Barbara is tenacious and incredibly hard-working, and one of the biggest and friendliest personalities that I know. I've known Barbara for many years, having been a member of the Good Egg Entrepreneurs group that she started and organised. Every event was interesting, fun, and planned with meticulous detail, and some of the most memorable networking events I've ever attended. Her focus on outcomes from events is really clear, too. Breed Events helped me to put on my first solo fine art photography exhibition in March 2018. It was also a celebratory exhibition of internationally Gold-awarded images so it meant a lot to me and I wanted the event to have the right feel to it. Barbara was very helpful throughout the process from beginning to end and even in helping me analyse the results afterwards. Details that I hadn't thought of were dealt with for me, with clear indications along the way of any input needed from me. She liaised with the venue, suppliers and registered visitors, enabling me to focus on enjoying the evening and chatting to those who attended. Putting on an event can seem like a big challenge and a large expense. However, with Breed Events working with me it became far less stressful than I thought it might be. Most of the load was taken off my shoulders. Barbara also managed to achieve local newspaper coverage of the event, which was a lovely surprise. As for the cost - it brings about so much more interaction and engagement doing something like this compared to paid advertising slots in magazines, etc that I had tried in the past. Not only did I get interaction and sales on the night, there was a lot of social media conversation and interest beforehand and afterwards. I now also have been able to contact many warm leads by email as a result of them registering for the exhibition. The results are more measurable than I had realised. Barbara communicates well and helped me to achieve an event to remember with just the right level of formality and presentation. I would gladly work with her again on future events. She is good at anticipating potential problems as well as suggesting solutions and ways forward. I had the opportunity to get to know Barbara while we were cohorts in the Certified Event Design Level 3 Program in summer/fall of 2020. A quick, sharp learner, it was delightful to collaborate on course work and our thesis projects.
