKED TO SEE THE LAST REVIEW (Quite clearly using this site to cause sabotage / upset to someone thriving business ) I have been going to this AMAZING Bridal / prom boutique for 3/4 years Staff are Outstanding always willing to help.... The owner is always willing to bend over backwards to make sure you get the service YOU deserve. I always travel from Cardiff as I find that this boutique offers so much more than the Cardiff dress shops it's well worth any trip. As I am a plus size girl I do find it had to have Amazing dress for that special occasion BUT it has never been a problem here at DO YOU BELIEVE Also children's wear is absolutely gorgeous a must see! This shop is always clean and welcoming And I hope by writing this review you ignore negative nonsense on the last review
