Reviews of Nonsuch Studios

It's a really neat place, tucked away on a side street from Lower Parliament. Saw a top class play (Queens of Sheba) in a really wonderful intimate studio, great theatre experience.
Staff are all friendly, and there's a small but gorgeous kitchen / cafe in the waiting area.
Will definitely be looking out for some of the other events. An altogether brilliant little jewel for Nottingham.

Amazing place, I was on a workshop with the creative quarters Big House. It was an amazing space, bright and airy. Great little cafe section as well. A brilliant venue for workshops, or even art shows. I would highly recommend this place

Refused to allow me entry with 12" tall £2000 pedigree dog even if I returned with a dog carrier which i had in my car. Could not give reason, it is a concrete outdoor bandstand. They surround the venue on all sides with 8 foot plastic banner fencing so don't expect views of the trent.

Cons: No lift, and don't park in the driving bays on the property, because you'll get a £50 fine!
Pros: It's near to the city centre,, opposite the Quaker building. The loos are unisex and the building is lovely and clean.

Me and Mrs enjoyed a mindfulness creative meditation class at Nonsuch studio. It has a nice vibe to it.

I will be honest as I always am.
We attended the apparent first comedy night hosted by this venue by chance. Eg, it was pissing down with rain and we had an extra night that the wife and I were trying to fill.
The comedic line up, quite good for names I did know. The room made it difficult such as the Muslim jokes by Sadia Azmat who my wife and I found hilarious but others seem did not.
However our MC Madam Myra DuBois who I would have loved to have had a selfie with but sadly did not get the chance was amazing. As a straight man and part of her following (now) she bought pisstake to the room and brightened my evening.
Good night for the price along with wine, go enjoy and stop procrastinating by reading this!!!!!!!!!

Good venue, no free parking (parking meters on street with regular traffic wardens visiting). Can do park and ride, as it's not far from the tram route.
