Excellent taster session for SUP. Dan our guide was brilliant showing us everything we needed to know. Definitely would have the confidence to hire paddleboards from Adventure Rutland and going onto the lake ourselves. Thanks to the team.

We had an intro to SUP this morning and it was brilliant. Great talk through all the various kit means I feel confident to go out and hire a board. Dan was really great at showing us what to do ( gathering me out of the reeds when I fell off!) and really friendly and supportive. I absolutely loved it and cannot wait to go back there. All equipment was included and the venue of beautiful. Go, go go!

Had a fantastic afternoon on the private taster paddle boarding session. A gorgeous setting for leaning to paddle board. A family group of 6 of us, mixed ages and we all loved it. Dan made us feel very welcome and made the session lots of fun. All of the staff team made us feel really welcome. We will definitely be back!

We had a fantastic day on the river on Sunday when I took my sister and two nieces to learn to paddle board. Our instructor Dan Wallace was brilliant and taught us all the basic techniques then had us jumping in the river to cool off. Thoroughly recommend the experience with Adventure Rutland and we will be back.

What an amazing time this morning had so much fun having a paddleboard open taster. We learnt how to go from kneeling to standing, others quicker than me but I persevered. Our instructor Dan was great and so informative. I shall be back 😊 great value for money too 👍

I attended a couple of paddle boarding taster sessions with Dan at Adventure Rutland with friends, and then joined the Thursday Night SUP Club. The team are fantastic. Always encouraging, whatever your ability, and pushing those who are ready to try new things. I love being able to get out on the water with likeminded paddlers, in a safe and nurturing environment, where I’m confident to test my abilities. I would highly recommend Adventure Rutland to anyone looking to start paddling, or build on their skills.

First Time Paddle boarding .Helpful advise of Equipment use, lovely close up views of Pike and Carp along with Geese and great crested Grebe and Heron along with various Dragonfly's/ Damson flies.Peaceful location even with A1 so close.
