We had our wedding reception and ceremony here last Saturday and it was absolutely out of this world. If you are looking for a one of kind venue with amazing staff look no further. Beth & Amy were absolutely sensational and made the job look effortless. They literally took the panic away, and the attention to detail was incredible. I can’t thank lysaghts enough for delivering on the most important day of our lives. Our day was better than we ever could have imagined. If I could do it all again, I wouldn’t change a single thing. Thanks for delivering 5* service on the happiest day of our lives!

Absolutely stunning venue, but the staff are what make this place even better. We attended a wedding here 16.07.22 and every single member of staff was so friendly and attentive. Special shout-out to the bar staff in the evening who we had a great chat to and were both friendly and professional, especially the young lady who was only on her second shift and smashing it! Absolute fantastic from start to finish. Wedding was postponed twice due to covid but this wasn’t a problem at all. All the staff were amazing . Our actual wedding day here was out of this world , all the staff treated us more like family than guests. The DJ was fantastic and had the music spot on. Unfortunately my daughter was poorly after the ceremony and Martina and Chris were amazing with her , even the security looked after her . A massive thank you to Martina who was our coordinator , she went above and beyond without asking and we cannot thank her enough we will never forget her, she is one very special lady to us. Thank you to all the staff from the bottom of our hearts for making our day so special. We wish we could do it all over again. We would Highly recommend this venue to everyone Kelly & Dylan Loosley

I organised a Training day for teachers at Lysaght for the National Literacy Trust and it was an excellent venue for the event. Really professional service, a lovely setting, excellent technology, brilliant catering options, good value for money. Gwent Quilters - We held our 3rd Patchwork and Quilting Exhibition at the Lysaght Institute in June. It is a beautiful venue and the main hall is very light and airy. The staff were wonderful and couldn’t have been more accommodating. They looked after us extremely well and constantly checked if there was anything we needed. Unfortunately, we will not be able to hold another exhibition there. As a local community group we are unable to afford the fees as they have risen way beyond our budget.

Booked a conference room to host my work team for an Away Day and couldn't have been more pleased with what Lysaght offered us. Lovely, helpful and accommodating team at Lysaght, comfortable setting with all the necessary amenities (coffee, tea, A/V setup, flip charts, etc.) and conveniently located within short driving distance to Friars Walk where we went for lunch. And very competitively priced! Calling around I couldn't believe how expensive some other establishments were to book a conference room - all you want is a clean, quiet, comfortable meeting space with an A/V setup and ideally some easy parking, and Lysaght offers all of this and more. I've a feeling my team and I will be back every year. Thanks to Helen and the team for all your help!

Choosing the Lysaght for a Memorial function with 95 people attending proved to be an excellent decision. Communication proved straightforward with an initial viewing of the facility and discussion of details well in advance, and a follow-up visit a couple of weeks before the event to finalise details. There was flexibility shown throughout by the team who made every effort to make the occasion as special as it needed to be. The location and facilities are very good. The catering and arrangement of the room were spot on, and the team serving were attentive and professional from setting up on the day till the end of the event. Thank you to the whole team.

Our daughter won a meal after being nominated as a NHS hero in 2020. We were lucky enough to enjoy that experience recently. The whole evening was superb from start to finish. We were all treated exceptionally by the staff. The food was superb. The room was decorated beautifully. I cannot thank the staff enough for a wonderful family evening.

Beth was our coordinator and took care of every detail so we could enjoy the process and all of our guests had the best time. If you’re looking for a wedding venue, I can’t recommend Lysaghts highly enough!

We had the pleasure of having our wedding at the Lysaght Institute this weekend. I have nothing but praise for this venue. The lead up to the wedding was stress free and we were always informed and knew what to expect. Helen & Bethan were both great in organising meetings, very straight forward and did not hesitate to be supportive and answer any questions that we had. The actual day. From guests (who arrived before me), the feedback has been wonderful the team were extremely welcoming, friendly and organised. On my arrival, it was raining and Bethan greeted myself, MOH and bridesmaid from the car with an umbrella. I was nervous and Bethan was great in being the calm person I needed in the situation. Bethan also paid particular attention to my father whom was getting a little confused and agitated by the ongoing situation and Bethan was great at directing and supporting my dad. The venue was made up so beautifully, and the ceremony was absolutely perfect. Following the ceremony, we were guided downstairs to another beautifully made up room. The organisation of the room was perfect, so beautiful. The whole evening went off perfectly. One big thing for me is that my son has allergies and I completely forgot to cater a desert for him and one of the staff went to Morrisons and picked him up a desert and that absolutely made the night for me and my husband. Everyone enjoyed themselves. The djs were absolutely fabulous also. The bar staff (according to guests) were lovely. Everyone was accommodating, friendly organised. I couldn’t have asked for anything more. Oh, the food: WOW

Amazing venue with staff that go the extra mile to make sure your experience is the best possible. Due to the recent government announcement, the venue was told at very short notice that they could not hold their lunch with Santa. They instead decided to provide a delivery service and I have to say it was outstanding. An elf delivered warm food and gifts to our door and my children were amazed. Every little detail was thought through from personalised letters from Santa to wine for the old folk ;-) We will definitely be booking lunch with Santa again next year and will be trying to attend as much as possible throughout the year. Well done to the whole team at Lysachts!

I was here for work reasons but lovely people and an exceptionally beautiful venue for a wedding reception or party. The building itself has lots of.history and photos are all around to see the progress of the building. The standard of cleanliness is exceptional and they have an excellent covid prevention amd protection in place. I would highly recommend the place to friends and family.

We were booked for brunch with Santa but sadly that couldn't happen due to covid restrictions. Very soon after the lockdown announcement we received an email to say they would deliver to us instead. The following day an elf arrived with a huge box of goodies. Presents for our children and really magical touches that will be treasured forever. The food was gorgeous and it even came with little glass bottles with milk shake, portioned out hot chocolate and milk. The whole thing from the presentation, the taste and the experience really cheered everyone up here. If that's what you do for home delivery I can only imagine how lovely it would have been to actually be there. I will definitely be looking you up next year for the kids special Christmas experience. Had my sisters 30th party here on 19th July and the venue itself was superb, they set it out just as we asked and food was lovely! The staff were amazing, nothing too much trouble and so friendly. Fabulous place to hold work events. Very large meeting room upstairs. Has audio, visual, catering, air con and accessible to all including a lift. Limited parking but unrestricted parking in B&Q and supermarket car parks.

I liked this place. It was neat tidy and pleasant look at at. It's not a big Hall however it accommodate 200 people roughly in the hall on the first floor. It has an outdoor balcony section which is quite nice and the scenery around it was quite nice as well

Helped to organise a company celebration evening at the Lysaght Institute. Staff (Helen) were absolutely superb from the organisational stage to the bar staff working on the night. Linc provided a buffet which was good value for the money. Highly recommend the DJ too, selected a great playlist for the crowd.

My husband and I would like to thank Bethan and all other staff involved in the planning and coordination of our wedding at Lysaghts in August of this year (2018).
