Superb team here. Gill, Patricia and the team couldn't have been better, with Gill's experience, attention to detail and help in making the right choices. Great wines. Chef Lightfoot and his team prepared the best wedding food we've ever had. Overall - excellent!

Many thanks to Alison, Glynis and the rest of the team at Number 47 for hosting our wonderful wedding reception. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful on the run up to wedding and on the day itself. The room looked beautiful and was laid out exactly how we requested. The wedding breakfast was delicious (even our picky eaters finished their meals!) and there was so much food for the buffet. Best wishes to everyone at Number 47.

I booked this venue for a Hen Party. Alison was my point of call and she was so lovely and professional. We arranged to meet so I could have a look at the Garden room. It was just perfect for what I wanted. She than gave me a tour of the building which was just beautiful. I planned an Arabian Themed night and asked if the chef could do the catering but I wanted Arabian food, nothing was too much at all. They allowed a company to come in and decorate for me, again they met them as I was working. Ann, Lewie and the chef Roger were there the night of the Hen Party, they were just fantastic, the food was AMAZING!! Lewie from the bar got involved with the belly dancing we had which was such a laugh. Overall the staff made the experience. I could not recommend them enough, a big thank you to you all!! We planned to get host our weddi g reception here on 28th March 2020. Alison the event manager was amazing always on the other end of the phone and was happy to go through ideas, changes and plans. We cancelled due to lock down and again Alison was on the other end of the phone and happily moved date. As the numbers remained reduced number 47 could no lo ger host the wedding. They gave me plenty of notice and gave me a full swift refund. I cannot fault them at all. Kim and Rob

Number 47 laid on an excellent buffet for about 130 guests of mine at a Wake to commemorate my deceased son. Both the food and the room were just what I wanted.

A beautiful building set in the heart of Norwich. Amazing masonic museum within coupled with a very interesting building history. Warm and friendly staff are contained within!
