As you walk in looking around, you see the amazing architecture. We went in the great hall , to some amazing musicians called The Fleetwood Mac Legacy. Brilliant show as they played the tunes through the years.

The Albert Hall is a lovely venue. We attended a Fever candlelight concert. Music by Tchaikovsky accompanied by a couple of ballet dancers. It was beautiful and well worth the effort on a dark and rainy December night.

I love architecture and this place is oozing with marble and stained glass windows, extraordinary building with tasteful decor. We went for a concert and the bar was run very efficiently with good selection of drinks AND served in glasses! Their was also very nice coffee on offer. Inside the grand (in feature not seating numbers) auditorium was a modest stage with stained glass windows on the rear wall. Acoustics were very good and our seats gave us a great view of the artists.

I was only in the venue for a conference. Its a wonderful, intimate venue. The architecture, at first is distracting because you can't help but look at it. The staff were very friendly and more than happy to help.

A beautiful building and incredible venue with wonderful acoustics. I was rather taken by the audience at the show that I attended. There were only three cameras held aloft, and only to take photos, not to film the entire performance and then be lost in the internal memory of the users smartphone. It's as though the audience actually enjoyed the venue and the show in real time.

Wonderful venue, the hall has great acoustics for music performances. The stalls main area is flat, however there are some seats rising up a level at the back and sides, these are excellent if you're a shorty and want a seat in the stalls, as these raise you above the main front stalls nicely meaning you can see properly. NB: The Playhouse bar is just around the corner which makes a good meeting place prior to performances, but do check that it's going to be open if you plan to visit.

The only problem here is parking. Parking is effectively a tax on the use of the businesses in Nottingham. VAT is 20%, parking adds 30% on the price of my ticket. So more than 50% of the price of the ticket went to local or national government. We had several people leaving before the end because their parking ran out. The alternative was to get drown that night using public transport and struggle walking long distances. Not everyone is fit and healthy and can do this any more. The staff were very helpful and friendly, it's a lovely place, and the refreshments were not overpriced like at similar places. If it were more accessible I would have run many courses and conferences there myself.

Nice venue located on the edge of Nottingham city centre. The layout ensures that you can see most of the people whom are on stage, as we went to see our son performing Christmas songs and managed to find a seat with a good view of him despite turning up late. Acoustics were good. Staff polite and friendly.

The place is constantly in immaculate condition in terms of cleanliness, it just provides refuge and confort when required.The decor represents British culture and society, thus making it perfect for hosting events such as exams, talks and conferences.

Hadn't been to the Albert Hall for about 50yrs,so didn't know what to expect!! It's been well preserved and the staff were warm and friendly, though the hall itself was a tad on the cold side initially. It soon warmed up when the Red Hot Chilli Pipers put on an excellent show that had everyone up and boogying. We had our tickets for the 2020 show and waited 2yrs with 2 cancellations. We'll worth waiting for, thoroughly enjoyed the show. Pity there was such a low attendance on such a great night!! Looking forward to another excuse to visit Nottinghams Albert Hall again.

Not as large as expected for the show we went to see. But the staff were very polite, helpful and friendly. A nice atmosphere within and the sound worked very well, which is what was important for the choir we went to see. Drinks were reasonably priced.

I attended for a live recording of a TV show. It's a lovely building with nice looking decor. Facilities are good and the building is acessible for wheelchair users. Admittedly, owing to what I visited the conference centre for, I didn't have the opportunity to see a great deal of the building, however, what I did see was welcoming.

We went to see the Rock Choir and it was amazing. A really enjoyable evening. The venue was very hot and at times a little uncomfortable due to heat, but it was hot in and out if the building. The drinks and snacks were very expensive.

Albert Hall was my chosen venue for a university summer ball for almost 200 people. Everyone was blown away by the stunning main hall - much better than your generic hotel room! Staff were very helpful and very easy to work with - accommodating for all our needs. All in all, if you are looking for a venue for an event with the wow factor then this is your place! Very popular choice with all guests. Thank you for working with us!

A very friendly, family owned conference centre. Various meeting rooms and a very large main conference hall. Food was reasonable and they have arrangements with local hotels for accommodation. The one I chose was VERY BUDGET END but this review isn't for the hotel Due to the historic nature of the building, the disabled access is not great due wheelchairs. Other conference facilities all ok We had a conference when it was massively hot.... And the main hall had poor ventilation and no aircon.. Other rooms have aircon but not the main hall which was almost unbearable Staff were brilliant though. Avoid booking in a heatwave, otherwise they'll look after your conference very well I guess 😊

The Albert Hall was the perfect host venue for The Snowman. Virtually a full house looked after really well by the staff. A beautiful setting and an amazing performance by the orchestra, NTU choir and soloist. What a great start to the festive season

I was singing in a concert on Saturday. The venue has wonderful acoustics. The Hall is very clean and there is a nice bar where limited refreshments are sold. Friendly, helpful staff

Spent an evening here recently and was very impressed by the location and facilities. Plenty of on street car parking and NCP available. The main hall is suitable for a whole range of functions, bar and catering was excellent.

Great place to have a big event, e.g. a conference or a concert, and they provide meals, too. Staff are friendly and always on hand to help. The Hall is grand and close to the city centre. They've got discount tickets for users who need to park their cars. Just ask the staff and follow the instructions on the ticket at the nearby NCP carparks.

Graduation ceremony in terrific surroundings as the Albert Hall adds to grandeur of the occasion. Steeped in history and traditional architecture the hall was an ideal place to hold this event, although for the elderly a bit more of a challenge due to stairs.

We used the Albert Hall Conference Centre in Nottingham as the venue for our 2012 Conference & Exhibition. Pim Doeswijk was extremely helpful and diligent in the run up to our event and clearly listened to, and delivered, exactly what we wanted. On the day the Albert Hall staff made our job on the day very easy from the wonderful catering provided and professional set up of the venue. The stunning Great Hall in particular makes the Albert Hall a fantastic venue for corporate events and I would thoroughly recommend it.

Nottingham Albert Hall was much improved after its remodelling some years ago. Like all former Methodist halls it suffers from having the choir seats divided by a huge pipe organ. Well looked after.
