We got married at Hareston Manor in May this year and couldn't have asked for a better day. Row and Megan made us feel welcome and special from the first time we met. One of the things we were most impressed with is that nothing was an obstacle to them. Any requests or changes were met with no fuss and a positive attitude. After looking at so many DIY venues visiting Hareston Manor was a breath of fresh air and fit the image of what we wanted our wedding to be perfectly. Friends and family are still raving about the day and we are still reeling from what an incredible party it was. We are eternally grateful. Megan and Row are probably the friendliest and most efficient people ever and their venue is probably the best ever. They even arranged for incredible weather! We can't wait to see them and the beautiful surroundings again... Hopefully when we can stay in one of their beautiful glamping pods.

Without a doubt the best wedding venue in South Devon. We got married here a few weeks back and it was an utterly magical day. The owners Rowland (Row) and Megan are incredibly friendly and offer a bespoke, detail driven service like no other we have experienced. They focus on doing a small number of events to the highest of standards and it is apparent from the outset that this is not a your typical venue. Everything at the venue has been throughly thought out with a clear focus on guest experience and making sure all weddings and events held in the beautiful grounds are truly an occasion that will not be forgotten. From the moment we first visited Hareston Manor we were captivated by Row's warmth and his charming personality. Rarely do you find somebody who cares so much about the happiness of complete strangers, but when showing you around the venue you can sense Row's genuine interest in ensuring your day is able to surpass your wildest hopes and dreams. Communication with Row is speedy and hassle free. There is a real sense of familiarity which you do not get with most venues. The pricing represents good value for money as there are very few additional costs, something we found to be an exception when comparing Hareston Manor with other local venues. The venue has a multitude of different outdoor spaces which enchant and leave you wishing that you'll never have to leave. There are far-reaching views across the rolling green countryside, avenues of juvenile trees and a beautiful willow tree nestling on the banks of a stunning pond. Accommodation for guests is provided in the gorgeous glamping pods, which are set back into the wild meadow. Wild life is never far away and it is not uncommon to see pheasants, hawks, buzzards and owls which all contribute to the venues charm. Accommodation for the Bride and Groom is provided in the South Wing of the Manor House and comes complete with a four poster bed! Row and Megan have carefully curated a list of superb caterers offering a range of different cuisines. There is sure to be something that takes your fancy and all caterers share in Row and Megan’s ambition of making your day the most perfect occasion. We cannot thank Row and Megan enough for making our wedding day so special and we would like to extend our thanks to their wonderful staff who kept the day running so smoothly. All staff are friendly, professional and bring a real positive energy to the day. They are smily and clearly enjoy the part they play. We came as strangers and left with friends for life.

We booked Hareston Manor for our elopement wedding and were so glad we did - we looked at so many different venues and for us, this was perfect. When we arrived there were some lovely things in the apartment to make us feel welcome. Row and Megan were so helpful in taking my dress away to be stored and brining it back the next day when I needed it. We loved that we were able to have afternoon tea by the lake, the day before our wedding, which felt really secluded and special. The food and the table were all presented beautifully and everything - even a citronella candle - had been thought of to make us feel comfortable. Row & Megan were both so helpful throughout the weekend and made it all look so effortless. This was really great for us as we are quite independent and don’t normally like to ask for help, but they made it easy for us to accept their offers of help and ultimately made our day easier and more relaxed. We really appreciated Megan taking some photos for us so we had something to show our family – and following us round during the photos helping to carry things and sorting out my dress. As soon as we saw the photos of Hareston we felt pretty sure that this stunning property was just right for our wedding day. When we spoke on the phone the first time, that feeling was really cemented as it came across how much Row wanted to work with us to make our day exactly what we wanted. I cannot speak more highly of Kate & Katie from Thorn flowers too. Nothing seemed like too much trouble and just like Row & Megan, they made it look easy. They spent a lot of time talking to me about what I might like, corresponding via email and meeting with us in person before the day. Even when you are planning something small and relaxed, you still want it to look beautiful so I really appreciated their time ahead of the day itself. They didn’t make us feel like we were any less important because our wedding was small and intimate and I expect that’s simply because they are genuinely lovely people who care about what they do. On the day, the floral arrangements looked stunning - was so happy with them. Our sincere thanks to Steve the chef and Bella too. The meal we had on our wedding day was one of the best meals we can remember having – we will never forget it. It was all served at a perfect pace, presented beautifully and everything was absolutely delicious. The bell tent, the bar, the stunning grounds, the perfect weather…. We honestly couldn’t have asked for more. I only wish we hadn’t overdone it on the cocktails on the evening so I could have eaten more of the awesome fry up Row made for the us the next morning. We are so grateful for everything Row & Megan did to make our day special. Wishing you lots of luck with your other weddings and events – and we hope to see you next time we are able to visit Devon.

