D. S.We went to The Church for a New Year's Eve event, not for usual dinner. It was a dinner + party, and it was really nice ambient, with beautiful decoration and good music. The building is amazing, and it worths visiting. However, I'd say the food wasn't amazing, and it was just "okay", with good presentation but no flavour. Considering the type of restaurant, I was expecting more of it. So, in general the experience was good, but I felt a bit disappointed with the menu.
H. W.A very nice meal with warm and friendly service. Super setting, felt very clean and secure, all the right measures and checks in place. Lovely sparkling cutlery and nice tableware. Modern music too! Recommended!

B.A great Wedding venue, for day and evening, we attended just the evening do of a Wedding recently, when you walk in the main front door the bar is at the end of the room, to your right there is a small corridor where the toilets are, and then you walk through into the main room which is a fair size and has a mezzanine floor to the rear. The lighting is ambient and lights up some of the stained glass windows - especially above the bar. (Paid) Parking is in the main Commercial Street car park which is a short walk away.
J. P.Held my wife’s 30th there on 18th November and loved every minute. Beautiful venue and the staff were exceptional on the night. Helped me with everything and big shout out to Shannon who made it really easy for me to plan!

C. B.Another Great meal at the Church Restaurant, this is the 2nd time we have been for Sunday lunch and was even better than the 1st time. We had our wedding reception here in 2015 and wish we could go back more than we do as we love the place. The new owners are continuing the previous work and really expanding the offer. We will be back again soon for Sunday lunch!!

W.We love it here, have visited a few times and the menu is great, the lamb wellington my partner had was delicious i had to try some and my vegetarian dish was awsome, im not a vegetarian but i do often order meatless meals, the pork popcorn with apple sauce appetiser was great, all washed down well with a refreshing rhubarb Gin and ginger ale, every time we go the menu is slightly different which is great im a super fussy eater but i can always find something to eat and its always amazing, we have never had to wait too long for our food, the servers have never forgotten about us, great service thanks everyone at The Church for our fantastic meal, we'll be back in the winter
S. S.Went to a medieval banquet here tonight. Had a lovely time with a couple of friends, food was really very good and plentiful. Entertainment was good too. It might not be everyone's cup of tea but we had a very good time and would definitely do it again.