A stunning venue and amazing team made sure that my daughter's wedding went better than planned. We hired the venue over the weekend for the wedding breakfast and reception on Saturday followed by the Hindu wedding on Sunday. Rowland and Megan (owners of Hareston Manor) were brilliant right from the planning stage early last year to making it happen last weekend. The ideas they had and the attention to detail meant that everything ran smoothly. Cannot recommend the venue enough.

Beautiful. I think that weddings are made or ruined by the weather and they got a good one coupled with the location certainly made it a great occasion. Lovely little chapel steeped in history. Facilities were good and ample parking available. Staff were nice too and took the time to play a game with my daughter.

We fell in love with Hareston Manor from the moment we arrived and knew there was not another venue for our wedding. Row and Megan were incredible and checked in with us regularly to make sure that we were comfortable and whether we needed anything else. They went above and beyond our expectations – from leaving a lovely wedding pack in the apartment, beautifully preparing our afternoon tea in the tipi, cooking an amazing breakfast and beautifully arranging the wedding breakfast table. The list could go on! Without even having to ask them, Row and Megan were helping throughout the day and took photographs that we will treasure forever. We cannot thank them enough for everything they have done for us and making our day even more special. We cannot wait to visit Hareston Manor again and re-live it all!

This venue is stunning and feels like a hidden treasure. The facilities are all top quality and everything has been done with a sense of thought and style. We felt very well taken care of throughout the process. Row and Megan were fantastic and accommodating for our English/Indian mixed wedding. They were brilliant at organising and keeping the wedding machine moving so it seemed like the most wonderfully relaxed day to our guests. Two of our guests used the glamping pods and had 5 star reviews of their experience, which helped keep them part of the wedding as they had very young babies. In short, if you want to have a wedding that you or your guests won't forget...go with these guys.

They were both so friendly, easy to talk to and proactive throughout this whole process. They are a very professional couple who will endevour to cater for every need. Was there for first post-lockdown wedding reception. Fantastic tepee style marquee, green surroundings for photos, delicious food and wine and friendly service. Had to leave a little early but I'm sure it would have looked really atmospheric at night with the outdoor fires and torches.

Hareston Manor is a beautiful, unique and tranquil venue with a real charm. We had our ceremony in front of the Manor House which was truly special and held our reception in the tipi which was incredible. We had an elopement wedding at Hareston Manor at the beginning of July and could not be happier with how it went. Words cannot describe how caring Row and Meghan are and they think of every little detail to make you happy. We had a idea of what the wedding of just two of us should look like and once we saw the venue we immediately knew this is it but then somehow they still managed to exceed our expectations on the day. Every vendor we had was top notch and very relaxed and friendly. The breakfast, picnic (afternoon tea) and the dinner were all exceptional and the wedding suite is perfect to spend the nights and get ready for the big day. We would strongly recommend the venue for anyone who wants to enjoy a wedding at a unique venue with great history that also looks unbelievable in pictures. We honestly cannot imagine finding a better place with better hosts should it be a small wedding of 2 or a larger wedding. We will definitely be returning to Hareston Manor to enjoy this beautiful place, recharge and have a drink with the family who made sure we enjoyed our day to the maximum with absolutely no stress.
